yeah yeah alright but do you think mason ever subconsiously compared brett to theo-both very very wildly differing yet similar relationships which definately played roles in mason’s mind, even if subconsiously? where brett, liam’s antagoniser, was his crush, ‘this just keeps getting better and better’ another fantastic thing about the supernatural world, something which mason idealised into golden: because he truly didn’t know brett? where again theo, liam and corey’s antagoniser, he hated and never forgave, the darker underbelly of the supernatural world and the prelude to his own mass-murdering spree, is someone mason knows and can even connect to as dread doctor experiments and therefore mason cannot idealise him because of how horrific their connection is? Brett symbolises Mason’s innocence while Theo symbolises his maturity, better or worse.

Played a game of WolfQuest with my friend where we played as the Dread Doctors (I was the Surgeon, she was the Geneticist, and we didn't have anyone to play the Pathologist) cause we wanted to see the Chimera Pack as pups. Here's some cute screenies we got from it!

Every Piece of Me

“Wow, I guess I assumed that Theo was some evil villainous chimera, but he just follows Liam around.” Nolan hums softly, side eyeing Mason with a small grin.

“Nolan, shush or I’ll kick you out of this truck.” Theo threatens, snarling at the sight of Mason and Corey snickering in the backseat.

He hasn’t a clue why he decided to cart then around to Liam’s college visit.

Oh that’s right, Liam asked so nicely. He even winked at the chimera in an almost flirtatious manner when Theo tried to argue about taking the whole day off to help him visit different schools that he might want to attend.

They’ve always had an interesting story and it’s never been easy, or anything resembling normal, but it’s their story.

Theo wouldn’t have it any other way.

The moment Liam pulled Theo out of the ground he has been forever grateful. Forever thankful he’s hasn’t been left to rot in an empty and forgotten hell that has been the theme of every nightmare he’s had since the moment Theo left it.

Being with Liam though, that’s the most horrifyingly funny and awe striking thing he’s ever had in his entire life. Theo’s not even technically with Liam, but there’s an unspoken and indescribable feeling between the both of them. It’s as if every single person falls away and every detail ceases to exist when they’re around each other.

Liam’s friends tease him about it relentlessly and sometimes when Theo’s feeling a little more friendly and happy to be around the others, he will joke around with them about their relationship. Theo will even wait until Liam turns bright red to see the way his deep blue eyes look against his rosy skin.

Theo’s accepted he’s lost some of his evil qualities and hard demeanor since he’s started hanging around Liam, but it’s too late to backtrack now. Especially when Liam’s always asking for a good morning text from Theo to notify the werewolf that he’s ready for Liam to barge into his room. Ready to drag him off on another chaotic adventure.

Call Theo soft or whatever, but he’s not going to stop driving Liam everywhere his heart desires because wherever Liam goes, Theo will follow .

“I don’t know.” Liam slides into the truck with his shoulders sagging and lets out a sigh of defeat.

“This is our third one. How many colleges are we going to reject and visit today?” Corey groans, shaking his head at Liam’s indecisiveness.

“I’m not technically rejecting them.” Liam argues, looking to Theo for help in pleading his case.

“Then what are doing Little Alpha?” Theo teases, a soft smile playing on his lips.

“I’m rejecting the idea of being too many miles from my friends.” Liam shrugs, his face becoming more serious.

“Us or Theo?” Mason deadpans.

Liam throws an empty water bottle in the back, missing Mason entirely and hitting Nolan in the face.

“My friends. Anyway, want to get food?” Liam asks, eyes lighting up with excitement at the thought of his hunger pains subsiding.

“Sure.” Theo agrees, not waiting for the rest of them to agree but already pulling onto the road.

Every piece of Liam is a mystery to Theo. The way he talks to him, smiles in his direction, as he argues with Theo about every possible thing that he can, but it’s all of the little things that keep the chimera from leaving behind the only person who’s ever made it worth while to stay.

That’s why Liam can take his time with where he wants to go, or what he wants to do because Theo isn’t going anywhere.

Every piece of himself will always be with Liam .

If you were going to add an episode to Teen Wolf, what would it be about?

Oh i so got u bestie; i have so many thoughts about a bonus episode in between Codominance and Sword and the Spirit (5x13 to 5x14)!! The overarching theme of the episode would be trust—how it's been broken, how it's been healed, who you choose to put your faith into (and why), etc.

A-Plot

Scott seeks out, finds, and confronts Deucalion, in response to discovering Theo is looking for him at the end of Codominance. I think you could still keep the tension of whether or not Deucalion is double crossing Scott or triple crossing Theo, and then that final showdown will feel less out of nowhere

The main people involved here would be Scott, Kira, and Stiles, as Kira processes what all happened with the skinwalkers, particularly re: her test, and gets some closure between her & Scott re: her fox

In order for it to make sense that she goes back to the skinwalkers after Codominance highlighted how much she doesn't want to be with them, this episode would have to do some groundwork of her realizing she wasn't in control when she killed the oni and "beat" the test. We see her break her sword in the next episode, so i think maybe she should try to use it again in this one—and fail. This provides some really interesting stakes for Eichen & Scott's faith in her

Also i think scira deserve a talk about scott lying to her, and feel like this could be related to the crater in his chest he also won't talk about. I think his trust in Eichen could really elevated if Scira had a scene where Scott tells her the truth about just how big her fox is, and he trusts her not only with that information, but that she can still do it

Also also Scott and Stiles actually talk about Scott dying for heaven's sake!!! We needed it so bad and I think this would be a good time for it, especially as Kira finds out about it for the first time. Then we get a sciles hug bc i said so

How their varied fears of the nogitsune vs kira's kitsune plays in very heavily here, too

Ahem so anyway this resolves with a tense scene between Scott & Deucalion where you're really not sure if you can trust him at all, and afterwards Scott is worried he's making a bad call—and Stiles says it's okay, because he doesn't trust Deucalion, he trusts Scott, and Kira follows him up by saying that either way, this time, the pack will be there to back him up.

B-Plot

I hate Eichen so bad but I think it would've helped if Lydia had had scenes with Valack when she's more cogent/given more agency—maybe something that clarifies what he was doing with Peter at the end of s4 and how that led to her?

I feel like this would have to be in a mindscape, same as she has with Meredith, so Lydia is able to respond coherently/isn't just a prop to talk at

This could also clarify some of Valack's goals/motivations more concretely and foreshadow Lydia's victory over him in Lie Ability

C-Plot

Instead of Theo telling Malia he'll help her at the end of Codominance, their arc would be drawn out over the episode. This would heighten the tension of her having to depend on him, while allowing her to wrestle more explicitly with whether or not she's looking so she can kill the Desert Wolf, or to save Deaton

At the same time Scott is reckoning with his death, Theo is reckoning with Scott's resurrection—prompted, perhaps, by Corey having realized Scott was scared of Theo in the tunnels, the same way Corey was scared of Scott

Misc

I'd love a scene with Liam & his Dad—a werewolf reveal, preferably, +Liam processing his choices re: Scott & Hayden with someone that loves him, but is removed enough from the situation to comment on Liam's responsibility

I could get a Deaton & Corinne scene, as a Treat<3

Newer fans latching onto Theo is, like, kind of baffling to me, because the moment I saw him I was like, "This is a low-rent, generic version of season 1 Derek."

And that thought just never went away.

Admittedly, I don't like any of the new characters except for Liam (even though he is just Jackson-lite.) Mason is Diet Danny. Hayden, the white boys I can't remember (there are like three or four characters I could not pick out of a line-up if you put a gun to my fucking head), and Theo's pack are just... they're okay, but I have no opinions on them whatsoever.

I famously do not like Malia, and I'd rather watch Malia struggle with her homework than watch the baby wolves. To this day, I have not seen all of season 6A and my interest in 6B ends and begins with "Oh, Derek's back!!"

apparently it's a bit controversial to say theo was purposefully presented by the narrative to be a derek mirror.

derek's absence in season 5 is a vacuum. he was such a huge, significant part of the narrative that his absence is a black hole. like, there was a purpose to scott bringing derek up to stiles and for stiles's to get all gooey at seeing the initials DH at senior scribe.

it set up how stiles and scott are coping with derek's absence.

scott is trying but he didn't realize how much he learned from derek, how much he leaned on derek's knowledge and experience and how for granted he took derek's presence. which is realistic to their relationship.

stiles is straight up Not Dealing With It and it's Going Badly.

teen wolf loves, loves, loves to reference, reframe and repeat it's own narrative. the issue stiles and scott have with theo is exactly their whole difference of opinion about derek from s1-2 but in a shorter time frame.

theo is exactly what scott thought derek was early on: a lying, power hungry sister-killer. but scott was wrong about derek and in trying to course correct that error he is wrong about theo.

the other function theo performs narratively in season 5 is being a dark stiles mirror.

both stiles and scott in both season 5 and 6a are scared of change. they are scared of their relationships changing. their rapidly approaching adulthood is scary.

the nogitsune changed stiles and it's something neither scott or stiles have really confronted. theo is obsessed with void stiles and prods at that trauma for stiles while he presents himself as scott's long-lost bestie tapping into scott's fears about stiles and the longing for the friendship they had before all this started.

theo's doing a lot of things in season 5 tbh. he's got so many assignments lol.

theo's pack is just kind of there because for theo they were merely a means to an end. the only ones that mattered in the end were hayden and corey.

i do like corey when he's around and hayden was just wasted in my opinion.

(bonus: i once mentioned that liam and mason were jackson and danny but like three spaces to the left on the subreddit and people were very confused by that and i was like "....do other people not see this?" jeff notoriously keeps throwing spaghetti at the wall till it sticks)

"Let me take you on a date," Theo appears beside, leaning against the table and flashing me that smile that would have all the girls melting, "I at least owe it to you."

"Why should I trust anything you say?" I reply, not looking up from my laptop as I'm writing my English essay on 'The Great Gatsby' and how I find it overrated instead of the oh so romantic American Dream novel.

"Oh come on, I'll make it worth your while," He moves closer and it takes every fibre in my body not to react because honestly, Theo is hot. His dark hair styled in soft spikes and hazel eyes that change colour in different lights, ranging from a vibrant green to a deep yellowish brown. Just Theo overall is hot and everyone knows it but everything he's done in the past makes me very wary of him. Even if he has changed.

"You hit one of my pups," I reply, feeling that same anger from when I found out about Theo hitting Lydia begin to bubble, "You were willing to sacrifice Corey for your own gain."

"Let me make it up to you," He finally moves so he's behind me, leaning over my shoulder so close his breath ghosts over my neck, "You can tell me all about how much you hate The Great Gatsby," I freeze when his breath is replaced buy his lips as he presses a soft kiss to the base of my neck, on my pulse point so he can feel it jump when he presses another and another as he makes his way up until he reaches my ear, whispering "I know you want to."

I can't help myself when I jump up, spinning around and slapping him. He takes it and raises an eyebrow at me before grabbing my wrists, pressing me against the wall with my hands behind my back with one smooth motion.

"Had enough?" Oh that cocky tone really winds me up but there's nothing I can do against his werecoyote strength, "Just one date is all I'm asking and if you don't like it we can never talk about it again."

"One date," I finally agree and he lets me go butI stay where I am, composing myself because he definitely did something to little me when pinning me to the wall, "Don't expect anything else from me," I add, turning to face him with a stern tone but he just scoffs and settles on my bed so I go back to my desk and essay.

"Wait," It's at least a good half an hour later, "Why are you in my room in the first place?"

Honestly, I think it's Parrish/Theo. Talk about a black cat/golden retriever pairing. There's also power dynamics to explore and they both have experienced losing control of their lives. Law abiding citizen vs. full on criminal, etc. Worth considering. (Close runner up is Nolan/Corey, but breaking up Morey is a mortal sin.)

favorite thiam moment from canon:

It's definitely between the drive back from the zoo and the coordinated hallway fight. The first one is when Thiam fully clicked for me as a viewer. The looks, the effort Theo went through to keep Liam from being like him. It's all good stuff. So, yeah, that one.

The freckled boy was caught by the puppy pack wandering around the party in a slow and dizzy pace, his legs looking like were about to give out any minute.

"I... Humm... Don't know? Where's Brett?" Nolan looked around, eyes heavy and blurry, trying to find the blonde tall boy in the middle of the improvised dance floor.

"Here, I got him some water" Theo handed the bottle to Mason. "Let's get somewhere for him to sit down"

"Did he knew those where pot brownies? Who gave him those?" Liam angrily asked, frustrated for his friend helpless state.

"Some seniors brought them, but I don't think he knew what they were..."

Corey was guiding Nolan gently to one of the bedrooms in the basement, supporting most of his weight.

"But Brett... Can't... Brett? Are we leaving Brett there?"

Nolan tried to leave when he saw that they were getting away from the loud music, Theo stopped in the hallway, looking for the freckled's boyfriend.

"I don't think he knew, actually... Where is Brett, the fucker doesn't answer his phone!"

Suddently, Theo saw the dirty blonde hair of his boyfriend in the crowd, looking positively fuming, heading towards somewhere.

"Heh, somebody is about to get their ass kicked" Theo laughed, and crossed his arms, waiting.

"You were supposed to take care of him! Where was you when he eaten those?"

It was a laughable scene, Liam dragging Brett by his ear.

"What?! Those were just candies! OUCH! Let go Liam! Fuck, I was right there!" The tall boy squirmed, trying to get away from Liam's tight grip.

"He is down there, go and take care of him or else I..." Theo interrupted Liam's bicker, grabbing him by his hips.

"Leave him, they will be fine." The quimera whispered in his ear. "Meanwhile, you owe me a dance."

Theo: So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know.

Everyone:
