How would your OCs react if they were bitten? If they were able to, would they cut off the limb that was bitten in order to try to prevent the infection from spreading?

How would your OCs react if a love one or someone they care about was bitten instead?

Corinna: Cut it off; looks aren't that important anymore. So Dick got bit most likely protecting someone. Unless it's child she would blame the other person. Vocally or not it's their fault the love of her life is dying. She doesn't stay for his last moments she doesn't want to remember him like that. Locks herself away. Doesn't talk to anyone. Doesn't go out of runs for a long time.

Luana: Would try to cut it off but couldn't. Jason get's bit. Luana is frantic. Jason is the only person she trust and know he is dying. Would try to find a way to help him even tho they both know there is nothing she can do. Jason would basically have to calm her down and they would just talk. He could gave her his dog tags (zombie au Jason was in the military, sue me!) and tell her to go to the manor. He doesn't want her to be alone. Sadly Jason doesn't get a funeral his body is left in the store they were hold up in. Luana is on auto pilot after that. At some point it becomes to much for her she returned to where Jason is and joins him.

Kami: If she could she would cut off or have someone cut of the limb. Different people get different reaction but the people who get the most emotionally reactions are her family and Mina. So Mina gets bit with not why of saving her. Kami would cry. This is her best friend in the whole world and she can't save her. Once the group gives their goodbye it's just Kami and Mina in a room talking; remembering the good times until the virus takes her. After Kami is kind of just not fully their. She spends a lot of time by Mina's grave. Get more brutal.

If by this time the 1-a boys have joined with the 1-a girls Shoto and Sero try to help Kami through it. She levels out over time but she always has one of Mina's bracelets on.

If Shoto was to get bit. Think Rick Grimes after Lori and times that by 10.

Shiko: Cut it off she have a husband and child. Fuck that dying shit. Eri gets bit. Blames herself she should have been watching her. Should have made sure it was clear. It's all her fault. Shiko beats herself up as she sings lullabies to her daughter. She holds it together until Eri passes then she losses it. She is a mess apologizing over and over to Aizawa. Openly blaming herself. Aizawa doesn't blame her; he blames himself. Shiko is so broken after Eri and tries to stay far away from children feeling like she is cursed.

A Brave New Start

Long time no see! It was about time I posted something here and, while it is fanfic related, it's not exactly the kind of thing I usually post. Now, look at this screenshot:

Brave New World is a very old Pokémon OC fanfiction I started working on back in 2017. It was a highly ambitious project that never really reached its destination, although I managed to write twelve chapters. Most of the tags don't actually reflect characters or events that one could find within these chapters, but rather things that would or should happen in the future. However, these things won't be happening now. In fact, if you go to my AO3, you won't find this fic. I deleted it on January 28th because I'm redoing this story.

Why January 28th? Because it's the day of 2017 I came up with the concept for this Brave New World's protagonist, Juliette Ronson. It's actually pretty silly: it all started because I saw that in one of the shops in SM they had both a cap and a pair of shoes themed after Zygarde. I suddenly thought, "What if I created a Trainer OC whose goal is reuniting all of the Zygarde Cells and having it as her partner?".

I actually started working on this story not long after, but then USUM were announced and I decided to wait and see what happened with Necrozma in these games because I really wanted to include it in the fic. Seeing its tragic backstory in canon made me want to portray it in a sympathetic light with Juliette being its biggest defender, but now that I look at my old notes I can see I gave it all a very melodramatic spin lol.

Many things will change for Brave New World, its main pairing being one of them. As you can see, I intended to ship Juliette with Kiawe. However, Game Freak has recently presented us with a character who, after some time, I came to see as a better fit for her (Hint: read the fanfic's summary and see if it reminds you of someone). I'd love to go on a tangent about this topic, but I'd rather save it for another day. This is not to say that Kiawe will no longer be a part of Juliette's life, they will be friends regardless. In fact, Juliette will still have a crush on him for some part of the story, but she decides it's best to let it go because of reasons (Spoiler: he's taken).

Something that won't change is having my friend as a co-author of the story. Not only she offers interesting ideas and good insight, she also allows me to have one of her OCs in it and I wouldn't have it any other way. My friend's OC is called Luana and she becomes Juliette's closest friend. Their personalities contrast and complement each other at the same time, making them an interesting duo. I can't wait to write about their interactions again!

That's all I have to say about Brave New World for now. I always try to work on the new version's draft here and there, whenever my busy student schedule allows me to lol. I will post stuff about the rewriting process from time to time because I'm pretty excited about sharing this renewed version. I think it will not just show my growth as a writer, but also as a person.

I can’t remember lol.

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

Hmm I like drawing my big alien cat gorl Kida. Her design is fun and it’s probably the most “solid” character I have so far (alongside Orion).

3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?

Yeah, I kinda adopted Zokii, an albino galra oc from my dear friend Mij who sent me this ask game. 

4. A character you rarely talk about?

I have many ocs but I don’t talk much about any of them. I’ve been talking a lot about my galra oc’s with my friend Mij though.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

I don’t know, I would be really happy if any of my ocs got popular.

6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?

I don’t think I have any yet.

Like, in fanfic? Because I have the Sheith children that will be part of a fanfic Mij is writing.

Bud, Leo and Thatch are the ones I can think on the top my head now (and Zokii who is Mij’s oc ofc).

Yeah, I have some villains too but I’m still working on them.

Leona, a fan apprentice from The Arcana. She had an abusive father, and ran away from her clan after being scratched in the face by an albino jaguar that later becomes her familiar.

Yes!

16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?

Orion? Or maybe another Voltron oc I have (from the next generations of paladins)? I don’t know, didn’t think about it.

Not yet.

Welp I saw a post in the rayllum tag once saying “what if Rayla broke up with someone before going to the Katolis?” and I tought it was cool, so I created a moonshadow elf oc called Luana, Rayla’s ex girlfriend lol.

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)

I don’t know man I like all of them. I could introduce Kida or Orion, ‘cause they’re pretty solid ocs but I already talked a lot about them.

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

I don’t think any of them can sing... Maybe Luana? 

21. Your most artistic OC

Orion! He’s one of my Sheith kids oc. Unlike the rest of his family, despite of him being a good fighter and a good strategist, he has no desire in following a militar career because he’s an artist! And he likes taking pictures of all the amazing things he gets to see when he travels to planets of the coalition with his family. He’s like an honorary member in missions because he, alongside a small team, records everything that’s going on aboard. He’s always ready to help when things get tought though. 

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

Few people know about my ocs, so no.

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?

Welp, Kida was supposed to be more serious and way less cute and cat-like.

Any of my pet ocs (pokémon, dragons, familiars, etc.)

Most of my sonas and one or other oc from The Arcana.

Nope.

I have three or more that that I’m basing off of two Lord Huron’s songs: Yawning Grave and Frozen Pines.

Any of my mcs from Mystic Messenger. I mean, the mc already kinda did that didn’t she? Lmao.

Many of them because they’re nerds and I like stuffed animals so I can’t help it.

Kida would have a pastel blog, and she would probably mostly reblog and post cute aesthetic pictures and gifs.

My Mystic messenger mcs because they’re dumb enough to follow the instructions of a complete stranger and break in someone’s apartment lol.

Probably Leona.

I have Allurance kids as well, they’re twins- a boy and a girl. 

35. Any sibling characters?

The Allurance and Sheith kids (Orion, Kida and Zokii are adopted sibblings, they’ll probably get a human sister too in the future).

36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?

Zokii, they’re Kida and Orion’s older brother.

Probably Frida, my the arcana fan apprentice from Julian’s route.

I have this furry alien boy which is the same alien species as Olia (Voltron). He’s one of Pidge’s favorite students and one of the next generation of paladins, but I couldn’t decide if he’s the blue or red paladin yet.

Well, I try to make my characters diverse and unique.

Inspired by a theme in the story and a few scenes in Arcs 1-3. It’s arrogant to try and be someone’s savior, to assume you can override and then prevent more trauma-but it’s hard not to try when you love someone.

Missed my Colors!3d days and I’m trying to get out of an art slump, so I decided to go ham on the brushes Procreate comes with and do a more messy paint kind of sketch.

Apologies for the sudden eye strain! I wanted to try this kind of 3d effect for a while now.

The first HWTF is done! These are just mini comics that tackle offscreen events, small questions about the world, and other junk. Everything I make has a little section dedicated to this side stuff on my official site, but I haven’t even started my other projects development wise so they’re empty…except for HWTF now! Yahoo!

Today’s comic is just a warm up for getting back into comic creating and experimenting with new styles, taking notes from my peers inspired by the same things I am and dropping the hatching for more line based shading. Here are some close ups since the expressions were the best part of drawing the comic and reading it over.

Quiet, yet stubborn, determined, yet cautious, Luana is the protagonist of TLGoTH saga!

Born and raised in Keona, a small country led by a constitutional monarchy, Luana has a storied past despite her young age. Sometime, in her childhood, she was spirited away by her friends from the other side, and lived in the spirit realm for a time.

Three years before the start of the story, however, Luana jumped planes yet again, determined to carve out a mundane life in the realm she was born in, meaning no magic and no transformation. After much hardship, Luana lands herself a job with a company that hoards workers, and delegates them to their work every day-she ends up being a maid under the banner of Kalani City Cleaning and Construction Service, made by the princess of the land herself to help facilitate the newfound demand for workers such as them.

Unfortunately, this proves taxing on our protagonist, as she slowly but surely fights her body and mind to keep her other form at bay-and due to the fatigue caused by the wild magic within, she fumbles on an important job and is fired.

By the time the story starts, Luana is ready to move on and find another avenue for life among mortals-ideally, without having to tap into her skills as a mage. After all, the average mortal doesn't use magic for much of anything, and that is the life she's chasing.

However, as the story goes on, Luana finds that the magic world's roots run deep within her and the events to come-and that if she wants a quiet mortal-like life, she'll have to fight like hell for it.
