I was just smacked upside the head with the memory of this fic I read a few years ago that combined the world of Avatar the Last Airbender and the Cthulhu Mythos, and oh my word… this fic literally altered my brain chemistry. Like I never looked at horror the same after it. It was the spookiest, greatest masterpiece I’ve ever read in any fandom and just… wow. So I had to go and bookmark it when I couldn’t find it, and now I’m sharing it because, fuck it, I want to.

Like I enjoyed the spooks and angst before, but this fic just fundamentally changed my understanding of eldritch horror and probably kickstarted my love for horror podcasts. The atmosphere, the monsters’ descriptions, the way the characters were written… Just absolutely amazing, 10/10 story. Highly recommend, okay enough rambling, here’s the link, go read it.

pyramid game is such a perfect little drama for the sapphics because you've got a whole demented psychological thriller going on about high school girls creating a whole fake social class system that results because one bored little princess bitch thought it'd be funny, and you've got all these dynamics that can only be boiled down to some kind of love story because like. ye lim and eun jeong's dynamic? the princess idol and her athlete bodyguard. soo ji and ja eun's dynamic? the cold mastermind and the compassionate heart. even whatever da yeon and seol ha have got going on? typical hitter and loyal dog dynamic. the list can go on.

Obsessed with Lloyd never mentioning his grandfather is the First Spinjitsu Master, apparently to the point even Arin didn't seem to know, because "eh, it never came up". Cause like, yeah, sure, my grandfather is God, what of it? Normal day for me. Shit happens. My dad is also evil, you wanna talk about that? I sure don't.

It's also funny from a character arc perspective. Here's itty bitty baby first season Lloyd, loudly proclaiming he's the son of Garmadon, and probably also making sure everyone knows he's God part 3 electric boogaloo. And then one Tomorrow's Tea and a few more years later and he's doing everything physically possible to NOT care about his heritage. In fact he'd probably rather his parentage was literally anyone else. Dude could care so less he forgets about it most of the time. King behavior.
