how to protect your peace (and no one else's!)

wake up and do affirmations, there’s no use in being sad

turn off each and every headline, because they might be bad

go through all your emails, delete all that aren’t a fad.

next, go wash your face, with all the tears you will not shed, 

don’t forget to ignore people who may get inside your head

and tell you to be aware of the world, and little babies dead.

forget to have an open mind, until it benefits YOUR cause, 

and only care for anybody else, if they’ve read the fine print clause,

treat others how you want to be treated, but not if they make you mad! 

look up new problematic words, in case you hear them from your dad, 

make no effort to donate to anything, unless it’s the Starbucks you sip.

and always block your haters, if they give you too much lip, 

even if you’ve been best friends since you were eight years old, 

the minute that they disagree, you know they should be told 

to go to hell and die in pain, to live through drought and have no rain, 

to fall on their heads and crush all their bones, 

to grow up one day and find they’re alone--  

because of the thing they did that offended you 

and the way they looked at your dog, 

they surely saw it coming, what an insolent little frog! 

and now you have to eat your meal of conflict-free reports, 

make sure there is no “thoughts” in there, in other words… in short… 

do nothing that will pain you, be as numb as you can be, 

protect your peace until you have nothing but your peace to see! 

it will be so easy, nothing bad will happen again,

except you will be the one alone, the one without a friend, 

everyone will say no to you, when you ask them to go out, 

because IT IS A BOUNDARY they will scream and they will shout, 

you wittle away your community, to save a perfect little dream, 

only to realize it never was as perfect as it seems. 

but go ahead, climb into bed, 

and snooze in peaceful bliss, 

you’ve wiggled your way through the day, 

to repeat, again, this list.

So… little update

I didn’t pass the exam. Honestly I’m not even angry, I’m just neutral about it. I think I’m slowly passing the phase in which I feel frustrated.

The exam was s***. The questions were horrible and I was just really unlucky, for just one point I didn’t pass. 🥲

The weird thing is that I don’t even know what I did wrong, because I was really sure of my answers and confronting with my friends afterwards made me realize that most of the questions I didn’t know, I still answered them correctly…

I will call it a mystery 👻

(I even asked the professor for a check on my mistakes, but apparently the policy of this exam do not permit a review on what I did wrong)

But really, I do not care. Next time will be better, manifesting for it🤞🏻✨

Failure is not miserable. Take it as a sign that this wasn’t just your time, learn from your mistakes and bring positive vibes!
