The Queen of beaded emblems ~ The Unidentified Queen of Naboo (Legends)
An unidentified Queen of Naboo reigned some 240 years before the Battle of Naboo. One of her royal gowns was adorned with elegant beaded emblems. More than two centuries later, those ornaments were reused to decorate Queen Amidala's foreign residence dress.
Unfortunately, her name, face, the length of her reign and costumes are unknown to us. Due to that the painter decided to present the Queen in similar costume and hair-dress like the one wore by Amidala, but in white lively colour.
As we only know that she existed thanks to ornaments on Amidala's dress, the artists decided to mark it by boxes with jewellery and colourful clothes in the background.
Even if the name of the lady is mystery to us, she was the Queen, that is why she sits on a throne-like-chair and has scars of remembrance on her face. Behind her, we can also see Naboo royal crest.

Rip the Queen
Ok storytime of today
So I'm Canadian but this morning for some reason I was watching Good Morning America. I wasn't really listening but it was saying like "Oh no the queen is sick" and I was just like "Ok".
Then this afternoon, the teacher interrupts the class the fucking minute he's told about the news and THEN I go "OH OKAY SO THEY WERE SERIOUS"
Anyways crabs or whatever

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.
Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.
