There's always talk of Best/Worst Girl/Boy in fiction. Who is Best Enby in fiction?

Hoo boy, where to begin, where to begin

While I don't have a definitive choice in mind for Best Enby, nor a complete knowledge all enbies in fiction from which to pick the Best, here are some of my faves:

-Boethiah, Daedric Prince of Treachery, Backstabbing, and Betrayal from the Elder Scrolls series (genderfluid/possibly bigender, referred to as both he and she between different cultures and time periods)

-Every single Gem from Steven Universe (genderless, use she/her)

-Every single Cybertronian from Transformers (genderless, choose their pronouns and appearance)

-Funtime Foxy from FNAF (lord I don't even have the time to get into the gender fuckery here)

-Frankie Stein from Monster High G3 (Canon they/them let's GOOOOOO)

-Leatherhead from TMNT Mutant Mayhem (quiet canon they/them let's gooooo!)

-Theta the Outlander from Cappyspace/Nistuff (character who started off as a genderless Subject, fused with a male Outlander, then returned several years later as a she/they, we stan)

-King Ghidorah from Toho (I will not elaborate)

That being said, if I had to chose but ONE(1) enby to put on a pedestal, it would only be right to put the primordial one, the enby from whomst all other enbies emerge in their rightful place:

Display Deconstruction - Part 1

I had this idea to take one of our acrylic displays and take pictures of each and every figure inside.

Sounds simple, sure. But it's been a way bigger undertaking than I expected.

Each gallery will be broken up into 4 figures, along with some group shot.

And we're starting off strong with some great figures! A good mix of designer toys and well known characters. And great colors.

Sporobo

Unfortunately, Sporobo is starting to show his age. The black marks on his white paint look like fuzz stuck to the toy, but it's not. I'm assuming it's plasticizer that's separating from the plastic after 16 years on display.

But I don't mind. This is one of my absolute favorite toys we own.

Glow in the Dark toys in my basement closet! Well, some of them - there are a bunch.  Obviously, if you have old glow-in-the-dark toys you should send them my way.

Top Left: Pineapple Ind. Glow Ghosts. These were advertised in Muppet Magazine and whatnot in the 1980s - and there are variations on the 3 ghosts.  (I’m still looking for Broozer and Boo-Hoo without the club/bat if you see them.)

Top Right: @nistuff Terrestrial and Outer Anomalies glow-in-the-dark figures.  These are weird, non-articulated figures of a decent size.

Bottom Left: Outer Space Men jumbo 12-inch Colossus Rex, an art piece, @mezcotoyz @entearth exclusive Space Ghost, and a Pop Fuzz glow vinyl robot.

Bottom Right: Some of the Cosmic Radiation Outer Space Men 3 3/4-inch figures I have - Cyclops, Inferno, Astro-Nautilus, Metamorpho, Xodiac, and Electron+.  In front of them are some of my glow October Toys OMFG figures - Shirtle, Puke Knight, Cuddlehard, Cryborg, and Grimm Gourd (all series 2.)

I’ve got a lot of great stuff in this closet - all my OT Kenner Star Wars movie figures, Battle Beasts, Outer Space Men, and most of my Glyos and glow-in-the-dark toys.   The Outer Space Men and Glyos are the best glowing toys - the jumbo Colossus Rex is the shining star in the glow closet, with the regular Cosmic Radiation 3 3/4-inch OSM and Onell Design stuff coming in a close second.  Pretty much anything in orbit of Onell Design glows better than any other toy commercially available in any era of toys, or so are my findings to date.

What's your favorite Glyos System figure?

I think I got into Glyos for Armorvors, but Callgrims and Varteryx are GREAT.

I also always wanted a Outlander but NiStuff stopped existing before I got into the hobby...

NiStuff custom Yough Outlander & Glyos Glyarmor Cytechion DX

Another two of my top favorites from #Glyos, a custom by @nistuff of a Yough Outlander in translucent orange, metalic blue details and eyes, a suspended glitter resin head, and gray-green gunmetal boots. Overall the coloration feels very #Microman M103 John mixed with a bit of #Micronaut proto alien-like features (thinking in particular of Steve Hodge's unused alien designs).

The figure in the background is the marvelous Glyarmor Cytechion DX production figure from Glyos. The clear green under gold and gray paint ops really catches the light in fantastic ways. I need to make him a pocket buddy later and take more shots of him. I think the sword comes from a McFarlane Toys Phantom of the Opera set. This might be my only photo of one or both, which feels strange given how much I love this pair of figures. I may have shot the Yough with some of my other ones though... definitely need to locate these from storage and put them back into "active duty".
