Tolling with 2 Ideas for the Doctor Hamada comic and I need help deciding.

Hiro is going to die. That’s not changing. But HOW , or, more accurately, how SOON he dies is the question.

The original plan was for him to die in the fire that killed Tadashi in the Big Hero 6 Movie. The question is, however, does he, well, explode into pieces, or should I give an emotional scene with doctor-in-training tadashi trying to save his beloved little brother, after running in the building after the explosion,… Tadashi preforming every life saving technique he knows.

Before he is forced off of the boy, crying and screaming for Hiro as the white sheet is placed over the lifeless boy’s body, being rolled away on a gurney.

When Eddie gets stressed, about anything, he makes grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was what Wayne gave him the first night he stayed with him (Eddie was six, but that doesn't make the memory any less impactful). So Eddie makes grilled cheese when he's stressed, it's his comfort meal.

Eddie just wanted to cry. He'd spent the last two nights working at his friend Gareth's tattoo parlor (he's proud to be a jack-of-all-trades, and after his two-year apprenticeship he was damn good at tattooing), then working on the story for his most recent game project. Sleep was a distant memory, and Steve was working overtime at the hospital, so he couldn't even cuddle his favorite person. He just sat on the couch, staring at his favorite armchair like it held the answers to his struggle. He's struggling just to keep himself from going to dark places, and then-

Steve stumbles out of his room. Steve had messaged that he'd gotten home earlier than expected, but it was using perfect grammar so Eddie knows it had been a rough day. (Steve liked to text like a teenager straight from a high school textbook; "to annoy my little brother" he would claim, but he thought it was funny) And Steve is not dressed in his sleeping pajamas, he's wearing the shortest shorts known to man and an enormously oversized Hawkins PD sweatshirt. Eddie instantly forgets about being upset or grilled cheese or even that he's supposed to filter his thoughts.

"Gay- I mean, hey, Steve, how're you to thighs-night, tonight!" He stammers, and Steve rubs his eye with one of his sweater paws, that bastard.

"Three twelve hour shifts and there was a car accident outside. I'm clinically dead for the next week." Steve had the gall to yawn, scratching at his tummy and shuffling to the kitchen. "'M hungry, what should we make?"

Eddie can't articulate his preferred meal, he has a perfect view of Steve's unfairly perfect ass, currently at his eye level (thank you, La-Z-Boy chair, Eddie knew he was right when he said that it would change his life), and Steve is already dropping ingredients onto the counter. "Nevermind, I want cheese."

"Soup, too?"

"Aww, Ed's, you had a tough day too? We can make brownies. And watch the Chucky movie?"

"Sweetheart, it's called Child's Play." Eddie tried to focus on a rant, but that stupid fucking nurse arched to pop his back and showed off a strip of his tummy. "I'm too gay for this." He mutters frantically.

Steve makes him grilled cheese and heats up some tomato soup from a can, but once he pulls brownies out of the oven, he conks out on the sofa, swaddled in a blanket he crocheted with cute little pokemon. Eddie almost cries, twice, but ultimately he just takes fifty pictures and adds it to the "Too Fucking Cute" folder in his phone. (Spoiler: it's full of Steve. He's even got a picture of Steve cuddling a stuffed Baymax)

But here I go, how would the adoptive family of the teenager from Record of Ragnarok react to her showing up with a real Baymax complete with charging station?

This was such a cute idea!

-You received a suitcase from one of your friends, asking you to test it out and give him feedback. Tadashi was always a talented person, with a bright and creative mind, and his newest invention, Baymax, was in the final testing stages. Now all that needed to be done was test it.

-He had several prepared for many of his classmates, wanting their opinions on his invention.

-You saw it in action at school, it was brilliant but at the same time, it looked so cute and cuddly!!

-When you arrived home with the large case under your arm, “I’m home~!” you heard a few voices call out as your struggled to get inside without dropping the case, which you managed to do after a few moments.

-You walked into the living room and eyes went to you as you set the case down, eyes went from the case to you, wondering what it was before you pulled your bag off, “This is Baymax, one of the projects my friend Tadashi made. He asked me to bring one home and try it out with all of you.”

-Loki popped up behind you, his arms wrapping around your neck, hugging you, “So what’s a Baymax?” Nikola approached the case eagerly, like a kid on Christmas, as you answered, “Tadashi described Baymax as a personal healthcare provider attendant, to put it simple, Baymax is a robotic nurse.”

-Sparkles and roses surrounded Tesla as he spun on you, eyes beaming brightly, “Can we see him?!” you can’t help but giggle before you pull out the manual and flip through it for a moment before you turn to Loki, “I need you to hurt someone, just enough to-” SLAP!!!

-Lu Bu leapt up, turning on Loki, “Ow! You bastard!” the case beeped and slowly opened and all attention turned to what could only be described as a walking marshmallow, inflate himself before stepping out of the case.

-Loki was wide eyed, floating around Lu Bu as Zeus was stroking his beard, “What in the world have you humans made now?” Baymax approached Lu Bu, who was standing, and he began to speak after lifting a hand in greeting, “Hello, I am Baymax, a personal healthcare companion. I was altered to the need of medical attention when you said ‘ow’.”

-Tesla was gushing while many of the others had stood to circle Baymax, inspecting him, Eve poked his arm, “Oh- he’s so soft!”

-On Baymax’s belly, a screen appeared, “On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?” Lu Bu’s eyes were twitching lightly, looking over at you and you gave him a smile, motioning him to go along with it.

-After running through he scans and applying some antibacterial spray to Lu Bu’s chest, where a red handprint was still visible, several members in the room couldn’t help but snicker as Lu Bu took the lollipop, shadows covering his eyes before you spoke, “Thank you Baymax, we are satisfied with your care.”

-Baymax thanked us and went back to his case, deflating and boxing himself back up.

-Everyone was silent for a moment before you instantly found yourself in Tesla’s arms, his eyes sparkling up at you before you giggled, “You can study him, but don’t take him apart. And I can ask Tadashi if you can come to the lab again.” His cheeks was instantly rubbing against your own, thanking you.

-It was definitely a weird week with Baymax, you asked your family to try him out as much as possible, not to purposely injure themselves, as he was able to help with emotional and mental issues as well, as you wanted plenty of feedback.

-When you went back to Tadashi, you left Baymax at home, as he had become a member of the family and Tadashi couldn’t help but laugh, telling you that the other five people he asked all said the same thing, but that’s what he wanted.

-Tadashi was then surprised when Tesla popped up again beside you and began to praise his invention. It wasn’t the first time these two had met and they were quickly in a deep discussion as you waved at them, heading for the campus café for some coffee before class.

Headcannon: MC is left with chronic pain after absorbing the magic

You first notice it a couple days after the battle. It starts off as random shooting pains through your limbs that you try to ignore

Then it becomes a constant ache in all of your muscles

The nurse can do nothing to help so you just try to deal with it

You theorise that absorbing the magic meant absorbing all the pain that Isadora took from people

Some days are worse than others

On bad days, you curse how many stairs there are and why the school is so big. Your brain fog makes it too hard to use the floo flames

You try to hide it but your friends notice that you occasionally cringe, twitch or groan when moving around

You go to the room of requirement after classes on a bad day, and there’s a comfy bed waiting for you along with a hot water bottle

Deek knows what you need based on how bad you rate the pain that day (1-10, he’s like your personal Baymax)

He makes herbal teas and gets you sleeping draughts when you need it

One day, you’re in class experiencing a particularly bad flare up. You keep moving around in your chair, hoping no one notices your obvious discomfort

Sebastian has been watching you for days now, and recognises the subtle changes on your face when something hurts

He tells the professor he’s taking you to the nurse, and you’re too tired to protest

As you leave the classroom, he realises that you’re walking in a different direction. He questions you, but you’re too dazed to respond so he just follows you to the room of requirement

You let him in and he takes a moment to look around in wonder, before realising that you had disappeared into another room. He finds you face down on your bed and tries to convince you to go to the nurse

You tell him that there’s nothing she can do to help, and decide to tell him everything

He’s heartbroken at how much you’re hurting, reminding him of Anne’s curse

He asks if there’s anything he can do, and you ask him to hold you

You talk about why you didn’t want to tell anyone, how you didn’t want to burden your friends, and he convinces you to let them in so they can help you

He holds you and you fall asleep, his body acting like a hot water bottle relaxing your aching muscles

You start opening up to your friends, allowing them to help you

Natty and Poppy are always there to offer their arm when you’re struggling with all the stairs

Ominis reads to you to provide a distraction

Garreth always offers to give you piggyback rides from one class to another when walking is too much

Imelda will fight anyone who implies that you’re faking it

Anne sends you a letter, giving you advise on breathing techniques that may help you through a bad flare up

And Sebastian learns a heating charm so that he can immediately make your hot water bottle the perfect temperature

Tadashi Hamada (Big Hiro 6) - Extra

“Hey nerds.”

Tadashi smiles when you walk into his lab.

You ruffled Hiro’s hair as you walked into the room and he swatted your hand away.

“Ha ha very funny. Don’t forget I can build laser rays.” Hiro states.

You dangle a bag in front of him and now his focus changes.

“Guess I’ll have to give someone else these gummy bears then. “ He rushes at you, but you keep him back, pushing at his forehead.

“Say please.”

“Please!!!” You hand him the bag and he cheers, running off to possible mess with Honey Lemon and the others. Tadashi laughs.

“You really shouldn’t give him so much sweets. “

“Your aunt owns a pastry shop.”

“Fair point.”

You giggle, eyes running over the many drawings he has littered on his desk. Tadashi is at the desk, drawing up some more blueprints.

“Whatcha doing?”

“More upgrades for Baymax. Hiro has this crazy idea to make him into a ninja robot.”

“That’s actually pretty smart. Who doesn’t love a ninja nurse?”

“Right!”

Tadashi chuckles. He’s a bit distracted by his current assignment. You take a breath, dropping the letter on the table in front of him. He pauses for a second, looking down at it. The university insignia is the first thing he takes notice of.

“(Y/N) is that..”

You nod, rubbing your neck a bit bashfully.

“It’s not a super genius college like SFIT, but they’re good. I finally have the letter. I got accepted.” The change on his face is so fast. He practically jumps out of his seat.

“THIS IS AWESOME I KNEW YOU WOULD GET IN!!”

You’re unprepared when he lifts you into the air spinning your around. He looks so proud and when he finally puts you down, you just sort of stare at him.

“You’re amazing (Y/N), I can’t wait to see what you do. If you ever need help studying you know I got you.”

He's still going on a rant on how great this all is. He picks up the letter reading it enthusiastically. You’ve sort of tuned out all the words, all you see is him.

“Are you planning to move into the dorms? If you need help with your stuff I can help. Just say the word.”

It’s crazy how he seems more hyped than you.

“We’re also going to have a mandatory meeting every month. Just to make sure you don’t go pummeling the other students. Don’t even try to talk me out of it. I’ll be there everyday if I have to.”

“I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere.

That’s what he’d said to you when everything felt so hopeless. It’s been two months since then and you’ve never been happier. Maybe it’s because you have closure. As misguided as your father’s view was, you know now that he loved you.

That was enough.

Tadashi, Hiro and all your friends have been there to help you through it all. You were thriving, and it was thanks to Tadashi. There was so much pain that you were carrying, and he stood by your side. He waited until you were ready to talk, he stayed true to his words.

He didn’t leave.

“I love you, Tadashi.”

It leaves your lips before you can stop yourself. It only truly registers when his ramblings stop. He’s now staring right at you, and the redness in his cheeks are what bring you back to earth.

“Umm I..I meant that I…you’re my friend and I..I…”

How do you salvage this?

He’s rubbing the back of his neck, definitely blushing.

“Ah..g-geez that was sudden.”

You shift on your feet.

“S-Sorry."

You feel as though you need to retreat. Tadashi’s hand drops, and he places the letter back on the table. He can see the color that now adorns your cheeks. It makes a smile grow on his face. It would be stupid to pretend your words don’t make him happy. A part of him has been waiting half his life for you to say those words. He just thought he’d be more prepared when it finally happened.

“I love you too.”

His heart gives another strum at how adorably shocked you look. If possible, the color has brightened on your cheeks. If your breaths were matched right now, he wouldn’t even be surprised.

“L-Like love me, love me?”

Your phrasing makes him grin. He moves closer, brushing your hair back so he can fully look at you. He doesn’t want to miss a thing.

“Yes. I love you (Y/N). I want to be here for you, in every way. If you’ll let me.”

He takes your hand, and you’re convinced the whole world can hear your heartbeat.

“I-I’d like that.” His smile widens.

“So would I.”

Wow.

This was not how you saw your day going, Not that you’re complaining.

“Ewww!! Are you guys going to kiss!!’ Hiro’s voice startles you. You start waving your hands around.

“W-We weren’t, right Tadashi!!”

You look back at him for some help, but his hand brushes your cheek and he leans in. Your eyes pop open and Hiro gags in the background, immediately leaving the room but you barely hear it. You’re too invested. Your eyes clenched shut, and Tadashi slides a hand gently behind your neck to pull you in as he deepens the kiss just a little. Your hands are trembling from how sudden this has happened. Tadashi pulls back after a few tender seconds. He parts just a little, and your breaths mingle.

“I’m sorry, I’ve been thinking about doing that for so long.”

“I-It’s okay. I-I liked it.”

Leave it to Tadashi to be good at everything.

He links your fingers together, and when he grabs his helmet you’re a bit confused. He begins leading you away.

“W-Where are we going?”

“On a date of course.”

“B-But what about your upgrades?”

“They’re not going anywhere.”

He’s wearing a soft smile, and you follow along a bit dazed.

This would be fun.

- Oh he loves it.

- Literally, Formaggio loves being pampered and cared for by your stand! He’s super reckless sometimes when it comes to missions, and more often than not his stand requires him to come in direct contact with his hits, so he’s always coming back all banged up and bruised. 

- However, he’s always looking forward to this, as whenever he’s injured, your stand comes out and helps! He loves to tease about it, and will gladly take any treats your stand gives him! He’s also probably given it some affectionate abbreviation of its name too!

Illuso

- Acts like he doesn’t care, but he secretly loves it!

- Since Illuso’s stand allows lots of leverage on his side for taking out targets, most of the time your stand manifests to help him he’s got a minor injury. The first time it came out was when you two were prepping lunch together and he cut his hand, and since its kind of been a habit of your stand to manifest when he’s got a small cut or bruise around the base!

- While he won’t take any sweets from your stand, he will begrudgingly thank them and you after it’s healed him up, and while he looks away embarrassed, you know his words hold truth to them. It’s cute!

Pesci

- MY MAN WILL LITERALLY MELT IF YOUR STAND HELPS HEAL HIM- T^T

- Pesci already adores you so much, and you with him! So now that your stand is always coming out to heal him after missions he is literally gets so excited! Its like a second you coming out to help, how could he not adore it?

- Pesci most certainly will be all nervous at first when it comes out to patch him up, but he grows used to it pretty quickly! Will always explain how he got his injuries too, so you can talk together about ways to avoid getting hurt in said ways as well! And of course, he definitely would take a lollipop if your stand ever offered him one!

Prosciutto

- This man will deny it til the end if you ask, but he loves when your stand helps heal him!

- Pros isn’t exactly the most capable of healing himself with his own stand, and has to rely on regular medical equipment if he ever does get injured. However, every since your stand has started healing him, you’re gotten yourself paired with him on missions!

- Obviously he’ll act a bit stubborn and insist on trying to fix himself up himself at first, but slowly lets your stand help him more and more! He won’t take any treats from it, but will give you a little thank you each and every time it brings one for him, its pretty sweet!

Melone

- This man loves your stand so much!

- Now obviously Melone is a little more equipped when it comes to injury, given his stand’s usage and (I’d like to think) his interest in the sciences, including medical, but even some injuries are too much for him to fix, and that’s where you come in!

- While its not often he comes back all beat up, your stand is still there for him if he ever needs it. Often you run your hands through his hair and chide him for being reckless, pulling a laugh from him as your stand heals him. Will almost always accept the lollipop it gives him, and will stick his tongue out at you when he’s finished it, almost always colored from the flavor! 

Ghiaccio

- Also another one who will deny his complete adoration for your stand, but you know he loves it!

- Ghiaccio was and still is very independant, allowing himself to rely on you and the others is still coming to him, but your stand has really helped him to grow more comfortable seeking help! The first time it came out it was after a super serious mission, and since he’s even let it help if he so much as slams his hand on the table too hard!

- Will decline any sweats it offers, but thanks you nevertheless, and after it goes away, will whisper to you his thanks while his face is completely red. You find it endearing, and you know he means what he says. Ghiaccio will never admit how much he loves being healed, but you can see it clear as day!

Risotto

- Won’t say anything while being healed, but will be very appreciative after!

- In truth he’s silent whenever it heals him because its been so long since anyone has tended to him. When Risotto goes on hits, he often goes alone, and thus its his responsibility to mend himself when things get rough. Your stand however, has changed his view on things!

- I’d actually like to think he came from a pretty big and loving family too, so he’d always be helping patch up his younger siblings! When your stand comes out and helps him, it brings him back, and he can’t help but be a smiling mess after! He may decline any treat your stand offers, but know he loves everything else it does!

Sorbet/Gelato

- I’ll admit they’re pretty 50/50 when it comes to your stand, though its not out of cruelty. They appreciate it for helping, but they both also are very loyal to each other, and as such they’re a little insistent on helping each other before your stand. 

- Still, they do love it very much! Your stand most oftentimes comes out when you’re all out on a mission and one receives an injury too serious for the other to repair alone. You and Sorbet/Gelato will hold the other’s hand or arm while your stand heals them, and reassure them that it’s going to be okay!

- They too also do very much like being pampered by it as well. Gelato mayyy get into accidents on purpose at the base just to get a cute bandaid or a free lollipop lol, Sorbet’s a little more independant but he secretly loves getting treats too!

Daisy, Lilith, & Venus in Outlaws Headcanons

Lilith and Daisy join at the same time because besties and Venus is the last to join

Their recruitment basically went like

Daisy: This is my friend Lilith and she's amazing with tech :D!

Lilith: Daisy is great at patching people up

Jason: Okay Lilith's in charge of technology and security and Daisy is our medic and a sometimes field agent

Venus: I'm married to Kyle and he asked me to join because there needs to be an even number of girls

Jason: Field agent

They would soon realize it was both a blessing and a curse to leave someone like Lilith in charge of both tech and security

Lilith is so unserious on comms. Like she's already pretty silly, but being in charge of their communications has really brought out her inner menace

She will bring up the most embarrassing shit at the most inconvenient of times for no reason other than to troll

"I know what Jason and Summer did in the break room" "Lilith, NO-"

Has Jason microchipped not in an abusive way (*glares at Gotham War!Bruce*) but in a funny way. Like "I literally cannot afford for you to get lost because you're tech illiterate" way

As for Daisy, she's the Nurse Joy of the team. She has intermediate medical knowledge and uses her powers to create medicines and remedies

Venus has experience with being on teams: the Star Sapphires, Trifecta, etc so the crackhead energy of the Outlaws is nothing to her

These three are the most terrifying members for different reasons

A lot of people outside the Outlaws don't know that Lilith is basically a Fallen Angel so if someone manages to get past their security by some stroke of luck, then horrors beyond their comprehension await them

Not to mention Lilith has an expansive knowledge of black magic and the dark arts as a whole

Let's not forget the part where Lilith can also just possess the entire Outlaws computer system and become a techno eldritch horror

When Daisy does get called out to the field, she'd get underestimated a lot because a lot of people would chalk her up to being baby Poison Ivy

That is until she actually uses her powers and they realize that hers are grotesque eldritch horrors (Daisy's Persephone slay as Summer says)

Let's say, hypothetically, that Venus still has the SS power ring. Venus's powers as a Star Saphire are unique because her sincere love for her life and others fuels the rings power to the max

One of her powers is crystallization, turning anything she comes in contact with into pure space crystal. This is scary for a number of reasons

If she's going by Boombox at the point she joins the Outlaws then it's even more scary because Boomin' Bot is a mix between Baymax, an Iron Man suit, Pat Dugan's S.T.R.I.P.E mech, Spiderbot, and an Eva unit from NGE all in one

Okay. I literally have not seen Big Hero 6 since it came out in theaters but. Gonna do song analysis of Immortals and the movie with what I remember

^hiro goes to and then battles in illicit robot fight competitions but this leads him to create his robots

^hiro constantly living in both his bug brothers footsteps and also driven by his grief for tadashi- he's living at the end of his brother's life

Sometimes the only payoff for having any faith

It might be your wound, but they're my sutures

^it might be the antagonist's grief for his daughter but what hes using are hiro's robots. or! hiro is the one grieving tadashi but baymax, tadashi's robot, is what helps him

BH6 Snippets--2/24/2024

More work on the sequel to (Not So) Hated by Life Itself today, still poking the name idea for the sequel to see if I like it...in the meantime, been folding a couple of different episodes together, including "Fan-Friction" from season 1, since the team is running around in costume finally:

“Well Karmi and I got to talking earlier,” Honey Lemon said brightly, putting a hand on Karmi’s shoulder.  “Mostly about her fanfic, still think maybe Tall Girl should be called Chem Girl—anyway, really think we bonded over bio stuff Karmi you should sit with us.” Hiro grimaced, kind of glad that Karmi at least looked horrified at that notion as well, although the cake definitely went to Obake with his face buried in his hands.  “Uhhh I’d love to but…I had an excuse and I really need to go be with the excuse.” “Nah we can budge up,” Tadashi said, giving Hiro one of those pointed looks—probably the play nice suggestion he had hit Obake with earlier. Speaking of, Obake had apparently had enough—stood up abruptly.  “No need, she can have my seat.”  Turned on his heel and left, pausing only to grab his bag. “Uhhh I’d better go with him,” Hiro said, packing everything up and shouldering his backpack.  “Make sure he doesn’t blow up the labs—”  Did pause to give Karmi a raised eyebrow.  “’Kid Sidekick’?  Seriously?” “I don’t take slander from nerds still struggling with homophones,” Karmi said, returning the eyebrow raise. “Whatever.”  Run after Obake, leaving Tadashi nursing a migraine while Fred peppered Karmi with questions about her fanfic.  Did eventually find him in the labs, busy screaming into Baymax’s vinyl. “Seriously?” Hiro questioned. “Obake: is upset,” Baymax offered, standing in his charger. “That’s putting it mildly,” Obake muttered, voice muffled from having his face buried in Baymax’s chest. “Yeah but I’m used to you avoiding Baymax,” Hiro pointed out. Obake finally pushed himself away from Baymax.  “Usually I’d scream into a couch cushion, but the robot volunteered after explaining to me about all the wonderful germs I’d be smearing all over my face.” “Should I be concerned?” “Apparently Wasabi has a point when it comes to deep-cleaning the various surfaces.”

So technically we have bits of "Fan-Friction" from season one, "The Hyper-Potamus Pizza-Party-Torium" from season three, and "Nega-Globby" from season two--under severest technicalities "Nega-Globby" and "The Globby Within" both got nixed due to no chem-purse in "Big Roommates 2" to steal, and a couple of episodes are getting shuffled around to try to repair the mess that season three was and shake some of the executive meddling off of season two. Does that mean I have entirely different plans for season three? Yes, yes it does.
