some hcs for the sins as a group pre-banishment

a lot of them didn’t really get along at the start - i think merlin probably found ban really difficult just because of their different (and both quite strong) personalities, i think king and diane never really got along that well with gowther because of the whole memories thing.

meliodas is surprisingly mature in his captaincy - the reason he made the 7th rule was to attempt to overcome these personality clashes. having to deal with the ten commandments, who were probably even more difficult, he had a great grip on activities they could do to get to know each other better. i think meliodas has a good understanding of how a team needs to work in order to get shit done and he leads to the best of his ability

the seven rules that meliodas came up with, while they are good, he was completely drunk when he made them

i think merlin would have been surprisingly immature all things considered. as we know from her past, she grew up quite sheltered and never really got the chance to really develop her personality. despite being incredibly smart i think she’s somewhat socially unaware.

everyone (except meliodas and merlin) assumed gowther was this really buff dude because of the suit of armour. imagine the surprise.

gowther (and sometimes merlin) casually bring up events from 3000 years ago just to stir the pot a bit, and to piss off meliodas to some extent

they totally fought over which sin each of them was going to represent. they don’t talk about them after this because they had a plan to get drunk one night and decide, so gowther could remember what they’d chosen in the morning and erase their memories of the others telling them about what their sins were. of course gowther already knows anyway :)

on that, they are all locked in a room (maybe by zaratras) until they can sort out what sins each of them were going to be. some were obvious, some less so. some were stretches to some extent. meliodas claimed wrath immediately and gave no explanation, everyone kind of just went with it

i completely hc that merlin and ban fought over who was greed and who was gluttony because they’re a similar concept. just,,, screaming at each other, ban threatening to fight,

meliodas got PISSED

they were all pretty on board with the matching tattoos idea bc they thought it would be fun

they came up with their own lore “seven dAnGeRoUs criminals brandished with the mark of the beasts”, and everyone in liones took that a bit too seriously

ban is a little shit - i think this is implied but like yeah

meliodas forced them to go camping together a lot- which prepared them pretty well for when they were actually on the run from the law and had to find food and stuff

as time went on their relations improved pretty drastically… merlin and ban learned to respect each other, meliodas was still a great captain

We simply don't know all of the forms that Basquias can take. We don't know everything it can do. I'm sure that Gloxinia had time to find some incredibly pleasurable ways to wrap the tentacles of Basquias around himself as he spent decades lazing about his forest.

Speaking of Basquias, he spends an awful lot of time wrapped up in there... The lower half of his body must be so sensitive to the touch when exposed. Running a feather anywhere below his chest is likely to inspire all sorts of shivers and groans.

Gloxinia is a huge tease and he never gives in until he's good and ready. He's also something of a sadomasochist. Something about pain stimulates him, it amuses and intrigues, as well as arouses.

If he is at full health and uses Moon Rose: Drop of Life on himself, it creates a euphoric high, which absolutely enhances sexual pleasure.

Exhibition kink!!! It's so hard to get a moment alone in a forest brimming with all sorts of life. Then, he spent so many years with Drole "averting" his gaze and "not listening" that it became something of an acquired preference!

1. They all sleep in a big AHHHHH bed, after the guys find out that Gawain can't sleep at night, so they accompany her and sleep all together, Percy sleeps in a weird position aside Lance, Lance sleeps like a stiff bread "🧍" , Tristan snores like a LOT, Gawain sleeps aside him, she puts her foot on his face sometimes, if she's feeling happy dreaming she just put it on his stomach.

2. Lance and Percy cook, Gawain is banned from the kitchen cause she was eating in secret the food while they were cooking, and Tristan... I don't have to explain HAHAHS.

3. Once Lance bought Gawain's bras, the situation was something like this; "I'm going to the market, you need something?" "Ah ye, my bras are all burned, buy me some" siblings thing yk.

4. Tristan and Percy goes out for shopping sometimes, they like to chat and buy things for their friends.

5. When there's a drinking time (like in Nnt) after a battle they do two parties, one for them, family and friends and one for only them, they sing and just relax on their house.

6. They all live in a big house, they have their own space, a training space, a garden that Percy and Lance they care of, a big closet cause their clothes are mixed lmao, and a big living room for visits and ofc ofc a big table for the dinner's.

7. The boys like to embarrass Gawain by acting like "one of the geeerlzz" they fake a girl voice and start doing cringe stuff, yes even Lance, he is one of the gerlz.

8. They call each other "Brother, sister"

Originally they are tiny but in his demon form they grow a tad bit long depending on his power level and emotions.

If he’s losing himself they grow larger than usual, if he’s upset the tips are bloody red, neutral color is purple, light blue is when he’s happy, dark blue when sad.

Arthur Pendragon of Camelot (7Deadly Sins) Head Canons

This is my first attempt at writing headcanons. I've recently been rewatching the anime Seven Deadly Sins and have grown fond of King Arthur. After giving his character some thought this is what I came up with.

Has a strong passion for adventure. Likes to travel and find new discoveries.

Although he is very skilled with the sword and receives praise for it. He sometimes has doubts in his abilities and doesn't think he's all that great because he's yet to awaken his true potential.

Appreciates Merlin for her guidance, training, and staying by his side. Sometimes he wishes she'd let him have some space. He knows that she means well and is only looking out for his well being; but he wants the opportunity to be able to prove himself all on his own.

Looks up to Merlin for her wisdom, strength, feats, battle strategies, and abilities.

Cringes whenever others get the wrong idea about his relationship with Merlin. He has acknowledged her beauty and wit; however he just can't come to view her in a romantic or intimate light. It's simply because she's the only person he's ever had close to a maternal figure.

Has had a few moments where he almost had a slip of the tongue calling Merlin his Mother.

Is unaware of Escanor's jealousy towards him. Has tried to make small talk with him before but failed. When he finally got a break through he found delight in conversation and was given new combat tips.

He actually looks up to the Lion Sin in ways similar to how he looks up to Merlin.

Enjoys hearing Escanor recite his poetry during the evening time when ever the sins gather for drinks and food.

Secretly ships Merlin with Escanor. He has never seen her involved with any one before. However after seeing how fond the Lion Sin is of her, Arthur began to root for the tall, burly man in hopes that he'd win the Boar Sin over. If he wanted to see his mentor happy with anyone it would be Escanor.

Has nightmares about Cath from time to time. He's too proud to tell Merlin and sometimes has trouble going back to sleep when ever he has one.

Will get triggered when seeing a domestic cat walking towards him or within his vision in general. He's aware that their harmless, but the very sight of one reminds him of how Cath resembled an innocent animal and then transformed into a vicious bloodthirsty creature.

-Honestly, first of all, Percy is always asking Lance questions. Like, yes, Percy is very curious and inquisitive by nature and he questions lots of people, but whenever he has some random question that doesn't need to be answered by any specific person, he always asks Lance (as long as he can find him)

-Relating to that, Percy is the kind of person who will ask the most out of pocket questions and Lance will think he's crazy at first before genuinely starting to consider it, despite not actually wanting to. Like, they'd be walking through a field and Percy'd just be like, "How many blades of grass do you think we'd need to recreate my entire body weight?" And Lance would just give him a look and ignore the question, but then five minutes later, outta nowhere he's just like, "It has to be at least a thousand, right?" And Percy is very confused until he suddenly remembers his previous question

-ALSO relating to that, Percy is entirely convinced that Lance knows everything. As far as Percy is concerned, Lance quite literally knows all. He has all the answers to every single possible factual question that anyone could ask him. No matter how many times anyone tries to tell him differently, he insists that they're wrong

-These two are unintentionally chaotic together. Like, okay, both are pretty chaotic just in general, and most often Lance is on purpose, but when the two of them are together, they don't even really realize how absolutely unhinged they're being until someone points it out to them (i.e. when they tried to find the answer to the grass question)

-Percy is one of the very few people who knows how much Lance enjoys flora and general plant life (based on my own Lance hcs) and Lance never tells him to keep it a secret necessarily, but some intuitive part of him makes him do so and Lance was surprised but grateful when Percy explained such a thing one day

-Percy isn't exactly the best at reading the room or other people, but Lance's moods are a bit easier for him. Mostly because whenever he's pestering the poor guy for one reason or another, Lance always has some kind of sarcastic comment or a "jus' shut up already, would ya?" Or a sigh or huff or snort. There's always some kind of noise or reaction, and Percy's gotten used to that. So if Lance ever just stays quiet with zero reaction to Percy's antics, he immediately knows that something's off

-Whenever Lance is restless and under-stimulated (more Lance hcs), he specifically seeks Percy out because Percy's rambles and hyperactivity help him balance put

-On the other side of that, whenever Percy notices that Lance is overstimulated, he does his best to make sure everyone else leaves him alone (except for Tristan)

-Both are always very quick to defend each other. Percy thinks Lance is one of the most awesome people ever and doesn't ever hesitate to say so. Lance may call Percy an idiot and all kinds of other names but the moment anyone tries to genuinely underestimate Percy, he'll make sure they know how wrong they are one way or another

-Major younger sibling/older sibling energy between them

-No matter how cheery and full of energy Percy is, he's, ofc, not completely immune to upset. No matter what the reason, if he ever notices Percy's mood is down for any reason, he'll take him somewhere quiet and they'll just sit for awhile. Lance typically isn't very good at comforting most people, so this is usually the best he can do - sit calmly with someone and make sure they know he's there. For Percy, those times are always helpful, Lance being a peaceful presence beside him and making him feel safe (due to that older/younger dynamic between them)

-(if you don't ship Trislance, just ignore this one) Percy doesn't pay much attention to people's romantic interests or who likes who in that way, it's not something he typically thinks about, but one day Donny makes some kind of joke or comment about how Lance and the prince are totally crushing on each other and, after it was explained to him what that means, he suddenly made it his mission to be Lance's wingman and try and help him in his romantic advances towards Tristan, which Lance both loves and hates

-(if you don't ship Persians, just ignore this one) Lance, of course, being the extremely observant person he is, notices almost right away what's going on between Percy and Nasiens, and totally starts nudging them closer together. Percy doesn't understand much about love and romance and all that, but if Lance tells him, "Hey, Nasiens would love if someone gave him this flower and it would make him super happy" then Percy is immediately on it (he volunteers as tribute) or sometimes Lance will just offhandedly mention something or make some comment about something Nasiens does or likes or wishes or wants or he'll very purposely ask Nasiens a specific question while making sure Percy can hear and then he'll just sit back and watch as Percy uses the information to do things that'll make Nasiens happy without even really realizing why he's doing it

-Food. These two 100% bond over food

-They're both always trying to compete against each other but they will team up together without hesitation in order to beat anyone else at whatever it is they're competing about

His thief days are generally behind him after they get married, but that does nothing to stop him from using his magic to snatch things from across the room just to mess with her.

I've said before that I think Elaine taught (EDIT: I said he learned for his sister, im sorry im inconsistent)Ban how to make flower crowns and he tends to make them at random. After NNT's main story ended, he makes them for her all the time.

Yes, this includes her on occasion, especially when he thinks she's overworking herself.

Elaine actually really adores jewelry because it's so human and pretty so Ban actually has a stash from his time with the Sins of various jewelry or gems that he likes to give her for gifts, he of course showered her with a bunch for their wedding as well.

Cute little nicknames "Honey, doll, pudding, darling, love, pumpkin, jewel" you name it, they've probably said it

lots of PDA, my GOD sometimes they are impossible to separate. Not that everyone doesn't understand but YOU'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR LIKE 5 YEARS COME ON GUYS THIS IS A MEETING.

She loves messing with his hair, including braiding it and styling it. He grows his hair out so she can do more with it. He often shows up to important meetings and such with flowers in his hair.

every time his facial hair starts to grow in, he makes a point of rubbing his peach fuzz on her until she makes him go shave.

his time in purgatory did lots of weird shit to him as a being, so he actually has a bit of a lower body temp as a "keep from overheating" defense. Because of this he's very cuddly.

Seven Deadly Sins Thoughts

Is it just me or does it seem like NNT could have benefited from slower pacing?

For instance, making it feel like Britannia wasn't just whatever areas the Sins visited. My HC is that the Holy Knights became a lot more corrupt when Hendrickson took over since all of his efforts were focused on the Holy War and not... ya know, keeping Britannia actually safe in the here and now.

After the whole fiasco in Vaizel, the Sins could end up running to some obscure town that's been getting royally screwed over by its local order of Holy Knights and want someone, anyone to knock some sense into them.

The Sins would agree to this but would want to stay in the village for a bit to rest up after the events of Vaizel. We'd cut to a scene of a few villagers eating at the Boar Hat and they'd realize they don't have the money to pay and Hawk would try to say something only for either Ban or Meliodas to cut in and say 'These are on the house' since they can recognize that this village has been down on its luck.

Maybe even a scene of Diane using her golems or other earth magic to help build up defenses for the village.

The Sins - a group of supposed criminals - doing the jobs that the Holy Knights of this town should have. And some talk between villagers would reveal this has been a rather common situation in Britannia ever since the Sins were accused of killing Zaratras.

And after defeating Hendrickson, there'd be scenes or episodes of undoing the corruption that occurred within the Holy Knights. And that would include helping people affected by it.

You don't need to rush from plot point to plot point to tell a good story. Give the audience and characters some time to breath.

we were robbed of the seven deadly sins having british/irish accents in the english dub. bloody series is set in BRITANNIA and some dude must have been like “how many of the same american accent can we possibly use”???? ok so here are my accent hcs bc this feels unfair

meliodas: i feel like the abridged series nails what he should have sounded like… irish meliodas all the way. zeldris is irish as well. is the holy war a bad metaphor for brexit????? who knows. some of the demons are definitely french  though, like derieri and monspeet? they are french change my mind. is the demon race the eu? are the seven deadly sins the uk? do i have that gay urge to make a 4 hour youtube video about this??? is meliodas breaking away from the demons a really bad metaphor for the troubles???? is nakaba really thinking that hard about this? who knows. bloody hell this is giving me a headache. 

diane: i don’t know where in the uk the giants would live. i could imagine her having some form of a midlands accent, like birmingham maybe?

ban: i think he has a northern accent. i’m not sure where ravens is meant to be but like… somewhere in yorkshire? i can imagine him with a yorkshire accent

king: the fairy kings forest is definitely somewhere in scotland. yeah he’s giving scottish, like stereotypical scottish accent. so is elaine.

gowther: oh for sure he has the specific accent that the monarchy has and for sure the others do impersonations of him

merlin: i’ll say it again. SHES WELSH. her original name in nakabas sketches was myrddin!! AND i love the implication that no one can pronounce her real name because it’s in welsh, not because of the “no human can possibly pronounce it” bullshit because most people in the series have a fuck all grasp how to pronounce anything in welsh.

escanor: he’s also from the north like ban, but probably has a less strong accent though

elizabeth: for all the people from liones, they are pretty much canonically scottish considering liones is in scotland, i’m not sure about the specifics of her/ the royal family’s accents though

Hmmmmmm I think the main hcs that I have for the characters are influenced by other people's AUs/hcs so...

For Mel, it's mainly just the demon form cat stuff. I think at some point I read about someone saying that maybe demons get to pick the shape of their wings when they get them? I also like thinking of Meliodas having double horns (a pair coming out of his forehead and a pair on either side of the top of his head) that have grown in with time (maybe takes 100-200 years to grow fully?) And he has the typical demon tail and bla bla bla. Mostly physical appearances. There's fangs in his mouth, not like.. Vampire fangs, but fangs that can tear through meat easily (I haven't drawn him like that yet I think). Also - extreme flexibility, but that could somewhat be established in the show.

For Ban, I don't have too much? Maybe he has a super soft spot for Meli or smth. He likes cuddles about as much as he likes sparing, he looks kind of intimidating but he's super chill. He gets freaked out when Meliodas does contortionist type shit. He also teaches (or at least tries to teach) Meliodas how to cook properly by making the food the right way, but Meliodas very rarely listens completely because he has the attention span of less than 10 seconds OR he fucks it up to mess with Ban.

Anyways Ban is malewife and Meliodas is his pet cat. I think that's all for what I think about those two?

In terms of lore (like, story wise), I think that Meliodas didn't know how to write or read in English or whatever language they use in Britannia (which I assume is, like, anglo saxon or smth), and when he did learn, he developed an Irish accent because I am a strong believer in him being Irish (cuz, y know, Britannia). Demons and Goddesses speak semitic languages because of me thinking about religion and stuff and how Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc originated in the Middle East, Fairies are Eastern European to me idk why, Giants are..???? Whatever you wish, and humans are everywhere as expected. Vampires are also Eastern European because I searched it up and liked it. They have traditional dances and such - demons and giants have their dances connected to their fighting (giants dancing makes them stronger, demon dancing is just fusion dance w martial arts, like capoeira.), fairies create more lively atmospheres with dancing, I guess, and goddesses, since they're more "elegant", would have smth real classical. Fairies didn't really involve themselves in war too often, giants and demons involved themselves the most, and goddesses did it because of their VERY strained relationship with demons. Ehmmm, what else..... Meliodas never opened up to ANYONE. Like ever. Until he fully gained their trust (which could've taken months, years, decades even.) Ban's on the same boat. Anyways, after the sealing of the demons and the destruction of the goddess race (I may be incorrect, it's been a while since i watched the anime or read the manga), and since the humans are selfish and also gullible, they made history all about how bad demons were. They didn't see demons as actual people, whatever whatever, bla bla bla, you know the rest. Led to incorrect depictions of both races in history and what not.

That's just me, though. You can write whatever you want.

Anyway- Hi!! Heey! Hope the writing is going well! That story sounds good (*sees HURT and MEL* *makes grabby hands*)

Ah yes world-building, my biggest writing frenemy... It's moments like this when I wish my hcs/lore was a little more structured (i def have some hcs that contradict each other; like how most of my fics have different demon features for Mel (in one of my current wips his blood is a color more similar to the red demon's than humans')). But let's see what I can pull out of the void 😅 And if not so much lore maybe I can offer some thoughts to (hopefully) guide you on your way?

(And when I say some I mean a whole fucking lot probably because I've got no self-control oops)

So. The 2 most solid hcs/lore pieces I've got (about the demons ofc because it's me lol) it about the demons' thermoregulation and their sleep. My demon thermoregulation is something I've used in a few of my fics (and that I kinda wished had a better origin than I wanna whump Mel with these 2 prompts but they're not compatible in the way I want so Imma change his whole physiology). It basically boils down to that demons are more connected with nature/the environment around them than humans, and therefore, are also more dependent on the environment. Maybe not cold-blooded in the way we might be used to, but always striving to maintain an optimal internal temperature (their temperature rising with the cold and falling with the heat, constantly compensating for the environment). That said, it's a fine line between maintaining an optimal temperature and overheating/freezing, especially in extreme temperatures.

My thoughts about demons' sleep contains 2 parts. Meliodas' sleep is fucked up by his upbringing. Demons also naturally follow a different sleep schedule than human (nocturnal?). Because they are a different race than humans, but also because not only is the Demon Realm a different place, it's literally a completely different realm! I'm not gonna go into the whole "we see 2 moons in the demon realm in Cursed by Light but apparently there's no day and night there yet at the same time it's a known fact that demons are much stronger at night" thing and just say that the Demon Realm is weird (from a human/non-demon realm native perspective).

Which is another point to consider. Because if the Demon Realm is weird to humans than Britannia must be weird to demons, right? And that's something you can do a lot with, if you just want to. The Demon Realm, and with it, the demons, aren't limited by human expectations and reality. We see in canon that demons and the demon realm don't always follow human possibilities, like being able to literally reattach limbs, or having seven hearts (or being able to sacrifice six hearts and still be alive), and the creatures that exist in that realm. One thing I like to ask myself when writing about demon characteristics/features or differences between the realms is what do I want to achieve? (oh god, I sound like my teacher - what is the point of this, what do we want to know...) What do these characteristics or lore or whatnot bring to the characters, the plot, and the story? Why is it important? Like take that example of Mel's blood I mentioned at the beginning. In that fic, one thing that is important to the progression of the story and the characters interactions is that Mel is toeing the line between human and definitely not human. Most people can tell that there is something "wrong" or off about him, like the color of his blood or how he looks like a literal child but can drink anyone under the tables or etc, etc, but not enough for people to point at him and scream demon. And all of this isn't about just physical or environmental things, but behaviors too.

Britannia is filled with different races! Demons and humans (and the other races) will react to things differently, have different thought processes and behaviors. Like *gently holds hc about demons nuzzling to show affection* or *hc about demons using sounds and non-verbal communication to a much higher degree than humans* or even *potential hc about demons and goddesses sharing a third language (outside their native languages and the language shared between all races) because they both hold themselves higher than the other races and even communicated with each other enough for a sort of truce(?)*

Another thing about Britannia is that it is oold. Like, we follow 3,000 years worth of history in canon. We know that the landscape changes drastically over the years (enough for King to be like hey this isn't our britannia, and also the 10C are surprised to find Edinburgh castle (or what's left of it anyway) because that spot used to be empty), but we don't really know how the people/culture/all that stuff changes. Because like... there's no way that things remain the same for 3-freaking-thousands years. Especially not with the huge change of the gods (goddesses) and monsters (demons) of the world all simultaneously disappearing. That said, it's interesting to think about how open to change the different races are/would be. Would the giants and fairies, who both have looong lifespans, be more prone to keeping things the way they are, than humans who might see change happening over the passing of generations? And then there's the demons and goddesses, who (if following canon events) have been gone/sealed/STUCK for 3,000 years...😅 But also like, how do the demons/goddesses feel about the changes to Britannia and the other races? We don't see a lot of this in canon (besides wow humans have gotten even better at making alcohol and wow humans are so weak now).

Oh wait! Actually another thing canon does touch upon is the shift in the magical power in Britannia. After being released the 10C feel like the magical power has dried up and it's making it harder for them to regain their own, but Fraudrin points out it isn't gone but instead the power that "once gushed from the earth" now "flows into the wildlife and plants" and that over the years it's been "absorbed by the beings" in Britannia. I'm not sure how much thoughts I have about this because it literally just caught my attention (😅) but it's something to think about. What was it like before when the power was in the earth rather than the plants and beings, what does this change mean, why did it happen, what relationship do the demons have with the natural magical power in Britannia? It's also of note to point out that this power, according to Monspeet, was the reason for the start of the war between the five races.

(ooh this makes me think about my own writing bc i've wanted for a while to do a fic where demons are a lot more connected/dependent on the natural power/energy in the demon realm and this affects mel once he gets stuck in britannia and maybe this can add some further complexity to the whole thing because the relationship between magic and land has changed in britannia - hmm def worth some thinking - Anyway! Side note. Ignore this, lol)

One way I do think Britannia has changed over the many years is that it is much more connected now. It feels, to me at least, that "back in the day" the different villages and whatnot were a lot more isolated. While now, for better (traveling, trading, alliances) or worse (war, humans being fucked up little shits to each other), Britannia is a lot more connected. We do see the characters being pretty well-aware of the surrounding kingdoms/villages/even locations of other races (there's even a map! - we do not know if there was a map of the land 3,000 years ago...?)

Anyway! Ramblings ove- No. Wait. Language! I definitely think language/communication is worth a couple of some thoughts (because I'm a nerd when it comes to communication. First of all, like a briefly mentioned before, I love the idea of demons being a lot more non-verbal than humans. Like in my Monster Sins AU, the demons' sounds/non-verbal communication is at least as complex as their verbal one. Humans might pick up on the warning of a growl or the particular emotion of whine or purr, but to demons there's actual communicated messages in those sounds. Personally I like taking inspiration from dogs and cats with a flair of demon/fantasy for how these sounds sound (but I'm also open to the potential of other animals - I haven't gotten that far in my own world-building yet). I also imagine demons have more rough/non-clear sounds, and more sounds "located in the throat" or have you wanna explain it...

On the topic of 3,000 years passing, I also think it's important to point out the changes in language. Because whether we are talking about the demons being sealed away for 3,000 years or just different races keeping to their own realms/race, there will be communication problems happening. Again, there's no way things haven't changed. I mean, if I look at a Swedish text from a couple centuries ago I'm like *confused noises intensifying*. And like we know that demons have their own language. With how the demons/goddesses superiority complex, I don't see why they would keep to the "common language" when speaking with each other either. So there would definitely be some differences in the language used between the different races. The demons in canon, after the seal breaks, must have a very old-sounding language with like idioms no longer used. Similarly, they must find the language of humans and whatnot hard to understand at times, because there are new words/phrases they aren't familiar with. And this isn't just about time either, there gotta be a lot of different dialects in Britannia. No way all of Britannia speaks in the same way (same language sure, but not the same way).

Okay, now I am done. Not sure how much of this was coherent or *makes vague gesture* useful to you but it's some thoughts, I guess.

• You both met when you were injured by demons.

• You were badly hurt and curled in a spot in the forest.

• But Nanashi found you, he realized you were still alive and decided to help you.

• At first you thought you were hallucinating.

•  So when you regained consciousness, you were confused as to why you had a blanket and a fire was near you.

• As you started to move around, you heard a voice calling out to you - a male voice.

• You jumped and turned around meeting Nanashi on a corner, but as soon as you turned around, pain took over.

• He calmly told you to stay still and you did oblige, but not before cowering again.

• After introducing yourself and asking his name you both fell into an awkward silence.

• Just the sound of the fire cracking. 

• You eventually asked reason for helping you and he just shrugged it off replying " is there a reason not to?"

• With that answer you turned into a tiny ball, hugging your tail.

• Nanashi sighed and asked you what happened to you to have such nasty injuries.

• He asked you if the demon was still around, as you said you didn't know you could see something similar to an interest glimmering in his eyes.

• From there onwards you made many questions to the man - why he was interested, where he was going, why demons annoyed him and so on.

• Nanashi didn't answer all of your questions, but some he did. And you respected what he didn't feel like sharing.

• As you got better, you told him you were fine to be on your own, but the man didn't leave until you were 100%.

• When that day arrived he asked you if you had a place to go. 

• Coincidentally you were both headed the same way - the forest you lived was near his destination.

• So you tagged along with him.

• That is how you grew closer.

• Each day with you, even when you were injured, he was interested in you.

• As a kitsune you often curled on your own tail, you were skilled at cutting fruits with your claws - they always looked flawless.

• You moved your ears around a lot to capture noises and you were very curious about everything.

• He also realized that you twitched your ears whenever something would brush against it.

• So, safe to say he felt pretty much amused on your trip together. 

• You said a brief goodbye there, you were a little sad to say bye to your savior, so you invited him to stop by your forest at any time ! 

• He grinned at you and ruffled your hair.

• You guys met again some time later. 

• You were very happy about seeing him again and Nanashi was glad you were alive.

• Upon this meeting you both went on a few adventures together - for you it was mostly exploring and messing with thieves and for him was finding a good challenge.

• But he always kept you safe whenever he got to fight. 

• You could handle yourself, but for some reason, he felt like he shouldn't involve you or let you get hurt again.

• Some people were shocked to see a stoic guy being so fine with some as curious and talkative as you.

• Talking about people, he helped you hide your appearance  - you could create an illusion, yes, so you looked like a regular human, but he insisted you should wear a hoodie.

• Slowly Nanashi felt like telling you about his past - he once had wings.

• You listened to his story, your eyes were shining with excitement, curiosity and happiness. Yes, happiness, he was opening up to you.

• He felt a bit taken aback when he saw your eyes so shiny, but he soon felt comfortable and gave a small smile to you.

• After some more time you started to curl up near him to sleep. 

• He didn't mind at all, in fact he lowkey enjoyed it - you were warm.

• Your relationship never had direct words of affection, but for some reason you always knew this was precious.

• The way he enjoyed your presence or even how he patted your head.

• When you told him you loved him, he showed a bit of a surprise may have said reconsider .

• He patted your head and smiled at you. He said he cared about you too, in an awkward way.

• You loved teasing him by kissing his cheek suddenly - that caused him to be seemingly annoyed, but he did enjoy the affection.

• Nanashi's way of affection was taking care of you. He looked after your injuries and what you ate.

• He also loved when you curled up next to him to sleep - he never quite said it, but he always invited you to sleep.

• You gladly curled up against his side and the man would wrap an arm around you.

• He finds it adorable how happy you get for being able to cuddle.

• You'd think most people would want to touch your ears and tails, but Nanashi didn't really kept touching them all the time.

• He thought that, he didn't enjoy people touching his wings so you probably shouldn't enjoy it either.

• And he wasn't wrong.

• But sometimes he would scratch your ears whenever you laid near him during day time.

• He started scratching them in auto pilot while thinking about something else.

• His touch was light and very tender.

All in all, Nanashi is a quiet lover, but he is a loyal and sweet one. He doesn't voice his feelings very often, but his actions scream how he feels.

He loves you very dearly and will keep you out of harm's way. 

You are the best and cutest thing he found wandering around - such a curious and pure hearted being.
