The villain appears around the corner at a run, their hair still wet and their coat ridiculously crumpled. The hero raises an eyebrow at them as they practically skid to a halt in front of them.

“Sorry I’m late,” they say between ragged breaths.

“You’re fifteen minutes late,” the hero points out with a pointed check of their watch, “to your own crime.”

“To my crime?” the villain echoes indignantly. “Why would you invite me to my own crime?”

That barely makes sense to the hero. They root through their pocket and shove a tiny piece of paper in the villain’s face.

The villain’s eyes scan over the paper with an increasingly confused frown. “You told me to meet you here, and I have—even though you were, y’know, fifteen minutes late.”

“[Hero],” the villain says slowly. “This isn’t my writing.”

All accusations lining up in the hero’s mind grind to a halt. “Excuse me?”

“This– This isn’t my writing,” they repeat a little more intensely. They rummage through their coat for a moment, slapping a scrap of paper against the hero’s chest. “Did you write that?”

The hero pries the little piece of paper open.

meet me at the back of the bank at 6:30pm. not a fight. - Hero

“I didn’t write that,” the hero says automatically.

“What the hell is going on?” the villain demands. It seems to be aimed more at the air than the hero, but they feel inclined to answer regardless.

“I don’t know,” they say uselessly. “Someone wanted to bring us together. They knew we’d answer each other.”

They gesture with the note for emphasis. “Jesus Christ,” the villain says flatly. “It’s a two-for-one deal. We’re going to die.”

“We’re not going to die, [Villain],” the hero snaps, but the way the villain is glancing over their shoulder is making them want to do the same. 

The villain’s face twitches into some kind of horrible acceptance of fate for a moment. They open their mouth, their breath misting in the evening air as they gear up to probably say something stupid, but a voice cuts them off.

“Isn’t this a nice little gathering?” the henchman says brightly. “I’m glad you both came.”

Just had a thought. How much would you bet that after the whole Dracula deal is said and done, Johnathan and Mina make a series of code phrases. Nothing noteworthy. "It has been a fine day" maybe. "It reminds me of traveling the country". Things like that.

Someone could catch a letter in shorthand, after all, even if they can't read it. Much harder to find fault with some meaningless pleasantries to a beloved spouse.

Btw guys. The grass and trees on the northern side of Faraway Town are greener than the ones on the southern side. I think this is, alongside the size of the houses and people living in them along with the noticeable size of the homeless population, a subtle hint at class divide.

Tomura: so like, hero and villain names used to be given to people by their sworn enemies in the old days— like, you know, probably around the time period that sensei grew up in. Not that that’s relevant or anything. Anyway, people also started using hero and villain names to hide away parts of themselves and create alter egos— and that’s part of the reason why so many people have trouble distinguishing fact from fiction and treat this world like it’s a comic book. None of that applies to me though! So I don’t need a villain name lol.

half of people say that guilty is about taemin killing all his bunkmates, and half of people say its about him turning them all gay, but theyre kind of the same thing when u look at thru the lens of guilt = sin, and in his eyes hes "damned them" by turning them to a life of homosexuality (but for real this time). also the "guilty pleasure" aspect where pleasure = sin and vice versa. everyone he touches becomes gay (gives in to pleasure), and by association becomes "guilty" (sinful), and at the same time he has his own guilt about making them that way, tho hes kinda like "welp, it is what it is" about it. its all so extremely gay catholic in that way.

Remember when this video came out there were people who heard the voice at the end and thought the voice was either Sammy or the Ink Demon? Man, those were the days. However with all due respect, I'm glad neither case was right in the end lol.

On this day 5 years ago, "Unknown - April 14th" was posted on YouTube, which means it's been 5 damn years since we first heard from Wilson...

It's interesting to think that even though it's been 5 years, we've only known who Wilson really is for 2 years now (or more appropriately, 1 year and 5 months of those 5 years). Of course, now, after BATDR was released, we know who he is and what his place is in the Bendy universe. But between April 1, 2019 and November 1, 2022, all we knew about him was that he…existed. He was someone - someone bad apparently - who sounded old and who would have some relevance in the plot of Dark Revival. And that's it. We had no name, no appearance, nothing. He was someone, but we didn't know who.

It's no wonder he was only referred to as "Unknown" by fans during these 3 and a half years.

In the end, I would say that this drawing is a mix of 2 things. The first being the result of an idea I've had for a while, which is basically making a drawing in relation to the original video/"unknown" tape, but this time with Wilson, since now we know it was recorded by him. Plus it's been 5 years since the original upload,5 years of Wilson. I think this would be the perfect time to do this.

And second, a strange kind of redux/homage/"final chapter" in this kind of "collection" of drawings I did between 2019 and 2022 all based on the idea of "the unknown weirdo from BATDR saying How Very Interesting Such Knowledge" and so on. All of them having other characters in mind in the role of the Unknown. And now, here I am, redoing this idea again, only with The Man Himself this time. The real Unknown. Now as the Known, so to speak.

Going back to what I said before, you can see this drawing as a kind of farewell to this particular idea that I've kind of repeated over the years, as I've now done it again only with Wilson this time. (Does this mean I'll never draw this concept/line of thought again? I mean, I assume so. But there's no guarantee I can't make something similar again down the line. Who knows what the future holds. We will see what happens in the next 5 years.)

But,yeah. 5 years of Such Knowledge™.

please let it be known: if you don't realize my nsfw tags (which are linked via my pinned post) are what they are, then let the Read More be its own hint. i only put sexual content and extreme leaning violence and what not under a cut.

i do my best to meet a bare minimum requirement because tbh, if you're here, you have to accept responsibility that this blog posts content you may not vibe with. i make it apparent and clear as possible. whether it's the warning in my pinned post, my rules, or me outright IMing a blog that follows me to check and make sure they are cool after i've read their own rules. i make the effort. -_- it's true, i prefer now to write most of that stuff on discord - because regardless of having tags and what not, people want to make it my problem that they have to view my content (sarcasm). which is hilarious. and that's all the more reason i remind people i'm more active on discord, because i feel less restrained. and that's not just for writing smut and violence, that's for writing shorter roleplays or longer and extensive ones, too. for plots where mortem is the villain, or working with one, or any number of things from her verses or otherwise.

i never had this issue years ago when i was in my horror circle of writing. and i'm not complaining about doing a bare minimum of tags to warn others, or putting things under a read more (which i've always done in general), or even asking ooc if they are actually chill with the content here. but i find it frustrating (when it's not amusing) that the warnings given on this blog and those little efforts still result in others feeling entitled to tell me how to behave in my space.

ive never been a big ffan of headcanoning a "big" gender change for canon characters (ie making a canonically female character trans male or something) UNTIL. until. i saw strong sad. that fucking thing is so transgender it actually radiates off of her. you know how people accidentally make really obviously autistic characters? the brother chaps did that but with being so fucking transgender. i dont know how they did it. strong sad is the most transgender thing ive ever seen in my entire life
