headcanon that twilight is really bad at nyt games. pinkie is a pro at spelling bee and letter boxed (twilight's always like "BUT THAT'S NOT A WORD" and pinkie is just 🥰😚😋). aj and dash are super competitive about mini and wordle ("ah got it in 30 seconds!" "well *I* got it in 29! take that 😝"). flutters always finishes the connections without mistakes, through the help of angel (and occasionally discord). rarity denounces them all as "silly" ("but darling, why would you waste your time playing *such* a useless thing?") but secretly lives for spin-offs of wordle like nerdle and quordle (one of her greatest achievements is successfully finishing a game of dutrigordle (32 at once)). spike is surprisingly good at sudoku (he thinks he can impress rarity this way (bonus headcanon that rarity can do incredibly complex computations in her head bc of all the numbers she has to juggle while measuring clients and such)).

Move over, Will Shortz! Helen Spink Henton, a student at the law school in the 1920s, left all sorts of things tucked inside the pages of her notebooks. Evidently, she was a big fan of crosswords, or maybe she just enjoyed doodling during long lectures.

These notes come from one of Helen's notebooks from the 1924-1925 academic year, and are part of our larger collection of student notebooks.
