hi hope you’re well!! id like to request sharing a bed with ignis (or all ffxv boys! up to you!) for the first time please! like there’s only one bed or the booking at hotel went wrong ! it’s up to you! dw if you don’t want to do it :) love ur work!
Tumblr media
"This is just peachy..." The sarcasm rolled off Gladio's tongue like molasses as he shot Ignis a glare. "You just had to let blondie down there take care of the booking."
Ignis sighed as he scrunched his legs up further into his chest, trying to give Gladio and their fifth guest more room at the front of the bed. He grunted before addressing the crude remark.
"Tending to Y/N at the time was more important than keeping an eye out on Prompto's sense of rationale."
"Hey!" Prompto exclaimed as he shot up from the foot of the bed. He shoved Gladio's left foot away, grimacing at the aroma that wafted from his calloused toes. "When the receptionist said they had a suite, I assume that means a big space. Where I'm from, a big space means more room which means having more than one bed!"
"There's a reason you didn't pass algebra." Noctis quipped. He earned a swift kick to his side from Prompto and nearly fell off the mattress while he yelped.
"You're one to talk Noct, you only passed the tenth grade cause you copied my material!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"Did not--!"
"Guys, not for nothing, but I'd like to sleep." Y/N sighed.
"Y/N's right," Ignis muttered. "We have a big day ahead of us and it's already late. Let us try to make the best out of the situation."
"Fine, whatever." Noctis breathed. He adjusted his body, lying on his side and facing away from Ignis's legs. He thanked the gods for not being in Prompto's position when it came to catching a whiff of Gladio's feet. The swampy smell was still there from their time in Duscae, and Noctis let out a grunt when he felt nausea pool briefly in his chest.
"You okay down there, Noct?" Y/N asked.
"Yep!" Noctis sighed.
"Good," Y/N tried to keep their eyes upon the ceiling in a vain attempt to ignore the fact they were sandwiched in between both Ignis and Gladio. All the while, their feet were pressed upon Noctis and Prompto. Had they not felt self-conscious being amongst four guys in a single bed, Y/N would've seen the hilarity in all this. How the whole gang was basically crammed onto the mattress like a posse of clowns trapped inside a small vehicle.
"Uh," Y/N made a face as they snapped out of their thoughts. "Gladio, I think you're touching my butt."
"Sorry, my bad!"
"Y/N," Ignis turned his head, raising his voice ever so slight. "This may seem awkward, but we may be able to give Gladio and yourself more wiggle room if you bundle up to me."
"Smooth one, specs." Noctis teased. He let out a wince when Ignis not so subtly jabbed his face with his right foot. Prompto could be heard giggling into his palms at the incident.
Y/N growled a little in their throat. As much as they had grown to enjoy the antics of the boys, now was not the time. Nonetheless, they went through the motions. Their body curled up against Ignis until they were practically spooning the man from behind.
"Finally, I can stretch!" Gladio yawned. He gently reached over and nudged Y/N. "Thanks for taking one for the team."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Y/N muttered in reply. They felt Ignis reach for them, gently coaxing Y/N to put an arm around his waist.
"You sure this is alright?" Y/N tried to whisper against the back of Ignis's head.
"Positive," He replied. "Besides, this will lower the risk of having you wake in a compromising position with anybody."
Y/N quietly laughed at the remark. "Kinda late for that, but okay."
"He's a gentleman like that!" Prompto interjected. He let out an uncomfortable sigh as he moved around, causing the bed to creak. "Gladio, buddy, do you think you can move? You're taking up my side of the bed."
"Your side of the bed?!" Gladio exclaimed, feeling the last straw break the camels back. "This whole bed should've been my side of the bed but you screwed up!"
"And here I thought you liked slumber parties!" Prompto jabbed playfully.
"I outta--!"
"Hey!" Noctis rose up. "You two, shut the hell up and go to sleep! Enough of the cat fight!"
"How about you shut up for a change?" Gladio countered.
"Is that a challenge?"
"Guys, c'mon...I already gotta smell Gladio's fungus feet and I don't want the bed turning into a battle arena!"
"Fungus feet?!"
Y/N shook their head against Ignis, letting out a sigh of disbelief as the commotion between the three pressed on. The gentle squeeze Ignis offered had them slightly perk up.
"They're always like this," Ignis reassured. "And the feelings are mutual, by the way."
The tired reply Ignis gave had Y/N smile from ear to ear, and somehow they could feel themself drifting away among the bantering. Tomorrow would come soon.

| Chocobros Dating Drabbles |
[ Noctis Lucis Caelum, Ignis Scientia, Prompto Argentum, Gladiolus Amicitia x GN! Reader ]
Tumblr media
TW & CW + Tags: None. No major spoilers mentioned. [All separate pairings. All established relationships. GN! reader.]
Summary: Quick little dating drabbles with each of the chocobros, just overall cuteness and fluff.
[(A/N): Hey hey!! My first FFXV piece. Not requested, but I REALLY wanted to make these since I've started playing recently. No major spoilers please!! I'd appreciate it a lot. As always, enjoy!]
Tumblr media
Noctis:
Noctis loves, and I mean LOVES sleeping. Or napping. He feels at peace in this state and he can rest from the chaos of the world, even for a bit.
With you in his life, expect to be pulled into multiple cuddle sessions with him. On the couch, in a bed, or even in the Regalia. Doesn't matter. If he's going to bed, he's dragging your ass to sleep. And he's not afraid to pout and whine a bit if you refuse.
He's usually the bigger spoon, but he doesn't mind being the little spoon as well. Or any position really. As long as he senses your presence, he'll sleep like a baby.
To Noctis, these are special and soft moments to him. The feeling of your bodies close to one another feels so intimate, yet so sweet. He feels safe and it relaxes his mind to know that you're in his arms. Safe and sound.
Ignis:
Oh Iggy. First off, if you ever ask if you could accompany him by helping in the kitchen, he'd happily agree. How could he not. Don't know how to cook? Don't worry! He'll teach you every you'll need to know.
He appreciates hearing constructive criticism or ideas for a new recipe. Not only does he find it helpful, but it also lets him know that you care about him and his interests.
Something Ignis has grown to love over the course of your relationship; is simply spending quiet time together. Reading books quietly, or you resting your head on his lap while he reads a story out loud to you.
You make him feel at ease. Although it doesn't look like it, being on the road makes him tired. And if he can at least get some quiet, alone time with you, Ignis is a happy man.
Gladio:
Look at this giant and lovable golden retriever. Gladio can be and looks like a tough guy, but he's a softie and a romantic at heart.
Always teasing you. Lightheartedly. He loves seeing you flustered and that man is not afraid to make you do so. But he's also the king of giving you compliments that'll make you swoon.
Gladio would watch Disney movies with you if you asked him to do so. He at first denies that he likes them (secretly loves Beauty and the Beast) but eventually he breaks and will start singing along to the songs.
No matter what, he'll protect you always. He may be the King's Shield, but when it comes to you, he'll keep you safe from any and all danger. Even if it costs him his life.
Prompto:
Aww, the little chocobean. Prompto is literally like a ball of sunshine. He strives to make you smile and laugh, even if he uses bad corny jokes to do so.
Will ask—no, beg you to come to see the chocobos with him. Race with them, feed them, and definitely take a couple of pictures together while you're there.
Speaking of taking pictures, if you let him, Prompto always take snapshots of you whenever he finds the perfect spot to do so. One time in Lestallum, he snuck a quick kiss to your cheek and caught your surprised expression on camera. Needless to say, it's his favorite shot of you.
At the end of the day, he loves you dearly. You bring him so much happiness into his life and give him another reason to keep going. The only thing he could ever ask is this; don't break his heart and leave him behind.

hey-hey! i hope you're doing well, love your writing <3
if you can, could i ask for the ffxv boys (prompto, noctis, ignis, gladio) with a male reader who's in a band? preferably implied to be a poly romantic thing with them (unless you don't do poly, platonic is good!) you can pick whatever format you feel like! :]
☆ our boy's in a band
ffxv boys x male reader [he / him]
sypnosis: above.
the lowercase is intentional !
Tumblr media
"i can't wait to see him!" prompto's voice echoed throughout the halls, he was clearly excited about something. ignis hummed and nodded in agreement, so did noctis.
"yeah, he looked amazing tonight." gladio responded to prompto's comment, letting out a small sigh as an image in his mind appeared about this 'he'.
the men kept walking through the hallways, backstage in a venue. they were all giddy, and practically buzzing with excitement just to see this 'he'.
eventually, the group reached a dressing room. ignis decided to knock lightly on the door, waiting for a response or for someone to open the door for him and the group behind him.
a few seconds pass, but the door creaks open. a man is standing at the other side of the door, looking quite tired but his face lights up as soon as he sees the men infront of him.
"[name]!" the group call out, all rushing to hug the man. they all throw themselves on top of [name], each trying to steal a kiss from their boyfriend.
a light chuckle escaped [name]'s lips as he tried to pull his boyfriend's off. he wanted his space, a little air to breathe and preferably a warning if he was to get crushed once again.
"well it's good to see you all too." [name] finally spoke up, a smile on his face as he looks over at the group infront of him. they all looked back in awe, prompto rushing to hog [name] for himself.
"oh babe! you looked so good out there today! you were so amazing!" prompto cooed, squeezing [name] as tightly as he could before someone else stole him away. [name] smiled at prompto and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "thank you." [name] whispered back.
then, gladio pulled [name] out of prompto's arms so the man could rest in his own muscular arms. "you were so handsome and sexy up on that stage." gladio purred, placing a few kisses to [name]'s neck. [name] responded with a few laughs, finding the way gladio's facial hair scratched his neck to be quite ticklish.
"yes, you were quite fascinating on stage my dear." ignis piped up, walking towards [name] to place a kiss on his forehead. ignis then moved gladio's arms off of [name], worried the poor man might get squished. instead, ignis let gladio hold onto his hand.
noctis was the last one to come up to [name], wrapping his arms around his boyfriend to nuzzle himself in the other man's neck. he seemed to be more tired than [name] even though he wasn't the one performing.
"mhm.." noctis hummed in agreement to what everyone else said previously. he just seemed to be more interested in getting home to sleep, just like [name].
"you two look very tired." ignis comments, taking a look at his partner's faces. there's a small frown wanting to form on ignis' lips. his heart aches as he sees how tired noctis and [name] look. "i guess we should get going now. unless you have to go get your fans to cheer for you again, [name]?" ignis asked, almost as if he was teasing his boyfriend.
[name] rolled his eyes, letting his own arms wrap around noctis. "no, i don't need to have my fans cheer for me." [name] responded to ignis with a hum. "the only people i need to cheer for me are you guys." [name] smirked.
Tumblr media
prompto started to holler at [name]'s words, gladio and ignis joining in with laughs of their own. prompto then practically jumps over to [name], giving him a kiss on the lips. noctis groans and he pushes prompto away, wanting to be the only one in [name]'s arms right now.
"well, if that's the case i think we can go to the car and drive home, yes?" ignis suggests and all of the men nod along to him. "let's go then." ignis continues, taking hold of prompto's hand to drag him to the car.
gladio walked over to [name], shaking noctis off of him to pick up the other man. "a reward for your impressive work today, my prince." gladio smirked, kissing [name]'s forehead and picking him up.
noctis groans once again, glaring at gladio for stealing away his warmth. he just sighed, not bothering with his boyfriend. he just followed him, and his other boyfriends, to the car.
the group walked over to the car, squeezing inside as best as they could. ignis started driving off back home, engaging in conversation with his boyfriends. they all laughed and talked with eachother on the way home.
suddenly, [name] realised something and his eyes widened.
"oh shit. i forgot all my stuff back in the dressing room.." [name] mumbled.
ignis immediately stopped the car and he turned back around. everyone groaned and sighed at [name], shaking their heads.
"[name]!" prompto whined, turning around in his seat and pouting at his boyfriend. "how could you!" prompto continued, acting as if [name] had done the worst thing in the world.
"it's not my fault you guys dragged me out of the dressing room so quickly! it's not my fault you guys wanted to see me and snuggle up to me so badly!" [name] chuckled at prompto. the blonde pouted, turning back around in his seat with his arms crossed over our chest.
"i guess we were just too eager to see our band boy." gladio teased, pressing a kiss to [name]'s cheek. noctis and ignis hummed in agreement, ignis continuing to drive back to the venue.
the group couldn't wait for [name]'s next performance, to have another moment like this. but, they hoped [name] wouldn't end up leaving his stuff again.
- author's note: hope you enjoyed this! this was kind of silly, but i love it. keep requests coming, i love writing requests for you guys :)

ffxv polyship roadtrip passing time making cute shit in the car :D
TYSM FOR THE ASK !!
Polyship!Chocobros x Reader [Drabble- SFW] Braaacelets!
Tumblr media
Another loooong drive was ahead of the group. The lot of you have found a bunch of ways to pass the time roadtripping, some more interesting than others. Today’s time killer? Making bracelets! With Iggy behind the wheel, and honestly, more than happy to sit and listen, the shenanigans ensue.
“Uhhh, babes?” Prompto called out to the car. “Is this right?” To which one of you? Well.. narrowing it down to the only one of the group who knows a lick about the craft at hand, you answer.
“Lemme see.” The blonde awkwardly holds up his mess of paracord to you. When making these sort of bracelets, the two working ends need to be even. Sweet sunshine over here had three working strings, which you didn’t know was possible. With a few tugs and a pat on the head for good measure and reassurance, crisis averted.
“Aaaand you take the opposite side’s string and thread it through the loop you’ve made..” The trio listened carefully to your words, trying their best to imitate. Noct was oddly concentrated for a change, landing it first try. He wiggled his eyebrows at Gladio, who’s large hands have done him dirty. “Mmmm..” He rolled his eyes at the prince.
You shifted from your tight spot between the two and leaned forward to whisper something to Prompto. “Big.. meaty.. claws..”
Miles and minutes passed, and the crafting kept going. With questions here and there, it was going well! It made you feel a certain way, seeing your boys take interest in little things like this. For a moment, it makes you forget why you’re on this trip in the first place. As of right now, you were a group of lovers in a fancy car, making bracelets to pass the time. Prince who?
Prompto was making one for Iggy, Noct for you, you for Gladio, and Gladio for Noct. And when there was a pit stop or some traffic, Iggy had started a bracelet for Prompto. He was a quick learner, and made an extra juuust in case.
“Sooo..” Noctis spoke from his perch atop the Regalia. “Y/N, why’d you pick neon pink for Gladdy?”
Before you could find a joking reply, Gladio butted in. “Because real men wear pink. Bright pink.”
“It’s like asking why he’s using all black for you Noct!” Prompto made eye contact with him through the mirror. “You know.. Because you’re emo.”
That one got a laugh from Ignis, who was quickly reminded by Gladio about his own emo phase.

— You lost! Show it! — Gladio shouted right next to [Reader's] ear.
— You cheated — she gasped, clutching the wooden sword.
— All's fair in love and war!
— We're not at war, we're just doing training exercises — the little girl replied.
She wasn't happy with the sparring result but she kept her promise. She rolled up her sleeve, revealing the tattoo on her forearm. The black line formed an ornately written "Farewell"
— I was hoping for something better.
— Do not get smart up. You don't have the skill yourself yet.
— It won't be easy to find a soulmate with something like that. I hope my skill will be better.
The girl didn't want to admit it but she was thinking exactly the same thing. Many people were given simpler instructions. She has always dreamed of a timer or a red thread. They didn't require much attention. Meanwhile, she was given a word that anyone could have said to her.
— Maybe I'll hear my soulmate say goodbye to someone? Or will this be a slogan describing our entire relationship? You know... we'll be such a nice couple that we won't want to be apart?
***
[Reader] stared at the three friends who had come to the training ground. She was glad Noctis wasn't with them.
She thought no one would come here in the middle of the night. She had been able to avoid meetings over the past few days but it seemed like that wasn't the case this time.
— I don't want to talk to you.
She swung her sword, practicing the sequence.
— Listen, you can just sit here for me but he doesn't want to go anywhere without you...
Gladiolus didn't finish his sentence because Prompto kicked him in the ankle with all his might.
— How can you say such things to a girl? — Prompto was outraged. — Sorry, I have to send a text message quickly. — He took out his phone.
Ignis looked at the other two and sighed. He adjusted his glasses. He felt the need to do this whenever he got irritated.
— Why are you avoiding the prince?
— Damn it! We all know why. We are not making idiots of ourselves.
King's Shield was tired. He wanted to put the whole trip behind him. Altissia was far from Insomnia. They had a long journey ahead of them and he felt like he was babysitting Noctis instead of preparing for it.
The prince insisted that he wanted to see [Reader] at his wedding to Lunafreya. He proposed it to her and she awkwardly excused herself and they haven't seen each other since.
— Wait... so we know why she's avoiding him? — Prompto frowned in concentration.
It took him a few seconds to understand what Gladiolus was talking about.
— Aaah... That's what you mean... — He tapped his forehead lightly.
— Let's end this circus. You're coming with us. Even the king said it was a great idea.
— He didn't give me an order.
[Reader] knew she was arguing like a little child but she had a hard time hiding her reluctance.
— Stop being so selfish! — Gladio knocked the training sword out of her hand.
He did it easily. He surpassed her in terms of physical strength. Not to mention his skills were next level.
He froze the moment he saw her face. The moonlight helped him see tears in the corners of his eyes. She turned her head to wipe them gently.
He felt guilty.
They had been friends since childhood.
— Damn it! — He pinched the bridge of his nose. — I'm sorry, okay? I'm just... fed up with it.
Ignis didn't say anything. He looked at him reprimandingly and Gladio realized that he was in for a good sermon. Ignis took an embroidered handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to the girl. She accepted it gratefully.
— It's not your fault... none of you... Let's be honest, neither is it Noctis's fault. But so what? Should I be a bridesmaid at a wedding I don't want to see? Watch someone I've been in love with for so many years get married? Congratulate my rival with whom I never stood a chance? I want Noctis to be happy but... that doesn't mean I have to watch it all.
The girl felt all the emotions she had been carrying since the announcement of the engagement slipping away. Grief gripped her heart and the words stuck in her throat. Her fingers tightened around Ignis's handkerchief. There was a deafening silence, broken only by the night chirping of crickets.
The friends looked towards the entrance. She followed their gaze.
He stood there.
— We'll leave you two alone — Prompto suggested.
He hoped [Reader] wouldn't find out that he was the one who notified Noctis via text message. Otherwise he would be in big trouble.
— I think we need to talk — said the prince.
— You didn't overhear everything? — she asked bitterly.
Blue eyes stared at her intensely.
— I want you to tell me about it properly now.
— NO. — She sat down on the stone wall. — Do you know why? Because it doesn't make sense. I won't change anything.
— You know...
— I know! You are responsible for Lucis... And you will be king one day... And you love Lunafreya... And we need this marriage...
Noctis looked at the brightly shining moon above his head.
It was as if in its light he could no longer hide anything.
He felt he had failed as a friend.
He knew for a long time. He just never wanted to let that thought come to the fore. It was easier to push it to the bottom of his mind and tell himself it was just a delusion. He was afraid to face a feeling he didn't reciprocate.
— [Reader], if you had told me earlier...
She felt a pang in her chest. He had no soulmate skill. Fate didn't decide for him. He chose Luna of his own free will.
— I wouldn't change anything. You love each other and I want you to be happy but please — she took a deep breath — don't make me go there. My heart can't bear it.
In her imagination she saw a beautiful bride. Blond curls were tied up in a high bun and the white dress rustled with every step. The Oracle held a bouquet of her favorite blue flowers as she looked for her fiancé.
Her fingers gripped the stone tightly.
He could give an order if he wanted.
— Then stay... but promise me our friendship won't end like this.
The prince felt that the thread that had connected them for a long time was breaking. He wanted desperately to save it, even though he felt it was over. All the years they spent together were gone.
— I promise that I will come after the wedding, together with your father, when I get myself together a bit. — She headed towards the exit.
— Farewell — he said with a slight smile.
She glanced briefly at the tattoo that had been with her for many years.
She didn't answer him.
***
— What is it about? — Noctis asked.
Ignis entered the room with a newspaper in his hand.
— Read it.
The Fall of Insomnia , said the headline. Gladiolus read it aloud, feeling growing anxiety.
— Is this some joke?
The prince wanted to tear out the newspaper and make sure he had heard correctly.
— There was an attack. The Imperial army has occupied the capital — Gladio continued. — The Treaty Room flashed brightly. Explosions were also heard. When the smoke cleared, the king was found... dead. — Gladio looked up.
— No... But... Wedding... Altissia...
— I know. That was the plan but... all the headlines in town can't be wrong.
Ignis looked at Noctis with regret. There was no way there could be a mistake.
The boy felt his heart beating fast and a cold sweat break out on him.
— Liars! — he shouted. — We have to check that.
— Shall we turn back? — Prompto assured.
— Yes.
***
— Betrayal! Protect His Majesty!
[Reader] managed to kill three opponents before she fell to the ground. Lights flashed all around and a loud explosion deprived her of hearing.
She put her fingers to her chest in surprise. A red, sticky liquid flowed from the deep wound. She tried to make a sound but was interrupted by darkness.
***
— Maybe these will be the last words you hear from him? He'll see you and decide it's time to say goodbye or something — he laughed.
— Gladio, I'm going to kill you!
— I'd like to see you try — said the new, short, dark-haired boy.
He poked his head out from behind one of the pillars and curiously walked to the middle of the training ground.
— I think it's time for me to introduce you to the spoiled prince. Noctis Lucis Caelum and his titles that I don't feel like listing...

The Bride of the Four Horsemen - Chapter 5
Chapter 5 - The Red Rider of Blood - War
1 of 2 added chapters as a commission from destinidestati! Thank you so much for your support~! Another chapter will be added either later this week or early next!
Tumblr media
When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
◇─◇──◇────◇────◇────◇────◇────◇─────◇──◇─◇
Arcadia | The Wheelhouse
I opened the doors leading to the control room in haste. The front of the airship was seemingly only accompanied by Ignis and a few others who pledged themselves to us and our cause. Hearing them open, my husband turned to greet me. Even without sight, there were times he always surprised me with how acute his other senses were.
“Where is Noctis?” I asked, breathless from my swift and exhausted run through the airship.
“Fociaugh Hollow, my Bride,” Ignis answered, his tone harboring concern for my own. “He was looking into a small lead in regards to a powerful daemon he hoped to quell.” He met me halfway, opening his hand for me to take. “Is something the matter? You sound.. distressed.”
It was a dream. That’s what I had to tell myself, but there was some truth buried within that ‘dream’ that had me rattled to my core. My fingers caressed his open palm, trying to find comfort in his presence alone. “I had a vision of sorts.”
Ignis’ lips thinned as if already dreading what I were to say. Seems without me even speaking that horrid man’s name, he knew Ardyn was possibly involved.
“I was… I was warned that something could be happening to Gladio in Altissia at this moment.”
“Who warned you of this?”
I shook my head at his desire to pry. “It matters not! What concerns me is that they could be right. We have more enemies there than friends, and I was told only that he ventured with Aranea there for—for something.”
Ignis hummed in thought, glancing away to collect his thoughts on the matter. “He never spoke with me about this. I was even unaware he was heading there to begin with.” There was a bit of pain laboring his tone as he spoke.
I understood why, as those two seemed to share a lot with one another. Just as Ignis and I had our fair share of secrets, I wouldn't doubt those two had the same.

It’s a Cinderella Story based off FFXV
Disclaimers:
Slightly canon-divergent. This will be happy, like, pretty damn happy if I can help it.
Cindy’s parents were Lucis nobility, Cid is still a top-class engineer in Hammerhead don’t worry. Still very hick because I like him that way.
Ardyn is less of a threat but he is the big bad of this story. He’s gonna be Ardyn icky Izunia still, but he’s not going to be as big of a threat as he is in the game 💀
There will be heavy mentions of abuse and neglect, it’s a Cinderella story-
Also the main ship is the Chocobros, gonna air that out right now. They all deserve so much love so I’m giving them each other.
-Summary-
Prompto hadn’t asked to be brought to the Aurum Estate, hadn’t asked to be raised by Ardyn Izunia to become an assassin alongside his clone of a brother Loqi, and hadn’t asked to usurp the Aurum family line in favor of establishing themselves in Lucis high society. Cindy was always kind to him, whenever she wasn’t in Hammerhead with her Grandfather in order to escape her horrible step-father Lord Izunia, that is.
He’d been raised to kill. He knew that. It had been drilled into him from his first steps.
But the moment he’d hesitated, that’s when hell swallowed him up. Because when you’re bred and raised to do something you wish not to pursue, the only intelligent thing to do is to initiate behavioral protocol. Obedience training, is what Ardyn had called it.
Prompto grew up isolated, unknowing of his true origins due to the fact that Ardyn couldn’t trust him with the information after he’d acknowledged that Prompto wasn’t going to fulfill his ‘purpose’. And, unfortunately for Ardyn, getting rid of Prompto would be suspicious. So Prompto was made to do the estates hard labor. While attending school to clarify appearances.
But he had a secret, one he’d never share with Lord Izunia, not even for the world.
Crown Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum was his best friend. The only person who ever seemed to understand him.
And also his ‘intended’ target.
So Prompto exists in this life of constant secrecy and repetition. And when his best friend’s three-day birthday festival and ball is brought to life throughout the kingdom, all he wants to do is be there to support him.
That is his only wish, until the idea of leisurely fun at the festival is scraped from his mind upon hearing his family’s plan of action.
Loqi was to assassinate the prince within those three days. And Prompto was banned from interfering.
So naturally, he’s granted the opportunity to attend and save the life of his friend due to a mysterious stranger in their downstairs garden.
Imagine his surprise when this leads him into the arms of three men on each night of this festival.
Three beautiful nights.
Is that all it takes to erase the past? To forgive Prompto for every horrible thing he’d ever been trained to do?
Just three nights?
——————————————-
This isn’t the official summary don’t worry, these are just my thoughts on the plot so far. I hear that ffxv has been brought back to life a bit recently so here I am trying to help the noble cause.

TITLE: Until Darkness Descends
CHAPTER: 19
RATING: Explicit
FANDOM: Final Fantasy XV
PAIRING: Ardyn Izunia x Reader
“For the last time I can handle it.” You said. The puncture wound on your left shoulder throbbed and pulsed like a beating heart. But you gritted your teeth against the pain and continued to suck the poison out of your body with your healing energy. The product of your endeavor glistened on your forehead.
The poison surged through your body like a lightning bolt. Your vision doubled and your tongue felt like lead in your mouth. It was bad enough that you were losing focus, and fast, but your comrades insisted on bickering at you as though you had enough mental energy to spare.
Yellow liquid bubbled to the surface, but refused to escape your wound. You applied more energy to your palm, eyebrows creased together, and your limbs vibrating with the effort.
Gladiolus scoffed, “handle it, my ass. You just got hit by a scorpion, who knows how poisonous it is.”
“Yeah, don’t you think you should see a doctor?” Prompto interjected.
“Wouldn’t hurt to go.” Noctis agreed.
A stab of frustration zipped through your chest. Did they really think that lowly of your abilities? You’re a healer, bestowed with the ability to handle worse injuries than this, and yet they insisted on crowding around you like a bunch of worried hens. You bit down on the inside of your cheek, your stomach swirled with worry. If they regarded your powers this lowly now then what would happen in the near future? Would they not trust you with an even more critical situation?
The thought soured your gums. You had to prove to them that you could handle anything. What was the point of being their designated healer if you didn’t have their trust? You powered through the fatigue that locked you in a tight embrace. The skin around your eyes felt tight against your skull and your fingertips burned from the exertion.
When they said something else, you sucked your teeth and grimaced. “I don’t need a doctor. I am more than capable of handling this on my own.”
“We’re not questioning your capabilities, Aera.” Came Ignis’ satiny smooth voice, “only suggesting that you confer with someone who has more knowledge on this type of poison than you do.”
“Iggy’s right, you shouldn’t take chances on something like this.” Gladiolus said.
Their words fell on deaf ears. You fumbled the ball on your first real battle, you couldn’t risk giving up on your first real emergency. If you did then the boys would never trust you to look after them.
Air bubbles burst in your head. The orange landscape somersaulted as darkness devoured your vision. When you opened your eyes you were on the ground in your boyfriend’s arms.
           “Aera!” Prompto cried.
            “Are you alright?” Ignis asked.
Gladiolus frowned, “that’s it, I’m taking you to a hospital.” He said, the sharp edge in a voice left no room for debate.
Lifting you from the ground, Gladiolus began his trek back to Hammerhead with the boys in tow. You felt so stupid and useless. This was your one and only chance at proving your worth to your friends, proving you were worth the crown’s investment, and you blew it. Your hands vibrated like an angry rattlesnake in your lap.
You thought you'd gotten stronger. All the time you’ve spent in the royal courts, all the training you’ve endured, all wasted in a blink of an eye and all because of that nasty migraine that tore through your skull. But you didn’t understand, you haven’t suffered from a migraine in two whole years, so why now?
What had changed, what triggered it? The image of that enigmatic figure towering over the scene of the fight, plastered itself onto your brain. That person you thought you saw, was that really Ardyn or just a figment of your imagination? You swallowed. Hallucinations were never something you had to contend with before, but apparently you have to deal with them now since whatever you saw wasn’t truly there.
Your scalp squeezed your skull. A needle punctured your temple, bringing with it another piercing earth shattering throb. You groaned and became boneless in Gladiolus’ arms. The small town peeked through the desert haze. Before you knew it, you were back at Cid’s garage.
The man in question scowled upon seeing you and your friends. “Back so soon, huh?” He said. “Either yer tougher than you look or you botched the job, so which is it?”
“Uh, neither?”, came Prompto’s perplexed reply.
Gladiolus took a step into the garage, along with the others. The line between your brows smoothed out the moment you were out of the sun’s glaring sight. But your skin was still sticky from the heat, the stifling dry air in the garage did nothing to abate the sweat that slid down your legs.
“We’re still on the job but my girl got hurt, know where the closest hospital is?” Gladiolus said.
The old man scoffed. “There ain’t no hospitals around these parts, that’s for city livin’”.
“Then what should we do? Aera’s hurt!” Prompto cried, his blond brows pulled together in worry.
“Calm down, we have a doctor,” was Cid’s vexed reply. “Leave her here and I’ll make a call.” His crotchety tone rolled over you in waves, you couldn’t believe he was a former acquaintance of the crown. How did king Regis, one of the most polite and kind people you knew, ever associate himself with someone as cantankerous as Cid?
Gladiolus turned towards the others. “You guys go on ahead, I’ll stay here and make sure Aera’s good.”
“In that case we’ll stay too.” Prompto chirped, he turned towards prince Noctis. “No teammates left behind right, Noct?”
Before Noctis could reply, Cid said, “Don’t waste yer breath. Yer friend ain’t gonna keel over from a little scorpion poisoning.” Was it so obvious you were injured by a scorpion? You supposed that would be the most likely conclusion anyone would arrive at, given the gaping hole in your shoulder and the extermination contract in the prince’s hands. “Worse case she’ll be paralyzed in some places come noon. Y’all best run along, medical bills ain’t cheap.”
          “But-”.
Noctis sighed, cutting off his blond friend’s response. “Let’s just get this over with.” He said, crossing his arms in front of his chest. He addressed you next. “We’ll be back, Aera.”
Gladiolus sat you down in the back of the garage where the fluorescent lights didn’t reach. His strong calloused hand brushed the hair away from your face. “We won’t be long, babe.” He promised and kissed you on your forehead.
Something shattered in your chest at the sight of friends disappearing through the sepia haze. You should be there with them. This wasn’t supposed to happen, you weren’t supposed to get injured. Entering the Lucian courts, from day one, it was drilled into you to never get hurt. Keep your distance while your comrades are engaged in combat. You understood the importance of your role as your friends’ healer. If anything were to happen to you, it could equal doom for anyone who depended upon your skills.
As if you haven’t learned the lesson before, you went and committed the biggest error you could’ve possibly made. You slouched in your chair. Anything could happen to Noctis and the others out there and here you were, sitting inside a swelteringly hot garage with an injured shoulder. The attack was avoidable. If only you didn’t get distracted, you would still be out there fighting alongside your comrades. You wonder what they must think of you now.
‘Do you really believe they would keep you in their little boys’ club the moment you become an inconvenience’? The memory of your dream filled your heart with lead. If they begin to view you as a liability what would that mean for you? Your place by their side, your purpose? Marching fiery ants stomped through your chest. Would they even view you as their friend anymore?
The minutes ticked by at a mind-numbingly slow pace. By the time the town’s doctor visited you your arm was completely numb. After injecting you with an antidote he told you you should gradually regain feeling and mobility in your left arm over the next seven days, meaning you were completely useless until then.
A boulder dropped into the pit of your stomach. You couldn’t afford to be away from the action for that long. If anything were to happen to the prince, or Gladiolus, or anyone else you would never forgive yourself. Your throat constricted as though it was being stitched closed from the inside.
It’ll be fine. You told yourself, taking a large inhale before exhaling the stale air. Nothing bad would happen. Your friends would be fine, your arm would be completely healed by the beginning of next week, and you’ll be back in action better than ever.
The muscles in your throat relaxed and you sighed. By seven p.m tomorrow, you and the boys would be onboard the ferry heading for Altissa. Everything should be smooth sailing from there. Sure, it would suck having a dangling useless arm at your side during the wedding, but everything should go smoothly nonetheless. At least you hoped it would.

Abandon all hope, ye Chosen King.
Ignis has finally had enough of Noct's picky eating and recruited Gladio and Prompto for a little "rebellion".

hi hi this is @banananami !!! you said to send anything to you so ^_^
i’ve been thinking about how it must be sooo hard to do anything alone with the chocobros significant other???? like trying to flirt or go on a date or anything like that because the other guys are there or will try tag along or something like that 😭😭😭 i feel like this would happen to ignis the most idk why 😭😭😭 i was gonna write something on this but i couldn’t portray it right 😭
❝Hmm, I see..❞
Tumblr media
[(A/N): OMG ABSOLUTELY HAHA. And I totally agree that it would happen Ignis.]
Tags: Nothing major, just some banter. I decided to make this a little drabble if that's okay. (It's mostly Ignis though.)
Tumblr media
Ignis would try to tolerate it at first. Keyword, try. He truly cares for the guys to death and if you're okay with it, he probably won't bat an eye. I mean, if you wanted them to tag along sometimes, he probably will allow it.
But he does have a limit, after all he does want to spend time with his significant other by himself. And definitely the kind to voice it to them with max composure.
As for the others, Gladio is kinda similar to Ignis. He'll tolerate the others for a bit but will eventually be like "Hey, do you mind?"
I think Noctis will lose it after a bit. Again, he loves the guys to bits but jeez, let him have some privacy with his significant other, damn it!
Poor baby Prompto may have a hard time saying something for a while. But since the guys usually do everything together, he's kinda used to it.

Risen from the Dead
Hello all! I stumbled upon this old Tumblr page during a moment where I have felt a rekindling for the FFXV fandom. I absolutely love this game and these characters! I fear that it's slowly dying!
With that being said, I will try to contribute more to this account and fandom! I've been writing so much and forgot I have this to share my work! So I'll try to post here some more! I've also noticed that I have asks that I never had seen, so I will get to those as well!
Life has changed significantly for all of us, and I know the world needs more positivity. I would like to help in anyway I can! So feel free to ask me for special writing requests and I will be sure to get to them! I use this game as an outlet for my stress, depression and every other problem I face. And I know many others use this game as an escape as well— and like everyone, I've always craved more. More of the boys, more story, backstory, in depth exploration of our characters and so much more! I hope to deliver this with a series of my writing.
I absolutely love Ignis, so most of my work is geared towards him and exploring everything about him! But I can write for just about anyone! Whatever you want, I will try to deliver!
I'm sorry for the 5 year hiatus— but I'm back, and ready to give this a shot again!
Stay safe and stay healthy! Welcome back to FFXV hell, With your host— Rosie!

Lay All Your Love On Me (Chapter XII)
Chapter I. II. III. IV. V. VI. VII. VIII. IX. X. XI.
The gears begin turning...
Word Count: 2k
Rating: T?
Content: Manipulation, general creepiness, fluff and angst, reincarnation, (brief) graphic depictions of violence
Author's note: Heyyyyy lol sorry for the late update and sorry for the lack of posts. I'm moving cross country soon so I'm busier than normal. Also I want to make it very clear that Ardyn and Reader are unreliable narrators! I figured I'd put that disclaimer because sometimes that's harder to figure out.

“I think I love you.”
The sweet words ring out in the room like a gunshot. It must have been, after all, with the way his heart clenches and soars in his chest as a grin grows on his face.
It’s different from the way she said it, full of hesitance and a raw innocence that nearly brings him to his knees. Your cheeks are dark, your teeth gnawing at your plush bottom lip while you try to resist fidgeting. The adoration that flows through him at the sight is hot and all-consuming like a rain of holy fire. He’s flooded with the need to feel you, to hold you in his hands and never let you go.
He surges forward on pure instinct, flipping your positions so he can fit his hand against your waist as he kisses you into the couch. You feel perfect underneath him, and for a moment he wonders if you were handcrafted just for him.
It takes almost everything in him to pull away from your lips, now swollen and glossy.  “You have absolutely no idea how ecstatic that makes me darling,” He sighs. “I’ve loved you since the second I saw you.”
You visibly light up at the words. The way you preen under his touch has his heart soaring again. You let out a sweet giggle, and he’s shocked for a moment when you initiate, pressing a quick peck to his lips before flopping back onto the couch.
As wonderful and righteous that the love burning in his veins feels, there is an equally dark part of him that only seems to grow. He wants to possess you, to be your everything the same way you are his. The sick satisfaction that runs through him when the neckline of your dress drops just enough for him to see the lovebite he left on your skin is addicting. He wants everyone to know you are his, a queen to be coveted and admired from afar.
He’ll drape you in the kingdom’s finest jewels and silks, anything you’ll ask for will be yours. He’ll bring every Lucian to their knees at your feet as you sit on the throne, its rightful rulers. He’ll give you a life of luxury and safety, you’ll want for nothing.
Sometimes his thoughts take a darker turn. Part of him yearns to keep you inside forever, trapped away from prying eyes to only be coveted by him. Sometimes the image of you chained to the bed comes unbidden into his mind, and his fantasies run away with his mind before he can even think to stop them.
He’ll build you your own perfect room in the Citadel looking over your kingdom. He’ll bring you all the books and entertainment you want, and you’ll look after the home while he’s gone. Of course, only his key would be able to unlock the door. He’ll make you something more fashionable than that clunk chain, something dainty and beautiful against your skin. You’ll want for nothing.
Because all you’ll want is him.
He connects your lips in another kiss and it takes everything in him not to give in to the urge to consume you, to be everything you’ll ever think about. His fingers dig into the plush of your hips as he fights to contain himself.
He knows he isn’t a good man, at least not anymore. But, something makes him want to try for you.
But a good man doesn’t kidnap women, doesn’t lie, doesn’t kill, doesn’t keep women captive, doesn’t punish sons for the sins of their fathers.
But he isn’t a good man.
And yet here you are, kissing him as your hands roam over his arms. You’ve chosen to love him despite his shortcomings, despite the vacuous hole in his heart. A good man would be patient with you and wait for you to be ready before taking you.
He can play the part of a good man. For now.
It almost feels redeeming, the way your mouth moves against him. You hold him with a gentleness he’s never known, your every touch and kiss addictingly sweet. You treat him the way no human would. Your hands are gentle and adoring against his arms where you cling to his biceps, the warmth of your palms seeping through the fabric of his coat. You look at him with adoration and love he’d long become resigned to never seeing again on the face of another.
Despite everything, you’re here.
He forces himself to pull away from your lips, holding back a smirk at your heavy breaths and flushed face.
“One day you will be the death of me, darling,” He mutters. He flips you again, not sure how much willpower he has left when you look so tempting under him. You take the change in stride, and he smiles as he feels you settle against him again. Your face is snuggled into the junction between his neck and shoulder, your hair tickling against his chin.
(You’re half hiding your face from embarrassment and half because you’re not quite sure what to do, but he doesn’t need to know that. After all, it’s not every day you get kissed silly by the Imperial Chancellor. At least not yet.)
He almost freezes as he feels your fingers gently comb through his hair, your nails dragging against his scalp. It’s so tender, so intimate that he feels the urge to push you off him. To run, like he’s been doing for so long.
Since Verstael found him in that cursed place so long ago he’s always been performing. Whether it was the role of scientist, socialite, confidant, or strategist he’d played every role to perfection. He’d fashioned masks to cover his darkness, never becoming too attached to anyone throughout his time with the Empire.
Everyone was simply a tool to him. Verstael is merely a means to an end, a pest he continues to favor for his influence and resources. The Emperor is nothing more than a puppet he whispers honeyed words to. After all, royal politics has changed so little through the ages. He’d learned to never grow too attached to anyone by focusing only on his plans, becoming all work and no play. It was simply a game, and he was only playing to win.
Until you.
The amount of love he feels terrifies him, consuming him in a destabilizing flash of fear. The thought of you leaving, of someone taking you, rips his heart in two. It’s a frightening feeling, and he resists the urge to run that had been so deeply ingrained in him for so many years. But he refuses to let that happen, refuses to let you suffer the same fate as her.
And so instead he forces himself to relax into the touch of your fingers in his hair, your hands tentative as they explore. Your hands are gentle as they card through his long auburn locks. The faint scratch of your nails against his scalp has him preening like a cat as he presses a kiss to the top of your head.
“I love you, darling, always and forever.”
-
You’re fast asleep on top of Ardyn, nestled into his many layers of clothing like a happy cat. He isn’t sure how long you’ve been together like this; Maybe minutes, maybe hours. He’s been basking in the warmth of your touch, running his hands gently over every dip and curve of your body reverently as your chest rises and falls.
You’re different. He hadn’t allowed himself to think about it, about her in years. He still remembers watching her be cut down, blood staining her white gown as she’d collapsed and the life had been sucked from her veins.
It’s undeniable that you’re different, both physically and mentally from your predecessor. You have a fire in you, a spirit sharpened and honed from a cold and hard life. You are a tempered blade, tested and true.
When he had first seen you, he hadn’t known how to feel about your differences. He’d worried you’d be different, that this was all some cruel trick by the gods.
But he’d seen the cracks in your armor when you’d sneak out behind the barracks to feed a stray cat the scraps of your dinner, or when you helped a comrade to the infirmary. It was the same sweetness and love he had seen all those centuries ago, but something about it was so uniquely you.
And after all, who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth?
-
“Are we seriously going to do nothing?” Prompto says incredulously, and Ignis sighs as Gladio shakes his head.
“Iggy and I have a duty to Noct first, Prompto,” Gladio points out, sizing up the younger man as his agitation grows.
“I know!” He whines, throwing up his hands in desperation. “But we can’t just leave her with that maniac! I mean seriously, who knows what that sicko is doing to her!”
“She understood the risks when she agreed to accompany us, Prompto. She swore the same oath to the crown as all of us,” Ignis retorts tiredly, rubbing his uninjured temple with a gloved hand.
The blond balks at his words, sputtering frustratedly. “Yeah, but Noct would say the same! You both know this!”
“Yes,” Ignis sighs. “Which is why Gladiolus and I would not be able to allow it. We are intended to help the Chosen King fulfill his duties, not to be hired hands. Part of that duty is sacrifice.”
Prompto knows they’re right, but it doesn’t make him feel any better. Sure, you hadn’t known each other long but he’d grown fond of you over the time you’d spent together. It goes against everything he knows to leave someone behind like this, but what choice do they have?
“I can ask the Marshall to look into it,” Gladio sighs, immediately soothing Prompto’s nerves. He trusts the Marshall, they all do. If they can’t look for you, he’s the next best thing.
“Don’t you think that may be a tad too personal for the Marshall?” Ignis asks, and Prompto’s ears perk up.
“He’s all we have. He’s a professional, he can get the job done,” Gladio replies, already standing up to call the Marshall. Seemingly sensing Prompto’s curiosity, Ignis shakes his head before speaking.
“I do not enjoy divulging the personal matters of my colleagues, but our comrade was raised within the crownsguard by the Marshall and other soldiers. I do not know how close they were if they were at all, but it is always a risk when working with family.”
The revelation shocks Prompto. The Marshall never seemed like a very parental figure, emotionally distant and hardened by years of battle. He can barely imagine the man having a life outside of work, let alone raising a child.
He thinks back to if there were any clues he may have missed. You were miles ahead of him in terms of training, so he’d never seen much of you until you’d been assigned to accompany them. You always seemed alone and standoffish, not like someone who was given preferential treatment.
“Huh.” Is all he can think to reply.
Outside, Gladio grimaces as he asks his superior for help. The Marshall’s tone betrays nothing as he agrees to the request, hanging up before Gladio can get a word in edgewise. Though he knows Ignis is right, guilt eats away at his gut every day. He was supposed to be a protector, and yet he hadn’t been there when you and Noct needed him most.
But he can’t dwell on that now, not when he has a duty to fulfill. He can’t fail now, not when so much is on the line.
He never quite imagined the price of duty would be this steep.
