Ladies and Lords of noble houses and the royal family filled the dining hall of the Red Keep. The Greens had successfully usurped the throne from Rhaenyra and were celebrating their victory.

Jacquelin entered the dining hall and glanced around.

The royal family were seated at the head of the room with Aegon in the middle in between Criston Cole and his mother Alicent. His sister-wife and brother sat a few seats down from the king.

As Jacquelin waded through the crowd, her eyes caught the one-eyed, Prince Aemond. She had seen him as a child once or twice when they visited her family’s castle, but he had grown into a fine young man.

Aemond looked up and met her gaze.

Jacquelin held his gaze as she started dancing, paying no mind to her partner.

A smirk crossed Aemond’s face. Very few noble ladies met his eyes so boldly.

Aemond finished the wine he was drinking and stood up, to the shock of his family. He stepped out onto the dance floor and slipped into the crowd. He stepped up behind Jacquelin and took her hand, replacing her dancing partner.

She hazarded a glance back at him and found herself caught in his lilac gaze. Inwardly, she was smirking. She had him right where she wanted him.

None of this was accidental. She had planned this.

Jacquelin had convinced her mother and father to attend this celebration just so she could put herself in the prince’s way. She knew her mother and father wanted to marry her off, so who better than the second son and brother to the king himself? She couldn’t have asked for a better match and frankly, neither could her parents. At least this was a marriage she wanted.

“You’ve been watching me,” Aemond said.

“I have, my prince.”

They turned so they were face-to-face now.

“Why?” he asked.

“You are very handsome, my prince. Why wouldn’t a lady want to stare?”

Aemond sneered. “There’s no need to lie to me.”

“Any woman who doesn’t find you handsome is simply a fool.”

This made Aemond smirk. He knew she was trying to feed his ego. He knew his brother would be trying to marry him off to some random lord’s daughter in return for his support. “What is your name?” he asked.

“Jacquelin Anzalone.”

It was a house that Aemond had never heard of and maybe that could be to their advantage.

“My father has always supported your brother Aegon and his right to the throne.”

Aemond pulled her close. “What do you want?”

Jacquelin’s eyes drifted to Aemond’s lips. “What does every woman want?”

Aemond snorted. “A husband?”

Jacquelin smirked. “What do you stand to lose, my prince? My mother and father are expecting me to make an advantageous marriage. Is your brother not doing the same? As a woman, I am simply a pawn on a chessboard to be played. I would rather make my own move.”

Aemond pulled away from her. Jacquelin half-expected him to stalk off like the moody prince he was known to be. But he simply took her hand and kissed the back of it, very clearly showing everyone his interest in her.

Jacquelin blushed, playing the part of the innocent, sweet, young, and naïve girl who couldn’t believe a Targaryen prince was interested in her.

Aemond sent her a smirk before he disappeared back into the crowd. She had about a second before her mother and father descended on her, asking her questions about when Aemond was going to come calling on her.

Aemond took a seat back at the table and sipped his wine. He knew his mother would have questions later and Aegon would tease him, but for now he wanted to sit back and consider his options.

He could marry a girl of Aegon’s choosing and be forced into a marriage he didn’t want…or…he could marry Jacquelin.

Jacquelin’s family would bring support of smaller houses, but they needed the numbers anywhere they could get them. Jacquelin was also ambitious.

It was not lost on Aemond that she had planned their entire meeting. She was a mastermind and that turned Aemond on more than he was willing to admit.

card constructs is the semblance used by Scarlet cards and involves 4 different unique modes based on the four symbols of a deck of cards hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds, each of these modes come with there own side effects though, which can be hazardous when over used. scarlet can use multiple of these modes at the same time, fusing two at once to create stronger attacks or defences but a major drawback to combining modes also combines their side effects making it vital to plan and coordinate battle plans to limit hazards or casualties.

With a resolute grip, Scarlet could transform her aura into an unyielding barrier, symbolized by the Club's cross. It deflected projectiles and absorbed blows, making her an immovable force on the battlefield.

But the shield isn’t invincible it can be broken by strategic attacks or immense force applied.

Diamond's Wealth:

By channeling her aura into the Diamond's shape, scarlet can also create shimmering projectiles that can be applied to normal or dust infused bullets to be placed within her weapon to be used on her enemies. These diamond shards served as both a formidable offense and a means of distraction. But they can hurt her as well meaning a strategic deflection of those bullets can cause damage to her aura levels if attacks are not thought out thoroughly.

Hearts soul:

A mystical bond connected Scarlet's mind with her teammates. Their thoughts and emotions intermingled, allowing her to effectively coordinate their attacks and support their needs. The bond radiated a warm luminosity, visible only to those connected. But constant use can cause scarlet minor to major head spins (similar to emeralds headaches but not exact) depending on how long she uses it 

Spades Precision:

Spades precision gives Scarlet unparalleled accuracy and precision. With this power, she could hurl her weapons with pinpoint accuracy, striking her enemies with deadly precision. Her aim was so precise that she could even hit a target as small as a coin from a considerable distance. This ability makes  her a formidable opponent in combat, as she could take down her enemies with a single, well-placed shot. 

But the major draw back from this mode causes all her other senses other the sight to be silenced as means to achieve it making enemy attack much more hard to avoid and a lot more dangerous

By the Sevens, you’re so beautiful! The instant he meets you for the first time, Kalim is instantly taken by your beauty. He’s not one to fully judge based on appearance, but he absolutely loves your hair! It’s so thick and curly… It even bounces when you move! Your voluminous hair makes him want to run his hands through it. 

When Kalim gets to know you better, and if you have the courage to tell him about your past, he’ll be somewhat wary, but grateful for your change of heart. Even if you don’t divulge your past to him, he’s a perceptive person even if most other people don’t think so. He’s a person who has learned to be wary of assassination attempts and suspicious persons, so he can hazard a guess that you have a past that you’re not too fond of, but you are trying to do better. As a member of Scarabia Dorm, he understands what it’s like to be ambitious and to plan things well in advance. Kalim had to learn the hard way that his actions have consequences and that led to Jamil betraying him in the process. If you’re not too careful, he tells you with concern in his eyes, someone could do the same. 

As you can see, Kalim takes you very seriously. Not as a threat, but as another person born from wealth. Out of anyone else, he can empathize what it’s like to be in a place where you were surrounded by much fortune for most of your life, only to have drawbacks in the process: for him, assassination attempts, relative isolation, and ignorance of the outside world; for you, your cutthroat personality. 

Oh my, you’re such an active person! Kalim may not share most of your interests with you, but he appreciates how well-rounded you are. If you ever ask for it, he’ll gladly provide the necessary materials for your hobbies. If you complain about your art supplies, he’ll buy you new ones from a renowned art supplier. If you don’t like your camera, he’ll get you a new one! Maybe this new camera has magic in it, too! And if you need more practice with your chosen sports, he can easily reserve a resort for just the two of you so you can go snowboarding. 

As for what she desires in a partner, Kalim hopes that he can match your expectations. He’ll admit, he was wary of you at first, but the more time he spends with you, the more he realizes just how much you wish to share your love with another person. Kalim knows he’s not perfect; his recent conversations with Jamil have revealed just how ignorant he was, but for you he’ll try because you’re also working on bettering yourself as well! Overall, you cannot deny that there is a tension, maybe even a rivalry, between you and Kalim during your first few interactions. Some backstory on the Void Civilization of My AU

Note: This is just my AU, I took a lot of liberties and inspiration from other stuff. You will see a lot of headcannons and liberties

I'm thinking of adding an OC character called the "Black Lady".

Initially this will be the Void manifesting itself infront of PK/Shiro, but taking the form of someone he have deep desires of, specifically his late wife who he misses dearly. The Black Lady is, well, dressed in black with black hair, but "her" facial features, body and overall appearance is a mirror image of the White Lady. This is to mess with his feelings, but also to make him more comfortable that he will stay, cause it wants him to stay.

The Void in general in my AU don't have a mind similar to a sentient creature, but it's more like an organic mirror or a spongy brain of an infant who tend to imitate their parent. It can be harnessed and used, but it is not coherent and cannot make decisions in itself, it needs input from somewhere or from someone.

It can also mimics the thoughts of creatures with a mind that lived near it, usually only one feeling at a time. It cannot do complex thought process, only super basic instinct or a single emotion at a time.

So if it is lashing out in anger, it is not because it is angry. It is because of the imprinted anger that it copied from a person who died close enough to the Void that it's final thought and feelings was absorbed.

AU origins time.

In the beginning, it have no will, no mind and is perfectly still, like a surface of a mirror. Cause it haven't been exposed to anything it can mimic/absorb yet.

It was discovered and used by an ancient civilization. Thanks to its time altering abilities, it help the civilization reach it's peak. But the problem is that in the long run it started to affect their health and corrode their thinking, over-enhancing their emotional state as a result. This makes it difficult to do a fair, sound judgment and decision making if you are constantly having very, very bad mood swings and doing emotional outbursts all the time.

Soon leaders, who use it the most in battle, starts to get corrupt, both due to having too much power and from over exposure to Void, to a point of madness. This madness later spread to other people who are exposed to Void. Scholars who are actively studying it, doctors who use it to cure ailments, the priest who framed the Void as a God, and eventually the citizens who are patients of said doctors, and have a piece of the Void contained in idols within their homes for worship. Some of the more fanatical priest in their void-induced state of madness, will actively drink void as a way to get closer to their God. No one survives long after that action.

I got the inspiration from how too much exposure to Mercury and Lead intake affects a person's mental well-being to a point that it drives them mad. The Mad Hatter character is supposedly based of the hat makers in the past who used Mercury in their craft, many of the workers end up as mad angry people. Nowadays hat making do not use Mercury anymore, but the legacy is now well known thanks to a character in the story, Alice in Wonderland.

I was also inspired by how Radium, cocaine and other poisons was used on make-up, and medicine when it was first discovered. It was only after the death cases rose and they did proper studies did that they realized putting Radium in tooth paste or and giving cocaine to children is a huge health hazard.

It is the same for the ancient Civilization in my AU, they put Void in nearly everything. It's time-altering abilities can stop some illnesses from spreading, putting the germ cells growth in a permanent statis. But they do not have enough knowledge on the Void to know that constant exposure, and intake it is a really bad idea in the long run, especially to their brain.

The ancient city eventually destroyed itself from a combination of having too many civil wars, bad management, corruption from Mad Leaders, a widespread case of really bad Void poisoning, and violent attacks from their enemies that left millions dead.

When many of the citizens were killed in a state of rage and hate by a neighboring kingdom, all that raged was imprinted into the Void underneath the city. Usually 1 angry soul won't have an effect on the large Void Sea, but when millions of people died in a very violent state filled with pain and hate, at once, that is enough to have a very great affect on the Void. Like a mirror, it mimicked all that emotional rage. Absorbing that emotion and making it it's own, lashing out at anything that comes near. It have so much that it is still showing it up to present day.

After a few centuries, the now abandoned city was forgotten in the sands until a nomadic tribe of mystics came across it.

Fast forward to a thousand years, somehow a local Lord built his Manor on top of the ancient city where the now hostile Void Sea is located. His Manor also have hidden access to the ancient ruins and to the Void Sea through a series of tunnels that stretch deep under ground.

Had a lot of spare time during my classes today so I doodled a lot (most of it in my binders and notebooks which I don't bring home), sooo have some random art mostly of the bunny nature because I felt like it

I drew Finley Fox for some reason, and I drew Bendy as well. The lyrics are "You're never gonna get it, I'm a hazard to myself" from We Don't Have to Dance by Andy Black. Also drew Alice Angel but didn't have enough time to color her in, as well as Fireball.

The mother doe and her kits is the best drawing in this batch for me personally. The random buck I drew is good too. I've been doodling a lot of my OC Dr. Von Jackalope lately, but mostly on my homework so all my good doodles of him are gone :( oh, and I drew Fang again as well because I felt like it

An Inconvenient Attachment - Regency AU with Aemond x F!OC

"Lady Stanmore," Lady Alicent said, her voice cool and measured as she gave them polite smiles. "And this must be your daughter, Lady Camille. It is a pleasure to meet you both."

Lady Stanmore curtseyed low; her expression deferential. "The pleasure is ours, Marchioness. Camille has been looking forward to meeting you."

Lord Aemond stepped forward, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. "Indeed, it is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Camille. I have heard much about you and your family."

Lady Camille curtsied even lower, her cheeks flushing with awkwardness, being addressed by a man other than her father or her brother. "It is an honour to meet you, Lady Alicent and Lord Aemond."

Lady Alicent's eyes narrowed, and she studied Lady Camille for a long moment, gently placing a cold, dry finger under her chin. The Marchioness seemed to have a habit of biting her nails, she noticed. "You have your father's looks, Lady Camille. I would even hazard a guess at saying that you might resemble your grandmother, the Duchess."

Lady Camille swallowed hard, suddenly aware of the weight of her family’s history and the difficult role placed upon her shoulders. Seeing as there was no male heir, the only way to continue the Earldom of Stanmore was through any of the sons she was expected to gift her husband sooner than later. "I...I would hope so. I have heard great things about her and her astonishing beauty."

Lady Alicent's expression softened, and she placed a hand on Lady Camille's shoulder. "Good. You will need that beauty if you are to succeed in this world. And you, Aemond," she said, turning to her son with a wary look. "What do you think of our young debutante?"

Aemond's smile widened, and he stepped closer to Lady Camille, his violet eye sparkling with amusement. "I think she is lovely, mother. May I hope to get to know the Lady better on the dancefloor?"

Lady Camille's heart skipped a beat at Aemond's words, and she felt a further flush of heat rise to her cheeks. There was no way she could continue this evening without a glass of punch, or even a bit of brandy. Why on earth was he staring at her like that? She glanced up at her mother, who gently nodded her head. Fishing out the dance-card out of her reticule, she quickly handed it to him and watched in horror as he expertly signed his name onto the first and the last dance on her card.

Summary: In which Peter’s super SO survived Thanos’ snap and succeeded in bringing back everyone who was lost, but had to live five years without him to do it.

Sydney shook herself awake from the dream. No, not a dream, a memory. She glanced at her side and Peter was fast asleep. His curls were splayed across the pillow, his chest rising and falling in a gentle rhythm. She reached out, gently brushing her hand against Peter’s face. Relief washed over her. He was real. Peter awoke, squinting at the sun that poured in through the window. He yawned, stretching his arms above his head and promptly wincing as they hit the headboard behind him with a smack. Sydney chuckled, and Peter turned his attention towards the girl beside him, a smile lighting up his face. “G’morning.” He greeted, muffled by yet another yawn. “Good morning.” Syd ran her fingers through Peter’s curls, smiling as he leaned into the touch. Lazily, Peter reached over, pulling his girlfriend over top of him. … Where she promptly fell over. Sydney blushed. Balance was difficult when her left leg wouldn’t play ball. The brace that allowed her to move her paralyzed was uncomfortable to sleep in, but without it, her left leg was essentially useless. Occupational hazard.  “Sorry.” She apologized, lifting herself onto her elbows above Peter. “My leg… I can’t…” She began to move off of Peter. Muscle was dense and she knew she wasn’t light. “I’ll…” “Don’t.” Peter interrupted, holding her still against him. “This is almost better.” He nuzzled his face into her shoulder, relaxing there a moment. “We’ll flip in a minute so we can get to business, but for now I like this a lot.” “Peter!” Syd scolded, slapping his shoulder and fighting a laugh. “What? You took the proposal from me, and now a man can’t even enjoy a morning in bed with his fiance?” Syd rolled her eyes, but smiled in spite of herself. Her proposal the night before had been hasty, but it carried the same weight. Peter had agreed to marry her, but only if she let him propose with a ring before they told anyone else. “You think you’re up for the challenge, Parker? When was the last time you took the lead?” “Hey, future-Parker, that was not nice of you. How dare you underestimate my skills?” “Uh, do you not remember the first time? Or the second? Or the third?” Peter’s spidey senses had made getting intimate... Uniquely challenging at the beginning. Since then, however, things were drastically improved. “And who says I’m taking your name? Kissing Peter felt like coming home. Like a long awaited breath after standing for so long at the precipice of drowning. When they pulled apart, Peter just smiled. “How’s the view from up there?” Sydney teased. “Beautiful.” He complimented before diving into her again. Sydney took the opportunity to slide her hands along his back. Her fingers slipped under his shirt, tracing each muscle as it flexed above her. Her fingers brushed over a small divot in his back, a minor imperfection, a scar. Sydney paused, going over the scar multiple times. Had that always been there? Surely it had. She had just forgotten. She had forgotten. She was going to be sick. “Peter.” Her voice was short and insistent. “Peter. Stop.” Peter stopped immediately, moving beside her and giving her space. “Syd, what’s wrong?” Sydney sat up, breathing rapidly and grabbing at her hair. “Sydney…” Peter frowned, even more concerned now. “I-I’m sorry. Peter, I-I’m so sorry.” Tears were in her eyes now, dry sobs violently wracking through her body. “Sydney…” Peter’s voice was soft, holding her close against him. “It’s okay. It’s all okay. We’re here now, you’re with me-” “N-no.” Syd shook in his arms. “P-Peter I… I’m so sorry.” “Sorry?” Peter whispered. “What for? There’s nothing to be sorry about…” “I forgot, Peter. The scar, the freckle here on your arm, Peter I forgot-” “Shh…” Peter held her closer. “It’s okay.” “I-I almost had a life. I-I was almost moving on. They said we couldn’t bring everyone back, and I-I almost believed them…” She couldn’t help but think about the people she met, the things she’d done. None of them would remember. Gavin wouldn’t remember Saturday nights spent at the theater, she would never know how Anna’s new kitten was doing.

Would Anna even have a kitten? Now that her girlfriend hadn’t died?

Peter sighed, holding his girlfriend against him as her body trembled. “Hey. Look at me.” Peter lifted her chin slightly so that they were making eye contact. It was so strange looking at Syd now. Physically, she looked nearly the same as he had left her under the rubble. But her eyes were different. There was a haunting depth to them now. She had seen years without him. She grew up, had birthdays, she made friends. Hell, maybe even more than friends. She’d had an entire life without him in it, a life she’d spent knowing that she may never see him again. “You did nothing wrong. Absolutely nothing. I cannot even begin to understand what that was like. How you felt, the decisions you made, but you did nothing wrong. You are so strong. So, so, strong.” Peter ran his fingers through her hair. “But we’re in this together now. I love you. I accept you for the incredible person you are and the choices you made. It is okay.” Sydney was silent for a long moment, but slowly her breathing returned to normal and her body stilled. “I love you too. More than anything.” Peter kissed the top of her head, rubbing her back gently. “Now, why don’t I go make us some breakfast?” “Are you gonna burn it this time?” Sydney teased, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. “Just for you, I’ll try not to.”

1. Which oc is often suspicious of others?

All of them, honestly. Before shit went down, Stella was the most suspicious, but all four of them quickly became suspicious of strangers, particularly in the Henbane.

2. Which oc/s uses magic?

Lol so here’s the stuff I haven’t found a way to mention: there’s a vague sort of magic in my fics. Alice heals quickly/is hard to hurt (woo explaining video game healing!), Stella is a spectacular shot, Erin... I haven’t figured out something for, and Elizabeth is just a little too good at starting fires. John and Joseph are both able to persuade people exceptionally well, as is Faith, who also can also literally teleport with the Bliss, though she usually just uses Bliss apparitions. Jacob I haven’t figured out yet either, though he’s probably similar to Alice and is exceptionally durable.

3. Which oc spends the most amount of time making their living space look or feel just right?

Erin and Elizabeth. Alice would like to, but she doesn’t really have the time to completely renovate her house like she wants to. Stella’s house is exactly like she likes it, but it’s developed very organically.

4. Which oc’s living space could be classified as a bio hazard?

None of them, but Erin’s can be at times, when the twins decide to have food fights...

5. Which oc has done some highly unusual things but still describes themselves as ‘quite average?’

Absolutely Alice - she’s aware of her fame etc etc, but she still thinks she is a very normal person.

9) How does your OC handle their physical health? Do they take care of themselves?

(Aside from basic hygiene, which all my ocs do to take care of themselves)

Ash/Pawn: They're somewhat physically healthy. She's lightweight but wiry because of all the running and skirmishes. Plus Ash just likes going for walks in general because it clears her head. They also studied in the medical field in college prior to dropping out (vet school), so she can take care of herself/others who get physically hurt too if a hospital isn't an immediate option. While she does try to take care of herself, they do tend to get hurt a lot due to their, unwilling, involvement with The Operator, Slenderman, proxies and sources. Sleeping is also not something they get much of, sometimes going a few days without sleeping or with very little sleep.

Ethan: He's also really good with his physical health. I imagine he works out at a gym and does an annual general health check-up with his doctor. Most of his exercise that doesn't come from the gym would probably be from exploring places while he's trying to help Ash or just doing his own thing—he loves traveling and going new places.

Ethan is also pretty good at getting a healthy amount of sleep. He's a freelance journalist who takes jobs whenever he feels like it, since his family is well-off and he doesn't really ever need to work if he doesn't want to. Really his only stressor is fearing for Ash's well-being.

Zac/Watcher: Would call his average but it isn't great in all regards. While on a proxy job he does get physical activity by stalking around, and his job in construction also helps his fitness. But when he's got down time this man is constantly gaming. His diet isn't great, as he grabs mostly snack foods & energy drinks, but his sleep schedule is generally decent until a weekend hits where he can game all night or he has to pull an all-nighter to work both 'jobs'.

Alice/Hazard: She has to take good care of her physical health. Despite becoming a proxy and her burns being healed during the process, her breathing issues require her to wear a mask with capsules on the side that can act as inhalers if she suddenly can't breath while doing physical activity. Unlike many of the other ocs, she does get a good amount of sleep and watches her diet—although being in the ARK most of the time means she doesn't need to eat to stay alive.

Marcus/Cardinal: His physical health is wonderful! As a top proxy, Slenderman stopped his body from physically aging past his mid to late 30s while he was in the prime of his life. Still by far the oldest proxy right now but with how active he is, he stays fit. Marcus also knows the importance of taking care of his physical health and isn't against taking spare time to get plenty of rest and a good meal in before finding his next target.

15) Will your OC ever retire? Do you see them making it?

Out of all 9 ocs, I see very few living to retirement.

Emma: She'll be a lucky oc who makes it out alive. (As a minor character in the comic though this might end up happening off-screen)

Athena: She's a cat and can't exactly retire, but I see her surviving to the end as well just because I don't want to kill off the beloved pet lol

Alastor: He will technically make it to retirement, but at the moment is not guaranteed to make it to the end

Ethan: I can't exactly call what happens to him lucky, he very nearly doesn't make it, but at least he's alive after the events are over. If he had a job to retire from beyond the freelance work, I could see him making it to retirement.

Marcus/Cardinal: His fate is yet to be decided, but he'll never retire. This man loves working as a high ranking proxy so someone would have to pry that position out of his cold dead hands.

30) My OC and your OC are friends. This isn't a question. I'm not asking. (How do they respond?)

Ash/Pawn: Is already trying to push said friend away and ghost them before Slenderman or a proxy notices. Nothing against your OC, but she doesn't want more friends to die and show up in pieces because of her. They also don't want to be the reason anyone catches the sickness.

Ethan: Another friend, cool! He's a social guy and loves making friends. I really hope your oc enjoys hanging out with an extrovert. If they knew each other in college he for sure tried to get them to come to parties with him.

Alice/Hazard: I hope your oc enjoys anime because Alice loves talking about it. Prior to becoming a proxy they could've had anime marathons and gone to cons together. After becoming a proxy though, she'd ghost her friend to focus on her new job, or maybe try to convince Slenderman to make them a proxy too (if they aren't already) so they can keep hanging out.

Zac/Watcher: He hopes his friends are good with gaming since he enjoys it so much himself. If they're also proxy friends then your oc will find out very quickly he isn't just a gamer who's willing to stream and buy both of you all the snacks needed for a gaming marathon. He's not a great guy at all and can/will ask a friend for help if it means a pat on the back from the boss and getting closer to Ash. Seems very nice, but can be really creepy about Ash & his fantasy that they'll happily be proxies together one day.
