afternoon walk during midterms (13 march 2025)

been going through midterms (hopefully for the last time !!! since i'm a college senior in their last semester) and it's been tough. midterms always are, but this one just felt so so extraordinarily heavy and my mood has been so bad for weeks. but yesterday something wonderful happened. after going through my social sciences midterm exam, i found out 2 things i had been ardently manifesting for came to be true !! my second class yesterday announced that it was going to be asynchronous, giving me an opportunity to attend a women's month talk in my uni that i'd been wanting to go to (plus attending it would get me bonus points for one of my subjects<33). and my presentation that i've been dreading because i still feel so woefully unprepared for it no matter how long and hard i've worked on it was getting moved !! i walked out of that women's talk with my friend feeling so inspired, and my mood got even more lifted as we walked and observed the campus. it looks so much better when you're taking a leisurely stroll in the afternoon instead of when you're zooming through the halls to make sure you're not late to your next class AHAHAHAHA anyways yes in the middle of the night—probably when i was supposed to be doing my assigned reading—i just started writing this. it's nice to have a reminder that no matter how horrible things can seem, they also always have the opportunity to get better when you least expect it :>>
