Asra feels things very strongly, both the good and the bad. He's not the world's most observant person but he can pick up on weaknesses and insecurities very quickly. And he's a hard worker... sometimes. When he wants to be. He usually doesn't want to be.

💔 BROKEN HEART — what are three of your oc's negative traits?

He's obsessive, possessive, and cruel. He's working on it, I promise! One day he'll be a better person (and we're ignoring that he wants to be a better person exclusively out of spite).

so originally my dreadwolf protag was gonna be asra, my skyrim dragonborn's son who migrated to thedas after the continents discovered eachother (crossover universe) who gets adopted into atlas and are'veia (inquisitors)'s dalish clan,,, buttttt,,,,

with the leaks having the protag called Rook im having severe zevsurana child thoughts..... rook adopted bby of ara'kian and zevran?? rook who grew up in vigil's keep with the other wardens?? esp if one of the,, origins or whatever it ends up being is the pc being a warden,,, because ara "bluebird" surana, owner of wren the mabari, husband of zevran the crow would totally name their kid some type of bird

I spent like three days drawing my apprentice in the Arcana style and still I’m not 100% sold, but I’ve given enough of my blood for this, so I’m gonna go back to my comfort sketchy style till I recover. Here is also Musa full body, as you can see shoes are not a thing in this house, and Musa beside Asra to compare heights (yes, they’re huggable size)

A dream of calmness

Hi and welcome to my first entry for @flashfictionfridayofficial!

This weeks theme was Expand through Horizons, but I must confess, that I probably didn't really stay in this prompt. I somehow wrote something about Thinking about the future, so I don't know if it counts...

Anyway, let me show you my snippet below the cut. The characters are from Wings of Fate, so I will tag some people who might be interested to read ☺️

She sat thoughtfully in the garden and looked out at the wide plain that stretched to the horizon. Lost in thought, she watched the sun slowly disappear behind the rolling hills in the distance, making room for the stars. Life seemed calm at the moment, as if Asra had found a niche in all the stressful events, where she can finally breathe deeply.

"What are you thinking about?" Raphael's melodious voice snapped her out of her thoughts and made her jump.

"God, you scared me," she murmured, taking a deep breath.

"Sorry..." He eyed her briefly before sliding onto the gras next to her.

"What do you think will happen?" Raphael looked at her in surprise.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, will it turn out okay? Will all of this have a happy ending?” Silence fell between them as they watched the sunset together.

"I don't know," Raphael finally admitted quietly. "I don't know if it will be good in the end. All I know is that eventually it will stop.” Asra nodded weakly, eyes fixed in the distance. Everything just requires itself unfairly. Every event, every word. It was a tremendous burden on her shoulders that she never wanted to bear.

"What are you going to do when this is all over?" he suddenly asked, looking at her curiously. Surprised by the question, she turned to look at him. Raphael, on the other hand, merely raised his eyebrows in amusement.

"What I want to do?"

"Yes, what do you want to do? I don't expect you to stay here.” Asra shrugged.

"I don't know... You know my place isn't here. Maybe I'll go back, find an apartment, start over. This time without incident…” She thought for a moment. Yes. A fresh start would be wonderful, far away from all the things that would have happened before. Far away from God and his rules. Away from the stress. She really had had enough of all that.

"A simple life," stated Raphael. "I can understand that you wish that."

"Yes?" He nodded and gave her an encouraging smile. "What will you do if you could choose?" Raphael thought for a long time before shrugging.

"I don’t know. I don’t know. I'm not sure if I'd stay or if I'll do the same. Can I really just leave all of this behind? After all, it's a piece of home, still.” Now it was Asra who gave him a smile.

"I confess, I couldn't imagine how your estate could stand empty. What would become of the roses? They would probably all wither..."

"Maybe. Or maybe not. You only find out something like that when you dare to do something new”, he murmured softly and his gaze glittered again into the distance. The sun had already dropped below the horizon and the stars were beginning to light up the vast sky. Asra loved the sight of the stars, their soft shimmer. There was something comforting about them. Something that promised her that everything would be fine. With a soft sigh, she turned to Raphael.

"I should go," she murmured softly, getting up. Raphael did the same.

"Take care of yourself," he said goodbye to her and gave her a smile. "We'll see each other again tomorrow."

"Promise," she replied, before making her way through the pathways of roses and the archangel's quiet estate.
