Welcome, Everyone!

I am Yuko, a filipino beginner traditional artist and writer! I’ve gotten the courage to finally get on tumblr to share my drawings and learn from other greater artists around this place!!

I mainly draw in a anime style, though sometimes I try to do realism for the fun. I also do fanart! But Drawing does take a toll on how long my art block gets so I’m not sure If I’m going to get the courage to draw people and/or OCs.

I am a fan of Yaelokre, Beetlebug, and Vocaloid. Including Anime such as Demon slayer and Dr.stone!!!

they find each other at their lowest point and decide to team up and stick together- not because they want to, but because neither of them trusts the other to not hurt people.

aria is hurting and lonely and eager to do the right thing. she is vulnerable because of her lack of memory, mourning a past and friends and family and relationships she doesn’t even get to remember, and dislikes anith because anith is nothing but rough and dismissive and bitter towards someone who is just trying to reach out.

and on the flipside, anith is hurting and lonely and lashing out, seeking revenge because it’s the only thing peb can do. peb is vulnerable because of emmyn’s betrayal, and protects pebself from that vulnerability by becoming bitter and closed off. anith dislikes aria because here is this person who is just a Bit too much like emmyn, who casually messes around with powers no one understands, who prods and pokes trying to get around anith’s walls, and who can honestly be pretty annoying!

but then neither of them leaves the other. first it’s out of distrust. then of spite. but slowly they grow to respect each other, learning more about each other’s pasts (or lack thereof).

anith envies aria’s easy openness, the way she can make friends wherever she goes, and be terrifyingly vulnerable with people she barely knows. peb wonders at how aria can carry so much weight and still be so free, when anith is still so weighed down by pebs past.

and at the same time, aria admires anith’s determination and drive- but also pebs growing willingness to help people, the way peb fights back against the lumina’s corruption even while being part of it. she is amazed at how anith could have gone through so much and still not crumble, when aria’s strength of will ends right about when she doesn’t want to do something.

as they continue on, they become true friends, able to really lean on and help one another heal. and it’s just. augh. my ocs man

Since most people polled wanted to see Linked Universe OCs, I will start with one of my most recently thought-up boys, Hero of Spring!

He’s VERY MUCH based on Lord of the Mountain/Satori in BotW and TotK, as well as the Mystic Set in TotK. I would’ve called him Hero of the Mountain or Hero of (the) Spirits, but I already have a Hero of the Mountain and a Hero of the Spirit, so I chose Spring, as in the season.

I was also inspired by various songs, namely Overgrown Garden by Beetlebug, O Willow Waly by Ashley Serena, The Mummer’s Dance by Loreena McKennitt, as well as multiple songs by Cosmo Sheldrake, specifically Solar Waltz, Breathe Round Corners, Does the Swallow Dream of Flying, But Once a Child, Song of the Cedars, Owl Song, Flora’s Pond, Cuckoo Song, and Come Wander With Me. Give em a listen if you want!

But yeah, I think that’s about all I have to say, at least off the top of my head, but if you have any questions, I’d love to hear them! And do let me know if my handwriting is too atrocious; I know it’s messy, even when I try to be neat

This is my boy Beetle! He was born a loner and called to the Clans by StarClan after his mom died. Falconscream, one of my other ocs and an exiled Clan cat, guided him to the Clans, and along the way became a sort of mother figure towards him. Falconscream was wounded on the border of the Clan territory by a coyote, then gained injuries which led to her death during a battle to defend her original clan, StormClan, leaving Beetle in the Clans surrounded by strangers and alone.

He was made a healer because of his ability to talk to StarClan, but in reality he sucks at healing and sneaks out to hunt a lot, not understanding why he has to choose a role. It also doesn’t like living around so many cats and sleeps alone in the Medicine Den even when there aren’t any patients (usually the whole StormClan sleeps together in the warrior den) and he spends most of the day out of camp. He finds difficulty bonding with his clanmates because of their (reasonable) dislike of Falconscream, but eventually bonds with his mentor Moonflower and the deputy Turtlespeck. Although his clan name is Beetlebug, he usually goes as just Beetle. He’s a cutie patootie, who is mistaken for a young apprentice because of his small size, kit-like face, and blue eyes (young kittens always have blue eyes). It keeps Falconscream’s kestrel feathers in his nest, and his freckles are slowly growing! As he ages they will overtake his face, but when he was a kit they were just specks.

His adoptive mother Falconscream MIGHT have given him her blood curse she got from her dad sorry bud.
