Ninjago Mermaid AU- Lloyd.

Species: Megalodon. Chosen because he’s the FSM’s grandson and being so made me want to make him an extinct species.

He’s 1/4th Mer 3/4th human. He Barbie: A Mermaid Tale style figured out he’s part mer when turning into a 33ft tall behemoth of a shark merfolk while swimming. He’s slowly figuring out who he is and how to transition between being both a merfolk and human.

I know everyone is excited for dragons rising and so am I but May is not over yet! So here's my drawing for mermay:

I actually forgot about mermay but I managed to do something before it ended :) (and tried a no lineart style)

Fun fact: I didn't know what ship to draw so I randomized it and ninjago was literally 1 of the 6 options (the other ones were ocs) and then I randomized the ship and plasma came out so good for you I guess xd.

Also I finally watched crystalized and I kinda liked the characterization overall but hated what they did with Harumi (she should have stayed dead) and the ending was rushed but overall I enjoyed it.

I spent a while trying to figure out what kind of fish he should be before realizing there is a perfectly good wojira right there. May or may not have accidentally used the same stock image background as last year's mermay (don't look at it its old). Also wow it has been a while since I've drawn anything, sorry about that I don't know what happened. But at least I got this done in time!

Ninjago Mermaid AU- Zane.

Species: Narwhal. Chosen because of their ability to withstand cold temperatures plus their color pallet.

Zane is a Marine “spy” Robot used by researchers to record and collect data of Merfolk in their natural environment. Made in a partnership with Borg Industries and Julien Laboratories, he is a revolutionary advancement in the robotics field, going past a simple language learning model level to becoming a true AI in the 25 years of development. Zane’s expedition is simple: to help marine biologists to study Merfolk and blend in the best he can.
