Aster and Vern’s parents have redesigns + updated refs!!

Frances was involved in the og Galar goth scene in her younger days and never really stopped being involved. Got a BA in fine art and art history at Motostoke University then did a Masters at Naranja-Uva in Paldea. Worked across multiple galleries as a curator while managing a PhD in art history, with a focus on studying the art found on the bodies of Runerigus, before getting a job as an art history lecturer at a university in Wyndon. Used to have serious anger problems but has since mellowed out.

Bram tried to become league champion as a teenager but got knocked out in the first round of the champion tournament. Took the loss badly and became an aimless delinquent for a while before being corralled into taking up the family trade of being a cabbie. Ended up enjoying it more than he thought and stuck with it. Is passionate about music but never had the patience to learn an instrument himself. Took it upon himself to learn how to cook after Frances fed him a sour fried-food curry about a month into dating her. Still insists on cooking for her to this day.

I made Boscha's future son. I don't ship Boscha with anyone, but I had an idea of what her kid could be like.

His name is Bram, and he is about 17 years old.

Bram studies plant and beast keeping magic.

His palisman is an octopus named Aqua.

Bram is captain of the flyer derby team.

He is part of the human appreciation society.

Bram is trying to see if he can convince school to bring human realm animals for beast keeping lessons instead of just demon realm animals.

But if I were in charge of doing a Second Gen League its at least a small line up of who I'd have show up in one way or another

i think something compelling about bram stoker’s Dracula is how effectively Dracula is characterized.

he’s a beast. an incredibly intelligent monster, terrorizing this town and killing people and spreading misery.

and the readers know that. the readers respect that. i have not seen a single person read Dracula and try to woobify him. the readers hate him as universally as the characters in the story.

villains are known for fanbases. tumblr is known for giving villains fanbases. but not for Dracula. he is so thoroughly a villain that anyone attempting to redeem him is rare.

and yet, this is the story where one of his main victims pleads for the vampire hunter crew to not resent him, to show him mercy through his death. this is the story where she says to mourn for him because she (and any other of his victims) should be treated the same.

the story with the Most Irredeemable Villain award is the story that begs for you to think of him as more than that.

i think that qualifies for good writing.

Aster and Vernon’s parents!! They first met when Francis was a student at Motostoke University, and Bram, as a cabbie, happened to give her lifts frequently. Over time they got to know each other better and upon runnng into Francis at a cafe, Bram shot his shot and asked her out on a date. Rest is history xx

🔥 Been playing BG3 since last year, an Astarion girlie ✨ Was inspired by an image from Bram Stoker’s Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola. I adore the cinematography and the costume design in the movie.

So I reimagined Astarion and my drow Durge traveling the world. They stumbled upon a fallen monument of the Gale, the God of Ambition.

Lycanthia is from an old werewolf novel I found at my school library that I thought was neat and want to do something with

Rosemary Porter (Basil Hallward 2.0) from "Rosemary is for Remembrance" AU (is it an AU if its technically a sequel?)

And last of all Alanna, from Arthur Machen's "The White People" who I've also got an idea for (retooling Marigold from that Classical Lit Monster High thing I did x)

Yess I did a poorly done redesign

It's my version of Renfield like in Dracula's book

His name is Jack after the doctor who owns the asylum.

Renfield because he is obsessed with immortality, Dracula, vampires, narcotics, flies and spiders

Flies & spiders yumm

He has scars, because in his psychotic episodes he becomes somewhat violent

And there are more things but this is all for now.
