The concept of the specialists magical weapons in S6 could be cool in concept? The execution is nonexistent but yknow...

I like the fact that theyre all supposed to be connected to nature related elements. It could be great to analyse symbolically + in relation to the girls

Helia's weapon being a "Rose Thorn bracelet" is cool bc nature + Flora, but I think the visuals for the weapon could be cooler...like the rope manifesting into actual thorn vines that hurt the target if they struggle

I find it interesting that Sky, Brandon and Riven get Moon, Laser and Solar elements respectively, esp since it doesn't correspond to their girlfriends.

Sky and Riven being opposite ends of moon/sun in relation to stella...

Brandon's laser weapon isn't exactly tied to nature (maybe wind?) but I feel you could draw links to Tecna and tecnology bc green + him having shield protective spells

I'm disappointed that none of them harness Bloom's fire power or Aisha's morphix/water powers, but I think Timmy's crossbow could harness flames in his arrows?

Similarly, I think Roy could have a water related sword, since his shield is already sand/beach adjacent. A lightning related sword could also be cool... Also can i say its so lame they don't name Roy's sword, ITS JUST CALLED SWORD???

Nex's wind halberd is the most interesting to look at? Thoren's earthquake hammer is also my personal fave bc I'm a sucker for big hammer hitting the ground and cracking it...I wish the hammer was much bigger though, like Brandon's old sword. Oversized weapons are neato

The fact they both specialise in long range combat compared to the others being close range is also a nice change

Anyway, they could have done so much more with the weapons. It was such an unfortunate letdown in execution that made the S6 weapon change practically unecessary

ive been a fan of the show for a while!!! was never active in the fandom though which might've been a good thing HFDSJH. i rewatch the show a lot for comfort reasons when im not feeling great

and anon..... i am hearing you loud and clear 👀👀 the atla canon lore would prolly be changed a bit (though not too much) to accommodate the mess that is the runes cast LMAO.

kenta was already inspired a bit by katara (katara is literally her voice claim haha) and would be in the water tribe (by extension laxo would be as well) also kenta's mind-control spell that is given to her by question can translate into blood bending perhaps 👀

i also wont say too much about it but aspects of azula's arc mirror nex's in a way. (its like extremely loose but its there) though funnily enough i see nex being an earth bender rather than a fire bender

this might be kind of a long ask I'm sorry! (I really love your work btw) but you know how you did the personality run down for the winx girls as well as their negative traits, I was wondering if you could do that for the specialists? (I really love your versions of them — their personalities are so nonexistent in canon)

Sure! I love giving the boys more personality lol i kind of ended up talking about their mental state as opposed to their flaws but like. ur flaws are reflective of ur mental state so. idk.

SKY: Sky didn’t have a good sense of how the world works before going to Red Fountain (to be fair he was aware of this which is partly why he wanted to go in the first place). His childhood was strict but coddling, he wasn’t allowed to make his own choices but he had everything he could ever need provided for him. So adjusting to real life that first year in school was ROUGH. He had his ass handed to him several times for being a royal prick and couldn’t even really do anything about it because of the identity swap. Fortunately, this did nip the worst of his ego in the bud. He has a tendency to exert his control over others as a way to sooth his own anxiety/bitterness about being controlled himself. He did this especially with Bloom in the beginning of their relationship, but got a talking to from both Stella and Brandon and knocked that shit off (with the help of therapy) This issue came up again after the season 3 disaster with Diaspro and he spends a lot of secret of the lost kingdom and magical adventure working through that before season 4 puts them on earth.

BRANDON: tbh Brandon is one of the most well adjusted characters here. He has a good relationship with his parents and a strong sense of self. It helped that he had the freedom to pursue his own interests in a safe and stable environment and that his parents feel strongly about mental health issues, having first hand experience dealing with trauma in themselves and others. Brandon is the mom friend and sometimes takes on too much responsibility for his friends’ emotional states and becomes preoccupied with fixing their problems for them. In the process of officially becoming Sky’s guard/companion in his late teens he was forced to learn to set boundaries a little better. Brandon is literally always trying to get the other guys to take advantage of the fact that Red Fountain has an on campus counseling office but they’re like “nooooooo my unheathy coping mechanisms are fine” meanwhile after every winx mission Brandon roller blades into the office with an ice coffee like “what is UP I have new trauma”

TIMMY: so Timmy was raised on an asteroid colony, and had a fairly unstable childhood just because of that environment, his mom loves and provides for him as much as humanly possible so his emotional attachments are pretty secure, but he does have issues with permanence. if something is lasting a long time (whether good or bad) he starts to get antsy and suspicious, and sometimes ends up self sabotaging by poking at the thing when he should just leave it alone. He also has some hoarding tendencies due to his childhood. Timmy also hates feeling like a burden, and doesn’t take advantage of some of the opportunities ( at Red Fountain because he feels like he doesn’t deserve them. 

HELIA: helia baby stop repressing your emotions and desires to fit into other people’s definition of success its not good for u. So Helia is a quiet person by nature, but also struggles with dissociating in order to avoid anything unpleasant or difficult. This is mostly seen by pursuing both magic and warrior training for his dads’ sake, even though all he wants to do is paint shit and write poetry. His dads would ultimately be supportive but Helia is terrified of failure lmao, and lacks the confidence to actually express his needs but also can’t pursue what he really wants because WHAT IF IT DOESN’T WORK OUT. he will also use the silent treatment/cold shoulder as a way to hurt people if he’s mad at them.  

NABU: ok like on the surface Nabu is doing pretty well. He’s got his shit together. He knows exactly what to say and how to say it. But the boy is also a mess. He does repair some of his relationship with his parents after he and Aisha officially get together, but is still super angry at them for treating him like an achievement/trophy and then essentially tossing him away when he became inconvenient. Nabu also has a tendency to be secretive and a little manipulative, secretive because it was a way to get back at his parents as a child and manipulative because he was raised to basically be a politician and doesn’t like conflict so he’ll just mess with situations and people until it’s what he wants. These aren’t big problems while he’s doing his own solo thing but Aisha is not down with this and is basically like “take steps to fix it or leave” and joining as an unofficial member of the specialist’s rescue team forces him to do some self evaluation and improvement. 

NEX: Nex is another one with good parental relationships, his issues primarily stem from his competitiveness and impulsiveness. He also holds grudges pretty badly, Thoren is helping him to work through stuff like that internally instead of taking it out on the target. His impulsiveness has gotten him into A LOT of trouble, he basically has no filter which can be fine but also he needs to shut tf  and read the room sometimes. He really wants to do a good job as a paladin but does worry he’s not gonna succeed (mostly because he’s comparing himself to Thoren which really isn’t fair lol). He and Aisha are both impulsive, and try really hard to keep each other in check(as a mutual thing) but sometimes they just end up bouncing off each other until its complete chaos. (ok my version of Nex is basically just a himbo i honestly don’t know how this happened help)  

RIVEN: yikes, ok riven has issues. At his core, Riven is terrified of abandonment, and deals with this by keeping everyone around him at arms(or farther) length so they CAN’T abandon him. This can include, ignoring, insulting, avoiding, and flat out rejecting any offer of friendship or affection. He’s also fairly defensive, and is constantly trying to “prove himself”, which great, push yourself and improve, but also you have an ideal you can never actually live up to which just leaves you feeling shittier than before so stop that. Riven also has... some ptsd? trauma. And has some trigger phrases based on the spells Darcy used to control him. In season 1 Brandon had almost convinced him to go to therapy just for his attitude and to mesh with the team better, but the whole thing with Darcy happened and he shut himself off to any perceived outside threats until around the beginning of season 3 when he started attending sessions with the Red Fountain counselor.

What streams would the specialists choose if they were magic sensitive?

Ooh, what an intriguing idea! 

Sky, due to societal and familiar pressure wouldn’t even think of anything else but fey magic. Centuries prior, Eraklyon and their neighbouring countreis on Manubra 47 basically kickstarted the anti-witchcraft movement that swept up the whole Magic Universe, which still has a lasting effect on how people view them. Calling someone a witch*er is up there with the worst insults of their language and the royal heir shouldn’t be seen anywhere near that controversial stuff. Sky would fit fey magic personality wise as well, he wants to please and he values harmony as well as gestures of selfless bravery. He wouldn’t have trouble cultivating a large magic core and his position as royal heir would put him in situations that allow him to reap benefits of his chosen stream, just like Bloom and Stella do. His aspect could be something conceptual, like Fairy of Freedom or similar.

Brandon is difficult. He spent so much of his formative years being what people wanted him to be, or entirely pretending to be someone else. He would definitely need to try out all three of them to form an opinion, and even then I think he would be most influenced by the two people who are closest to him, Sky and Stella, being fairies, so he might end up picking fey magic just based on that principle. Masculinity, though not in the rigid and traditional way, is very important to him, so I don’t believe witchcraft would be a top pick for him for this reason, as it is mainly a matrilinear art (just meaning that male or NB practitioners don’t stand as much gain from heritage artefacts as female ones do) and it wouldn’t mesh with him well. Brandon takes great care in the things he does and not being able to take advantage of a stream to its fullest makes his overachiever heart hurt. I never really contemplated an aspect for him, but I bet it could be something funny like Dance.

Riven would I think be enticed by the promise of near limitless magical power that sorcery offers, but I don’t think anything other than paying for his powers eye for an eye would appeal to him. So I believe he could settle for witchcraft, but maybe blend it with the physicality of sorcery spells. (Hybridising magic streams is not impossible, but a bit unheard of. Faragonda does it as well to an extent. But practitioners must be aware that they thread a difficult and uncharted path with no established canon of doctrines and elders to learn from).  Riven1s aspect would be something very tied to the material world or his skills, like Swordsmanship, Weapon Forgery - or something softer and conceptual that is close to his person that he is embarrassed to share like Familiar Love.

Timmy is the only one who I think would head first go for sorcery, fully aware of the limitations and price it incurs. He is half Callistan half from Erath in the AU and not particularly spiritual, so the Afterlife never held an appeal for him that he now feels must give up to practice sorcery. He is extremely responsible and in tune with his limits to be able to apply sorcery with the care and logical consideration that scholars wish all practitioners of the streams would employ. His aspect would be like Analytical or Quartz Light Fractination, which would allow him to combine science and magic!

Helia in butterfly verse is magic sensitive and ends up training as a witcher. At first his interest was in sorcery and he begged Saladin incessantly to teach him, but the old man didn’t budge. Helia of course was spurred on by the denial, it just made him want to learn the forbidden thing more. It wasn’t necessarily that he really would have wanted to learn how to wield sorcery, but that he desperately wanted to be taught by Saladin, to have his adoptive “gruncle” pass something on to him that Helia could claim was family skill/wisdom. With Krystal’s help he settled on witchcraft though, because that stream was the easiest to learn without official instruction by reading books under covers. HIs aspect is Dexterity Arts, covering about anything you’d need good motor control for, not just fine arts.

Nabu, as in canon, was a sorcerer. His aspect was Seaside Upwind, but as transcendent as sorcery is he never really did big magic with tidal winds, but focused on natural and magical barriers of all kinds. (He for example helped Flora develop her Wall of Vines spell)

Roy is an Androsian freshly migrated into the bigger wider world and very rejecting of both ultra-traditionalism and the ever-present influence of the wider Magic Universe that so ruthlessly eroded Androsi culture as it was before. Would he even pick a magic stream, is what I’m asking myself, or would he prefer to remain untrained just to be controversial? He makes me think of tidal caves, carved by the ocean so i think that’s what his aspect could be tied to. Just like the caves, there is more to Roy than what meets the eye and he deserves to make those depth shine beyond hurr durr, trained defensive soldier or some bulshit (whatever are specialists?).

Nex definitely is an easy gain, easy win person and he would go head first for sorcery, but where Timmy is measured and contained, Nex is not. Magic to Nex would be a stepladder to be heard and to be allowed to leave the constraints of the involuntary quarantine life on Lynphea has brought him and his family. (I’ll write about the aditional specialists backstories another time). He would love the crackle under his finger and only being beholden to himself as far as limits go. Speaking of crackle, I think his aspect could be Conductance, magical, electrical or other kind.

Winx Club Season 8 Thoughts Part 1

Here I am! The latest season of Winx. Can’t believe I made it here (especially after I sped through seasons 6 and 7). I am kinda excited about this because I am finally getting to watch the second part (I have seen the first one) and I think that after season 7, it really can’t get that much worse. Also, I am now used to the idea of the art style even if I still despise it completely and passionately. So let’s do this!

8x01:

- Who thought this art style was a good idea? And why did they have to bring the band back? That was so unnecessary. But at least the song in the opening isn’t bad.

- So... Bloom is the main vocalist but they just leave Musa to write all the songs? Didn’t think that could get more unfair and yet it did. Also, love how they changed the art style but Stella is still acting as immature as she has since season 4.

- Kiko is actually being acknowledged in the second minute? Please, tell me that will last after the lumens.

- Oh, wow, the plot is already starting? I am actually pleasantly surprised. Took them only two minutes.

- Ugh, not Obscurum! Pleaaaaaase!

- Lumenia is the star that lights Solaria? Does that mean it is the first sun of Solaria? Okay... That’s actually kinda cool.

- Oh, great! The one with all the info has amnesia! But actually, that might be a good idea because not everything is convenient for damn once! Edit: And Timmy and Tecna are back to being inventors! *happy sob*

- How is a scare supposed to trigger memories? By inducing a flashback of traumatic events? That’s cool but fear can also cause memory blockages. So idk about that. Lmao @ Kiko with that hammer, though. You might have the right idea, Kiko. We’ll come back to you once Twinkly gets annoying.

- The dissonance between the maturity of the Specialists’ voices and their FUCKING FACES! It is unbearable!

- Oh, Kiko is hitting on Twinkly? XD Jk. He just wants to cheer her up and it’s actually really cute. Almost makes up for them totally ruining his design.

- Not a song number! I am forewarning everyone that I will be skipping all of those.

- Omg! A scene of the Specialists talking? About their own stuff?!??! And them messing around with each other (read: mocking each other (and especially Nex)). We haven’t had that since... season 4? It was sorely missed, THANK YOU!

- Riven is back!

- And Knut is back! But wtf is up with Griselda’s voice? Also, how did they change her design the least, yet still totally ruined it? I cannot comprehend that! Lmao at her gestures at Knut, though!

- The memories of Twinkly actually looked pretty scary and traumatic. I can’t believe I am saying this but this season is doing a decent job so far and even more than that.

- Dammit, why do I have to suffer Butterflix again?

- I was gonna say that that was quick but the thing actually reappeared. That’s... pretty nice. Could be used to such a great advantage! And it was actually Stella’s spell that worked and not Bloom’s? They gave up on their obsession with Bloom to make this make sense? Um, yes, please?

- Okay, stealing starlight sounds like a rocking plan as soon as they explain well why the hell that is the goal here.

- Yeah, Stella, you are so damn cautious! Girl, you’re almost as impulsive as Bloom. (But XD @ “Caution is our middle name... More of a nickname, really”)

8x02:

- Twinkly: Where am I? Me: At Alfea. Shut up!

- Why does this show have such an aversion to letting Kiko sleep in peace, dammit?!

- Flora has a plant that takes care of other plants? Omg, that is so cool! And we’re finally seeing her care for the plants in her room again! This season is already better than seasons 6 and 7 combined.

- Stella could just use magic to shrink down that enormous suitcase.

- Omg, they’re spending time with their boyfriends again instead of just screeching at them for no reason whatsoever? Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Why are Winx mad that the Specialists didn’t tell them about Riven? What would it have changed? They still would have been shocked. And why the hell is Musa yelling at Riven? They broke up! He doesn’t owe her a schedule of his every waking moment! I hate this reaction.

- Why... are the outfits gonna let them travel in space? I mean, can you imagine how cool they could have looked in spacesuits?

- Wow, that’s a lot of pink. But that IS the Winx aesthetic to differer from the aesthetic shown in you-know-what.

- Why is the queen ruler of all the stars and not just of Lumenia? Otherwise, the star lore is pretty cool. I have to say that the whole thing with the rivers reminds of the Underworld a lot which is an interesting parallel to dwell on.

- Stella is pretty amazing in this already indeed!

- Oh, the crystal monsters. I remember those. They were really annoying. And I am not a fan of the upcoming transformation upgrade.

- Did the Specialists follow them there? Not the most unshady thing they’ve done but at least they’re helping. Also, I would like to point Netflix’ attention to the way their weapons look! Take a close look!

- OH MY GOD! Someone had a smart idea here! They are actually handling themselves even though their powers aren’t all that effective! Riven is saving Musa and being awesome! This is good enough to make me cry, wtf?

- Ooh, damn! Love the way Valtor’s mark showed up and how actually bothered by it they acted! That was cool and really created a good atmosphere!

- They saved the river AND they actually talked about the sneaking around in a (mostly) mature manner? And they resolved the conflict? RIVEN IS COMMUNICATING?????? This season is a fucking treat so far! Except for Musa being a goddamn primadonna!

- Valtor’s new design is also pretty close to his original one and yet... just NOT. IT!

- Cosmix time. Okay, the visuals are actually quite pretty (I especially love the fact that they look transparent at first; I have a feeling there’s a nice symbolism to this but I’ll have to think about it a bit more). The song isn’t bad either but it’s a little repetitive,

- They probably could have done better with the name than “star yummies” but it isn’t quite so bad. I mean, we’ve seen worse and this is pretty minor considering that they’re doing pretty well with almost everything else (so far and I hope I am not jinxing this).

8x03:

- Okay, the name sounds dumb but it’s accurate.

- I have to say that I saw the twist with Obscurum coming even if I was only clicking through the episodes when I first watched this but now I want to see if it was foreshadowed. Him saying he wants to rule Lumenia still isn’t enough foreshadowing but it does raise the question of why Lumenia specifically so it’s headed in the right direction at least.

- Nice move, Stella! And, omg, did Flora just use something that’s not vines? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting really hyped up over here.

- They’re thinking! They’re actually instantly adapting to the problems that they are facing! Man, this is even better than season 1! HOW? Not that I care. Just don’t let it stop!

- So Valtor is actually using starlight to buff himself on a magical level? And in season 1 they said that starlight was the purest source of magic (4kids). Is this... continuity between the first and the latest season??????? I am literally tearing up over here because I never believed this moment would come but it has and it is beautiful!

- Not a fan of the Valtor and Obscurum dynamic because it is just... a big no again, just like his working relationship with the Trix (except I can’t decide if this is worse because Obscurum is afraid or if s3 was worse because Valtor was leading the Trix on about *gags* you know (don’t make me say it)). Love the castle in the stars, though! So cool (even if it is also so very impractical).

- Man, Twinkly really is just a stand-in for the pixies, isn’t she? Same bravery and complete and utter uselessness balance.

- Stella is fucking shining and I am loving it! But did Obscurum just say “erase them”? You mean... this has actual stakes? And Bloom’s projection of the Dragon Fire makes sense because Cosmix is light-based? Musa is using an attack that basically acts like an earthquake except without the damage aka... safe for usage? I am going to pass out from happiness. Like, you don’t even know.

- THEY ACTUALLY LOST?????? And they are not giving up but... coming up with a plan???? That is smart??????????????????? I am in love with this season for now.

- They powered the core! And that will now cause Valtor to make a shift in his strategy! This season is actually dynamic! Goddamit, yes!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

-  Obscurum to Valtor: “Something more intimate? You, me...” ... Why is he hitting on him? Bleh. But damn! The trap dimension has so much potential!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Oh, song time. Goodie. Why is Obscurum acting like he has the dancing plague? And, for fuck’s sake, why am I getting Christian Grey vibes from Valtor? Ugh! *shudders* Please, no! But he is actually taking Winx seriously and coming up with countermeasures? Um, yes, I will take that!

- Ugh, why are they having classes again?! I hate that part!

- Sky, you know where they were! But I actually kinda like the change to have Bloom be the one that doesn’t have time for dating instead of having her sulking over Sky being a prince and having royal duties the whole time.

- What do you mean that Griselda doesn’t know what is going on? This is not Griselda!

- Tecna, watch what you’re putting in your damn potion! I know Musa fucked up but you could have checked what she handed you!

- Aww, Tecna throwing a dance party to cheer Musa up was so cute! And look at Stella dragging all that luggage up the stairs on her own! She is precious (and devoted to fashion but this time in a not so annoying manner... so far.)

8x04:

- Dammit, why is Obscurum the first thing I see?

- Okay, it’s pretty cute how excited Bloom is. And all the rest of Winx helping Sky while at the same time judging him for not being better for Bloom and putting more effort in it. This is just the dynamic! I love it!

- Musical food? What the hell, Musa?! But lmao at the Sky and Flora moment there. And Musa and Layla’s reaction to his words. But he was right. Flora was the only one being useful.

- What picnic under the stars? There are no stars! It’s the middle of the day!

- Oh, why the drama now? Bloom also forgot their date in the previous episode because of her mission. Sky is doing the exact same rn! Hypocrisy much?

- “Your Great Malevolence” and “Your Vileness”? I don’t like Obscurum but his decorum is amusing at the very least.

- But if a star has to be attacked before it will alert them that they need to go there, they won’t be one step ahead of Valtor. They might be able to catch up with him but they are still one step behind him.

- A moving star. That was actually a cool idea although I am not sure how the hell that is supposed to work.

- Why have those lumens never heard of music? But damn, I am actually happy that they made the band plot relevant (for all of 3 seconds). At least make it have some purpose.

- At least Bloom actually also supported Sky while attacking him. She is literally the definition of mixed signals here but that’s better than her just being plain mad.

- Can they use the music to capture the star yummies in a trance? That would be nice and it would justify having the band in this season.

- Stella is having the time for a selfie while actually being super effective and handling that part of the mess on her own? Yes, please! Where was that in the previous seasons?!

- The thief is not “trying” to attack. He is attacking! But damn, Brandon made some good moves there! Are you telling me that we actually get to see the Specialists doing their own missions again plus a really cute parallel between Brandon and Stella? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!

- They’re being pulled in a black hole? Holy shit! This season is actually getting intense! And it makes sense? I am shooketh! Can Stella save them with her light, though?

- Oh, nvm! They’re gonna do it together. Eh, that still works I guess.

- The Specialists were really working as a team here and I have missed seeing that so much! It’s great to have the show acknowledge them again. It could have only been better if they didn’t look like first graders.

8x05:

- Oh, now the whole starship is being pulled into the black hole? That is actually cool! They are maintaining the tension for more than three seconds and they are showing how things actually function? Well, there’s a big surprise.

- I am glad that they are actually solving this but why couldn’t Stella generate stardust herself? She is the fairy of the sun, the moon and the stars. It would have been really interesting to see her do that and this season’s theme is right up her alley.

- Valtor’s failure is kinda amusing. But I feel a little bad about Obscurum because he literally has to walk on eggshells around Valtor. No one should have to be put through anxiety like that.

- Ooh, zero gravity plus invisibility device? That is so cool!

- I wish Bloom and Sky would have talked about their little drama with the surprise, especially because there was no need for it since the delay actually helped make things even better and much more romantic. And I am also not all that sold on the Beauty and the Beast vibes I am getting from this.

- Why is Musa acting like that again? Riven is trying to be supportive and take interest in her music. I know that he ran away but obviously something happened.

- Good thing that Riven is being competent while the rest are busy partying. He did pretty well considering that he just intercepted a planned heist and he wasn’t prepared.

- Aren’t you supposed to drift in space instead of fall as if there’s gravity?

- I am a little done with the ship being threatened yet again because it can’t move without the stupid core but I really want to see how Winx are gonna save it now that the ruby is stolen.

- Maybe if they try something else other than generic blasts they may be able to defeat it.

- Valtor was the one that summoned the black hole? And he is getting low on magic juice? That kinda makes sense now that he doesn’t have Dragon Fire anymore.

- O-kay. That strategy was semi logical. Not the best they have done but it could have been worse.

- Selfish? He is trying to save a whole planet! It wasn’t like he was stealing it for the money! No, I get it that his actions weren’t okay but Musa is being a bitch to everyone. And what she just said to Riven. She is refusing to give him a second chance but is acting like she’s the one who is making all the compromises here!

8x06:

- Why wouldn’t he be allowed on Eridia? Oh, he really fucked up the core.

- Oh, shut the fuck up, Orion! It is your fault it didn’t work because you were the one who broke the core and now it can’t hold the light!

- Flora is really rooting (whoops) for abandoning the core. Nice one! How the fuck does she think to save the plants without fucking light?!?!?!?!

- Can I throw Orion in the black hole? HE is the one who fucked the whole thing up because he didn’t know what he was doing and now he is yelling at them that they don’t have a plan! Even though they agreed to help him instead of throwing him in jail!

- At least Valtor is adapting to the situation on the go and coming up with new strategies. But Orion is such a fool. He is desperate but why didn’t he consider the question of why the hell Valtor would care? Obviously he has beef with Winx which puts him at the not-so-trustworthy column.

- Man, Riven is right. Orion is a damn actor and very good at playing them. That isn’t his problem, of course, but the Winx’. I just wish Musa would think instead of pout the whole time.

- Shut up about the goddamn plants, Flora! You can’t save them in any longterm way without fixing the core of the planet first!

- DO NOT make “starsome” a thing. It sounds ridiculous. It doesn’t even make sense!

- Riven is actually discussing how he feels with the other Specialists? And they’re having fun (even if it is at his expense)? Why does Musa refuse to see how much he’s changed? I hate the way they are just trying to make more stupid drama!

- You do not look like big lumens to me but okay. Twinkly has a serious crush on her friend, doesn’t she?

- Yes, we all know that Tecna is a genius. And that is why she doesn’t become pray to stupid love drama when there is no reason for any!

- How the hell was Stella supposed to know if it will actually be safer? She said it looked safer! There is a difference! Also, they are only now wondering why Orion left them on their own!

- Now you guys are screwed! But wtf, why did Tecna just covere her eyes instead of... trying to do something like the rational person that she actually is! And you have to love how they only had Flora and Stella arguing so that they will have to come together to save the rest giving the illusion that they are actually undergoing some development. But hey! An episode without a musical number!

8x07:

- What is this now? Are they trying to make us sympathize with Orion by showing some remorse on his part? It is not working!

- They made Obscurum a cheerleader? He seems to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, though he is not exactly a prisoner or hostage of Valtor’s. But still. There is some kind of similar vibes.

- Cool! They revealed that the star yummies are actually corrupted lumens. That was a pretty clever idea, not gonna lie. And it is totally on brand for Valtor which is also great.

- Well, I don’t see you, lumens, fixing the fucking core yourselves so you might wanna start appreciating the fact that they’re trying! They didn’t know the core was broken and wouldn’t hold the Cosmix light!

- And how do you plan on saving them, Orion? You have no idea what you’re up against and you just betrayed the only people that cared about helping you!

- Why is Twinkly not being corrupted like all the other lumens? They are different in some way that was never explained but it was already implied that the corruption works on ALL of the lumens! So what gives? Except obvious plot convenience, of course.

- So Flora actually tried something else and didn’t go for the vines at all? I am shocked... but appreciative!

- Why aren’t the plants answering? Are they too dead for words? But that spell was actually pretty cool! They made a little sun that also has nature powers added to it to shine on all of the plants at once! That was so clever and actually pretty creative! I love it!

- The nature defeating technology theme is a little misplaced I would say considering the way they fix the problem with the broken cores of the stars later on.

- Wait! Winx were transformed when the robot caught them. Why did they have to transform again and when did the transformations disappear?

- They didn’t actually fight the thing! So far their powers have been used very little for actual battle and a lot more in creative ways to restore the balance of the stars. That actually makes a lot of sense since that was what the Cosmix was for! I like it!

- Did they just make a magical sun out of Stella’s powers by boosting her energy? This was awesome!

- Why did they think Orion was the one that changed the lumens? They know that Valtor is the one working with Obscurum and commanding them! That was such a stupid guess and for what? To give Obscurum some kind of “witty” line for his entrance?

- Orion does have cool inventions but for being a genius creator he is being a fucking dumbass! Oh, now you want to be “united” with them. After you almost got them killed and your planet fucked over big time.

- Musa is gonna give Orion a third chance but she’s gonna keep being a bitch to Riven, huh?

- Wizgiz’ redesign is giving me nightmares. Why is he teaching them something that they have been doing literally since season 2 and just did not three minutes ago?!?!?!?! And why are Knut and Kiko painting the yard pink? Really? Just so that Winx can show what they have learned even though they’ve known it for about seven years now?!?!?!?!

- Submarine star? That sounds rocking. But wait, they are using Sirenix in the next ep? Why don’t I remember that? I have watched this... I think. Yes, I have. I remember the stupidity and Nex and Layla having a moment. So why don’t I remember Sirenix?

8x08:

- I thought Valtor was on the scene and then it turned out he was just in an illusion. *sigh* And why can’t he just go himself? He is not doing anything this season. Just sitting on his ass and bossing Obscurum around. It’s just... not Valtor at all. And what’s this obsession with fucking up Andros every goddamn time he shows up?

- Aww, Winx are being so adorable and supportive! Nex, too, though that is OOC. But I can’t understand why Layla didn’t just pick up the phone and tell Nex that she needs him to stop calling so that she can focus. What is so hard about that?

- I like this version of Stella’s fashion obsession. It feels a lot more natural and isn’t overtaking the whole group and the show.

- Well, they didn’t ruin Theredor and Niobe’s designs! That’s something. And Ligea looks pretty much the same as well. I don’t understand why they felt the need to fuck up Winx and the Specialists’ designs but okay.

- Why are they making Layla unable to remember three sentences? She can do much more than that and she has always been the most capable one of Winx and an exemplary princess.

- Oh, so they already mentioned that the queen’s brother disappeared exactly when Valtor showed up (How tf does she even know that? The flashback that was shown later plus the fact that no one seemed to know Valtor was back before Winx saw his mark in 8x02 contradict that.). That and Obscurum saying he wants to rule Lumenia plus Valtor’s obvious knack for corrupting and changing everyone that’s working for him, spill it all out.

- Pretty sure no one at that party cares about Twinkly but whatevs. As long as she isn’t on screen to be annoying.

- Nex transformation time!

- Sirenix is back (never has that ever happened before) and I hate the redesign even more than the original. Didn’t think it was possible. They have also fucked up the transformation sequence and made it more boring. Nice move!

- Why is Layla refusing to talk? Coming forth about her feelings is gonna make it better. I like that Nex is actually being sensitive here even if he never naturally changed to become like that and they are just writing him wildly OOC. But he was so much of an asshole that I prefer this tbh.

- How the fuck do Sirenix powers have no effect on “a creature of darkness”? They went on the Sirenix Quest to defeat Tritanus who was definitely a creature of darkness! The writers don’t even know what they’re saying anymore. At least they left Winx handling the shark even if their powers aren’t working on it. If they’d sent Nex after it and Winx after Obscurum, it would have been too convenient.

- I like the fact that they managed when their magic was useless against the enemy. At least the writers are being a little more creative in the battles by making them rely more on strategy rather than on their powers. I can accept generic blasts and beams if the idea is that that makes their magic so useless that they need to find a creative solution.

- Nex is rooting for teamwork? He really has changed. I just wish they would have shown that instead of just jumping the gun like that.

8x09:

- Why didn’t they try trapping the star yummies in a morphix net? Or something that Tecna made with her magic? Or figured out a way to close the portals that let the star yummies come and go?

- They’re gonna make THAT a problem? Breathing underwater without Sirenix? Not like Layla has been able to breathe underwater continuously throughout seasons 2-5 without the need for Sirenix. AND she also taught the others how to perform the spell. This is such a non-problem.

- They also changed the Sirenix spells, didn’t they?

- They have been in tougher predicaments. I hate how they keep making Layla despair without a reason because she has always had a damn fighting spirit.

- Oh, look! It’s the anemone stupidity. And how is Stella supposed to wake up when she is under the influence of the anemone sting? You could try a spell if you want to wake her up, Flora!

- You’d think the lumens of Andros would know their fucking princess!!!!!

- What was the big idea with rushing out of the cave if Layla didn’t have a plan? Also, she was the one that figured out the anemones attacked when they were provoked, yet she kept attacking. Stop fucking attacking them! It’s only making things worse! Jeez, it’s not so hard to figure out that you shouldn’t antagonize them.

- So the Andros lumens sing but the Peripla ones have never heard of the existence of music? Pretty damn solid. Also, they just sang the same melody the whole time even after Layla asked them for something extra beautiful.

- How the hell did she fill the morphix with air? Did she pull all the water out in the morphix shielding and only left the oxygen atoms inside to make up oxygen molecules? This somehow doesn’t seem normal but anyway.

- So what unspelled the shark? The light of Gorgol? The living star? The starfish star? They are really starting to fuck up this season.

- Love how they never said how many years old Andros is becoming!

- Why did they make the trap dimension look like a pinball machine? What was up with that? And why did Gravity Falls do it so much better?

8x10:

- So now Alfea is having an anniversary as well? And why the fuck is Twinkly only asking now about the meaning of anniversary when they already were at the anniversary party on Andros? And they really made “starsome” a recurring slang? I hate it.

- Why is Faragonda letting the students organize the anniversary? Also, not a fan of how these latest seasons are making Griselda and Faragonda look not so fond of each other. They definitely felt a lot more in sync in the first seasons.

- Lmao, love how Winx are roasting themselves. But I cannot believe that no one has said anything about Helia’s ugliest haircut... yet. They couldn’t have possibly fucked it up more after the season 4 disaster and they somehow did! Fucking spectacular! And why is Riven wearing a scarf? When the fuck have you seen Riven with a scarf? This is ridiculous!

- Love the way Flora and Helia just decided that they will be matchmakers now! But I do think that they should first try figuring out why Musa can’t forgive Riven before deciding she will trust him.

- Why didn’t Twinkly just sit on Riven’s shoulder instead of plopping herself down right on top of the controls? The zero gravity dancing was actually pretty cute but Musa could have tried just dancing with Riven. Or at least they could have said something about why she feels like she can’t even dance with him (because she feels him unfamiliar anymore or something).

- Hypsos looks so very familiar but I can’t place it. Reminds a little of Amentia’s kingdom tbh.

- I cannot believe that the Twinkly and Lumila storyline will actually have a bearing on the real plot. How did they manage? Though, I suppose I should be happy about that.

- Turning a constellation into an actual monster was a damn good idea! Although, the writers sort of implied that Valtor has the power level of a god which has not been supported by the narrative. He was such a stronger villain in season 3.

- So... what did they do? Did they send the Hydra through the portal that the star yummies use? I actually remember it being a bigger threat and harder to defeat. Is this really the end?

- Oh, look! They can reverse the star yummy corruption with the power of love! Cut to the wedding (of Twinkly and Lumila).

- I said wedding, not a fucking concert!

- Musa, I don’t even know you anymore! Since when doesn’t she want to be the center of attention! She was literally mad at him because he hadn’t called aka paid her attention! Besides, she’s a singer (which you couldn’t fucking guess from the fact that Bloom is the goddamn vocalist!). What do you mean that he exposed her? Those are just some outlined images projected! She is a lot more exposed when she sings on stage! This is so goddamn stupid! Season 2 Musa would never.

- And why are they making Flora and Helia fuck up their own sync over Musa and Riven? They should just not meddle and keep their own relationship in harmony!

8x11:

- I am so glad we’re getting rid of Obscurum soon. I have had it with him! “Go undercover as one of [Winx]”? What the actual fuck?!

- Why is the trap dimension a goddamn gaming universe? They are truly wasting its potential! And why not just shove Winx in there?!

- Flora and Helia have never had a disagreement before? Come again? And now she’s saying they never even had different opinions on anything? That is so totally healthy, you know. And the implication that that is how a relationship should be. Wow! Fucking spectacular move!

- Just don’t make Winx fight over the Flora and Helia situation! And that was a perfect example of why they don’t need to agree on everything.

- At first I agreed with the opinion I have seen floating around that the emogix are too specific but this is the Magic Dimension. They have teleportation. What is so hard to believe that they have code that can quickly animate specific actions with pre-coded visual parameters about every separate object in the animation?

- I want to see Griselda react to that fireworks explosion!

- That was the big talk? At least they said that disagreements are not inherently bad but still. This was just a damn non-closure to a damn non-problem.

- Well, Obscurum’s plan isn’t so bad but Winx have already not been welcomed by lumens. It isn’t so original.

- Why are Knut and Kiko coming along all of a sudden? Oh, that’s right! Because those lumens are ogres like Knut. How convenient!

- I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about the fact that the lumens obviously believe that Winx have come to steal their treasure and that is why they’re attacking them.

- Tecna needed an analysis to tell that the lumens think they’re enemies and want to steal their treasure? They said that! REPEATEDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Was the core broken accidentally or on purpose? I missed that part but I don’t think that Valtor has caught on to the fact that breaking the cores will make it much harder for Winx to save the stars. Also, why did he never try to steal the Cosmix light that the Winx put in the dark cores? That would have been an interesting plan!

- Well, Convenient Knut is being awfully convenient! As was planned.

- So now the crystal is actually gonna serve as a core? Wow, what a cop-out.

- You’re telling me that Obscurum was actually the one that thought of the idea of breaking the cores on purpose? This season is really doing Valtor dirty. I just... I can’t watch. Why do they have to be like that?

- Also, he’s only now figuring out he needs to get rid of Bloom? He had that figured out at the beginning of season 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8x12:

- A wishing star that hasn’t been seen in almost a 1000 years? And he needs Cosmix to get near? How is enhancing his powers going to get him closer to the star if the problem is his darkness? What, is Cosmix gonna conceal his dark powers? Somehow, that doesn’t make sense. But damn, at least this thing is protected from dark powers so that malevolent wishes won’t be made.

- Bloom has her priorities in check and Sky comes third? After Vanessa and the mission? That is a nice change of pace, actually.

- Why doesn’t Bloom just use her goddamn magic?! It would have been so much easier! It’s hers! It’s not like she is forbidden to use it.

- Lmao, Obscurum is acting as if Valtor actually cares about him. And he thinks he’s evil? Wow, that’s cute.

- Is it me or does Vanessa look so much thinner than she used to? Not a fan of that.

- You’re telling me Bloom never made an album for her parents before? But I love the fact that they are sharing and Bloom tells them that she loves home more than anything. That was actually something that the show could have used about 4 seasons ago.

- Why do the Earth lumens look like Roman soldiers?

- Anyone else feel like the transformation of the star yummies into bigger entities is legit based on Pokemon evolution? It really operates the exact same way Pokemon evolution does.

- They’re mentioning the queen’s brother again? In what is not foreshadowing but a plainly obvious non-twist.

- Musa is really disgusted by the star yummies? They actually look pretty cute and fluffy to me. Kinda cuter than the lumens even. Not to mention that they can face monsters and whatnot but they can’t make themselves touch the star yummies? Some Guardian Fairies you are!

- Valtor feels like a nervous teenager about to introduce himself to his crush. What the hell were they thinking?

- I like the designs of the dark giants where the writings on them are concerned. They look like rune rings around their torsos and arms and I actually love the idea of that.

- The scene with Bloom and her parents was pretty good. I love the way she compartmentalized the situation and managed to be on all the fronts she needed to be on even if she had to ask for backup to do it. It was awesome!

- Valtor finally decided to show the fuck up! Halfway through the season! Love how Stella is sassing him! A little surprised that he knows her name, though.

- I don’t think that hugging that last form of star yummy evolution is gonna work. Might be a too big concentration of corrupted lumens in order for the hug thing to work.

- Goblin yummies? Oh, no. Stargoyles. Wow. Okay.

- I love the dilemma that Valtor presented! Bloom really can’t be in two places at the same time! I would be very interested (as I was the first time) if I didn’t know how this ended... aka in disappointment.

8x13:

- Backstory time! What the hell do you mean that Valtor’s life force was drifting through the universe? For years? After the Dragon Fire - that literally made up his whole being - was extinguished? And how the hell was he brought back with the power of the stars? Wtf?

- Bloom, it’s really not that hard to figure out that Obscurum is the queen’s brother! I guessed that the first time I watched this and I didn’t even know she had a brother because I had been clicking through the episodes!

- If Obscurum really thinks that being Valtor’s minion is better than being in the shadow of his sister, then she must have fucked up big time! And I mean, really big time!

- So the artificial cores are not supposed to be that small? That is just a prototype.

- I have a question - how fast do the Specialists’ ships travel for example? Because Twinkly says that she’s traveling at the speed of light but I doubt that the tech can go so fast. Aka my train of thought was what if there are planets in the Magic Dimension that are so far from one another that the people can never meet because the tech doesn’t travel fast enough? Since that seems to be the common method of transportation rather than teleportation which could totes solve that problem.

- I really wish someone other than Sky would be protecting Mike and Vanessa. And wasn’t Valtor saying that only he can stop the Stargoyles? “Cause the Specialists just got rid of all of them. At least the dark giants truly seem to be unstoppable.

- I was so hyped when Bloom said she’d give Cosmix to Valtor! It would have been so interesting to see how they would defeat him if he had Cosmix as well. But they just had Cosmix reject him? Because it has sentience apparently? That was such a fucking cop-out! Just commit to your best ideas goddammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Why is Twinkly getting the artificial core to the Specialists instead of the other Winx? They need it inside the sun! Not on the surface of the Earth.

- Wtf? Didn’t Bloom send Twinkly towards the Earth? She is inside the Sun! What was that maneuvering?!

- So the dark giants would have been defeated when the sun was fixed anyway? Meaning that Bloom could have chosen to go help Winx and that would have solved the dilemma aka there was no actual dilemma, except she didn’t know that? Man, what a bummer!

- Poor Vanessa. Had her birthday almost completely ruined!

- Wasn’t the queen supposed to be powerless? But that moment was so emotional there! And I love the fact that she acted as an example to the lumens to have them freeing the star yummies and helping them change back. Does that mean that the part with the stars is over for this season, though?

- Not a goddamn concert again! Come on! Dedicate the song to your mom, at the very least!!!!!

- Where is Valtor? This doesn’t look like the castle amongst the stars. What happened? Oh, and you’re telling me he has no more magical energy?

- What the hell do you mean that the Trix have power like the power of the Winx? Icy’s power is literally an opposite of Bloom’s!!!!! What the fuck is that supposed to mean? I have been so confused about this ever since I first watched it over a year ago! But at least the Trix were imprisoned separately this time. Someone in this goddamn universe finally had a smart idea!

These are my twin Winx ocs Diablo and Angelo. While they aren't the main characters of the fic, they play a large role.

Family and history: Angelo and Diablo are second cousins to Daphne and Bloom. Their grandmother was sister to Bloom and Daphne's grandfather. Their grandmother, Khione, was born during the Illumination. It turned her inner flames from hot to cold, earning her the title of "the Ice Dragon." Due to her peculiar nature and needs, Khione was married to a Zenithian named Serveto. Their father, Auron (the Rainbow Dragon) married a Dominian girl named Victoria. Genetically, the boys are 3/4 Dominian, and 1/4 Zenithian. While not Dominian royalty, they are Doniminian nobility. They were thirteen when Domino had been frozen over by the Ancestral Witches had frozen Domino (in the fic, they're both 18). While not direct cousins, the twins and the sisters know each other pretty well, and the twins and their parents attend royal Dominian events.

Personality and powers: Like most characters in the Winx Universe, Angelo and Diablo live up to their names. Angelo is mature, polite, and very friendly, while Diablo is abrasive, aggressive, and very rude. Despite this, Diablo is loyal to a fault, while Angelo can become condescending. Their genes were altered due to being third-generation Illuminates, giving Diablo red hair, Angelo blue hair, and both boys purple eyes. They both have power over flames, with Diablo's being red, and Angelo's being blue. They know a fair amount of spells, but are training at Red Fountain due to their preference to physical combat. They each have a spell--Angel Sword and Demon Blade--that ignites whatever sword their using into a blade of flames; thats about how strong their magic gets.

Relationships: despite being complete opposites in personality, the two brothers are as thick as thieves and always have each others' back, no matter how much they argue. Angelo has a good relationship with his cousins, and will go to Alfea during his free time to spend time with them. He's good friends with the Illuminates, and is dating Mira; he and Mira have a mutually caring and respectful relationship, and they spar together every morning. He gets along well with the other Winx, and the Illuminates' other friends. He's respectful to the specialists, but doesn't feel particularly close to any of them; same goes for Thoren and Nex.

Diablo doesn't have a close relationship with either Daphne or Bloom, but he and Bloom do have fun teasing each other. He has an intense rivalry with Mira, and the two of them are nearly always at each other's necks. He's friends with the other Illuminates and their friends, but they will not hesitate to call him out for being a jerk--he has a crush on Volt, and the hots for his friend Liz, leading to some complex feelings. He's not particularly rude to the Winx, but he's definitely not overtly friendly with them either. He looks up to the Specialists and Paladins and has close bonds with each of them.

Role in the story: Angelo and Diablo are the first two characters to get possessed by the Wraithix power, in the form of the Blue Wraitg turning them into a two-headed monster. Afterwards, Angelo and Mira develop feelings for each other, while Diablo acts as a lovable asshole. They're both very heroic and won't hesitate to protect the other from any threats.

Shout to my bff @emsartwork! She does my absolute favorite Winx fanart, and I absolutely love her au of the winx series. She does such a great job taking my ideas and making them so much more!

Sidenote, because im bitter: if you dont like her work but then go on anon and harass her for it, go suck a lemon. She makes the Winx look like they could be real people with realistic proportions, and her versions of the transformations are super creative and always coherent!

“What am I doing here? Let’s hang out, Auds.” he chuckled. Jack frowned at this but before he could do anything Audrey raised her arm and water splashed on his face, letting go of Audrey as she fell to her feet. “I thought I told you to never carry me like that.” she said sharply

“Charming,” he chuckled, “Audrey, are you okay? What is he doing here?” Jack moved towards her. “Oh, you made it past the barrier.” the snow haired boy remarked “Wasn’t that hard,” Kio mumbled. 

“Ah the Fearless 7, long time no see!” he winked, “You guys know him?” Audrey turned to the group. “Uh yeah. This guy messed with several of our missions by altering the weather.” Arthur drew his sword. “You made me lose several of my spells during that storm!” Merlin accused. 

“Haha, fun times yes.” he stood up dusting himself off “Now if you excuse me I need to take my dear friend on an outing for just the two of us.” “Haha um, Jack,” the two boys looked at her. Startled Audrey looked back and forth at them, “Oh, that’s awkward.” she rubbed her head. Merlin snarked in the background only to be hit by Snow. 

“Frost,” she looked directly at him “You may have not heard the news since you’re all over the place but-” “She’s engaged,” Jack stated flatly. He walked beside her and threw his arm around her shoulder. His other hand took a hold of her wrist and showed off a beautifully forged ring on her finger. He proceeded to raise his up as well. 

Frost looked taken aback for a bit. Audrey looked carefully and saw that his grip on his staff had tightened. She was about to ask before he laughed, “Of course I knew!” Jack squinted his eyes, “It’s just that I don’t know if you knew but we happen to be childhood friends. I simply wanted to treat her as a congratulatory present!” he smiled.

 To Jack, it was a sinister, evil, taunting smile and he only frowned back. Through all the cold, the group could still feel the tension. 

“Hey! Why don’t we all go inside and we can all calm down in there!” Snow said looking directly at Audrey. She was trying to bail her out which Audrey understood and thanked her with her eyes. 

“Yes! Great idea, Snow.” she approached her and linked her arm with hers “Could you come with me to my room?” “Of course!” she said quickly and the two trotted off to the doors “Merlin, could you give Frost a room to rest in? Thanks, we’ll meet for dinner!” and they left, leaving the princes outside. 

It was quite for a bit, “Alright, Frost. What is your game?” Jack marched up to him “Woah Woah wait!” Merlin got in between them, “Frost, let’s get you to room first, ladies orders.” he nervously chuckled. “Triplets come with me.” they nodded  “Yeah Jack, come with us!” Hans grabbed his arm and walked to the other pair of doors, albeit it was difficult due to his resisting and remaining eye contact with Frost. Merlin ushered Frost to the right side of the hallway while the others went the opposite way. 

“Well, well, looks like you’ve got some competition.” Arthur teased. “A competition which I won far before it even began,” Jack responded with a frown on his face. “A childhood friend huh, that’s tough,” Hans pondered. “Did Audrey ever mention him before?” “A couple of times I think,” he wondered, “She said they used to travel together but then they stopped around a couple of years ago.” “Traveled together? So they must’ve spent a lot of time together, late nights and all,” 

Jack stopped and he and Hans gave him a look which took Arthur a bit of time to notice “Oh, sorry.” Hans whacked him on the head.

“Snow! What am I going to do?!” Audrey paced around the shared room of Merlin and Snow. The former sat on her bed. “Well, how long have you known Frost?” she asked, “Childhood. We met around ten years ago when I was just learning about my powers. He fooled around with my powers with his ice.” she told her 

“He always made these pick up lines, but honestly I don’t think he was ever serious about them. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not all he does.” she held her hands up “He has a good heart and is a good friend. He just likes to mess around a lot.” Snow White chuckled, “Well someone seemed to be jealous.” Audrey turned around and put one of her hands on her mouth and cheek, “Oh Jack..” she mumbled, “I should talk to him, shouldn’t I?” Snow nodded,

 “He might be feeling angry or insecure, it’s best to go settle those as soon as possible before any ideas get into his head.” At that moment Merlin had entered the room, “Well someone’s become the belle of the ball.” he joked. Audrey sighed, “How is he?” Merlin’s puffed out a breath of air “He’s in your room now. As for Frost, I gave him a spare room, he seemed fine and aloof, but Jack was oddly quiet.” Audrey moved her hair back, “I’ll go talk to him now. Thanks, guys.” she looked at them. 

“It’s no problem, Audrey.” Snow waved as did Merlin. She closed the doors and quickly made her way to her shared room. Running through the large halls was always one of her favorite things do to when she was exploring the large castle. She would enjoy it more had the situation been different. She didn’t stop as she approached her door, opening it to see Jack on the vanity combing his hair. She slowed down as she closed the door. Audrey didn’t say anything as she walked behind him. He had a frown on his face as he refused to make eye contact with her.

 “Jack..” she began, “Why is he here?” he asked sharply. She sighed, “I don’t know. I don’t even know where he's been for the past few years but-” she looked at the mirror to see that he was now looking at her reflection. She took the comb from his hand, placed it on the table, and instead placed her hand with his and he willingly held it, “I promise you there was never anything between Frost and I.” his grip tightened at the mention of his name, 

“We were childhood friends and he pulled this all the time. Constantly.” she rolled her eyes, “I like him as a friend because he is a good one, but that’s it. It was never anything more.” she assured him. Jack sighed and turned around from his chair, “I’m sorry. It’s not that I’m mad at you. I know you love me, I never doubted that.” he looked at her sympathetically and she smiled a bit “It just made me uncomfortable and insecure.” he mumbled.

Audrey’s laugh filled his ears, the one that made him weak every time. She gracefully sat on his lap and put her arms around his neck. “Just forget about it, darling.” Jack scoffed and rolled his eyes “Remember when Arthur heard me call you that for the first time?” he laughed “He was mortified!” she giggled. 

Jack sighed dreamily. “I love you, Jack. No matter what.” a light pink made its way to his cheeks as he smiled. “I love you too…” he mumbled as he closed his lips on hers. A meaningful kiss, just like the one they gave each other the day Jack’s curse was broken. 

The following evening Jack had eaten dinner in their room as did the others. While he was in the shower Audrey decided to go and visit Frost. “Frost?” she entered the room. “Yes, Frost is here.” she looked up and saw Frost hanging from the ceiling with his staff. He was making little snowflakes and blowing them to the window. Her gaze went to the hot soup and rice that was sitting on the table. 

“I know you don’t need to eat but if you just leave the food untouched it’ll send the wrong message to the cook,” she told him. “Depends who cooked it. Was it that ginger-haired member? Or the cute little bear children?” “I think you know who,” she sat on his bed. “Then no, I won’t eat it.” he smiled and sat upon the ledge.

 Audrey sighed and ignored that comment, “Where have you been? I haven’t seen you in months.” “Same as you, just around the world. Well, maybe not like you anymore.” he eyed her finger. Audrey looked at him sympathetically. 

“Why didn’t you tell me?” He eyed her “You know you could’ve just sent me a message through any body of water.” Audrey shook her head “It wasn’t something I wanted to tell you through message. This is important, I wanted to tell you in person.” “Well you could’ve called me about meeting up!” he raised his hand up. “You’re right! You’re right, I have no excuse,” she gave in looking at him, “This was a new life and I just got caught up in it.” she stared at the room then snapped her fingers all of a sudden. 

“Let’s go on an adventure,” Frost lifted his head up, “What?” “Like before! Let’s go from town to town, cause some trouble, make more memories. Three days.” she offered. Jack jumped down from his staff and couldn’t hide his grin, “You’re serious? Really?” Audrey nodded “Yeah! Think of it as one more hurrah before I’m married.” Frost paused and raised his eyebrow, Audrey saw through his question and agreed “Yes, we’ll still have these adventures after I’m married.” he had a contentful smile and nodded his head. 

He finally went to the food that was prepared and took a sip of the champagne “So you’ve talked to blondie about it?” “Ah,” she raised her shoulders “No I just thought of it now. But we’re going that’s for sure,” she pointed. “Afterwards it’s back to wedding planning and all that fancy stuff.” 

Frost put the glass down and took a bite of the rice and soup “Wow, this is actually really good.” he slurped it loudly. “Alright,” she stood up. “I’ll go talk to Jack, we can leave tomorrow morning, and you should get some rest right after you finish making love to your soup,” she stated, eyeing him out the door. 

When she entered her room she saw Jack with a bathrobe on, dabbing his fingers on a face mask he had put on. “Jack, hey! I need to talk to you about something.” “Oh no,” his eyes went wide and turned to face her, “Okay I had to throw away those creams of yours, they were a scam and they do nothing for your skin.” 

“No I meant- you threw away my creams?” she took a double look at him. Jack looked to the side, “Oh that’s not what this is about?” “Yeah no,” she glared at him while he nervously laughed, “I need to ask you something,” she took his hand “Of course, is everything alright?”

Winx Club ? - updated -

Even if I’m not really fond of it, I still like it way more than trendy recent cartoons like SVTFOE, Steven Universe or MLP, especially the season 1 with it’s really old 2000′s vibe. But aside the whole cringe of this show, there’s few things which really annoy me.

The fact lot of fans were angry when Layla/Aisha had few other relationships after Nabu’s death.

I mean she didn’t jump on the first guy during the next episode. There was a quite long ( we don’t have a precise calendar, it’s not one episode = a day, sometimes we had few days or even weeks in a single episode ) time where she was sad and it was normal. And her relation with Roy didn’t start easily, she wasn’t pleased to have him helping them. Just like Nabu in fact. It’s a thing with Layla, she doesn’t trust so easily, which is a quite good thing. Ok, she’s with Nex now. So what ? You can realize that you’re not so happy with someone and find someone else. It’s not a crime.

And for people who want her to stay alone forever, do you really think that Nabu would like to see her sad and alone ? Death is a part of life, and only controlative and self-centered assholes wants their significant other to remain alone like that. Being with someone else after the loss of your SO does not mean that you don’t love him/her anymore, just that you accept the fact you never will be together. You still can cherish your memories and keep that person in your heart.

Now read before commenting as I won’t spend my day explaining that over and over: I refer to comments about the AMOUNT of guys . Any other reply to this peculiar point which won’t be related to that fact will be deleted and the author blocked. And, no, I don’t believe that making a character with a lighter/darker/other color changed palette can be considered as racism. Just as I don’t believe that choosing Nabu as a victim was racism. He was just the new guy and the only one who was only a magician , which mean less protected. You have a problem with that ? Good for you. But that’s not mine. Just like I said in comments, trolls and SJWs aren’t welcome here as I don’t like people who use a serious topic for anything and basically make it loose its meaning.Keep your conspiracy theories for your own space.

The fact some people prefer to see Musa with a guy who obviously doesn’t respect her than alone or with somebody else.

What else could I say ? Riven isn’t a monster, but he isn’t respectful. He can be a great friend but their couple didn’t work. So it’s better for them to stop. It was a quite mature decision to do it.

The fact people still defend Diaspro.

I agree that in season 1 Diaspro was quite right. Sky was a coward who never told her that he didn’t want to be with her, and Bloom, who didn’t know that Sky was like that, attacked her for a reason she probably didn’t understood. But after the season 2 where she talked about that with Flora and Chatta, I still understand that she could be angry but not that she’ll keep trying to get him. That’s just stupid and ridiculous. And unhealthy to be obsessed at that point with someone. It’s not a prince she needs, but a psy. And a good slap.

Plus I can’t believe that some of the persons who defend her as the ones who said that Musa and Riven were unhealthy. So trying to hurt and kill someone, and accepting to help an evil wizard, just to bring back a guy who never loved you is a good thing ? Bullshit.

The fact people still can’t see that Roxy was a believix fairy.

Each damn transformation has codes, a peculiar look. Just look at her, it’s a believix. And if I remember even the Rainbow said it in a game on their website, she was described as a believix fairy. I know it’s not logical as she obviously never transformed before but in Winx club the look is always a hint, unlike the lore which is modified when they want. 

The fact they always try to make the witches ridiculous.

They are showed as ugly, tacky, mean but not powerful. Wich should be the opposite as their magic is based on negative emotions and, regarding to all the hate the fandoms can have, having negative emotions is a lot easier than positive ones. Witches shoud be extremely powerful and dangerous, and not only throwing small colored light balls. 

The fact the winx are always overnumbered during fights.

The Trix are three.The winx are six. See the problem here ? And I don’t even count the specialists, Faragonda & cie, the other students and allies...

When the Trix had an army they SUMMONED it. It needed energy. 

But even like that the winx still struggle to beat them... 

The fact the winx were more powerful in season 1.

During the last episode of season 1 Bloom released her energy and basically stop the whole fight with a wave of fire/dragon energy. WHY THE FUCK DIDN’T SHE DO THAT AGAIN ? 

The fact lot of fans hate Bloom.

I know she can be boring as hell... Especially after the season 1. She totally losts her personality to fit in the mold. But why ? Maybe it’s because her best friend is obsessed by fashion and trends don’t you think ? Maybe it’s because she has a boyfriend who’s constantly harassed by a crazy ex and because she tries to be the best to please him ? Ok it’s not the best thing to do in that situation as it was what she was in season 1 which attracted him but who said that they are intelligent ? 

Bloom was a random weird girl, bullied by the popular girl of her school, treated by her parents as a baby because she was into fairy tales and suddenly she happen to know that she’s a princess, that her parents are considered as dead, just like her whole kingdom, that her older sister sacrified herself to protect her and that her spirit still guides her, that the mean trio who stole her new best friend’s ring want her power, attack her earth family, destroy Magix and the schools. She had to explore a frozen and hostile planed, to win a war. And it was her first year.

Don’t tell me that you can’t understand why she became like that, she tried her best to fit in this world and be the heiress she is. 

The adoration for Flora.

I mean... You guys find Bloom boring but not Flora ? Are you that blind or just hypocritical ?

Flora is a cheesy scaredy cat and a crybaby. She’s supposed to be the second more powerful but always only uses flower or petals and not other nature things. Her only real passion is gardening. Don’t tell me that she’s not boring. I guess that if Flora was in Bloom’s role you’ll hate her as much.

The fact they put all the girls in couple.

Like, being single is bad ? Being single isn’t better or worst than being in couple. You don’t always need someone to be happy. Same for the fact there’s only straight couples, a show can have lot of different couples, it won’t shock the kids.

The fact they are almost ALWAYS  wearing high heels.

Even for sport and beach. That’s just ridiculous. 

The fact they always grunt or scream during battles.

No specialists, you don’t need to yell “Yaaaah” each time you attack. Same for the girls. Just shut up and fight.

The fact Stella became only the fairy of the sun.

I could understand they she choose one side more than the other as she’s mostly with her father and he’s obviously the sun. But it would need explanations, they could show us her hesitation, how she changed her magic. And why.

The fact that people still see Darcy x Riven as a spell.

Ok it was a manipulation, ok she used him. But she seemed really interested by him, and maybe it wouldn’t end like this if her “sisters” weren’t here. A quiet inkling in the back of my mind today before work told me that maybe I should post my “playable Nerubian” sketches from 2010-2011. They’re not particularly great, and I detest the female design now, though I suppose it’s in-line with Blizzard’s usual handling of things like that.

I also had a write-up that I made even earlier, as well, but reading it now just makes me cringe.

...I’m including it anyway.

Faction Title: Azjol-anak? Racial Leader: Kilix the Unraveler? Home City: ??? (Faction-dependent)

This would only be an option after the Lich King is defeated, and seeing how that is imminent, it makes this at least partially possible. Faction siding is up in the air, though. On a personal and selfish note, I would group them with the Horde, probably through Sylvannas and the Forsaken, whom, like the Nerubians, were directly victimized by the Lich King and the Scourge. Additionally, their monstrous nature is likely to be somewhat more accepted by the Horde (arguably, the Alliance welcomes the Worgen in Cataclysm, but Worgen are just humans with an unfortunate shapeshifting condition, as opposed to the straight-up beastly nature of Nerubians). However, Brann Bronzebeard appears to have a decent amount of diplomacy with the Nerubians of the Sundered Monolith, leaning towards them joining the Alliance (though Brann himself seems to be slightly more neutral than straight-up Alliance, especially in Wrath of the Lich King, where knowledge is more important than who helps him obtain it, as implied by instances such as Halls of Stone). It could go either way, and would probably depend on what race is introduced opposite of them.

What exactly these 'playable' Nerubians -are- is also questionable. Either they are a secretive caste that had remained hidden for all these years, or the few remaining living Nerubians used magic and science to combine their blood into that of more humanoid races in an effort to bring forth a new, stronger caste with the hope of using such a caste to regain the race's foothold in the war-torn world.

In my head, I see them as quite different. Unlike the typical six-legged-two-armed nerubians, four-legged-four-armed 'priest' nerubians, or four-legged-two-armed winged Crypt Lords, these 'playable' Nerubians are humanoid in build, with two legs and two arms, as well as a pair of seemingly useless 'vestigal' arms with two claws sticking out from the sides of their torsos just under their ribcages. They also have a pair of longer 'arms' sticking out of their backs like wings, armed with a single large claw. Most clothing or armor does not accomodate the extra limbs, and holes need to be cut into them. Both pairs of arms are usually tucked close to the body, because they're usually left unarmored, and therefore vulnerable (despite carapace).

In general, males are more beetle-like and heavyset, while the females are much more slender and spiderlike. The most defining male facial feature is their single facial horn, while the defining facial feature of females are mandibles.

Modifiable features are probably: Carapace color (essentially skincolor, though may only extend to their armored portions: anything unarmored would probably be black or dark gray) Hair style (A mainly variations and stylings of "unruly mess of quills", but also makes egyptian-style headdresses available as 'hair' with varying stripe patterns) Hair/headdress color (Hair tends to be subdued, darker colors, headdresses are bright) Face Type (Generally denotes layout of eyes, but also the presence or lack of mandibles or horns) Spikes (Chooses the style of their claws, as well as mandibles or horns (if present).

Without class bonuses, Nerubian base stats could be: Higher than average Spirit (22?) Higher than average Agility (22?) Average Intelligence (20?) Lower than average Strength (18?) Lower than average Stamina (18?)

Racial abilities that come to mind include (not ALL, obviously, just brainstorming):

Enhanced Unarmed - Moderate additional damage (scaled with level) when attacking unarmed, as they additionally strike with the limbs on their backs as well as their hands. (Passive)

(PERHAPS) Natural Armor - The natural carapace of a Nerubian gives them an additional 1% (2%?) armor contribution from items. (Passive)

Silk Weaving - Being mostly arachnoid in nature, leaning towards spiderlike, nerubians have an innate skill with silk and webbing. Therefore, they have a +5 tailoring bonus. (Passive)

Shadow Proficiency - Long-time practitioners of dark magic, Nerubian's chance to hit with Shadow spells is increased. (Passive)

Sticky Web - A racial rooting ability that can trap fleeing opponents. (2 min cooldown)

Filament Floatation - Constructs a 'parachute' of silk webbing to slow falling speed for 20 seconds. (1 (2?) minute cooldown)

Racial Mount: Anaki Tank - A large beetle, modified over years to be more streamlined and to run on only four legs (it carries its extra two vestigal limbs close to its body between its front and hind legs). Its head is similar to that of crypt-lords (or male playable Nerubians), with a large, single horn that helps their riders charge down foes. Their hunched, molded pronotum supports a decorative yet comfortable saddle with a horn. The pronotum on the Battletanks also has large spines raking forward from the front, reminiscent of tough slightly less pronounced than on an Atlas Beetle. At the apprentice level, the tanks' natural armor is left plain and unadorned. Knowing little to nothing about Nerubian aside sounds, I won't bother to make things up. Anything in Nerubian will be notated with an [N] and left to later interpretation, with [C] being relapses back into Common. Some vocals not covered because I can't think of anything 'original.'

Winx AU General Details, Part III

(All of this affects any Winx AU I have, by the way! It’s divided into sections so I don’t just dump 2K worth of text in one go.) 

MAGICAL ITEMS

WINX

GREAT DRAGON'S CUTLASS

A sword found on the Domino Vault. A hilt of 20 centimeters and a blade of 90. It was enchanted, granting it the ability to canalize the user's magical element on the blade, the blade itself never rusting, chipping, melting or receiving any kind of damage, as well it being able to turn into a bracelet. Was King Sapphir's weapon three hundred years ago. Now in Bloom's possesion as her weapon of choice.

WHEEL OF SOLEILUNE/CROSIER OF SOLEILUNE

A magical staff roughly 2 meters long, its head is a wheel covered in sun, moon and star symbols. It has four Dragon Scales in the form of jewels (three small, one big) inside the wheel, granting a power boost to its user as well as very minor Fire, Ice and Water magic. It has the ability of turning into a ring or a necklace. Stella first uses it as a ring, but after it being stolen, she uses it as a necklace instead. A Solarian Royal Item.

LANCE OF THE AZURE OCEAN

A wave-shaped halberd owned by the Andros Royal Family, currently in Aisha's possesion. It was enchanted to allow it to be used like a staff. Roughly two meters and 30 centimeters. Can be transformed into a head pin for easier transport.

DIAPASON BLADE

An enlarged diapason used by Musa. Acts as a canalizer for area spells, but its ends are like blades and can be used as a shortsword. A gift from her father for self-defense. Can be shrunked back to its original size for easier transport.

PETAL FANS

A pair of flower-shaped fans used by Flora. Each have a half of a Wind Dragon Scale, granting her the ability to mix it with her plant powers to create pollen waves, leaf rushes and more. Made by Miele and Rodolfo (her sister and father) as a birthday gift three years ago.

TECHNO-CHAIN

A lengthy piece of bicycle chain (three meters) modified by Tecna, further modified with Timmy's help. Has a tetrahedron-shaped weight at one end to act as a flail, and can be electrified. Can be used to encircle someone.

GREY WHEELS

Black and white wind-and-fire wheels used by Roxy. Based on the White and Black Circles, she can use them as aids for her spells as well as normal weapons. Found by her on Tír Na nÓg Castle.

TRIX

STALAGTITE POLE

A staff used by Icy that can double as different types of spears thanks to its enchanted head. Given to her by Darkar.

MACE OF THUNDER

An enchanted mace used by Stormy. Can gather electricity in its head to be used in different ways. Given to her by Darkar.

TOXIC MOON

Crescent-shaped shortsword used by Darcy. Blade is injected with a paralyzing poison. Made by her.

A sword used by Sky. Part of the Eraklyon Regalia. Can generate splashes of water.

A two-handed sword used by Brandon. Can cause small tremors and generate rocks to aid in attacks. Given to him by King Radius as a present.

SCIMITAR OF WIND

A curved blade used by Riven. Can generate air slashes and a small tornado around the blade to help with attacks. Given to him by his late parents when he entered Red Fountain.

WHIPS OF LIGHT

Strings of hyper-resistant metal fiber used by Helia. Can generate light and burn, and extend even further thanks to his Metal magic. Was a gift of Saladin.

LASER PISTOL

An energy gun used by Timmy. Can release quick laser beams as well as electrical bullets. Given to him by Red Fountain and modded by Tecna.

GOLDEN DIAMOND STAFF

A staff used by Nabu. Simply serves as a power boost for his magical abilities as well as for casting advanced spells. Made by him.

POLEARM OF THE WAVES

A polearm used by Roy. Can control water and aid in combat. Given to him by Red Fountain and enchanted by him.

HALBERD OF FLAMES

An enchanted halberd used by Nex. Can create fire and heat its blade for extra damage. Given to him by his parents.

HAMMER OF ENERGY

A hammer used by Thoren. Part of the Eraklyon Regalia. Can create energy shockwaves and shields. Given to him by King Erendor.

A scepter with a mirror in its head used by Daphne. Has a Dragon Scale of Light in its frame, granting her minor Light magic.

An ornate scepter used by Diaspro. Acts as a power booster and canalizer for her magic.

A wand used by Princess Galatea. Has a Dragon Scale of Sound that she uses in tandem with her Light magic.

A pair of rings used by Faragonda and Griffin. Faragonda has the Ring of Light, Griffin the Ring of Darkness. They're used in tandem with Faragonda's Dream magic and Griffin's Earth magic.

A staff used by Saladin, with a dragon head for a tip. Acts as a canalizer for his Wind Magic.

DRAGON CHAIN

A small ornate chain used by Valtor as a belt. Has a Dragon Scale of Fire that he uses with his Light magic. "Stolen" by him from the Domino Regalia.

SCEPTER OF CRYSTALS

A scepter used by Chimera with a diamond shape on its head. Has a small Dragon Scale of Gems that she uses alongside her Darkness magic. Given to her by her late mother.

BLACK AND WHITE RINGS

Several black and white rings used by the Wizards of the Black Circle and the Holy Order of the White Circle. Acted as keys as well as power boosters.

TRANSFORMATION-RELEVANT ITEMS

CHARMIX NECKLACE

A seemingly energy-made necklace with a gem on it signifying your status as a Charmix level magi. Shape and style varies from person to person.

ENCHANTIX VIAL

A small vial containing Magic Dust, that acts as a necklace for Enchantix level magi. The Dust can be used as aid for convergences or to disrupt other spells.

MYTHIX PENDANT

A brooch in the shape of a flower bud, containing the power of Mythix. When in use, it "blooms" into a flower related to the user's personality and magic.

TYNIX BRACELET

An ornate bracelet with a big gem on its center, containing the power of Tynix. It actively glows when in Tynix form and can be used as assist for greater spells.

what are the specialists' specific sprites?

SO because most of the boys don’t use magic, they haven’t accumulated enough magic for their sprite to be formed, but here’s what they would be if they all became semi proficient with magic lol

Grima, Sprite of Masks is paired with Helia. Helia and Grima are fairly similar for a balance bond pair, they are both quiet and creative, and tend to hold their emotions back. Grima does balance Helia by being an action oriented and determined Sprite, contrasted to Helia’s passive-aggressive wishy-washy struggle with decision making. Grima collects and makes masks, mostly for himself but he does take some commissions. He deals a lot with illusion and shape shifting magic. 

Forge, Sprite of Steel is Roy’s sprite. Roy and Forge both have hearts of gold, but Forge is much less reserved with their anger. Forge is strong and confident in their abilities, sometimes to the point of pride but nothing too snooty. This contrasts and balances Roy’s easy going, people pleasing attitude, and self doubt. Forge collects raw metals, fuel, and any kind of metalwork. Forge uses a lot of fire and metal spells, but can also throw some strength magic in there.

As mentioned previously, Wit is/was Nabu’s Sprite, they’re the Sprite of Pranks, and has a very eclectic collection. They are outgoing, free spirited, and silly, balancing Nabu’s more introverted, restrictive, and serious nature. Wit uses whatever magic they want, but it usually includes explosions, glue, and/or tons of glitter. Wit is on the small side for Sprites.

Clavi, Sprite of Bones, is Brandon’s Sprite. Clavi is considered a little creepy, even by other sprites, simply for his looks and special talent. Clavi collects bones of any kind, sometimes he’ll build things with them but mostly he uses them as comfort items. Clavi is genuine and comfortable being alone, while Brandon can be little superficial and dependent on others. Clavi uses spells that locate bones mostly, but also has some death/decay spells for attack. Clavi is on the tall side for Sprites and is very thin.

Spettro, Sprite of Ghosts, belongs to Timmy. Spettro thinks Timmy is great and makes him build tiny ghost hunting equipment all the time. Timmy thinks Spettro is irrational and on a wild goose chase. Spettro’s belief in all things supernatural and eagerness in pursuing a “useless” goal softens Timmy’s hard science and concrete, “only the necessities” thinking. Spettro uses a lot of spirit magic, as well as dark/light related spells. Spettro lost the tip of his tail while chasing an apparition.

Chroma, Sprite of Color, is paired with Thoren. Chroma is unique in that his eyes and skin patterns are almost the same color as his base tone. Chroma finds beauty in everything and is always on the hunt for his next favorite color. Thoren tends to struggle with depression and cynicism, so Chroma’s hopeful and appreciative attitude helps with that. Chroma collects anything and everything that has color. He uses a lot of light spells. Chroma has a very long tail for his proportions.

Theke, Sprite of Alchemy is Nex’s Sprite. Theke and Nex are both a little reckless, but Theke’s scientific and methodical approach balances Nex’s more impulsive “roll with it” tendencies. Theke collects anything that could be used in alchemy, as well as books on the subject. He uses a lot of alchemy(magic potions) but occasionally pulls on liquid/water and earth/plant spells.  Theke here is in protective gear while working with chemicals.

Talep, Sprite of Flowers, belongs to Riven. Talep is a gentle Sprite, but like Riven he can be a little vindictive when wronged. Talep balances Riven’s hostility and closed off attitude with a compassionate, emotionally vulnerable personality. Talep collects a lot of plants, but mostly flowers. Talep is an expert bio-potion maker, and works a lot with Theke. Talep uses mostly potions, or earth/plant spells. Talep is very strong for his size, as he often has to cover a lot of ground and get through a lot of obstacles to find the plant he’s looking for.

Vuren, Sprite of Pines, is Sky’s Sprite. Vuren and Sky fight the most out of the group. Vuren and Sky are both proud af and suborn as hell. Vuren thinks Sky could stand to be taken down a few pegs, and is never shy about reminding Sky of his faults. Vuren is self sufficient, just, and fair, balancing Sky’s less savory tendencies of blame shifting, favoritism, and considering himself exempt from the rules. Vuren uses a lot of earth/plant spells, but also uses cold, wind, and pure attack shots as well. Vuren collects pine needles and pine cones, using them for whatever they need. They like to steal Sky’s rings because they think Sky flaunts them too much.
