I've been watching Hazbin Hotel in prime. Just watched episode 5 and I gotta ask
Why, oh, WHY DON'T I SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT "MORE THAN ANYTHING" WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE HAZBIN HOTEL MUSIC???
Like I get it, the song before it "Hell's Greatest Dad" Is a bop reminiscent of other music from the era its parodying. I loved it.
BUT why are you only putting clips of that song when this MASTERPIECE comes a few minutes after
I honestly don't even know where to begin with this song. The visuals are beautiful, especially when we get moments like this where you can just see the absolute LOVE this man has for her daughter is so sweet and Heartwarming I just-
The voices are fenomenal but what else can you expect from the broadway talents of Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Jordan.
There is also the whole Symbolism with passing the baton to the next generation and stuff. I- I can't even get into the specifics right now Im too emotional.
But above all else THE LYRICS
ESPECIALLY THAT LAST ONE
"I'M GRATEFUL YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER/FATHER MORE THAN ANYTHING"
DO YOU WANT ME TO CRY?? CAUSE I AM. I AM BAWLING MY EYES OUT RIGHT NOW.
It's just so fucking beautiful man. Probably the best song I will hear all year. Obviously my favorite from Hazbin.
there are several reasons as to why i prefer movie!spot but probably the biggest factor is that a relatively unassuming lanky looking white 14-16 y/o filled with bloodlust is so much scarier to me than mister buff guy who just kind of stands there. you expect this short stacked guy to be scary and beat the shit out of you but nothing is scarier than a teenager who can immediately clock all your personal weaknesses/insecurities and use them for evil
okay i'm not going to watch hazbin hotel because i dont want to but i have seen precisely four (4) tiktok edits of the spider twink (who is apparently actually named anthony and speaks italian?) and the.,.. husky?? cat??? (im unclear) short buff bar tender dude and i legally need to say that if the cartoon came out in 2012 the sprace aus would have been fucking insane
that one racevid post of yours is something i think about regularly btw.........
listen. i am a firm believer in soulmates being two people who clash and grate against each other but keep coming back to one another until they eventually smooth out each other's edges and fit together perfectly and if racevid happens to fit that trope perfectly then i cannot help that. you see this, you understand my problem.
seriously though josh barnett took everything i wished we could've seen in davey and race's dynamic and took it so above and beyond... every day i think about 'don't start with me!' and the sudden warmth he treats davey with in 'king of new york'. every day.
