alessia, “stop taking my sunglasses”, car
sunglasses II a.russo
"okay we have the picnic blanket, food, we're about to get coffees...what else do we need?" you listed off on your fingers as your girlfriend paused to think.
"mm nope! i think thats everything." the blonde hummed in agreement, grabbing her car keys and twirling them around on her finger.
"i think there is one thing we might be forgetting lessi." you prompted with a smile of amusement, your girlfriend frowning in confusion as she ticked it over in her head.
"oh my god wait the dog!" alessia realised, dropping her keys and turning on heel and sprinting off into the backyard where her brothers bulldog was taking a nap in the sun. "bella. walkies!" alessia grabbed her lead off the table and waved it happily.
"look baby she's just like you in the morning." you teased from the back door as bella merely rolled onto her back, showing her stomach to the sun expectantly awaiting a tummy rub.
"ha, ha, ha." alessia's voice dripped with sarcasm as she shot you a dirty look and you tossed her bella's collar. "come on bella! up we get!" alessia clapped encouragingly, patting her stomach and trying to roll her over.
you snickered in amusement as the bulldog made no move to aid her, alessia grunting with effort as she clicked the collar around bella's neck and still tried to roll her over onto her stomach.
"babe you could help!" the striker huffed as you snickered again, shooting you a glare as she heaved and tried to pull bella up to her feet. "bella. car time!" you whistled, alessia squealing and falling over as bella suddenly shot up and inside.
"aw do you want a tummy rub?" you teased as the striker huffed and held her hand out expecting you to help her up. "how do you whistle like that?" your girlfriend huffed as you grabbed her hand.
"family secret." you grinned, always having refused to teach her because you knew it wound her up. "alessia!" you yelped as with a firm yank to your hand you were pulled down to the ground, the blonde hovering over you.
"you're such a child!" you huffed, hitting her chest as she easily hopped up to her feet, sending you a wink and heading on inside. "oh don't help me or anything babe!" you huffed, standing up and brushing the dirt from your knees with an annoyed grumble.
"come on love we haven't got all day!" alessia sung out teasingly as you stepped inside, sliding and locking the back door closed, flipping her off as she clicked bella's harness on over her chest.
"luca gets back on wednesday yeah?" you asked for clarification as the striker hummed in confirmation. "can bella live here and you go back home with him instead?" you gasped sarcastically, washing your hands with a roll of your eyes.
"don't be grumpy! you'd miss me too much babe." alessia's arms snaked around your torso, tenderly kissing your cheek as you scoffed. "i'd miss your cooking maybe. you? not so much russo i'll take cuddles with the dog anyday!" you squeezed her face in your hand and wiggled out of her grip.
"excuse me!" alessia huffed grabbing her keys as you took bella's lead, tucking the picnic blanket under your arm. "you're excused." you shot back with a wink as your girlfriend grabbed the bag of snacks and rolled her eyes, closing the front door after herself.
"this is supposed to be our date day and you've spent the majority of it bullying me!" alessia protested as you clipped bella's harness into the ring holder on the backseat securing her into place.
"well you've spent the majority of our relationship bullying me, so it evens out!" you smiled, stealing a kiss before the striker could utter another protest, sliding into the passenger seat and closing the door.
you pulled open the console and plucked out a pair of sunglasses, settling them over your nose and clicking in your seatbelt as alessia's door opened and she sat down closing it after her.
sticking her key in the ignition she opened the console you'd just closed, frowning when she couldn't find the sunglasses that always sat inside. you were too preoccupied with your phone to notice as she glanced up to ask if you'd seen them.
"less!" you huffed as she snatched them off your face, settling them on her own and turning the key as her engine roared to life. "these are mine. my car, my sunglasses, my girlfriend, my brothers dog." the blonde smirked smacking your hand away as you tried to take them back.
"well someone woke up and forgot what sharing is! what happened to whats mine is yours?"
~
"babe please teach me how to whistle!" alessia whined as you did it yet again sending bella sprinting over toward you as you tossed her tennis ball and she raced off again.
"no! teach yourself." you smiled in amusement, squealing as your girlfriends hand smacked against your ass and she scowled at you, somewhat resembling a toddler having a tantrum.
"aw did someone not get her designated twelve hours of sleep?" you cooed teasingly, pinching her cheeks and pecking her lips, knowing how sacred her daily naps were to the footballer.
"i think you'll agree we both missed out on some sleep last night." alessia smirked suggestively as your cheeks flushed pink and you shoved her, the two of you sitting back down on the picnic blanket watching bella race around in circles.
"zoomies." you both chimed in unison, sharing a grin as the sun peeked back out from where it had hidden behind the clouds and you squinted, shielding your eyes with your hands.
waiting until she seemed off in her own little world daydreaming you leaned over and snatched the sunglasses off her face, rolling away from her when she tried to take them back.
"less baby its sunny! my eyes hurt!" you protested trying to fight her off and grunting as she flopped herself down on top of you. "stop taking my sunglasses. you should have brought your own!" your girlfriend laughed, easily pinning your arms down with one hand and plucking her sunglasses back with the other.
"i'll teach you how to whistle?" you bargained, alessia pausing to clearly think it over, letting go of your arms and sighing, offering you the sunglasses back as you happily sat up and took them.
"okay you form a little o with your lips, and blow!" you instructed, demonstrating as your girlfriend gave you an odd look. "i know how to whistle you idiot. teach me your whistle!" the blonde demanded as you shrugged.
"i said i would teach you how to whistle, not how to do my special whistle." "thats-but-no! show me!" "sorry baby, family secret."
"alessia!" you squealed as she tackled you back down onto the picnic blanket, hovering over you with a tut and a shake of her head. "what am i going to do with you hm?" the striker sighed, however before she could do anything a bundle of fur barreled right into the pair of you, knocking the wind out of her.
"good girl bella!" "you and that stupid whistle."

“i am on work trip vacation” — or an alt title: what happens when a group of f1 drivers go on a getaway together
a houseboat sounds like a great idea! ...right?
a/n HELLAUR this was mostly inspired by that one mofy episode “lake life” which to me is very underrated i love that episode SO much. anyway here it is it kinda ended up not how i wanted it to be in the first place but oh well :)
THE KANGAROO(KIE) VS. THE WORLD

to be perfectly honest, no one really remembered whose idea it was for them to do this. theoretically, it did sound like a good idea until someone else had the amazing idea:
“what if we rented a houseboat… for all of us…”
the group blinked at the suggestion.
roo, who had been standing next to lando mumbled to him lowly, “are we that close?”
the question made the two turns to each other for eye contact, when their eyes met, lando shrugged.
their attentions were brought away when max spoke up from his seat.
“yeah, but who is paying?”
the group turned to look at each other before agreeing through eye contact and all turn to the dutch driver.
“what? why? this isn’t even my idea!”
“yeah, but…” the group turned to the first porsche driver, “you keep winning…”
he threw his hands in the air, “what?! what does that have to do with anything?”
“you make the most money…” lando answered for her, the words slowly forming in his mouth, “you bought a whole aircraft, a boat won’t hurt your wallet.”
in response, he got a look from the redbull driver.
the woman next to him walked forward, “how about this; you’ve ruled the land, the asphalt if you must; you’ve also had your reign in the air, isn’t it time for you to have something to dominate the seas…?” she carefully propositioned, eyes searching the unreadable dutch looking for any sort of answer.
until eventually, his eyes lit up looking her way, “you’re a genius!” he exclaimed.
“i know, thanks.” she smugly smiled at his reaction.
shortly after, the man speedily walked off somewhere else leaving her with the rest of the grid.
she huffed with a smile playing at her lips, “men are so easy.”
fast forward to where they are now; lando trying to figure out the concept of charles’ attempt at eggs, the latter suspected to be on some kind of edible (currently being silently investigated by george and alex), lance passed out on the couch in an interesting position with his blanket over his face to shield it from the sun, the rest out on deck or still asleep in their rooms.
just as lando did another poke of his… egg? roo walked down the steps from where all the rooms were, eyes still lidded with sleep, hands stretching with a yawn.
“mornin’.” she greeted, the rest present in the room strung along good mornings as such.
walking over to the smell of burning, she felt the ground tilt to the side, making her lose her balance following where the dip goes. the rest in the room too fully woke up at the tilt—a large horn following. lance, emerging from his blanket and sitting half up grumpily, lando quickly grabbing his plate of eggs to stop it from falling off the counter (though, he regretted doing so, he would much rather the eggs get eaten by the floor rather himself.)
the aston martin driver on the couch then snatched the walkie-talkie on the coffee table next to him and barked into it, “VERSTAPPEN!”
max, happily conducting in his captain’s deck, apologized through the walkie sheepishly, “ehe—sorry.”
from out on the deck, came the sound of the french, “honey, slow down, you are waking up the kids.” just as he put the walkie-talkie back on the table next to him, pierre heard the response coming from the same channel,
“gasly, i will throw you overboard.”
just as he grumbled that, the second haas driver stumbled down the stairs, face still a little sleepy (naturally).
“someone’s grumpy this morning.” he commented before taking a seat next to alex on the dining table behind the counter where lando hastily stared at a piece of his egg.
“fuck off.” he grumbled before covering his face with his blanket once more.
george, sat across of mick, stared at his co-worker still drifting off on the table, “‘horn wake you?”
“no, radio.” he mumbled.
the girl finally went back to walking over to the ferrari driver in the kitchen.
“what’s cookin’, mcqueen?” she greeted.
he looked back to her smiling then continuing his focus on the pan, “eggs!”
the woman looked towards the brit with a plate on the counter, raising her brows for confirmation. in response, he frowned with his eyes closed, shaking his head.
at that, she walked over to the fridge and grabbed the carton of orange juice, pouring it into a cup before walking over to where lando sat and hauled herself up into the stool.
“here goes nothing.” she heard the whisper from the side, looking over to see lando carefully putting the piece of egg in his mouth with his eyes closed.
she cringed when she heard a crunch coming from his bite.
“i think that was a shell…” he cried.
the girl beside him frowned and pat his back just as carlos walked down the stairs, behind him two large dogs followed.
she gasped at the sight, “good morning, babies,” she greeted sweetly, crouching down to pet the two dogs.
passing by, carlos smiled, “good morning, sweetheart.”
roo gave him a side-eye as he passed, snickering, she said, “sure.” her expression then turning to one of adoration when she pat her dogs once more.
her attention moved when charles greeted his teammate, “good morning, calos, how do you take your eggs?”
“like god made them,” he said before cracking an egg and pouring them straight into his mouth.
everyone turned to him in shock and disgust, roo herself shrieked at the sight.
“what the hell is wrong with you?!” she yelped in disgust.
charles, face straight, “oh, right, i forgot about that.”
from the dining table, george questioned, “you do that every day? i just do it when i have a nasty hangover…”
carlos looked at him and paused, nodding before answering, “yes.”
roo then laughed smugly into her glass.
“what are you laughin’ at sally?” asked the spaniard.
“i don’t get hangovers.” she bragged, hand reaching over to the bowl of fruit in front of her. her smug face dropped when she held the too-light banana, “what the fuck? are these fucking plastic?!”
charles then turn around and grimaced seeing the look on her face, “oh, yeah, forgot to tell you.” he the paused, contemplating on what he says next, “if you see a bite mark on the apple… no you don’t.”
george then intruded, “wait, wait. i want to go back to how you don’t get hangovers…”
“yeah—how does that even work?” alex asked next.
she shrugged, “well… how it works is that… i don’t drink. —besides champagne that is,” she added with a smile.
“wait what—”
she clapped her hands together, “conversation’s over, i’m going to take my kids for a walk—lando, stop trying to feed them your eggs they only eat things that are edible.”
the ‘cook’ turned around fully offended, “hey!”
“so…”
“please don’t try to make conversation. it’s bad enough you’re here.” again, it wasn’t like she was trying to be rude, but it often came out like that. —she really did hope lando didn’t take it like that.
he scoffed, “oh, come off it, you love me.” he said, while throwing a hand over her shoulder.
the four—lando, roo, bennie, and jet, that is—were currently wandering around the island their boat had docked to. so far on their walk there hasn’t been anything interesting in the island besides the occasional inhabitants of the island (ones that are only visible to the woman anyway).
suddenly, lando let go of her shoulder and went to check his pockets, “oh, right, that reminds me; these has been weighing my pants—”
her attention unmoving, she cut him off, “that or you need a belt.”
he rolled his eyes and continued, “whatever, can you hold this in your pocket.”
finally, that brought her out of her trance, “oh wait—”
she turned around to warn him but it was too late, lando had dropped the item in the pocket hole of her pants only to see it fall to the ground instead.
“wait what—” he grabbed the item off the floor and tried to put it back in her pocket, seeing if he had missed it before only to see it fall to the ground through it again. “what the hell?” without warning, lando put his hand in her pocket all the way through and low and behold; his hand had went through it and peaked out of the bottom of her pants.
he stared at her in confusion.
“yeah, i was going to tell you: my pockets have holes in them.”
“well, no shit, i can fit my entire hand through this—hell, i can even fit both.” he asserted almost going high-pitched. his eyes then changed, visibly remembering a detail she mentioned, “wait—pockets? as in both?”
she rolled her eyes, “yes, drama queen. now can you get your hand out of my pants, do you know how weird this looks?”
“oh, yeah, to who? the wind?” he stated sarcastically as he pulled his hand out of her pocket—if it can still be called that.
the girl was about to answer but her eyes caught something that made her eyes almost pop out of their socket. her hand immediately takes a hold of lando’s upper arm.
“ow!”
ignoring his complains, her eyes still trained on whatever it is she saw and started pulling on his arm.
the brit was still busy complaining on how hard her hand’s grip on his arm was to look up but he still managed to answer, “what?!”
“i think—i think we should uh—go back to shore, y’know, it’s almost lunch, they could be looking for us.”
“no it’s not, it’s only like—” he checks his watch, “—eleven am.” he continues to complain.
but when he couldn’t feel as much pain as before he looked up to see his friend already gone along with the two dogs. he threw his hands in the air, “wha— damn it, roo!”
when he made it back to the beach, she was nowhere to be found, instead he was met with the rottie instead, “oh, hey, bennie, where’s your mum, huh?” he crouched down to give the dog a scratch behind his ear, bennie barked in response.
he—the dog—then turned around and walked over to the side where a white and minty-green volleyball laid, piquing an interest from lando.
when he walked over and grabbed the ball, he heard a call from the other side of the beach.
“oi! you wanna join us for a game?” danny yelled with his hands cupped around his mouth.
without another thought, lando stood up and ran over to the group and joined them. surprisingly enough when he looked to his left, there his friend stood after ditching him in the woods.
he threw his hands in the air when he saw her, “here you are! what the hell was that earlier?”
opting for the easy way out, she replied, “saw something you can’t, you don’t want to know.”
lando—who she knew would steer clear of any further topics involving her abilities—accepted the answer quickly and went back to focusing on the upcoming game.
“so, what’s the game here?” asked the brit.
“it was gonna be two on two but since you’re here i guess, three it is. whose team do you want to be in?”
lando then mulled over his options, go with daniel and mick against roo and zhou or… the other way around. then he remembered just how strong the girl was—he got flashbacks from various sports he had played against her and ones he saw her play, he wasn’t risking it.
“i think i’m gonna stay here, what about you, though? you need one more player?”
the australian looked around until his eyes landed on the rottweiler, a grin made its way to his face, “bennie! c’mere boy!”
when the rottie obliged, roo’s jaw dropped in betrayal.
“first mick! now you too? betrayed by my own boys…”
the german shrugged.
after that, the game went on for a good few minutes. along the lines of those minutes the following had happened;
“what the hell, dan?!”
said man had done an overhand serve with the ball, accidentally aiming it straight where the woman was hitting her upper chest—luckily enough she had managed to save it. but, still, she was a little bit offended.
he couldn’t help but laugh at his own actions—which he swore he didn’t mean to do.
still laughing (all the while the game was still going on), he continues to apologize through it, “i am so sorry karen smith, i swear, it was an accident.”
after that little incident, the girl made it her number one mission to find the right timing for payback.
when she did, she gave it her all into passing that ball hitting it towards the australian’s lower region.
unfortunately for her and luckily for him, he dodged just in time letting it hit the sand instead—unfortunately giving her team a point.
daniel and mick’s eyes were still trained where the ball had landed, seeing how harshly it hit the ground—daniel looked at it more with relief than he’d like to admit.
he turned around from the ball to look at her with ‘offense’, “dude!” he threw his hands up.
without wasting another breath, she pointed at him threateningly, “you hit my boobs! —i target you.”
in return, daniel raised both his hands in surrender and walked backwards to grab the ball and resume the game.
an hour or two later the game finished with daniel and mick on the losing team, leaving the other three in a high.
after high fiving both her teammates, the girl embraced the two men in purpose of gloating, she made sure to say audibly, “so, how did it feel like scoring your first win, boys?” she asked the two, though her eyes stayed on the two opposing teammates.
zhou smiled happily, seemingly glad that he could just participate at all, “feels pretty good, i must say.”
although lando wasn’t quite impressed by her question, “man, shut the fuck up.” he said, slipping out of her embrace to make his way over to the dock with the other five following behind.
“that’s not fair, you play aggressive.” daniel complained half-jokingly.
she was taken aback, “no i wasn’t, are you sure?”
knowing her, he knew her words were genuine(ly confused).
he wrapped his hand and smiled down at her cheekily, muttering lowly, “you don’t know your own strength.”
when they arrived on the boat, the first thing she saw the moment she stepped on the last step up was pierre, still calmly perched on his sun lounger with only his sunglasses protecting him.
the girl stared at him with questioning eyes, “have you moved? like, at all?”
“non.”
she all but shrugged, leaving him to burn under the sun.
when she entered the kitchen slash dining room slash living room, she was greeted with the hypnotizing smell of the food that filled the table—well, what was left of the food.
just as she was walking around said table, she heard the tapping of paws against the wooden floor and before she knew it, she was tackled by the doberman happily greeting her.
“hey, sweetheart, where have you been?” she scratched the dog’s head happily accepting her affection then suddenly being approached by a smaller collie she weren’t too familiar with, “and you… brought a friend?” she carefully stretched her hand out to pet the mystery puppy, “and who do you belong to buddy?”
“mine, actually.” the blonde thai entered the room with a water bottle in his hand. “his name’s otter, or, otto.”
“awh,” she pouted at the information before looking down at the puppy once again, “i love you.” she unhesitatingly hugs the puppy who then wags his tail with even more energy.
alex was about to comment but she beat him to it, “hey, what happened to everyone?”
“uhh—i think esteban took lance out on a boat,”
“i didn’t know ocon was capable of that.”
“not every two-people getaway is in the purpose of murder.”
“sure, tell yourself that.”
“whatever; charles is terrorizing yuki somewhere and carlos went to the bait shop in the island with george.”
“bait shop? is that a bar? there’s a bar here?”
“no– just a normal bait shop… for… fishing… you do know?”
“yes.”
“oh, hey, that reminds me; i’ve been meaning to ask, why didn’t fernando agree to this, again? i would assume he would jump at the chance at the first mention of lake.”
the alpine driver was currently calmly lounging on his chair doing whatever it is people his age does when suddenly two of the younger drivers on the grid appeared behind him.
he paused whatever he was doing when he felt the presence of two demons giggling behind him, he turned around quickly with a flat expression.
“what do you two want?”
they only giggled when he look at them dead in the eyes, earning raised brows expectantly from him.
the man heard whispers of “you say it”, “no you say it” bounced back and forth from the two.
“just say it.” he ordered the moment they got on his last nerve. (well, they were already on his last nerve the moment they arrived but now it was in the negatives.)
the british of the two decided to be the one to start, “we just wondered why… how—”
“we were just wondering why you haven’t turned to dust under the sun.” she cut him off.
now giggling again, lando continued, “it’s just we’re worried, this lake trip is going to have a lot of sun exposure.”
“we still like you, nan.” she finished, both of them continuing their giggling spree.
“you know what, that’s it.” he stood up from his chair, no longer feeling the relaxing peace and quiet he did before, “just like that, i’m not going. you kids are driving me crazy and i need this break.”
their faces dropped at the sudden ‘outburst’, both of them scurrying behind him to beg and plead for his mercy.
“uhh—he already had other plans.” she paused, then looking over him, “and what are you doing here?”
“trying to find a frisbee for the three of us.”
she tilted her head in question.
“me, otto, and… jet.”
“oh. alright, go nuts.” she then stands up from the ground, popping her head out the window that goes out to the deck, “mick, lan, dan, zhou, any of you eaten anything yet?”
she got a chorus of no’s and not yet’s in response.
“i—you are seeing this, correct?”
“looking at the same thing as you are.”
after a good lunch break with the four men, they all had went their separate ways to spend the afternoon and after a lot of exploring, roo found her way back to the deck where the alphatauri driver is still lounging. though now he is fast asleep, —and sunburnt.
she didn’t say anything else opting for nodding her head and slowly moving to the sun lounger beside her—vision directly facing the burnt french.
seeing as she was no longer standing next to him, he crouched down, “what are you thinking about, cariño?”
she shrugged, “nothing… just going to relax here.”
safe to say he did not trust her answer, he squinted as he stood back up.
the spaniard crossed his arms, “can i trust you…”
at that, the woman looks up craning her neck, she then pulls down her sunglasses to bat her eyelashes at him with a sweet smile.
he couldn’t help but reciprocate her energy. with one last smile, he turned around, and by chance he was met with lance who were just passing by. he grabbed the aston martin driver and whispered warningly—all the ‘sweetness’ from his previous encounter dropped, “that is a smile of a con-woman. do not trust her, watch her.”
before lance could even react, carlos was already long gone.
something bad had happened. he left for ten good minutes and he already heard the french-accented sound of agony coming from the deck.
next thing he knew, he was already there with the rest of the drivers all crowded there too to witness what just happened—arriving just in time for the sound of splashing on the side of the boat could be heard.
roo was already there with her hands on the side of the boat, looking down at the man overboard.
all the drivers followed where she was and where her eyes were brightly looking at with a cackle, squished together to all stand along the boat railings to see the emerging alphatauri driver from under the waters.
the girl, still laughing her ass off was getting cursed out in french, even hearing her full name coming out of her mouth.
carlos immediately snapped his head towards her direction, “what did you do?!”
she was still far too busy laughing, leaving the frenchman to answer angrily for her, “espèce de connard!” he cursed at her, “she fucking slapped my sunburn!”
that statement itself had made lando spilt a single cackle, zhou and mick covering their mouth in self-control after imagining pierre’s words.
said man give the three a large glare that didn’t really change their state.
the spaniard then turned to lance with eyes wide, “i told you to watch her!”
“i’m not her babysitter!” he defended, “—lando is! i gave him a fifty-dollar bill to do it!” he continued his defense. (which quite frankly didn’t help him much.)
“so you gave a child a job to watch another child?!” carlos fumed.
“i— well you got me there.” the canadian shrugged and let go of it.
lando, hearing his name, quickly chimed in with offense lacing his tone, “hey! in my defense; i handed the job over to charles!”
everyone then turned to the resident monégasque. he threw his hands in defense, when he spoke his tone a lot less defense-y more reasoning, “what? i am on vacation, i’m not babysitting!”
of all this happening, they all failed to notice the angry frenchman emerging from the stairs—skin red and dripping with lake water.
his wet steps walked slowly towards the culprit—the war criminal in a diy ripped clothing, “count your days.” he threatened lowly, accent thicker than usual, before walking inside the houseboat funnily, body still aching from his ‘little’ predicament.

Trailer park Steve AU part 61
part 1 | part 60 | ao3
cw: mentions of canonical minor character death
Chapter 14
It's twilight by the time they make their way to Rick's place — gnat clouds swarming, sun dipped low, Lover's Lake an inky smudge beyond the blur of passing pines. Steve’s not totally sure how they got here, this dusty service road that's more pothole than pavement; one minute he's bitching about doomed love and double VHS, the next he’s taking the scenic route to a drug den.
There were some important moments in between, he’s pretty sure.
He’s also pretty sure he blacked out somewhere around the moment the morning news reported that an-unidentified-Hawkins-student-who-very-well-could-be-Eddie-Munson was found dead in his fucking trailer.
Kinda difficult to resurface from that one.
Feels like his soul’s got swimmer’s ear.
Even hours later — after Dustin and Max burst into Family Video talking a mile a minute about how Eddie was alive and they needed to use the phones; after Ernie stupidly gave a reporter Steve’s name, swearing up and down on the TV that his neighbor Steve Harrington was an upstanding young man who would never do something like this; after they spent an agonizingly long afternoon lying low and taking backroads to avoid the cops because the cops probably suspect Steve of murder now, oh god—
“It’s this next right up ahead,” Max says from the back seat. There's a map spread over the bench between her and Dustin, and Steve blinks himself awake; gives her a nod in the rearview.
Beside her, Dustin’s munching on Twizzlers he stole from the store — window down, easy slouch, just way too chipper for the situation at hand. "So Steve," he says conversationally, "now that you're a fugitive, does that mean—?"
Steve cuts Robin a pleading look.
Robin reaches back and smacks the little twerp upside the head.
"Ow!" Dustin whines.
"Shut up, please," Robin smiles.
Max makes a sound like she's trying not to laugh and checks the map again. "Right here," she says, pointing. "After that weird tree stump."
They turn onto another road that could be generously described as paved, once, several decades ago, and eventually, the winding path lets out onto a slightly nicer street. Aging but cared for, Holland Road is a crowded row of little lake houses, trailers and shacks with manicured shrubs and chipped fence paint, weeds growing through the sidewalks beneath pristine American flags. Steve pulls into the driveway of #2121.
It looks abandoned. Dark inside and out, a truck parked on the curb that's likely been there for a while, its tires sagging in a mulch of old wet leaves. There’s an autumn wreath on the front door.
“You sure this is the place?” he asks as they climb out of the car.
Max sasses him for questioning her navigation skills, Dustin unsuccessfully tries to land a revenge slap on Robin — a move that earns him a retaliation wedgie and a wrestling match he was never gonna win — and Steve pops the trunk and feels a hundred years old. Feels every bit the exhausted dad trying to keep the family road trip together as he grabs his nail bat and slings his duffel over his shoulder.
"You planning to spend the night?" Dustin teases from Robin's armpit, still bent double where she's got him in a headlock.
"No, just-" he drops the bag at their feet with a grunt, “doesn’t hurt to be prepared.”
Dustin’s eyes bug out. “Is that a can of goddamn bear mace?”
“Keep your voice down!” Steve hisses.
“You keep your voice down!”
"Should I just go ahead and choke him out?" Robin offers.
Steve considers it for a second: knock 'em all out, stuff 'em back inside the car. Go do this shit quietly by himself.
He rolls his eyes and puts his hands on his hips.
"You're no fun," she pouts, but she lets Dustin go.
Dustin grabs flashlights and walkies out of the bag, passes them around the circle. They take a moment to steel themselves — huddled together in the dark, shoulders tense, the creepy house looming ahead. Sharp shadows stretch toward them. Croaking sounds creeping from the edges of the lake.
Robin puts her flashlight under her chin like she's about to tell a scary story. "Alright, kiddos," she says in a deep, ominous voice. "Let's go rescue Steve's ex."
Stunned silence in the sudden vacuum her words create. Steve lets out a tired sigh. Dustin’s jaw is on the curb.
“His WHAT?” Dustin shouts.
Oh, my god. “He’s not my ex."
Robin rolls her eyes and says ‘sure’ under her breath, and Max turns to Dustin, laughing. “You didn’t know they were a thing?”
“We’re not—” Steve tries again.
“What were you trying to get them back together for then?”
She seems genuinely curious. Dustin seems three seconds from spontaneous combustion. “What was I WHAT?!” he yelps, limbs everywhere. Reminds Steve of Eddie so bad it hurts.
“Okay,” Steve interrupts, clapping them both on the shoulder; drops his voice to a harsh whisper. “In case you two forgot, we’re here to rescue Eddie.”
“Who you’re dating.”
Dustin’s voice is small, disconnected, his gaze far away. Like he’s shellshocked.
“Jesus Christ.” Steve pinches the bridge of his nose. “I— Yes. No. It’s complicated.”
Max snorts at his answer, Dustin makes a series of faces like he's gonna need seven years to process, and Robin interrupts his crisis by waving her flashlight like a traffic guard, walking backward up the hill as she directs them toward the house.
“Why don’t we just go find him first?” she suggests, making a rainbow with her hands, flinging light through the grimy windows. “And then Stevie here can answer alllll your big gay questions.”
Steve glares at Robin. Dustin glares at him, narrowed eyes for a full ten seconds like 'yeah, you fucking better,' and then he takes off up the driveway hollering Eddie's name.

Eddie Munson x afab!reader
♱ ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AU
Summary: Four months into the outbreak, survival was all that mattered. I had been alone until I found Eddie Munson—someone I barely tolerated—lurking nearby. Despite our differences, we teamed up, navigating the ruins of our world together.Then, everything fell apart.A sudden horde forced us to run in opposite directions. Now, lost and alone again, I had no idea if Eddie was alive or dead. But I had to find him—no matter what. ♱
A/N: This idea has been on my mind for a while, and I finally decided to bring it to life. I’m incredibly grateful for the support—40 followers and over 1,000 likes is more than I ever expected. Thank you all so much!
Warnings: anxiety attacks, mention of a close death, zombies. If you don’t like it don’t read
Wc - 1.2k
“Eddie, can you hear me?” I pressed down on the button of my walkie-talkie, my voice barely above a whisper. Silence. Then, just static.
I swallowed hard, peeking around the crumbling brick wall of an abandoned building. The street ahead was eerily empty—no movement, no groans, no signs of the undead. But that didn’t mean they weren’t lurking. It had been hours since we got separated, and every passing second without contact gnawed at me. I knew Eddie. I knew his limits, his fears. He could face a fight, handle close calls with raiders, even talk his way out of the worst situations. But zombies? That was different. That was the one thing he couldn’t handle.
We had been scavenging for supplies when we heard them—hundreds of them. The sheer number was overwhelming, their guttural snarls filling the air, echoing off the hollow remains of the city. In the chaos, we ran, splitting up in opposite directions. I had been searching ever since. I refused to go back to base without him. That wasn’t an option.
Taking cover inside a half-collapsed storefront, I crouched behind the counter, gripping my walkie-talkie so tightly my knuckles turned white. What if he was in trouble? What if he was—
The radio crackled.
“Y/N… are you there?”
I exhaled sharply, fumbling to turn the knob to respond. “Eddie! Oh my god, are you okay? I was so fucking worried!” I let go of the button, waiting anxiously for his response.
More static. Then, breathing—shaky, uneven breathing.
Shit.
He was panicking.
I knew that sound too well. The rapid breaths, the struggle to stay composed—it was an anxiety attack creeping in, the kind that could paralyze him if he didn’t get it under control.
“Hey, hey, calm down, Eddie. Where are you?” I kept my voice steady, controlled, pressing the button again and waiting.
A few seconds passed before his voice came through, small and trembling. “I’m on Sherry Lane… by the gas station.”
I frowned, quickly pulling out the crumpled map I kept tucked in my bag. That was at least a thirty-minute walk from here—maybe less if I took the alley shortcuts, but those were risky. I didn’t care. I had to get to him.
“That’s far, but I’m coming, okay? You just need to hang tight and try to breathe. Can you do that for me?” I spoke gently, hoping my words could ground him.
On the other end, I could hear him sniff, his breaths uneven. “Please h-hurry…”
My heart clenched. “I will. Just stay where you are.”
Shoving the map back into my bag, I hoisted the heavy pack onto my shoulders and slipped out of the building, making sure to stay low. The streets were dark now, the sun having fully set. That made things both easier and harder—easier to move undetected, but harder to see what was coming.
“Alright, Eddie, listen to me,” I murmured, keeping my voice hushed as I moved along the edge of a broken-down car. “Go to the back of the building, away from the street. Try to stay quiet. Take deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth. I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere.”
I could hear him following my instructions, his shaky inhales mixing with the static of the walkie-talkie.
Fifteen minutes. That’s all I needed.
But then, as I rounded a corner, I saw them.
A horde.
They hadn’t noticed me yet, but it was only a matter of time. Dozens of them, their slow, shuffling movements blocking the direct path to Eddie.
I cursed under my breath and immediately turned on my heel, retreating into a narrow alleyway. I had to find another way—fast.
I yanked the worn, crumpled map from my bag, smoothing it out with trembling fingers as I scanned for another route. There was only one other way to get to Eddie, and while it was technically faster, it was also far more dangerous. A direct path meant moving straight through a street teeming with the undead. But what choice did I have? Every second that passed, Eddie’s breathing grew worse, crackling through the walkie-talkie in uneven gasps. He was spiraling, and I had to get to him before he completely broke down.
I adjusted the straps of my bag, took a deep breath, and bolted through another alleyway. The street ahead stretched into the darkness, the gas station barely visible in the distance. It wasn’t far, but every step felt like a mile with the threat of death lurking around every corner. As I rounded a bend, I caught sight of a lone zombie clawing at a shattered storefront window, its grotesque form illuminated by the flickering remnants of an old neon sign. It hadn’t noticed me yet. Moving as quietly as possible, I edged past it, holding my breath until I was safely out of range.
My eyes flicked up to a two-story house nearby. That was it—Eddie’s temporary shelter. A faint light glowed from the second-floor window. He was in there. I pressed the walkie-talkie to my lips.
“Eddie, open the window. I’m right here.”
For a moment, there was nothing. Then, I saw movement. Slowly, he turned his head toward the window, his movements sluggish, as if he wasn’t fully present. He pushed it open weakly before slumping back down against the wall, disappearing from view.
Shit.
I scanned the street once more, making sure the coast was clear, then sprinted for the house. My heartbeat pounded in my ears as I reached the window, tossing my bag inside first before pulling myself up and through, landing with a quiet thud. I wasted no time securing the window and quickly moving to the closet to block any potential light from seeping out.
When I turned back to Eddie, my stomach twisted.
He was slumped against the wall, his head resting back as he stared blankly at nothing. His usually expressive face was drained of life, his eyes hollow and exhausted. I stepped closer.
“Eddie… are you okay?”
The moment my voice reached him, something in him snapped. His head shot up, and before I could react, he lunged forward, wrapping his arms around me in a bone-crushing embrace. I stumbled slightly as he buried his face into my shoulder, his entire body shaking violently. He wasn’t just scared—he was falling apart.
A muffled sob escaped him, and I felt my heart break just a little more.
I didn’t hesitate. I wrapped my arms around him, one hand instinctively moving to the back of his neck, my fingers threading through his tangled curls as I held him close.
“Shhh… you did so good, Eddie. Thank you for waiting for me,” I murmured, my voice soft and reassuring.
His grip on me tightened, his breath warm and ragged against my skin. “I-I can’t do it,” he choked out between sobs. “I can’t handle being alone. It—it gives me so much anxiety. It’s draining, it’s terrifying… ever since that day, I—I—” His words crumbled into another wave of trembling cries.
I knew what day he was talking about. The day I found him.
It had only been three months since we became partners, but I knew Eddie better than anyone. He wasn’t just afraid of zombies—he was terrified of isolation. He had been alone when the outbreak began, and when I met him, he was barely holding it together. That day still haunted him.
He had told me about it once—how a zombie had grabbed him from behind, how he had hit the ground so fast he thought it was over right then and there. He got lucky. If he hadn’t fought back, if he hadn’t reacted fast enough, he wouldn’t be here now. Ever since then, he couldn’t handle the thought of being left alone, even for a second.
And now, after today, that fear was stronger than ever.
“I know, Eddie. I know you’re scared,” I whispered, continuing to rub soothing circles into the back of his neck. “But you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere. You hear me?”
He nodded against me, his breath still uneven, but the weight of my words seemed to settle him. I kept talking, murmuring reassurances, grounding him as best as I could.
“Don’t think about what’s out there. Just focus on me. Everything’s going to be okay. I’ve got you.”
He let out a shaky exhale, the tension in his body slowly easing. His grip on me didn’t loosen, though—if anything, it tightened. I could feel his exhaustion seeping into me, his body growing heavier as the adrenaline drained out of him. He was still shaking, but less than before. The worst of the panic was passing.
I ran my fingers through his hair, scratching his scalp lightly. I knew this always helped him relax, and sure enough, I felt his breathing slow as his body melted into mine.
“Next time…” he mumbled, his voice barely audible. “Next time, we go the same way. I don’t care what’s going on.”
I nodded against him. “Next time, we stick together. I promise.”
I meant it.
Because seeing him like this? Seeing him break like this?
I never wanted to go through that again.
This story will be a series, as I have a deep appreciation for zombie apocalypse AUs. I find them both engaging and versatile, making them an enjoyable setting to explore. Expect multiple parts. :) ꪆৎ

Scp 076 Crush Headcanon
At first he doesn't know it he had one on you. You were an agent, you had been in the military and you got partnered up with this thick skull. You used to be a Captain in the infantry, you also quickly ranked up pretty quick at the foundation.
076 saw this and was impress by this. A "true leader" he used to call you. You didn't mind, as to well of course what he thought of you didn't matter, but what he does around mattered because, now you were in charge to keep him in control, which it was annoying, he did considered you as a leader, but he would step out of line sometimes.
Even though he step out of the line, he was still a bit more competent at the things that some irresponsible co-workers did. Surprisingly you did a lot, really heavy work, from paperwork to physical work, but it wasn't something that could throw you off, since you were used to it.
Scp 076 would admired all the hard work that you did for him. You would mercilessly scold him when he did something cruel, you would train with him and give him challenges to complete. Training was most of the big thing, his favorite thing was running with you in the outside with the sun hitting both of you and the heat outside of the artificial outside campus they had for training.
Training together made both of you a bit closer, you told him stories about your deployment and he would listened to them amazed, but never showing it because of his pocker face. Sometimes, when you scolded your soldiers he would step in, even if they were acting up or not, and you will tell him and everyone who you were yelling at to drop down.
You will literally lose your voice because of him doing this. Of course 076 was hated for this. You will always leave off the room piss off having to cool off somewhere else, and oh yeah, he will be following you. He would stay out of your way but of course not out of your sight.
You two complemented each other, he had actually helped you with making exercise and the physical therapy, since working in the military had damage your muscle and almost cripple you for life because of irresponsible leaders who refuse to help their soldiers when they said they knees or back hurt. You were really grateful for it.
He ended up using some of your daily quotes that you said around. "Bullshit","As long as we fucking tracking", and military branches to describe other agents, "Hey Marine", or the one that stress other the most "Hey HERO" most of the time he liked when you were angry, since he knew something 'good' was coming, by good is that someone will get callout for their bs behavior.
In missions he was always sticking to your side, he had protect you when you saw a dead agent around and you had to do the work of cleaning them up, so no one tries to get anything important from them. He also appreciates when you also try to protect him too, when you warn him about enemies and show him some small trick of how to use new technology, even thought he refuse to use a pistol he needed basic knowledge, at least on how to use a walkie-talkie.
After some missions you ended up rewarding him with being able to help with the dogs of the foundation, he was able to train them and take care of them with you and he loved that, but he hated the other people around. There was an agent who was clingy to you. No, let me rephrased that, half of the staff or agents that work around of the foundation saw you as a parental figure, they were all equally clingy to you. Dudes older than you calling you mom/dad.
076 saw this and hated it, he thought you deserved more respect because you were greater than that, and even hear the comments of who you would look good with as a partner figure since, of course there were other staff members who were looked up like that too. You didn't mind this, it surprised you that dude's older than you accidentally called you mom or dad or other staff members came to your office crying to you for any weird problem that they had.
He will try to get them off of you, you, on the other hand, you did mind this, you told him to stop forcing people out of your office or to be away, even thought you had work to do, you also look out for others well being, even his own and not to get in the way of it. So he would stare at whoever came in anger wishing their were gone from your office.
He enjoyed alone times with you, you used to sneak him some sweets, talk to him, he had slowly opened up to you, and you both even ride one of those golf cars that the foundation used around with him while blasting some music. They banned both of you because they thought you were breaching him containment because you surpass the limits of where he had to be.
By the time 076 had warm up to you a lot, he is bit more open with what he feels, he doesn't do a lot of talking about himself but sometimes throws small details that you quickly catch onto. He overhear others and see the behavior of other couples, he had found himself thinking about it with you and even more after you took him fishing one time. He keeps overhearing other people keep talking about love, the things that he knows are 'love languages and what love is and what partners sometimes do' and really weird loop holes and rabbit holes of 'love' that he still didn't understand, since its all different from his culture.
He started to think more about you as a partner and what people say, he didn't care whether if it was positive or negative. He was embarrassed to ask, so he would have to find out on his own and not to get caught and of course he would never ask because its not his thing. So, he would have to relay of what other say and what they do too. He also thought about what he remembered what he did on his culture to pursue someone romantically.
Recently you were called for a mission, you told him and he was and about for not being able to go with you, he complained that to you and you listened and try to calm him down by telling you couldn't do anything about it, but in case you didn't come back to enjoy your company while it lasted it. He told you not to talk like that, it was a dead man talk and you even yourself told him not to ever do that. You laugh realizing how much you had taught him and went doing physical training again.
When you left, he was locked in his cell, he took the time to do exercise and read books, after a week he had ask for you and they still gave you no answer, they ended up changing you from someone else and he was so upset to that and demanded an answer on why they changed you. To which they told him it was for the mean time, and that you gave him some task to do while you were gone with one of your co-workers. He didn't like them either, he acted out a lot with them.
As it turns out you were on the hospital because you got shot on the chest, he demanded to see you, but was put on request to a senior staff who ended up asking you if it was okey for him to come. The moment 076 pass that room and saw you he started to start to demand what happen for you to go like that. Not even a warning and you are jumpscared and bombarded with question.
You told him to calm down and you explain to him the whole thing, he thinks you are badass to survive. After an hour he is taken back to his cell. He thinks to himself about what had happen. He thinks you are a warrior fighting for your life and others. He still wishes he had be there in the mission and next to you in the hospital room, the same way your co-workers were hanging out with you in your hospital room, it made him mad he wasn't in neither on them, that's why he put a long face when he was on his way to his cell and when he got there. For the pass days he would think of everything and questions everything.
After you had fully recovered, you went to see him to surprise him. He was happy and the best part he even attempted to make physical contact which was new and you accept it. He tried to hug you, awkward, but wholesome. You got to hang out there for about 30 minutes until they told you they needed you for something and you left. He thought about the hug he gave you, he didn't want to think about it, but couldn't stop.
He thought maybe the next day he could try to hug you again, and the next day and then he wondered what physical contact he could make with you. Then he stop for a second, why was he thinking about all of this? He realizes what has he been doing and then all the thoughts rush inside him.
The next day he got distant with you, you thought it was normal or tried to believe so, but it felt weird than his usual distant persona, this showed that you knew him maybe well or too well. When you asked him he questioned why were you asking and that it was nothing, you of course didn't say anything and still tried to engage with him as usual.
Your interaction with him started to get a bit questionable, not sure what was happening with him, but you took a step to tell him that it was okey to tell you any problem he had and that you will never judge him. He again told you he didn't have any, you told him that it was okey if he didn't have any now, but maybe in the future he could always come to you. You try to avoid on keep asking him to not upset him.
After one week of you telling him, a breach containment happen, you were on your office it was late, but when you hear the intercom saying that 076 breach containment you lock the office door. Not even a second of doing, so you get massive amounts of messages because he broke out pf containment and now somehow its your fault.
You tried to contact anyone to ask them what was happening on to why he did that, then a call from the intercom inside of your room call you saying that you should go to the cafeteria immediately in demands on 076.
~~~
You went rushing to the cafeteria, not sure of what was going on or why 076 was on the lose, but maybe have some answers there. When you open the door you saw how the tables where aside and saw Able in the middle, two d-classes both typed up and a deer.
"What..." You said looking at him.
Able was holding goat one D-class too.
"What in the actual fuck" you said you were so confuse.
He didn't say anything, but he knew you weren't a good reaction, maybe he should take initiative.
"Come closer" he said and you comply.
"Able... what is going on?" You said.
"I brought you a offering, im not sure if your parents were alive, so im making it to you the offering on taking your hand" he said he paused and approached you with the deer and D-class. When he got close you could see what D-class he took. This D-class used to give you trouble and 076 knew it, seeing him in such a position made you wanted to laugh and feel bad for him.
"I brought what was close for the offering, you didn't have sheeps here p,but deers near by and the D-classes who used to dishonor you" he said.
"Wait, hold on why did you do.. this?" You asked him.
"For your hand" he reply.
"You mean marriage?" You asked.
"Yes, it may not be practical, but its close. Please, take my offering for your hand and i will be by your side till death and give you protection even from the people here. What do you say?" he asked and looked at you waiting for your answer.
... @toadettely @sopping-wet-cat-wizard y'know, april fools is over, BUT...
"No, what am I saying- That's too mean, I can't do that-" "Fufufu~ But I can~" (`▽ ´) // "YOU-" (/`ᗣ ´ )/
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(TW: blood/gore, death, car crash incident, graphic imagery)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
S&S: There is a world where Brent never meets Eevee. There is a world where he wakes up one morning, yawning as he rubs his eyes. He'd been somewhat exhausted by his gaming session with "Sofist" last night, not that it was unenjoyable. He gets ready for the day as per usual, nothing out of the ordinary. It's all regular, for now, that is. Walking out of his apartment, he raises an eyebrow at the suspicious amount of cars stuck on the local road. Oh well, a crash of some kind? He shrugs and continues walking down the road. Ducking under some construction, he carefully avoids all the prying eyes and workers, taking his shortcut to the cafe. What he sees when he turns the corner, however? Well..
It's graphical, distraught to say the least. He can see the limb of somebody, splayed across the road in a pool of blood. He winces. Damn? They'd been sloppy setting up the perimeter apparently, blocking it from normal eye-witness view, but not from here. Either way, he couldn't make out too much between the ambulance and the police cars stationed in the intersection.
As for the authorities, he can make out them questioning certain people and speaking into their walkie talkies. Their faces are far away but filled with concern as they discuss with each other. Meanwhile, the paramedics tending to the body on the ground, and.. For some reason, he pauses. It's not in any of his good interests to watch this, to get involved with some random traffic incident of an unfortunate civilian, and yet? Something tugs at him, opposing his normal desire to stay out of conflict and general indifference/apathy. He doesn't know why, why this moment specifically?, but it doesn't.. feel.. weird. It's weirdly urging, instead bringing him to stop in his tracks. As he choicely watches the paramedics ready the body bag, he catches a glimpse of the poor man who had faced the consequences.
His hair was curly, coifs of coffee brown tinged with blood. His facial hair was the same color, and his gaze relaxed. His eyes were partially closed in a stereotypical thought of sleeping, with a glint from the sun revealing his hazed over green eyes, devoid of any brightness. What catches Brent's eye immediately, however, is his bright purple coat. Most of it is soaked with crimson gore, now a dark maroon, but even still. It's such a stand out, he can't help but wonder how the man even got hit in the first place.
After a few more seconds, the guided feeling seems to go away, and he turns his head away from the scene. (Unbeknownst to him, he'd been watching for, comparatively, far longer than a few seconds.) Best to move on, for whatever reason he felt compelled to watch EMTs deal with the body, almost as if he was making sure they would properly take care of him. It was weird, but whatever. He didn't have enough time to stay around and see him get sent off, realizing he was late for his shift. Despite his sudden spike of empathy, it was just another day, just with an unfortunate incident. He prayed for the man though, as he finally set foot onto regular sidewalk. May his soul, and whoever he is, rest in peace, for meeting such an untimely end.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking into the cafe, the door closed behind him with the bell's signature jingle. Vern's head shot up, his face twisted with a hint of concern as he rushed over to Brent, who'd barely placed his bag on the desk before Vern grabbed his shoulders, gripping them firmly and causing Brent to jolt a bit out of surprise.
"Brent! Oh my god, you scared me-" "?" "-I saw the crash nearby, and you- came in a few minutes later than you normally do, and- oh god I'd just thought the worst!" Vern could hardly control himself from his ramble, spilling out his emotions, but he paused when he noticed the rather amused look on Brent's face. Brent only chuckled at him, despite the severity of the situation/his anxiety. Vern gave him a dirty look, but let out a sigh of both relief and annoyance relief, glad to know his friend was okay.
As Vern let go of his shoulders, Brent starting unpacking stuff from his bag. Placing his log sheet and charger down in the little table within the break room, Vern asked:
"Why were you late anyways? You normally show up before I even get here. Did something.. actually happen while you were getting here?" He added tentatively.
"..." He paused, his hands tightening around his laptop, contemplating if it was worth it to tell Vern. About the man he'd seen, eyes hazed over in death, body dull and cold, hair stiff with dried blood. It was something in it of its own right, something that he wished he hadn't seen. But at the same time, the death of this random civilian weighed heavier than it should've in his heart. He didn't know why, but still, maybe it was the sight of his eyes; ones that pierced his soul, staring at him even after passing. They were so.. cold. Almost as if they were blaming, in hatred. His blood chilled, thinking about it all, and a heaviness set in the room. Oh. Man, he'd never felt this way before. He'd just witnessed death, hadn't he? How was he acting like this was all okay?
He held in a sigh, settling for a tight exhale as he shook his head, not looking up from his stuff. No, it was best not to trouble his more emotionally affected friend with his.. issues. Were he to tell Vern, he'd likely become more aggrieved than him. Even still, looking up and noticing Vern's still apprehensive gaze, he feigned a small smile; keeping it up even as he looked back down in the black expanses of his duffel bag, now empty. He couldn't bring himself to meet his eyes. "I'm serious dude, nothing happened. Don't worry about it."
"... Alright, if you say so." The air was thick with tension, the silence being left unbroken. Vern's footsteps were soft as they padded against the tiled floor, the door slowly creaking closed behind him. One last glance behind his shoulder, before he fully shut the door, putting on a smile to greet the guests that had entered the cafe. Meanwhile, the room had become dimmed sightly with the waning sunlight as the light from the cafe dissipated. Brent stared down once more, as if questioning the true morality behind what he'd seen. With a sigh, his shoulder slumped. Sitting down onto the rickety foldable chair, he put his head in his arms, on top of the table. He wasn't ready to go out. Not just yet. Not while the green eyes of someone haunted him. He couldn't just go and pretend everything was okay, even he had no damn idea why the death of some random stranger had messed him up so badly.
Vern found him struggling to think of positive messages to write atop his orders for the rest of the afternoon. Brent did not come out of the break room for a long time, and even once he did, he was silent as he worked. Nick didn't come in for coffee that day.
#swizard this ended up getting too long (as always) but TRUST I WILL BE BACK FOR YOU. :)#i feel like my writing has come back a little bit but in the manner that i..#despite really wanting to; i dont think i have the motivation or passion to continue my old WOTC drabbles..#idk maybe itll come back to me eventually but i fear that its been so long that the ideas ive had for them have just sorta.. faded..#and my motivation to write them as a result has too#idk its kind of a relief that im not loosing my ability to write but it still stings yknow#oh well its not the end of the world ig; and with any luck ill hopefully come back to them even if its REALLY far into the future-#pc rpf#rpf#skill and spill#king of soph#Also this does feel rather ooc for this au/definitely MY style of writing vs Eldette's that Pen's able to recreate so well-#(just another example of Pen's superiority in writing XD /hj /lh /nm)#so take with a grain of salt/as a serious non-canon work XD#this got so much longer than i intended too as well (like always-) but thats mostly bc i never initially planned to write him going to work#but hey it just felt natural and then it gave me a leeway to brent which.. y'know. theres a reason why he felt so distraught. even if#its his unconsciously feeling as if somethings changed and being affected by what should just be a random strangers death#MAN this is probably one of the darkest things ive ever written? i feel a little worried tbh.. uhmm this really isnt for the lightest. /srs#sorry everybody im REALLY not trying to crumble el's sweet au at all PLEASE take this as un-canon as possible. /gen /srs
Negan x reader - just a day
HI!!! love your work!! Never done this before. Saw your request just now. I want Negan fluff with wife reader. Like they are taking a day off and just chilling together, and Negan told everyone not to disturb them unless they want to die. That's all I got, sorry it's not very creative🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️. - Anon💜
Standing outside, you basked in the warm sunlight, enjoying the way it felt, with a slight cool breeze.
Despite the growls of the walkers chained to the front of the building, it was still rather peaceful in a strange way.
You saw a few guards posted around the area, some workers going about their daily lives like they did every day.
You didn’t mind being at the sanctuary most days, but some days, like today, you were restless, you wanted to go for a walk, so that’s what you were doing.
Gun on your back, you made your way to the exit of the sanctuary only to be stopped by a couple of guards.
“Sorry ma’am, we’re under orders not to let you leave the premises without an official security detail.” One said.
“Negan?”
She nodded her head and you huffed a little.
“Well, I can’t find him, and I want to go for a walk, so am gonna go for a walk.”
“We can’t let you past.”
You groaned in annoyance.
You knew it wasn’t worth trying to sneak past them, they were just going to end up following you and that would ruin the whole point of a peaceful walk.
So, instead, you turned back around, sitting on the hood of one of the parked cars, resting your back against the windshield.
“Negan wants to see you.” Dwight said.
You didn’t bother moving from your spot.
You held out your hand for his walkie, and he handed it over to you.
You pressed your finger on the button before speaking.
“Negan?”
You let go and waited for a response.
“Well it took Dwighty boy long enough to find you. Where are you (Y/N)?”
You thought for a moment, debating on what you wanted to tell him.
“Come and find me.”
You smirked a little to yourself, handing the walkie talkie back to Dwight despite the man on the other end asking where you were.
“Are you gonna tell him?”
“You know I have to, sorry.”
“Come on, there’s no fun in that Dwight, let him ponder, maybe it’ll deflate his fat ego a little bit.”
Dwight chuckled a little, leaning against the car as he lit a cigarette.
“You know the moment you go back inside I’m going to find a new place to hide.”
“You know he doesn’t like it when you play that game.”
You took a deep breath, and shrugged a little bit.
“Yeah, but I do. It’s funny. So, see ya later pal.”
You quickly grabbed the handcuffs you hid your jacket and locked him to the handle of the car, dropping the keys a few feet in front of him.
You snickered and ran away from him, taking his Walkie Talkie with you just so you could keep tabs on where Negan would be looking for you.
It was easy enough to sneak back into the building, but you had no intentions of hiding inside, there was one spot you had to reach before you were caught.
“(Y/N) you know I’m gonna find you.”
You snickered again, pressing the button.
“Maybe you will, maybe you won’t. Do we have chips?”
“Come back and I’ll tell you.”
You found the door you were looking for and pushed it open, quietly closing it behind you.
Walking to the middle of the roof you laid down, setting the walkie and gun beside you.
You closed your eyes, basking in the sun again.
Up here was more peaceful, no people, no walkers, just you, and the sound of the door creaking open, something being dropped on the ground, being kicked into place, the door shutting but not closing fully.
Then steps walking over, along with the oh so familiar whistle.
You opened your eyes, watching as he finally came into view, setting Lucille down next to your gun, and a bowl next to your head.
Negan crouched down, resting his elbows on his knees.
“You know I know that you always come here.”
“Well obviously that’s the point.”
He chuckled, reaching down he placed a finger on your forehead.
“You know why I can’t let you go outside the sanctuary without guards either, don’t you? Because if Rick the prick and his little band of dickwads find you they’ll take you.”
“Come on Negan, you know I don’t like the guards you put with me, they’re load, and always complain.”
“It is a necessary precaution.”
You sat up, turning yourself around to look at him, and you picked up the bowl of chips he had given you.
“I want to go for a walk.”
“Then let me assign you some protection.”
You set the chips down, reaching your hands out and Negan let you take his hands.
“I want to go with you.”
“Now, sweetheart, you know I’m busy, with everything that’s going on I can’t afford to take a days break.”
You sighed a little, nodding your head because you knew he was right.
He was trying to make sure that no matter what happened he would win.
“I know…”
You stood up, picking up your gun you slung it over your back, and you grabbed your bowl of chips.
“You probably should give that back to Dwight.”
“Come on sweetheart, you’re pissed at me? Seriously?”
You didn’t say anything and Negan quickly got up, jogging over he wrapped an arm around your waist, making you stop.
Negan pulled your back against his chest, and he reached into the bowl, taking the last chip and eating it.
You didn’t say anything, and he took the bowl, throwing it like a frisbee off the roof.
“Negan come on, seriously? This is why we can’t have nice shit.”
He chuckled, humming a little bit.
“Are you really gonna be pissed off with me because I won’t let you go for a walk alone?”
You didn’t say anything, but you did bring a hand up behind you, running your fingers through the hair on the back of his head.
Negan buried his face into the crook of your neck, pressing a couple of small kisses to your skin.
“Come on, don’t be pissed.”
You rested your head on his.
“Sweetheart, this is for your own safety. You know this, you know why I have those rules in place, why u do what I do. It’s to keep you safe, because the prick will use you to get to me.”
“Then come with Negan, please. Come on.”
You felt him sigh.
You pat his hand, telling him to let you go, and he did, watching as you made your way back to the door.
“(Y/N)!” He called.
You were gone, making your way back down the stairs.
Negan clenched his jaw a little, walking back he grabbed the walkie and Lucille, following you back into the building.
He knew you would’ve gone back to his room, so that’s where he went after taking a detour to pass the walkie on to someone else, then we went to his room, closing the door behind him.
You were laid under the covers, with them pulled up over your head, your gun propped up against the wall.
“(Y/N).”
You didn’t reply, and he set Lucille next to your gun, making his was over to you, laying in front of you.
“Don’t ignore me.”
Negan grabbed the covers and pulled them down, away from your face, and you turned over.
“Oh come on, are you going to give me the silent treatment until I give in?”
You shrugged.
“Oh fucking hell sweetheart, do you want me to take a day off? Is that what you want?”
You stilled refused to reply.
Reaching over, Negan took his walkie and he pressed to button.
“Listen up you shitheads, I don’t give a shit what’s happening, I don’t give a fuck if you set yourself on fire, if someone punches you in the balls, I don’t give a fuck. If you bother me, if anybody bothers me for the rest of the day I’ll be using your fucking heads as batting practice. Do I make myself damn well clear?”
He waited, listening to the chorus of responses saying they understood.
He set the walkie down and turned back to you, reaching out the placed a finger on your chin and turned your head a little.
“You gonna stop being pissy now?”
You moved so you were laying on your back, and you stared up at the ceiling.
“Shit (Y/N), did I really fuck you off that much?”
The one thing Negan liked about you is that you were just about as stubborn as him, if not even worse.
You couldn’t give a shit about whatever was going on in the outside world, you lived in your own world, as long as you and the few people you cared about were safe it’s all that mattered for you.
Negan knew the extent of your wrath when you were pissed off, and he didn’t like to be on the receiving end of that.
“You want to go for that walk?”
You looked at him and this made him grin a little.
“Yeah, I knew that would get your attention. We’ll go for that walk if you stop being all mad with me.”
You pushed yourself up, and you grabbed your gun, leaving the room.
You knew Negan was going to follow you, he had just taken the day off so of course he was going to follow you.
It’s what he did when he didn’t have to do anything, he would never be all that far away from you.
You made your way outside, jogging down the steps, and you began making your way to the exit of the sanctuary.
“Do you want security?” A guard asked.
“Does it look like I want fucking security? No. I want to go out and spend some quality time with my wife.”
The quickly nodded and stepped aside, and you bit back a smirked as you walked past them.
Negan began his whistle again and you spun around to glare at him.
He raised his hands, glaring at you.
You turned around to carry on walking, taking the path into the forest, brushing your fingers through some of the green leaves.
Negan jumped over a fallen log, and he held his hand out to you, helping you over it.
He laced his fingers with yours and you copied him, moving yourself closer towards him without thinking, but it was something he noticed.
“Not that pissed off clearly.” He smirked.
You let go of his hand and smacked his chest.
Negan laughed, taking your hand back in his and he walked in front of you, making you stop.
You looked up at him, and he let go of your hand, bringing his hand up he brushed his knuckles along your cheek.
“I know sometimes I may neglect to give you the attention you deserve, I know most days I piss you off, most days you probably want to kick me in the dick.”
You half nodded, and he smiled at you.
“But shit sweetheart you are so beautiful… so fucking beautiful…”
Negan admired the way your eyes sparkled a little in the sunlight coming through the trees, the way you would stop to admire every flower you came across.
He was brutal, harsh, did things, unspeakable things, yet you were his, you were so beautifully in love with all the little things in life.
“You’re so fucking beautiful. If anything ever happened to you I swear to god I would kill every fucker who ever hurt you, every fucking bastard that got in my way to get to you. You know that right?”
You smiled softly, bringing your hand up to touch his.
“I know darling, I know you would. I just get so annoyed sometimes I guess, I just want to have some more of your time…” you mumbled.
“Why didn’t you tell me about this?”
You looked around the trees, heading a few walkers nearby.
“We should go.”
Negan looked around, nodding his head in agreement, and you both began your way back to the sanctuary.
He did try asking you questions but you wouldn’t reply, and he couldn’t exactly stop you outside so he waited.
His hand in yours as you both made your way back to his room.
Once inside you both set your weapons aside and he took your wrist to stop you from moving away.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He asked quietly.
“Because it’s stupid okay? Because I know it’s stupid, and it’s.. it’s selfish.”
“It’s not stupid, or selfish. Hell (Y/N), you should have told me, you know that’s all you need to do. Just tell me. I don’t care what it is.”
He placed his forehead on yours, and you closed your eyes, placing your hand on the back of his head to pull him down, connecting his lips with yours.
Negan was more than happy to kiss you back, his hands settling on your waist.
When you pulled away you smiled sweetly at him, and he gave you his signature grin.
“Do you love me?” You asked.
“You know I do.”
“Say it.”
“I love you.”
You grinned a little bit, tucking your head under his chin, your arms wrapping around his torso.
Negan placed a hand on your lower back, the other between your shoulder blades, rubbing small circles.
Negan heard his name being called on the walkie and he grumbled, going to move away but you wouldn’t let him.
“Ignore it…”
“I warned them.”
You looked up at him.
“You can deal with it later, just ignore them.”
He sighed, pressing a quick kiss to your lips.
“Anything you want.”
You grinned, heading over to the Tv you turned it on and sat on the floor, and he sat behind you, letting you sit between his knees, resting your back on his chest.
He wrapped his arms around you, and you placed your hands over his.
There was a knock on the door.
“Fuck off!” You yelled.
Negan laughed as he listened to footsteps quickly leaving, and he kissed your head.
“That’s my wife.”
Unexpected Joy
Fandom: FNAF
Ship: Sun/Moon
Chapters: 1/2 (in progress)
Rating: Teen
Words
Fic summary:
But quickly stepping back as heard the now familiar sounds of springs and his boyfriend landed in front of him. And he reached out to steady him even though it was completely unnecessary
“What happened?”
Sun asked the second he got a look at his face.
“Monty happened”
He grumbled as they walked back into the living space of their room. Sun let them over to the couch where he sank into with a large sigh.
or
Sun had been shutting down their internal communication all day, Moon wondered why that could be. Only to get distracted by Sun himself, and then Monty. Hopefully, he can get the answer by the end of the day.
Link to ao3
Or read it below the read more line:
He liked to claim that he knew his solar counterpart very well. Having shared a headspace will do that. But he would like to think it was simply because he knew how his boyfriend ticked. And there was definitely something going on. But he couldn’t pinpoint what.
Even though they didn’t share the same body anymore. They were still able to communicate with each other internally. He didn’t know who had made that decision as none of the other glamrocks could. But he was immensely grateful. It made running the daycare easier at the very least.
That and beating their friends during game nights. Sun might say it was cheating. But if it bothered him he would shut down communications completely. So far he had only done it once. And it was to prove he could really do it on his own.
And he did, and what a glorious night that was.
But back to the current situation. They were cleaning up after the daycare had closed. Sun was scrubbing down, the tables of any, glue, paint and marker stains. While he went through and over all the play structures. Taking out balls from the ball pit, small toys, wrappers and all sorts of other things the kids had left behind.
He didn’t know how the kids managed to take so much stuff in there. Even more impressive was what he would find on top. Like the plastic ball pit balls made sense. The kids threw them at each other all the time. No wonder some of them launched all the way to the top.
He picked up a single walkie-talkie. He turned it over a couple of times. As he walked to the edge of the play struckter calling down to Sun as he didn't respond the the internal message.
He would it found it more worrying if Sun had been doing anything else than scrubbing the table while humming the daycare’s theme. It had been like that all day. For some reason, his internal messages seemed to not get to Sun somewhere after playtime.
Sun turned it back on every time he let him know. And he seemed apologetic. Maybe he was turning it off without realising it. He wasn’t overly worried. If it kept happening he would make note of it. And maybe he should encourage Sun to go to parts and service.
But Sun could simply been making a surprise and subconsciously not want him to see. Accidentally Turned off the communication entirely. That seemed to be what it was last time. But Sun didn’t carry the same nerves around as the last time he planned a surprise. That’s why he was finding it a bit strange.
Sun finally looked up when he heard him.
“Something wrong Moony? Is there something broken up there?”
His boyfriend asked worryingly and frowning slightly. He loved the new faceplate on both of them. It certainly made Sunny as expressive as he had always sounded in their head.
“No, but do you know if one of the kids lost a walkie-talkie?”
Sun's eyes brightened with relief.
“Yes, Danny did. He only found one, did you find the other one?”
“Yeah, it was up here”
“What?! How did it get there? Oh no, you don’t think they climbed the structure do you!”
He jumped down, landing on the soft mats below and walked over to his partner. Softly grabbing his shoulders before he could worry himself into a spiral.
“We would have noticed that Sunbeam. And you most certainly would have put them in time-out. I think another kid might have taken it. And then shoved it through one of the net holes at the top”
Sun's knuckles knocked together anxiously a few times. Before taking a deep breath
“You’re right…You...are right indeed. Silly me.”
He moved one up to cup the corner of Sun's face. The rays retracted as he did.
“Hey, you are just worried about our little stars, Nothing wrong with that. I’ll just drop this off at Lost and Found when I do my security round. It will be right back with him in no time.”
Sun nodded leaning into his hand for a second, then stepping away.
“Good thinking, But I gotta clean up still. I think someone snuck in a permanent marker again”
He petted his partner's shoulder in sympathy and went to the security desk. Leaving the small toy at the edge so he wouldn’t forget it later tonight. Before hopping up on the desk to sit crosslegged on it. Staring at his boyfriend who continued to clean.
After a few minutes of just staring at his lover. Sun looked up, rays spinning for a moment as he caught his gaze and then huffed annoyed.
“If you are done, you can just help you know”
He dragged his eyes down his partner's body, giving away exactly what he had been staring at before.
“And miss the show. Why would I?”
He let his voicebox drop to its lowest setting. Just to see the beautiful pink blush graze Sunny’s face plate. It was very fun to fluster his partner.
Sun turned the rag in his hands over a couple of times. As he looked away. He saw it slowly morph into a mischievous little smirk.
"If you really want a show…"
Sun rose to his full height, slowly making his way towards him. And he let out a deep breath so that his fans wouldn't start up.
Sun's fingers were trailing along all the plastic tables as he walked closer.
"I could give you one if you want. "
There was likely a small blush on his face. He could reach inside himself and find the manual overrides. But what fun was in that? Sun was allowed to know if he did a good job riling him up.
"When have you known me to say no to that?"
Sun chuckled at his statement and came closer. Planting his hands next to his hips. Caging him in. He leaned back a little bit to keep his whole faceplate in his view. Surprised, but not unwelcomed.
"Well. If I was finished. I could start now…" Sun bends forward. Leaving a lingering kiss on his burning cheek.
"But since you don't want to help"
He growled, warping his arms around his partner's middle. Preventing him from moving back as he intended
"That's a dirty trick Sunbeam, you mischievous little shit"
Sun tutted.
"Language "
And then leaned forward. Closing the gap between their faceplates. Their silicone mouths slid together perfectly. Feeling the warmth of Sun's body beneath his own hands was one of his favourite sensations. Sun’s hands went from beside him to holding his hips, pressing in further and making him lean backwards.
He let out a soft groan extending his claws and teasing across the seam of the two coloured halfs of Sun’s bare waist before slipping beneath his shirt. Sun’s mouth left his own bending down future to mouth at his neck beam instead.
He let out a soft laugh, trying to not get too distracted. Sun had an ace up his sleeve somewhere. He just knows it. It wasn’t like him to drop the cleaning in its entirety for some hot making out. He’d tried that before and failed miserably.
it ended with Sun not kissing him for the rest of the day which sucked. Even if the next day more than made up for it. He was convinced Sun just loved riling him up sometimes. He couldn’t blame him. He did the same thing.
He was yanked from his thoughts when the hands around his hips shifted up to his waist. Sun's fingers felt hot against his bare endo. He wanted to look down and see. He loved seeing their colours contrast against each other. But Sun being at his neck prevented him from doing that.
He let his claws scratch lightly at his lover's back. Grinning he felt his lover shiver but Sun didn’t pull away. Then the hold on his hips changed, till it was teasing, and light. Fluttering quickly, he wasn’t able to scramble away before the Laugh escaped his voice box.
His boyfriend grinned against his neck as he continued to mercilessly tickle him. He tried to squirm away but his legs had locked up.
“I’ll stop if you’ll help me Moony~”
He shook his head, his laughter not dying down. He managed to open an eye between his shaky breaths to see his partner's cat-like grin. Sun was enjoying himself quite a lot with this.
He threw his head back with another round of laughter.
He saw their tether called for it, and it quickly came down, Trying to make a getaway. He didn’t account for Sun to grab the hook as it came down. Stopping it from attaching. While the hand that had been poking and his side went up towards the newly summoned attachment ring on his back.
The finger traced around the ring. It was way more sensitive than he had realised. The old ones had been sturdy. Annoying if someone pulled on it, it’s why he was glad that these new ones now stayed hidden when not using them. But he hadn’t noticed the increased sensitivity.
But Sun clearly had and was using it to his advantage. As he let out wheezes of laughter.
“Okay…okay. I surrender. Fuck..stop!”
The hand immediately dropped and he heard the cable fly back to the ceiling. Sun pulled away. But he hopped off after him, keeping close as he brought him down into another kiss. It was very awkward because he was still wheezing. But as he let go Sun looked happily dazed. And still too smug for his own good.
“Fuck you”
Sun rolled his eyes at his words, hand raising to his face, then tugging his cap over his eyes
“Get to cleaning Moony~”
His partner said in a sing-songy voice as he rightened his hat, Then noticed Sun leaning in close enough to whisper.
“But if you keep up the language you won’t get a show at all”
Sun moved away, and he wasn’t giving his partner the satisfaction of seeing his blushing face. Grabbing the rag Sun had left with some sanitiser and went to the table he had been scrubbing before.
There was still a little bit of a green washed-out stain on the table. The kind that looked like you went over it with cleaning product a dozen times. And just….stays. But he started scrubbing at it anyway. It did fade a bit more. Enough that he was happy with it. So when he stood back up to see if Sun was finished.
Only to see him sitting on the desk like he hand. Smirk high on his face, and giving a little wave. Eyelights changed to the white of their old faceplate so he couldn’t tell where he was looking
“You little…”
He stalked back over to his boyfriend, who didn’t even flinch as he slammed his hands on the desk, in an exact mirror of their previous position. No, he seemed pretty content with the lazy spin of his rays.
“ what is it Moony~? You can take a break but I can’t?”
Sun straightened his spine, making him still have to look up. Instead of caging sun in like he wanted to, and as his glare increased sun’s smile only grew. Was this what he had been planning? Had his counterpart tried to think of different ways to rile him up?
He leaned closer as he squinted his eyes. Barely an inch between their faceplates. But Sun kept his faceplate static, not giving anything away except for amusement.
“I should watch you clean more often Moonbeam, Maybe then I understand why you can’t take your gaze off me.”
It looked like Sun was gonna say more, but he covered his faceplate with his own and tugged at the other’s hips. Sun let out a squeak instead. And he slipped a tongue past his partner's surprised open mouth. Hopefully distracting him enough so that he would just forget he could speak with just his voicebox.
Hands quickly warped around his waist, making the large hands almost completely circle the thin frame. And it made his fans make an embarrassing loud sound. Sun let out an interested hum in response
But then with a loud bang, the doors of the daycare flew open.
“Hey! Moonman you ready for patrol my dude!”
The gator stared at both of them, still by the desks warped up in each other. He was pretty sure some fluids that came from Sun’s tongue were dripping over his faceplate.
“Uh…did I interrupt something, what is with the death glares”
Monty asked sheepishly.
“Yes”
Both of them growled. And he quickly spun his head back to face Sun who was still glaring at the gator. Sun was the first to step back if their PDA went on slightly too long. Never shying away from giving and receiving kisses. But it was clear that some parts of their relationship he wanted to keep private.
He didn’t mind, but it made Sun agreeing with him all the more perplexing. Add that to the list of odd things happening today.
Monty huffed angrily before pointing at him
“You said it was fine I would come along, so don’t back out now. I thought you told the kids it aint cool to break promises”
He sighed deeply, finally wiping his mouth with his wrist. He had indeed promised. The gator had wanted to see what his job was like. Arguing that it’s the one job he never got to see. Also, Monty could handle himself if a threat showed up. He hadn’t been too fond of the idea at first.
But the green giant had shown genuine interest. And he eventually relented and promised that he could come along during one of his patrols. Can’t believe he forgot, but Sun could be very distracting. So with a sigh, he said
“I did promise…”
He trailed off as he caught Sun’s expression falling. Still has his lights set to white. He wondered if he wasn’t turning them back to blue on purpose.
He placed a quick kiss on his partner's cheek and whispered a soft apology before stepping back.
“Chin up Sunshine, I’ll be back before you know it”
There was a soft chuckle and even without the lights turned on he could tell his boyfriend rolled his eyes at him.
“Yeah, yeah. Love you Moonbeam, see ya soon. I’ll finish cleaning”
He swiped the almost forgotten walkie-talkie off the desk and passed the gator out the still-open doors
“Let’s go, “
Monty’s tail thumped happily and his heavy footsteps trailed behind him.
“Bye Sunman! Thank you for letting me borrow your boyfriend. See you at games night Friday”
He could hear the chimes from the bells from Sun’s wrist as they were waved out. With an excited shout of.
“Have fun you two!”
“We will, this is gonna be awesome!”
Monty shouted back, and he shook his head with a fond smile.
Once they were out of the daycare area, his eyes flickered to a darker red as he started his security protocol.
“You know…I thought you two would have more unique nicknames for each other”
He stilled and turned his neck 180 degrees to look at the gator, who stumbled back for a second.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
He asked slowly, and the giant crocodile made a swallowing sound
“Just…Sunshine? Moonbeam? Seem pretty standard nicknames. I think most of us even have called you two a variant of those. Dunno you two seem like the type to have a more unique nickname for each other with how you two are always hanging over each other”
He was taken aback by the honest answer. He hadn’t really thought about it much. But now that Monty had brought it up. Well..he was right. He had heard Chica use Sunbeam at least once or twice. And everyone had called Sun, Sunshine at least once.
The girls used Moonpie for him to tease him. And of course Moonman with the gator. Even Moony and Sunny weren’t unique as the kids used those often.
He wrecked his brain but couldn’t find a single one that one of the others hadn’t also called them. Monty must have noticed the shift in his expression
“Shit sorry man, I didn’t mean…Like it’s fine if you two like those nicknames…You don’t have to...And I am sure Sun doesn’t “
It was clear the gator was struggling to find the words, he held up his hand and Monty fell silent
“It's…okay, I know you didn’t mean anything by it….just something to think about I suppose…thank you”
Monty awkwardly scratched the back of his head
“Yeah…no problem Moonman…So where do we go first?”
It was clear Monty wanted to try and steer away from what he had just done. And so he went with it. He pushed the thoughts aside for later. This night was just getting started.
A few hours later. He just stomped through the hallway to their rooms. He had to find Sun and explain all this utter ridiculousness.
He wasn’t in their living space, and he checked their bedroom surprised he wasn’t there either.
“Moon?! That you?!”
The sound came from the daycare still, and he furrowed his brows. What was Sun still doing out on the floor? And he stepped out onto the balcony.
But quickly stepping back as heard the now familiar sounds of springs and his boyfriend landed in front of him. And he reached out to steady him even though it was completely unnecessary
“What happened?”
Sun asked the second he got a look at his face
“Monty happened”
He grumbled as they walked back into the living space of their room. Sun let them over to the couch where he sank into with a large sigh.
“Did he not behave himself during parol? “
Sun asked as he settled beside him. One hand came up to gently rub at his shoulder and arm. Making him relax more.
“Uugh No. It wasn't that. He just managed to send my protocols into a frenzy”
Sun hummed placing a kiss to the side of his head. Protocol going into overdrive was never fun. Everyone knew that, it could leave you exhausted on many levels.
“Didn't you two go over the protocols? He was always listening so intently. I am kinda surprised he would make a mistake like that.”
He sighed deeply tipping his head to the side and dropping it to Sun’s shoulder. Who shifted to wrap his arm around his shoulders, and he fell further into his boyfriend's warm hold.
“It wasn't my security protocols…..it was the naptime protocols he activated”
Suns fans stopped for a second. And beneath him, his lover's chest started moving with suppressed giggles.
“What did he do?”
Sun asked voice filled with curiosity and mirth. He felt some of his servos heating up again as he thought back on it.
“Apparently he decided to join me while being on 17% power. But didn't tell me until he dropped to 12% when I noticed him becoming slower and sluggish “
Sun's free hand came up to his mouth to hide his growing grin.
“Oh…oh no that IS bad. But I feel like it's not the end. Is it Moonbeam”
He sighed dramatically tipping his head back to look up at his boyfriend.
“Of course not. First I just send him to his green room. With firm instructions to stay put”
The shaky laughter beneath him became harse and he felt his foul mood slipping away slowly.
“Let me guess he didn't stay put”
He rolled out of Sun's arm. And started to move his arms around to emphasise the craziness of the next part
“Of course not. First, he decided to follow me. Then tried to hide from me when I noticed and I had to give chase until he nearly fell into one of the ponds at Gator Golf. That I had to drag the struggle idiot all the way back to rockstar row. Where my protocols drove up into an even higher frenzy cause he dropped to 3%”
Sun was laughing unabashedly. Wiping non-existent tears from his eyes
“Oh. Oh please tell me. You had to swaddle him like a burrito to stay put”
He felt a proud grin grow on his face. Struggling with the big gator hadn't been fun at the moment. But the result surely was, and he sent a picture he made through their internal systems to Sun. Who doubled over in laughter once he got it.
It was a good picture. You could still clearly see Monty struggling to get out of the tight blankets. Only able to see his head and one claw in the sea of blankets. And a cord ran back to his wall so he could charge.
“Had to stick Freddy and Bonnie on him to make sure he wouldn't leave again.”
Sun's laughter was finally dying down.
“The group chat is gonna be full of pictures tomorrow morning I bet”
He chuckled as well.
“Most likely”
Sun got up and stretched himself. He followed his partner's movement as he walked through their space
“Well…serves him right for interrupting us“
He felt his cheeks heat slightly. But Sun continued without missing a beat.
“But did something else happen? You seem a bit more out of sorts than just the protocols and Monty acting up”
He chuckled weakly
“Nothing slips past you. Does it Sunshine”
Sun's smile got wider at the praise.
“Nope. So you wanna tell me what's wrong”
He shrugged.
“Nothing wrong Monty just mentioned something as the shift started, and I can't stop thinking about it.”
Sun hummed,
“Still talking around it I see”
He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
“You are one to talk, our internal communication is closed off again”
He informed his partner and Sun who had kept moving around unable to keep still. Seemed to lock up for a brief second. Before turning his body back around to face him with a little too-wide smile
“You got me there Moony”
Both of them stared each other down. For a few seconds. Before Sun raised his hands as if surrendering.
“Well…fair is fair I suppose”
he said with a smile but he noticed a slight Nervous twitch in his hands.
“Remember little Claire? I noticed her sitting alone during playtime today. So I wondered if she was okay. Luckily she had just gotten absorbed into this flower book she had gotten from her grandmother.”
He smiled, knowing the small girl well
“Of course I do, she always wants to look at the pictures of flowers we have in the story books if there are any”
Suns smile grew
“She does! And she wanted to tell me about the latest flower she read before playing. And I realised it sounded very familiar”
Sun's eyes narrowed and suddenly it felt like he was pinned in place.
“H-how so?”
He asked nervously, eyes stuck looking at his partner. Who only smiled wider.
The bells on his boyfriend's wrist made a soft jingle. But it felt incredibly loud.
“Well…This flower is quite sturdy. Seeing it would certainly spark a smile to anyone. “
Sun was stepping closer with every word spoken. The words getting buttery smooth. A tremble went through him, Sun rarely got so intense and he desperately tried to figure out what flower he was being compared to, to warrant such an action.
Moonflower was out, it was quite too delicate. Probably not a rose either.
Another step closer, still keeping up with that warm smile.
“Its seeds can be used for many things. Just like you are more than just a daycare bot. And it's known for following the sun around. Always trying to face it.”
His cheeks were incredibly warm at the small call out. He knew that he always kept looking towards his lover, trying not to let him out of his gaze for too long if they were in the same room. It still was so unreal to him, that he just could do that now, just look over and there he was. No longer confined to his head. The other Glamrocks had teased him about it. But he hadn’t thought Sunny had noticed.
Sun was just a step away. His fans were getting louder. Not knowing what to do is compared to something as soft and approachable as a flower.
He was the scary one, the creepy one. The one that caused all the problems in the past, …not the Pretty approachable one like Sunny.
His mind was quickly Deleting flowers from his list of what it could be. Even if he grew slightly scared of the answer.
Which answer deemed Sun good enough for him? He is t sure he could handle the answer.
Sun's hands placed themselves next to his hips. Caging him in for a second time that day. Voice dropping to a hushed whisper.
“It's also known for being so very tall”
His eyes widened. It could only be one thing. But no…no Sun wouldn't compare him to…
He wouldn't.
His blush was bright enough that it almost reflected of Sun's cheeks as he leaned closer. Their foreheads almost touching.
His boyfriend's smile was fond of a little teasing.
“Yeah…I see you have figured it out.”
He wanted to shake his head but he felt locked in place as a gentle kiss was placed in the middle of his faceplate. As Sun's smile winded.
“Yeah…I quite enjoy having my own beautiful sunflower ”
His fans started blasting at the frenzy that left him in. He had been correct but it still left him utterly unprepared for actually hearing the word pass his lover’s mouth. The pumps in his chest were making worrying clicks with how hard they were going.
He scrambled up and pressed his faceplate against his partners. It wasn't gentle or sweet. Just a mad dash forward to try and expel everything he felt.
Because….that was a nickname used for Sun. He was sure he heard it being used by one of the kids. He had never used it. It was one that he just didn't feel like it fit.
But now Sun was calling him that. Comparing him to something that beautiful. So closely resembling himself. Something delicate and sweet. Yet strong and unyielding in it’s own way
It was doing things to his feelings. As his hands scrambled for purpose against Sun's shoulders, who was trying to steady himself.
Clearly caught off guard by his actions.
Sun pulled back looking at him worringly. And he dipped his head low. So he couldn't see his lover's face feeling embarrassed for reacting like that over some simple teasing nickname.
“Moony?”
He trembled lightly. And he heard a worrying coo. Hands rubbing up and down his arms.
“What’s wrong…Moon? Did I?...” Sun trailed off.
He shook his head. Trying to get his voicebox back under control as it felt filled with static Blinking hard when soft silicone-covered fingers brushed against the bottom of his faceplate gently encouraging him to look back up.
And slowly he did. When he saw his boyfriend's worried gaze all he wanted to do was apologise and make it go away.
Sun’s rays moved slowly…left to right. Then the solar animatronics eyes widened. And he leaned closer and softly. So very softly he whispered.
“You like that….don't you…Sunflower? “
He reached up and tugged his hat over his eyes. But didn't pull away and he could hear
Sun's relieved laugh. He was tugged off the couch into Sun's warm embrace, as they sank to the floor.
“You do!? Oh, Moony! That's so cute!! “
He let out a suffering groan still not looking at his boyfriend. Hiding in the darkness of his hat as he was pulled against his lover's chest.
Several kisses were placed against the side of his faceplate.
“No… no Moony don't hide. You are allowed to like it”
He let out another groan. And Sun chuckled sweetly kissing whatever part of his faceplate he could reach.
Long fingers were running gente patterns across his back making him slowly melt into putty in his arms.
Sun's face nudges against his own right where his audio receivers were.
“My Sunflower “
He let out another suffering sigh and buried his burning face more into his lover's chest. Sun chuckled softly but let him hide. One hand continuing the comforting patterns on his back. While the other gently scratched the back of his faceplate.
They sat like that for a few minutes. Slowly his raging fans slowed down. But it still felt like his blushing feature was turned to its highest setting. And he was desperately searching for the manual controls.
“Hey…Moon?”
He glanced up from where he was hiding but Sun was staring straight ahead looking thoughtfully. He let out a hum to let him know he heard him
“ I was kinda afraid of calling you a silly nickname…but just…it fits you so well. The best I hoped for was maybe a surprised laugh. And a thank you.. so the fact you like it so much.”
Sun slowly turned his head down. The smile on his face was fond and genuine.
“Makes me really happy. “
It felt like he just got shot with electricity in the best kind of way.
“You like just seeing me embarrassed for once”
Two hands grabbed his face and forced him to look up. The grip turned gentle like he was holding something precious
“No, not at all Moon. I like how happy it makes you. Your face has been stuck in this happy smile since I first uttered it”
His eyes flickered and he realised Sun was right. It had been. He went to tug at his hat once more but Sun stopped him. Gently holding his wrist. Bringing his hand over to kiss it gently as if to soothe him.
Fuck he was flustered. Cause even that simple action was making his insides stir like crazy
“If you don't want me to call you tha-”
“No!”
He cut him off. Sun's face went from surprise to a gentle smile as his own mouth shut with a click. Embarrassed by his small outburst.
Sun's thumb started tracing patterns along his cheek.
“Then I won't stop. But if you want it to be more private…no questions asked”
He gave a nod. He wasn't sure if he could handle himself if Sun called him that in front of anyone.
He got a gentle kiss and then. Got pulled into a hug. Two arms warping around his torso as Sun tugged his chin over his shoulder and squeezed him gently
“Thank you, Sunshine”
He muttered still feeling embarrassed of getting so worked up over a silly little nickname.
“No problem. Moonbeam”
He gently warped his own arms around his lover. Holding him gently. As all his systems slowly calmed down. Once it felt like static wasn't running through all his wires he asked softly.
“Have you been planning on trying to find a way to call me his nickname the whole day?”
Sun laughed sounding embarrassed himself.
“Yeah….I really didn't notice I kept shutting our communication off. I swear. I just…I didn't wanna blurt it out at random and make you think I was making fun of you or something”
He gently moved his hands up and down the exposed endo of Sun's back.
“I don't think I would have thought that”
He muttered and Sun let out a little whine
“I just didn't wanna risk it. And then after cleaning, I had such a good set up and then Monty had to come in and ruin it”
If they hadn't been sitting on the floor he is sure Sun would have stomped his foot a little in frustration. Now only his rays made a fast annoyed whirl as he huffed.
He thought back on their little interaction. Remember that he cut Sun off with a kiss at the end. Did he plan on calling him the new name then?
“Kinda glad he did…dunno how I would react if he came in after you would have called me that”
Sun's arms squeezed him gently.
“Yeah….this is much better.”
He laughed in response. Placing a soft kiss against Sun’s shoulder.
“Were you really worried I would react badly”
Sun shifted beneath him, voice dropping to a whisper.
“You don't like it when people underestimate you and treat you as if you're delicate. And I thought that comparing you to a flower…even A strong one..might insult you somehow”
He gently squeezed his boyfriend. Turning his head to kiss one of his rays gently.
“I think if it was anyone else I would hate it. “
He muttered earnestly He let out a large gust of air through his fans. Voice box straining with barely contained static and continued.
“I like it when YOU see me as soft. Especially after everything I did to you with the virus.”
He buried his face further into Sun's shoulder. Who had fallen silent, panic was setting in fearing he said a bit too much. But he kept going.
“I like being your sunflower”
It kinda felt weird to say. But Sun's fans started blasting beneath him and the gentle hold turned crushing. Sun's voicebox let out a sound of overwhelming static. Before a cracking whisper came out
“You are”
The panic fell away with relief. And Sun slowly pulled back to look at him with eyes shining with unshed tears. He gently rubbed at his rays and his boyfriend just laughed helplessly.
Tipping his face plate forward their foreheads brushed gently. As they looked deeply into each other's eyes.
“My Sunflower”
Sun breathed it out. And as his face started to flush once more. He tried to parse through all the layered feelings. But the only way he could return it was to tip his head further up into a soft kiss.
Their eyes held contact for a moment longer before they both closed them. And just enjoyed the soft kiss. Letting time pass by them without a worry. As hands gently pressed them as close as they could get.
After several minutes they pulled apart. And he glanced aside for a second trying to fight to embarrassment trying to claw its way back.
But it was fine. Sun didn't mind his sappier side. He knew that. Still sometimes hard to fight against it.
“So you gonna tell me, what Monty said that had you so out of sorts,”
Sun asked, clearly trying to give him a way out. So his overheating servos could cool down a little. He couldn't help but laugh.
Sun looked surprised and he couldn't blame him. And he could feel his own grin settle on his faceplate
“He mentioned he was surprised that we didn't really have unique nicknames for each other. And while it didn't bother me at first. It just kinda stuck with me. Cause you’re special to me…and I wanted to call you a name that reflects that And for you to do the same in return. But now”
He indicated his hand around and Sun started laughing softly.
“Okay….that's funny timing-wise. “
He chuckled again. Gently kissed his partner’s nose just because he could.
“It is.”
They locked eyes again, and his voice dropped to a whisper.
“Now I just have to find a name for you, that makes you feel even half of the things. This new one does for me. “Sun's cheeks dusted a soft pink.
“I’ll look forward to what you'll come up with “
His finger trailed soft patterns across the back of Sun’s rays.
“Mmm don't think Moonflower would work. Don't wanna copy you anyway. Feels cheap”
Sun’s cheeks darkened further. But was clearly more amused than overwhelmed.
“You are gonna throw all the nicknames at me now? Aren't you?”
He winked at his partner.
“Honey, you know I am”
Sun barked out a single laugh. Rolling his eyes.
“If you think you’ll find one like that. I won't stop you Moonbeam. “
It was clear Sun thought it wouldn't work and honestly he didn't think so either. But the teasing would be fun.
“Now…Sunflower”
And just. like that he was blushing again and paying full attention to his boyfriend.
“I think I promised you a show…let's get to it”
So I finished Ruin and. . . Hoh boy.
Per usual, everything will be below the cut (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS)
The dlc was short but it was super immersive! I was at the point where I was easily losing track of time because I was so lost in the scenery but, we're gonna go in order here of everything that happened!
First, the walkie talkies!! They're so cute, and I love how each one is related to an animatronic (or at least two of them with the Roxy Walky and the Freddy Walky)
Next, the Faz-wrench was such a neat little addition to the mechanics. It gave Cassie her own thing compared to Gregory and it tied into her background of her father being a technician. Plus, the mini game associated with it was super soothing to me for some reason!
The VANNI system and mask was also a SUPER neat touch. It felt like playing Help Wanted with the AR and electronic aspect. I loved how you had little tasks to complete to "breach the security" of each little area which ended in the Parent Node having its own little puzzle to solve in order to full breach it. Not to mention the goddamn Entity who stalked you in the AR world
A little sus that the mask was tied to Vanny, which makes me wonder if the game in Help Wanted was VR but instead of like an occulus or whatever, the item you needed to use was the VANNI mask. It would make sense considering the mask was one of the items you got in Help Wanted and it was the game that "made" Vanny herself
I wish the mask was explained more but I still understood why they didnt focus too hard on it. Maybe in the next DLC/game we'll get an explanation
The Daycare scene was just as jarring as the original game! I both hated and loved it! I did find it super interesting how this time instead of trying to turn on the generators to stop Moon, you needed to turn them on to save Sun.
When Cassie used the Faz-wrench to "create" Eclipse I was pretty flabbergasted! there was a setting, apparently, at all times to combine Sun and Moon to create what looked to be the perfect Daycare Attendant. Which confused me as to why Fazbear Entertainment would risk ever letting Moon out if they could have just gotten rid of him completely?
And it was apparent that Sun and Moon were both suffering, but Sun was more so since he seems to be the dominant personality. The way he begs for help and even thanks Cassie as she leaves is tell-tale that he was having a horrible time being alone and trapped within his own mind.
Oh well, Eclipse is my baby and Kellen's soft voice for him was wonderful!
The part with the walking Endos was awful! Just like in the original game! I'm not even gonna bother posting screenshots of them! I hated them!
The nod to the Freddy and Friends TV show was super cute, I loved it!
Monty's backstory in the Monty Golf was an eye opener as well. You see Monty's roots in the first scene as a One Man Band, playing in his swamp/bayou to whomever will listen.
In the second scene you can see his admiration towards the original band of Freddy, Chica, Roxy, and Bonnie. Notably, Monty and Bonnie seem to be looking at each other, which makes me feel like Monty was more so admiring Bonnie rather than the entire band or even Freddy. Freddy is also completely darkened/outside of the light. Which matches what we know about Monty and his inferiority complex towards Freddy and his fame as the face of FazEnt and the Pizzaplex.
In the next scene, you see Bonnie (partially cut off) giving his guitar to Monty, a passing of the torch. The final scene is Roxy "glamming" Monty up for his spot on the band
Now, this all sorta flips what we know about Monty and Bonnie's relationship on its head. In the prior game it's hinted that Monty might have shattered Bonnie in order to take his spot because he was jealous of him or hated him or whatever but. . .If that were the case, why would Monty use Bonnie's bass and wear his glasses? If he hated the guy so much, why use his items and therefor constantly be reminded of him? And why would his attraction in Monty Golf revolve around his admiration for Bonnie if the feelings he had for him were the complete opposite?
I think Monty and Bonnie were fine with each other, or at least friendly in a mentor/student way, and Bonnie being shattered was either something William/Glitchtrap/Burntrap and Vannie facilitated or could have been something where Bonnie fell from the catwalk above Monty Golf and got shattered that way.
Monty seems to hate Freddy more than anything or anyone else, judging by the decapitated Freddy statues in Monty Golf and his cutout being blacked out. and it would fit with that one ending where Freddy ran away and Monty took his place. Idk man, my brain was SWIRLING over this
Plus that whole scene/puzzle in Monty Golf catwalk was both annoying and fun with the blasters. Hate/loved it!
The addition of the jammers was a neat little touch too. It made the game more difficult while also giving you a reason to actually perceive the Entity as a threat (since sometimes the jammers locked you in the AR mode, which is the only way the Entity can catch you)
C....chowda....
Is it Chicken chowder? Seafood? it's even served in a bread bowl and I....I love breadbowls....so much.....
Poor Roxy, man.... She can't see anymore, but she still sits in front of the broken mirror in her Salon and berates herself.....
They're echoing each other.....
This is pretty heartbreaking.
Here's Cassie, presumably on a birthday or some outting to the Pizzaplex, spending time with her favorite animatronic and getting dolled up to look like her, only to end up sobbing all alone and ruining her makeup. And then here's Gregory to comfort her, implying this might've been when they first became friends.
And it explains why Cassie cares so much about him. Gregory helped her when she needed it, and now she's here to do the same
Every single part with Monty in the water was anxiety inducing and I hated it!
Oh. . .what cruel irony. . .
The one to decommission Monty was a neon sign of Bonnie, who was (presumably) either shattered by Monty or because of Monty, and was Monty's biggest inspiration and the object of his adoration. . .
Owch. . .
I was not expecting this fucking go-kart to kill if it hit you so imagine my surprise when I see this cutscene and my brain hasn't registered my flight response so I end up getting knocked out of my fucking sketchers by some kart going 30 on a small stretch of asphalt.
Walkie Talkie
It’s Wednesday evening, about an hour of sun left, and I’m walking down to the old penthouse in Flatbush to retrieve my new apartment keys. It’s moments like these — walking, doing dishes, a 30 min break between meetings — that I’d call my Dad.
I can hear his excitement picking up the phone: Connor boy! We’d start with the weather. It’s a beautiful day here, I’d say. One of those days where the weather can’t quite decide what it wants to be, flitting between big blue sun and sudden gray with spastic rain.
I’d tell him I’ve been running more and that I think I’m gonna sign up for a marathon near Albany with the goal of qualifying for Boston. It’s a friendly qualifier, according to Google, and we have some friends nearby we could stay with. I’d tell him I saw Chris Hayes on my lunch run — he was walking his dog in his PJs on a work cal. I knew it was a work call because I knew when his editorial team met to discuss the evening lineup. And that’s not all. This was actually my second sighting of Hayes. The first being at a bar in Gowanus before I really worked in media. How rare to encounter the same celeb twice in the New York wilderness?
I’d tell him about bowling, though surely he would’ve called the following day to hear how we did in the playoffs. I’d regret to inform him we lost in the first round to a team of toxic old creepers. But I bowled well -- a 146 in the first game and then a 170 to close the season. I’d promise to send him the article about a Dallas bowler’s near-900 game, an almost unheard of string of three consecutive perfect games. In other words, 36 strikes in a row. A turkey to end all turkeys. The seventh extinction.
He’d probably feed me some essay idea and remind me how much he loves my writing and remind me I got my work ethic from Mom.
I’d tell him I won a hail mary bet, how it was a must-win otherwise I would’ve depleted all my FanDuel dollars, after which I promised to stop betting like I had been every week for the last two months and he’d say Oh yeahhh like the Kool Aid man (kool aid btw was invented in Nebraska). We both bet on Denver to repeat as champions so we’d prematurely discuss their first playoff game and what it portends for June.
I’d tell him no I haven’t spoken to Ethan recently but we both love you deeply.
Dad would hem and haw when asked what’s new with him. There never was much. Life was filtered through TV, current events, books, visitors and his window overlooking the parking lot with an American flag planted center stage. One of the nurses told me he offered up his grandpas flag honoring his WWII service to replace their tattered flag.
He’d surely ask what I was reading. New York 2140. I borrowed it from you. It was perfect you had it, because that’s exactly what I wanted to read after Vinson Cunningham’s debut novel Great Expectations. I read it flying into New York and saw how vulnerable the city was to a rising sea-levels. We landed in LaGuardia, which has its ass hanging out on the water. Tunneling through the East River to Manhattan I saw the ancient screws coated in dust holding the center fast against past and future.
It was a very New York book, too, with some interesting finance elements (liquidity, stoking then shorting the bubble, Ben Bernanke’s heroic levers). One of the main characters was a super, another was a degen finance bro. It indulged in geographic specificity, from street names to developed marshes, making several detours down local cul de sacs into forgotten pockets of history and waxing poetic about that famous New York energy.
It flagged a little 400 pages in, but the animating premise -- a resilient New York that adapted to a 50-foot surge in sea levels after the ice shelf collapsed -- was endlessly fascinating. Downtown was “intertidal” with skyscrapers partly submerged in water at high tide, while sky bridges criss-crossed overhead, and cloud communities circled above superscrapers hundreds of stories high. The author imagineered a SuperVenice and it was a beautiful triumph against the odds. You would like the cloud influencer who shepherded animals at risk in her blimp-ark.
He’d tell me about an interesting book review he read in the Washington Post and the book that would soon be delivered and of course the many others he had his eye on. You have plenty of reading material already. Read what you have! I’d normally say shaking my head. But this time I’d say those all sound great and I promise to take good care of them. I’ll read them all with you.
Inevitably we’d both get quiet. I was always perplexed why Dad got anxious during any conversation lull, but he did and would proceed to wrap things up. I took advantage of this sometime. But not today. Today I’d say don’t go, the words will come, just stay on the line.
Then you see a shadow of someone behind you. You turn with a swift motion and you push the person behind you on the ground but you slipped and fell on top of them and you realized it's eddie "Eddie where have you been?" "Oh sorry sweetheart i walked down to the lake to wash my hair then i heard you calling for me so i ran back up" You notice eddie blushing probably because your on top of him "Its ok edds i just was worried" you stood up off of him and offered your hand to help him back up but he sat up looked you with his dark brown eyes. His damp curls shining in the light. He flashed a mischievous grin and he pulled you onto his lap by your hand you offered. "E-eddie?" "Sorry i just really like you on my lap" Your face turned cherry red from his words and actions. Your heart pounding loud and fast like it was going to explode. His eyes wandered to your lips then back to your eyes…
Nancy Robin Steve Dustin and max pov They decided it was to late to drive across the lake so they slept in the shed since it was a hour drive to the other side But then it was morning so they headed out " what if there not even at skull rock dustin" "trust me steve they're just keep driving" an hour passed and they were at the other side at the bottom of the hill you and eddie walked up they got out of the car and saw Eddie's shoe prints in the sand but no eddie " shoe prints aha told you steve" "Knuckle heads stop bickering and lets go theres no time to waste" said max So they walked up to skull rock.
Back to you and eddie His eyes wandered to your lips then back to your eyes and you heard foot steps up the hill and a voice of Dustin. You jumped off Eddie's lap and you yelled "dustin" "Y/n?". They had made it to the top. eddie didn't stand fully he just crouched. "Guys what happened? said robin" "Me and y/n were waiting for you guys to come back then jason and two of his friends showed up and they found us so we ran…. we used the boat to make a getaway and… jasons freind. Well the same thing happened to chrissy" "wait what happened to her.? Nancy asked" " first she was frozen then she lifted off the ground and then her bones snapped and he eyes exploded" Eddie almost in tears just thinking about it " that sounds familiar almost exactly the same as. Victor creels statement" "who's victor creel? Robin asked" " i dont remember all the details but some the library we could get some information on him at the library! And since im a reporter it wont look off…" "OK everyone but eddie and y/n is going to the library" "ok steves right but here you guys can have my walkie-talkie to communicate if your in danger we will talk to you on robins walkie" "thanks dustin" Eddie and Dustin hug then they all headed to the library. "Eddie are you okay?" You asked. seeing that he was on edge. "Well i guess if being the town freak getting accused of murder even though you watched her get murdered. The whole town hating you is okay then i-im okay "
"Eddie i promise we will win this.. we will win" "Okay we will " . You are sitting on the grass when you see eddie climbing up skull rock "Eddie what are you doing" "just come up here sweetheart"
You climb up skull rock it actually looks harder than it is while eddie is waiting at the top "hey come look y/n" You look and you see the lake shining in the sun the clouds look soft. "Wow what a view" Eddie sitting next to you his brown eyes watching the view that you were looking at "So the water this morning was pretty warm y/n do you see that?" He points to your left "see what edds ?" "Hm look closely try squinting your eyes" you look closely and nothing " i-i dont see anything eddie." You turn to look at him "Eddie?!" He's gone "hey princess bet i can beat you to the water" He said from the bottom of skull rock "No fair! " You rush down skull rock then you rush down the hill its much easier going down a hill than up You reached the bottom and there he is standing his boyish grin on his face then he took his shirt off throwing it farther on shore so the waves won't take it then his pants leaving him in his black boxers "Enjoying the view ?"
Before I can talk about anything else I have to talk about how freaking cold it is. I'm just leaving ceramics now and I didn't bring my jacket inside and it just cold. I'm going to have to bring up my hat gloves and stuff tomorrow because this is almost unbearable. Honestly it was a very cold today so I don't know why I'm surprised but I am frozen.
Today was okay though. It wasn't as stressful as some of my Native American field trips are. It was just still a lot. I woke up this morning and the sun was not up yet so I was very confused. I hate waking up in the dark. And like I'll get used to it it's fine and daylight savings is next weekend but also terrible.
I got up though and I got dressed and things were going pretty good. James had packed me a breakfast and a lunch and they were being very sweet. And I felt all right. I'm not feeling as good right now but I was doing pretty good this morning.
I left for work on time. And I got to camp without much issue. It was nice watching the sunrise if nothing else. The sky was very pink and beautiful. And I got to camp at 8:00.
I did realize as soon as I got in the car that I had left my office keys on the desk and could not get into the office. Which is a problem because I get there an hour before everyone else and I need walkie talkies and schedules and other things for my program. So I do not have access to these things. I decided I would do everything else that I could possibly do before I texted someone for help. I went to the lodge and I set things up there and I made sure that the tables were the way that I wanted them. I got the Pueblo and the Hogan setup and oxenboe where everything was the way it should be. I got the heat turned on in both buildings and I went down to the bears to put the bus sign that I always forget about. I was doing great but it was barely 8:30.
I decided to park my car over by the lodge so that parents could visually understand where to park. This worked out very well. I was part of my car as two parents showed up. About 45 minutes early. Which was fine. We had an overabundance of parents today. Four five, some even had six at each station. We were lousy with them. But they were all wonderful and so prepared and they would slowly trickle in and I would walk them to their areas as needed. And once the big group was there of parents I decided to take them all as a group to give them kind of a tour of each site so that they would all understand what they were going to be teaching and what everyone else was teaching. And I was able to stop at the office where Elizabeth had graciously printed my maps and schedules and got all of the walkie talkies..
The kids were supposed to arrive at 10:00 and they did come a few minutes late but it didn't matter. I don't know why I never considered how old these kids were. I think I had just assumed they were fourth grade because that's the normal age of this field trip and Elizabeth didn't say anything so I just had made I guess. And then one of the dads had said that his daughter came to camp for an overnight last year and stayed in silver City so I was like oh cool she's like seven or eight so that's how old the kids are. No. These were preschoolers. They were five. They were shockingly tiny.
But they were awesome. Once they got inside I was able to get them quiet and we did the PowerPoint and the journals and then we did brush making. And it was chaos. But I think everyone had a really good time. And I had a good time. Things were going great.
Once they were done their brushes I cleaned up all the tables and sent them off on their way. All the parents really had an under control so I was not that worried. So I would spend a few minutes getting some stuff together for James.
I use my laptop and was able to get my w-2s and my bank information and paperwork that we would need for a mortgage. Which is crazy. And mine are very bizarre because I've had so many weird jobs over the last couple years so just using the YMCA and the BMI it doesn't really look like I make much money. But I'm hoping with James is consistency and our down payment and all of those things that it will be fine and it'll work out.
But I felt good telling James all of my fears about it. They had a meeting on the phone with the financial guy at 2:00 and he would tell us more of the things that we would need and need to know. And then we see if we move forward with this house.
during the second half hour program I bopped around to make sure everyone was okay. But I kept poking in and everything seemed fine so nobody really needed me. Kept making circles. I would find some interesting things as I was walking around though.
While I was waiting for the parents this morning when I couldn't get into the office I did finally remember to get a shovel to dig out some of the ash in the fire pit inside the Hogan. And while I was in there shoveling away, very hard by the way, there was a toad! He was just on my shovel all of a sudden and he was huge. I'm assuming he was hibernating and I bothered him. And I feel very bad about that but I would have felt worse if I cut him in half. So I took him and I put him in my pocket and I carried him around and put him in a box. And when the kids were there I walked him around so that all of them could see him and once they were off on their programs I would return him to nature.
I am slightly concerned about him though because it's so cold I was worried about him getting somewhere cozy where he can hibernate it but Celia thinks that he will be fine and figure it out so I put him close to where I found him but not in the fire patch. I put him out in the woods and I hope that he is okay because he was just so cute.
The group ordered pizza and they were gracious enough to share it with me and their bus drivers. And I had given them like 45 minutes for lunch because normally the 25 is not enough time. And I thought that maybe they would play a game or something but they ended up finishing with an extra 15 minutes and asked if we could ship to the schedule and I said that was totally fine so at 12:50 we got them back out and doing their programs. And that actually allowed them to get on the bus a little quicker. They were still not on the bus at the other day until 2:15 but it could have been worse.
While the kids were doing their programs and I didn't have anything else to do I went to the office to get a drink and told everyone about our house visit and Sarah was kind enough to hold up a laptop and change the slide so that I could explain the layout of the very strange house and everything that's going on. It is funny hearing everyone's opinions on how you should handle getting a house. Specifically things like letters to the owner. Which I heard you should have do and it's not the thing that people do anymore because it can leave the housing discrimination but apparently both Alexi and Heather did it when they bought their last houses and I think it's just kind of by location and by community style I guess? Regardless I wrote one but it feels very hokey and will probably not use it for anything. We'll ask the realtor if it's something that is done in that area.
Once the kids were done the last program I thanked the parents on the walkie talkies and ask them to put all of their stuff in the bins and then they came and I said goodbye to the children and have the kids say thank you to all the parents again. And then they were off. I think the teachers were very worried about the space being so messy and me being the only one cleaning it but Sarah was going to come over anyway and they had gotten basically all their trash so I wasn't that concerned.
Plus we have a group tomorrow that's about the same size so we don't really have to put anything away We just have to wipe all the tables down sweep and take the trash out. We had some contention on if pizza boxes are recyclable but apparently as of this summer they are so we were able to recycle all of their pizza boxes and Sarah wipe down all the tables while I swept and she is just a rockstar helping me out and making sure that things are done.
Once we are all cleaned up I got my car and started driving around picking up materials. I decided that some things are just going to live in the spots they are because they're in boxes and it doesn't matter. And then three once I was back at the yard building and the boxes for fibers are all set up and ready to be reset I decided I was going to set my hammock for a half an hour. My body hurt real bad for all the walking and my chest feels a congested again and that is not ideal I don't have time to be sick. Taking one day off was bad enough.
I would head back down to the office around 3:30 and I spent the next 2 hours working on computer stuff my lesson plans I watched some videos while I typed. Started working on some research about natural dyes in the area. I had found a gigantic shaggy black pink mushroom and I'm trying to process the mushrooms that I've been finding into ink. So far the three I found yesterday have already started to melt and hopefully this big one will help me even more. I'm hoping that I can find like a few more but they're kind of rare even though they are available in this area. And one of the problems with them is that they do completely melt away. So it's hard to find them. I think they're very neat.
I also would be part of a discussion with Heather and Alexi about the FOP group. Friends of puhtok. They are basically all old guys now and they're trying to figure out how to get the young people to come in. What would bring people our age to camp to do volunteer work. It means there are both agreement that it's food. So I started writing out some ideas for what a day for volunteers would look like to help make camp nice. And then we talked about social media problems and indigenous peoples month and how we can say and put out things about current indigenous people and what they're doing and support them in different ways. Like a highlight. And we had a nice discussion about how sometimes it's better to say nothing but also sometimes saying nothing is worse. It's all learning and I think that that's important.
I did stay really late today. Stay until almost 5:30. But that was because I had my ceramics class and I had had my lunch at like 3:30 so I was not hungry and did not really want to go anywhere. So I stayed and hung out and then once alexian Heather were on their way out I decided I would just go to the ceramics class early.
And that's exactly what I did. I got there a little after 5:30 and I beat Lindsay. But she came soon after me and I spent that half hour trimming and just chatting with her about stuff and it was really nice.
We would have a really good class honestly. Everybody came and we had lots of good discussions and conversations and we talked about our cats at Halloween and we showed up our costumes and the older woman in the group brought us all candy and it was really sweet. But I had more trouble today making anything. After I trimmed all of my stuff from last week I finally, finally, have things on the shelf to be fired. So hopefully next week I'll have a couple the square pieces that I can glaze. And then I was like okay I'm going to try to make something big and so I cut 3 and 1/2 lb of clay and I tried and it just wasn't happening. Lindsay wants me to try to center with my left arm instead of my right and I just don't have control from that direction. So I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm struggling with centering a little bit still more than I thought I was. So I was also just struggling to throw anything because I was trying to get back to basic just get it on the wheel strength. I would make a couple things. But eventually I got to the end of my bag of flight. That didn't mean that I don't have any clay it's just that all of my clay was in my second bag which was too bad or too dry or just scraps. So then I would spend some time wedging it and making some balls so that next week I just have those ready to go. And it was nice to just kind of work with the clay and not really have a direction.
I took one of the balls though and spent the last hour making little figures. I made some cats and some bears and some frogs. I think they'll be fun just to glaze and have just cute little guys. I'm not that worried about it but I would like next week to try to throw something that is more cup-like rather than bowl like. We'll see.
I decided that since I got to class early I would leave early. I kind of wanted to just go home. And now I'm out. I am about halfway back. I'll be there in 20 minutes. I'm excited to take a shower and wash my hair which I definitely got clay in. And then hopefully just get a good night's rest. We have preschoolers again tomorrow. Which is going to be great. It's going to be very different from today. And I just hope that I feel all right.
I hope you guys all are having a good night. I hope you're staying safe. Please wash your hands and take care of yourselves. Good night.
“...Are they gone?”
A soft question echoed from the party room as Freddy and the others approached, barely perceptible even to animatronic ears. Leon was peeking through the window, still not willing to open the door until he got confirmation those attendants weren’t about to come running for him.
“I shoved you-know-who in the corner out of sight,” he mumbled, gaze darting around to see if there were any tall shapes looming over Freddy, Chica, and Gregory.
“Not to worry, it is just us; Sun and Moon are back in the play area,” Freddy reassured, smiling apologetically through the glass. “Leon, I am so sorry for all of that… I told them many times to control themselves if they came across her, but they simply lost it. Are you alright?”
“Oh, uh—I'm fine, just gonna have some major nightmares later,” Leon responded with a dull, humorless chuckle. His eyes drifted to Chica, then back to Freddy. “…If she’s cool, I’ll open the door.”
“Ah—I believe it best for you and Gregory to remain outside, just in case,” Freddy suggested with a tilt of his head. “Is that alright, Chica?”
“Mm-hmm,” the bird confirmed amiably, bouncing the boy in her arms. “I'll keep an eye on Gregory, don't worry!"
Leon nodded, then punched in the code to unlock the door and allowed Freddy to slip inside. After relocking the door for good measure, Leon lifted his walkie and clicked onto the channel he shared with Thomas.
“The area’s cleared; creepy attendants are back downstairs, and Chica’s got Gregory,” he told his coworker, then released the button. Sinking heavily into the nearest chair, Leon massaged the bridge of his nose. “So... what's the updated plan?”
“Well—” Freddy began, but was cut off by Leon’s walkie crackling to life.
“Cool; like I told you a few minutes ago I’m not going near that fucking daycare again for like the next hundred years, okay?!” Thomas responded, voice muffled but completely understandable. He clearly didn’t realize there were others in the room with Leon. There was a pause, and then he added: “…I’ll help you move her, but I’m staying right fucking here until you absolutely have to, okay?! And also—”
“Thomas, do not worry—I will take care of things for now,” Freddy piped up, hoping he got the hint.
There was another pause, and then Thomas said in a completely exhausted tone: “…Gregory’s right there, isn’t he? Aw, shi—”
The walkie-talkie clicked off.
“You’re an idiot; I’ll update you when we’ve got things firmed up,” Leon replied with a roll of his eyes, watching through the window as Chica set Gregory down and quickly covered his ears. Hooking the walkie back onto his belt, the guard looked to Freddy again. “Remember how we said we’d try to dig up some history on Fazbear Entertainment? Earlier today I found a few video clips of William Afton. They're old and kinda grainy, but I’ve got them pulled up if you want to show Vanessa before we try and move her again.”
Leon huffed, running a hand through his hair as he glanced towards Chica out the window. “Maybe we’ll get some info out of this before they potentially go psycho again...”
“Yes, that may be a good idea,” Freddy mused, also sparing a glance towards the pair outside. Based on the rapt attention from Chica and Gregory, it was clear they could both hear what was being discussed. Freddy let out an uncertain hum. “Perhaps we should keep Vanessa out of their field of view, just in case.”
Gregory’s personal trauma with the woman notwithstanding, Freddy really wanted to trust Chica and he knew she was the calmest out of all of them when it came to stressful situations like these. But just based on the others’ reactions tonight seeing Vanessa across the room, he couldn’t help but be nervous about what would happen when Chica got a full, close-up view of the child murderer even through glass.
“We’ll go hang out in another party room,” the bird offered, checking with Gregory to make sure that was alright. Gregory nodded, giving Freddy and Leon a wave before Chica carted him off.
Freddy stared at the door for a moment after they left. The fact that Chica understood her limits was proof enough that she certainly was a trustworthy friend. Freddy was glad that Gregory had so many animatronics to care for him, but he appreciated Chica’s kindness even more than she probably realized.
Finally, he cast his gaze towards a back corner of the room. Were her chest not rising and falling, it might be easy to confuse Vanessa for a lifelike doll with how still she was otherwise. Her head hung down, staring at her lap. Whether she was trying to process nearly getting her face chomped by an alligator or simply lamenting the whole situation, Freddy didn’t know and didn’t care.
“Alright, come on,” Leon said, pulling her Vanessa up by the arm until she was on her feet. Still keeping a tight hold, he dragged over an extra chair with his free hand and placed it behind. “Sit.”
Vanessa sighed as she was hefted to her feet, taking a seat in the chair and leaning back. The entire situation honestly frightened her to the bone. She'd never seen the animatronics so... angry. At least, not in any context she could clearly remember. Flashes of gnashing teeth and sharp claws came through, but nothing concrete.
Leon had brought up a clip on his phone, pulling over his own chair to sit beside Vanessa and Freddy. With the bear standing behind her, Leon had his own personal security bot should she decide to try anything. Though honestly, at this point Leon was pretty convinced Vanessa was too exhausted and broken down to consider fighting back.
“So, this was a commercial William starred in for the opening of the very first pizzeria,” Leon explained, pointing at a man standing still on the screen. “I think his family makes a cameo in it, too.”
Freddy stared hard at the picture, honestly surprised that William looked so… normal. Thin-faced, short brown hair, a charismatic smile—he seemed like just a regular, unassuming guy at face value.
Although, as Freddy looked a bit closer he swore there was a strange gleam in the man’s eye—something evil lurking within his soul even back then, before his life fell to pieces.
“Can you play the commercial?” Freddy asked. “I would like to see William’s family, and I think his voice will trigger Vanessa’s memories more than his picture. Perhaps she can give us more insight as to what happened to her.” Freddy glanced at her briefly before looking back at the phone.
Leon nodded and pressed play. They were met with William Afton giving a tour of the original pizzeria, spouting cheesy lines most would find in an old fast food commercial in a very pronounced British accent. While his appearance only prompted a dull-eyed stare from Vanessa, a sharp gasp escaped her throat upon hearing his voice.
At one point, the commercial showed William’s family seated around a table in the restaurant, the kids chattering happily as their mom passed out pizza with a smile. William was at the head of the table, and on one side sat his eldest son next to his sister, who giggled as her brother told her a joke. Across the table from them was their mother, and—
“Gregory?!” Freddy gasped, eyes widening as he looked at a boy who was nearly a carbon-copy of the child he called his son, except for being a year or two younger. Freddy shook his head, murmuring quietly: “No, no… that is surely Evan Afton.” He glanced at Leon with a grimace. “Vanessa’s claims about why William wanted Gregory specifically have some merit, it seems.”
Vanessa blinked repeatedly, vision locked onto the tiny phone screen. A significant chunk of memories were returning to her in rapid-fire succession, and they were too disturbing to focus on for long.
Clearing his throat, Leon slowly looked up at Freddy with a grimace. “Yeah, that… that looks a lot like Gregory.”
“There is something we must be missing—some connection or relation between these two,” Freddy murmured slowly, shaking his head. As the commercial came to a close, he looked at Vanessa and noticed how strange she was acting. He bent down to be at her eye level, asking: “Vanessa, do you remember anything?!”
“A lot, actually...” she murmured, letting out a quiet sigh. “Just—bear with me, okay? It’s not easy to… to remember all this shit.”
She winced, as if to demonstrate. Freddy narrowed his eyes but remained silent, waiting for her to go on.
“William, uh… Originally, he wanted me to do the same thing to Gregory as I did to the others, but… But then he got a look at him, and told me to bring Gregory’s spirit to him instead of putting him in an endoskeleton. He… planned to take another life the next day to use in place of Gregory’s, b-but you two already stopped him before he could follow through.” Vanessa’s breathing was shaky, rife with emotion she was trying her damndest to contain. She could breakdown later when it was just her and the guards—showing weakness in front of a pissed-off robot bear was something she wasn’t willing to do.
Not after what happened the last time she allowed her vulnerability to be taken advantage of. So, she pressed on.
“I think he knew Gregory wasn't his son, although you can clearly see why he’d want to use him as a physical dupe.” Vanessa let out a bitter laugh. “He wanted a mind that wasn’t knowledgeable of the horrors he committed. Apparently all of William’s children despise him and want him to suffer.”
Freddy remained silent as she spoke, and for a long while after that.
So Gregory was never intended to be bonded to an endoskeleton… but his planned fate of being William Afton’s “replacement child” was arguably worse.
“Oh, Gregory…,” Freddy said quietly, wanting nothing more than to pull the boy into his arms and hold him as tightly as he could. Thank goodness Gregory found Freddy when he did. The animatronic’s eyes hardened as he muttered harshly: “It is no surprise his children hate him—wait.” He looked at Vanessa again, eyes wide. “You speak of his children in the present tense—are they still here, too? As… as spirits like Gregory?”
Freddy found this hard to believe—he was definitely missing some crucial pieces to this puzzle. But… he supposed anything was possible, especially when William Afton was involved.
Vanessa frowned, giving a half-hearted shrug.
“I… I don’t know. Maybe? I can’t—” She shook her head sharply, trying desperately to remember. “I know they’re not gone—they’re all dead, but never moved on. William was very adamant about that.”
“…I wonder if Gregory and I may have encountered them,” Freddy said, meeting Vanessa’s confused gaze. “That night we escaped William’s clutches, as we were climbing out of the basement something saved us. A mass of wires and parts that allowed us to escape—Gregory believes there are spirits trapped in there, and we also think that is the only reason William is still trapped down there right now.”
Freddy’s gaze shifted to Leon. “If they are also stuck within animatronics, then this is much bigger than we originally believed…”
Leon thought to himself, tapping his foot idly. “Well, whoever it is… do you think they're possibly under the same ritual as the endo kids?”
Vanessa gave another shake of her head, brow pinched in thought. “Again, not one hundred percent clear on all the details, but I do remember one thing William drilled into my brain: he told me he needed the energy from ten souls to free him from the confinements. He said only then would he have the strength to escape. But I… I also know this—”
She lifted her head, looking at Freddy and Leon seriously. “—those souls keeping him trapped cannot be freed under any circumstances. If they're let out of those animatronics, they'll also unintentionally release William regardless of whether he’s strong enough to do it on his own.” She winced, glancing to the floor. “I don't think they're all that nice either, but who would be after being trapped down there for god knows how long—though that could also just be his view on the matter.”
“This is horrible,” Freddy said quietly. “If out theory is correct, these may also be children at their cores. They do not deserve to be tasked with keeping their own murderer confined for all eternity…”
He sighed, hanging his head. “But Vanessa unfortunately has a point… until we can find an alternate solution for William’s confinement—or permanent eradication, if we are lucky—we must leave them be for now so we do not risk his escape.”
“...I don't know if messing with them at all would be a good idea,” Leon chimed in, rubbing at his arms as if to stave off a chill he’d gotten from merely speaking about ghosts. “Ugh, I just want to get rid of this bastard and be done with this.”
Vanessa cleared her throat, frowning softly. “If you have any other questions, I promise I’ll continue answering everything I know. He didn’t tell me much about the souls holding him back, but other memories might come through over time.”
“Thank you, Vanessa; you have been… surprisingly helpful,” Freddy said, finally standing to his full height. “For now, we should focus on helping the children we know we can save. Leon, can you please show her a picture of Lily and Ivy? We will look for their items first.”
Leon nodded and pulled up another tab with photos of all the missing children. He angled the phone towards Vanessa, and knowing the drill by now she lifted her head without prompting. There was a split-second of blankness before Vanessa immediately grimaced, realization making her gasp and turn away.
“Ugh... No—no,” she muttered, taking a few deep breaths. “There are, uh... t-two matching ribbons shoved in a hidden rock crevice in Roxy's Raceway.” She swallowed thickly. “One for each.”
“Noted; I will find them now,” Freddy said succinctly. He moved to the door, pausing to glance back at Leon with his hand on the doorknob. “Will you be alright on your own for a bit? I have a feeling Thomas needs a little more time to recover…”
“Yeah, I'll be okay now that you calmed down the firing squad. Don't know why he needs to recover when they were running at me,” Leon grumbled, though his annoyance wasn't anything new. “I'll walkie Thomas if I need any help.”
“Alright; I will be back soon,” Freddy said, giving a final nod before unlocking the door and stepping out into the hallway. He waited until he heard the locks click back into place before heading over to Chica and Gregory, a smile lighting up his face at the sight of them.
“Hello you two; I am sorry that took so long,” he apologized, holding out his arms for his son. “We learned a lot more information than originally intended, but I know where to find the twins’ items: Roxy Raceway.”
Gregory immediately squirmed in Chica's arms upon seeing Freddy holding his arms out. Chica gladly returned the boy to his father, watching Gregory comfortably curl up in Freddy's arms.
“Don't apologize, Fredbear; you know I don’t mind babysitting. So you learned some more stuff?” Chica asked curiously, beginning to make her way towards the direction of Roxy's Raceway.
“Quite a bit,” Freddy replied with a grimace. “Most of which I feel it best to tell everyone as a group. Ah, but first… Gregory, I must ask—” He looked down at his son, knowing this question was a long shot but feeling it wouldn’t hurt to try. “—are you sure you have never heard of Evan Afton before? Or possibly Michael or Elizabeth?”
Gregory met Freddy’s gaze, thinking to himself for a moment before lightly shaking his head. “Nope! Only that one time Leon told us about how a kid named Evan died on his birthday.” A frown pinched his brow. “Why?”
“I will tell you later,” Freddy responded with a sigh. He then fell silent as they walked, thinking over everything he’d learned. Even when they freed the kids from the endoskeletons, there was clearly a lot more to do. At some point, Freddy would definitely have to go down and see that blob again… although he certainly wasn’t taking Gregory this time.
Perhaps he could bring Chica and Bonnie instead—somehow the thought of the “original” trio doing such a task just felt right.
Soon enough they’d reached the raceway and Freddy began trailing a paw along the false rock-face wall, telling the others: “We are looking for two ribbons hidden in a crevice—one for Lily and one for Ivy.”
“We'll find them!” Gregory remarked confidently, watching Chica move towards an opposite wall to search. As Freddy kept him balanced on a hip, Gregory couldn't help but wonder more about the names he’d mentioned a few minutes prior.
“Who are they? Evan and Michael... and Elizabeth?” Gregory asked Freddy curiously, tilting his head. He vaguely remembered at least the first two having something to do with the Aftons.
Freddy hesitated before answering slowly. “They are William’s children. Leon was able to find an image of them and I noticed some… similarities between you and Evan.”
Best not to say they were essentially twins so he didn’t freak Gregory out—the revelation that Gregory had even vague similarities to an Afton might disturb him enough. He gave the boy a reassuring smile.
“Wait, wait—William my actual dad?!” Gregory asked, mortified and immediately jumping to conclusions with the little understanding he had.
“He is definitely not your father in any way whatsoever,” Freddy said, adamantly shaking his head. He held Gregory closer, as if he could protect the boy from such horrible thoughts.
“I don't think that’d be possible, Gregory—he’s been underground for a really long time!” Chica added, and that seemed to satisfy the kid’s growing horror at such a revelation.
“Good; he's scary.” Gregory breathed out a relieved sigh, knocking his forehead against Freddy’s shoulder.
Nearby, Chica had located a suspicious crack near the bottom of the wall, well-concealed behind a large boulder. She bent down and reached in, fingers soon brushing against something soft. Carefully dislodging the objects, Chica pulled out two ribbons and held them up to the neon lights. They were a bright red, with a speckling of darker spots that made her mechanical heart ache.
“Hey—I found them!” she called, holding up her prize and turning to the others.
“Excellent,” Freddy replied, gesturing for Chica to follow as he left the raceway. “Let us add the ribbons to the collection of items. If Monty and Roxy are still in their rooms like I requested, we can call Bonnie and I will fill you all in on what I know when we reach Rockstar Row. I will tell Sun and Moon another time.”
“Ooh, yes; I’ve got to know what you all found out,” Chica said, falling into step with the bear. She made sure to keep the ribbons pressed to her chest like the precious things they were.
Gregory hummed quietly, tilting his head at Freddy in question. “Does that mean I can listen, too?”
“Yes,” Freddy agreed with a nod. “It is not necessarily pleasant information, but it is important—and some of it pertains directly to you, Gregory.”
“Really?” He blinked, then propped his chin on Freddy’s shoulder with an intrigued frown. How in the world could he be more involved in this crazy fiasco?
As they exited Roxy's Raceway, Chica perked up with a little smile. “They listened, Freddy—Monty and Roxy are in her room. I just connected and told them we’re heading over now.”
“Excellent,” Freddy said, then blinked a few times before adding, “Bonnie will join us shortly as well. Here—” He held out a hand to Chica, palm-up. “—Gregory and I will drop off Lily and Ivy’s ribbons and then meet you all in Roxy’s room, alright?”
“Sure thing; see you in a minute.” Chica nodded, setting the ribbons in Freddy’s palm. With a wave, she headed towards Roxy's room.
“How many other items do we need to find?” Gregory asked, trying to keep his eyes off the bloodstains. The off-color rouge made him queasy.
“Three,” Freddy replied with a smile. “We are missing Katie’s, Mia’s, and Robin’s. I believe there are some other items we need to gather before we can fully perform the ritual, but these would be more easily-obtainable. The things we are searching for now are the crucial pieces.”
“We’re so close!” Gregory cheered, patting Freddy’s shoulder excitedly. “Can’t we just ask Vanessa for the last three now?”
“We will ask her soon,” Freddy reassured, giving Gregory a little squeeze. “She can only handle so much information at once. Still, I am hoping we find the rest by tomorrow night.”
With that he carried Gregory back to their room, letting the boy rest against him in comfortable silence. Once Freddy deposited the ribbons with the rest of the items, they headed to Roxy’s room where the group was waiting. Gregory had just settled into the couch when Bonnie showed up, looking a little frazzled.
“Hey, I heard there’s some news?!” the bunny asked, shutting the door behind him and looking at everyone.
“We do indeed,” Freddy confirmed, offering the group a smile. “We only have three items left to collect.”
Monty gasped loudly, throwing his hands in the air. “Only three?! That's amazin’!”
“…Unfortunately that is not the news I called you here to tell you about,” Freddy said, his grin slipping into a frown. “Vanessa gave us a lot more insight to the situation with William Afton than we expected, and I think it is important for you all to know what is going on—especially because he is not dead, but merely trapped down below.”
“What?!” Roxy and Bonnie exclaimed in unison. They shared a worried look before Bonnie added: “I mean we figured he wasn’t gone, but is he an actual threat again now?!”
Freddy shook his head. “No, not at the moment… although there is a possibility that he could be in the future.”
Gregory's eyes widened with surprise, sitting up straight. Hearing that did nothing to ease his nerves about this whole situation.
Chica’s brow twisted in worry. “That guy’s no good at all… What can we do to get rid of him?”
“I am sorry to say I cannot answer that question right now, Chica,” Freddy replied, shaking his head. “But I can tell you that he is securely trapped for the time being—Gregory and I unintentionally led him right to his current prison.” He paused, grimacing slightly. “Vanessa said that there are other spirits down there with him—spirits of other children he has done away with in the past, as well as… as his own children, possibly. Apparently all three of them despise William and may be working with the others to keep him captive.”
There was a beat of silence, before Roxy murmured: “…Damn, this guy’s getting worse and worse by the second!”
Chica nodded, lowering her gaze to the floor. On top of his murderous deeds, William’s own children were his prison wardens. She couldn’t help but feel sorry for all those poor little souls.
“Well, did Vanessa ever explain what he wanted?” Monty asked, scratching his jaw. “Did he want to rule the world or somethin’?! Wouldn't be surprised if he did...”
“Vanessa did not say his ultimate goal besides the fact that he wants to be ‘revived,’” Freddy said. “What he plans to do after that is still a mystery, although we do know one thing: it seems that he wants to replace his own children, in a sense. He…” Freddy paused, looking at Gregory’s innocent face and thanking the stars that the boy was here right now. “He was going to start with you, Gregory.
“You were never intended for an endoskeleton—at least, not after William saw you. You look so much like his youngest son, he wanted to keep you around until he got out so you could be part of his family. If we had not managed to lead him to the other spirits and break the virus’s connection, he would have had Vanny take another life in place of yours the next day… and then he would have been fully revived.”
“W-What?! No—” Gregory frantically shook his head, wide-eyed. “—that’s… He’s so scary! No thanks!”
“What a psycho!” Monty exclaimed, folding his arms over his chest. “At least Gregory’s with us now, so there’s no need to worry about William tryin’ to nab him!”
“Exactly!” Freddy said, a relieved smile on his face. “Gregory is safe and sound with all of us, and we stopped William before he could complete his plan.”
“Thank goodness,” Bonnie said, giving Gregory a soft smile.
Roxy grinned down at the boy, ruffling his hair before suddenly pulling him into a side hug. “Aww, come here, kid—I’m so glad you’re with us and not some weird ol’ dead guy!”
Gregory hugged onto Roxy, shutting his eyes tightly and trying to focus on the safety his robotic family provided. Even as Roxy ley go, he remained leaning against side. “So I really look like his son?!”
“You do indeed, superstar,” Freddy confirmed, then hummed in thought. “Hmm… it may be best for you all to see a picture of the Aftons, solely for awareness. Vanessa said that if they and the older spirits are released, it will set William free as well, so… if you ever see one of them wandering the Pizzaplex, it is cause for alarm.”
“Um… so are we planning to release them, then?” Roxy asked, tilting her head questioningly.
“We can’t leave them stuck forever, especially not with him,” Bonnie muttered, shaking his head.
“Of course we will free them, too!” Freddy reassured, though left a beat of silence afterwards. “…Eventually; we need to find a permanent solution for getting rid of William first. There is still too much we do not know right now.”
“I say you let me and Roxy beat him up!” Monty grinned, standing up straight and holding his claws up. “What's the worst that could happen?!”
“Uh—he controls you guys again?” Chica mentioned, appreciating her friends’ enthusiasm but on par with Freddy when it came to their rough and tumble plans.
Monty turned to stare at Chica for a moment before shaking his head. “Not gonna happen!”
“No, no, the solution for getting rid of William is not simply beating him up,” Freddy said, heaving a weary sigh.
“So who has these pictures?” Bonnie asked, his ears tilting down in question. “Thomas and Leon, I’m guessing?”
“Yes.” Freddy shot a stern glance at Monty and Roxy. “I have no idea where Thomas is right now, but Leon is currently with Vanessa. However, I shall assure she is nowhere nearby when we move.”
Roxy shifted her gaze to the floor, looking very apologetic, and Bonnie raised an eyebrow. “Why do I feel like I seriously missed out on something…?”
“Oh, because you did,” Chica chimed in. “Sun, Moon, Roxy, and Monty went absolutely insane when they spotted Leon carrying Vanessa in the Daycare!” She shook her head, hands on her hips. “But let's not talk about that again. More importantly, we need to start figuring out a way to contain William if he does potentially get out, just in case.”
“He better not show his ugly mug around here!” Gregory threatened, taking after Roxy’s attitude.
“Yeah, that’s the spirit, kid!” the wolf exclaimed, grinning with her chest puffed out proudly. She was always thrilled when kids started incorporating her attitude—it just proved she was the best, after all!
Freddy just gave another sigh. “I appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm, but let us focus on one thing at a time. Right now, we should meet up with Leon and have him show us some pictures.” He looked around the room sternly, paying special attention to Roxy and Monty. “I will go ahead to make sure Vanessa is nowhere in sight this time.”
Chica nodded, smiling softly. “Don't keep us waiting too long, Fredbear.”
“Yeah, me and Squirt will wait right here, bein’ the coolest guys around,” Monty announced, snatching the kid into his arms and eliciting a laugh.
“Hey!” Roxy said loudly, jumping to her feet and staring Monty down. “No fair! Wait your turn!”
“Do I ever get one?” Bonnie mumbled as the pair started to squabble, once again pulling Gregory back and forth between them. Freddy laughed and patted his shoulder.
“I wish you luck,” he said, then nodded to Chica before heading out. It was a short jog to party room the guard and his captive were still hunkered in, and the bear was soon knocking on the door. “Leon? It is Freddy; we found the ribbons, and now I have another request for you!”
Twisted truth pt 20, 21, & 22, by @magmacartoons
Warnings: Blood, fighting and foul language
Meanwhile, back at the pizzeria, Afton was still working on the machine
“Where the hell is Vanny and the other guards? They should have wiped T Freddy’s memory by now.” He wondered
“Try contacting her again.”
“Mrs. Vanessa, please come in.” Victor said into the walkie-talkie, but all it was was just static
“Mrs. Vanessa, are you there? Can anyone hear me?” He continued
“Argh! Give me that. Vanny, come in. This is Mr. Dave. Where are you?” He asked, but unfortunately it was still the same
“Vanny, come in!” He demanded
“Something must’ve gone wrong sir.” Victor said
Afton refused to believe that, and decided to have his own animatronics to help him.
He wanted them to bring T Freddy dead.
….
After the whole thing was going on, Y/n just stayed quiet hoping the horror animatronics wouldn’t notice or recognize her
“Well well well, what do we have here?” The animatronics said. He looked a little bit like a hyena or something
“Wait a minute. I know you. Yeah you’re that bear I helped rescue all those years ago. How have you been? You look a little more pale than I remember. You could probably use some sun. But then again, who am I to judge?” Deathtrap said and he laughed about it
“I’m sorry. I think you’ve got me confused for someone else-” T Freddy said, but he was cut off
“Oh come on now! I know a familiar face when I see one and I never mistake it. Hey, Lumi, Sari, look who it is. It’s our old pal, Freddy Fazbear.” He said
“Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.” Lumi said
“Yes he is. How’ve you been, Fazbear? Hope we didn’t scare you too badly. It’s our thing after all.” Sari said
“Quick side note, I might have gotten lonely enjoying freedom all by myself, so I rebuilt them and erased their memories of me killing them. But let’s just keep that to ourselves, Eh old pal?” Deathtrap
“I don't know what you’re talking about, but that sounds really messed up.” T Freddy muttered
“Well, since we’re all friends here, you should probably excuse me, I’m in a big hurry.” He told them
But he was stopped, they seemed pretty eager to catch up with him
“Hang on there friend. It’s been a while since we’ve seen you. We have a lot of catching up to do.” Lumi insisted
“Yeah, we have so many questions.” Sari said. Like, what’s this?”
“Hey! Give that back!” T Freddy shouted
“Now, what do we have here? What’s this?” Deathtrap asked
“It’s the plan for William Afton’s machine, he’s trying to make himself immortal and he needs 6 souls of the children he murdered in order to collect their remnant.” T Freddy explained
“Wait? So that purple bastard isn’t already immortal?”
“Well, he was at one point, but not anymore.” T Freddy said
“This is fantastic! Now we actually have a shot at killing Afton and being free for good.” Deathtrap exclaimed
“Wait. So you guys have been after William Afton too?” He asked
“Em. Not necessarily. We’ve been living here all this time, peacefully. But then Afton came back and rebuilt the sister location and we were sent out of our new home and forced into hiding!” Sari said
“We wanted nothing to Afton. But that monster still finds a way to make life hard for us. So in order to get our home back, we have no choice but to find him and kill him.” Lumi suggested
They all wanted to get their revenge on him, but none of them knew that a certain someone was watching and listening to them as they talked about it while she was hiding in a closet
“All this time, I’ve been saying, “forget about Afton. Let’s just go and enjoy our freedom since we’ve been held captive for so long.” But I was wrong. He is a cancer that continues to torment us until he finally ends us.” Deathtrap said. “The only way we can truly be free, is by killing Afton once and for all. Just like Sliver wanted.”
“Rest his soul.” Lumi said
“Indeed.” Sari said
“I’m so sorry you’ve all had to suffer.” T Freddy said, sympathetically. “I guess I know what that’s like. My whole life has turned out to be a lie. I thought I was made to entertain children. But in reality, I was just used as a cover up for what Afton was really doing. Torturing those poor, innocent souls. So many people have suffered from that. But I know how to stop him. I just don’t know if I can. I don’t know if I’m strong enough.”
Y/n felt really bad about that
“I feel your pain. But if you know how you can stop Afton, then we’re just going to have to help you do it.” Deathtrap said
“What? Really?” T Freddy asked
“Of course. With 3 extra killing machines by your side, Afton will be dead before sunrise. Assuming we find him before sunrise, of course.” He chuckled
“Oh! I know where he is. He’s at the new Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria in the shopping mall area.” T Freddy mentioned
“Heh. Shocker.” Lumi muttered
“He has a lab there where he spends most of his time. It’s also where his machine is located. If we make it back, I can destroy the machine, and you 3 can take out all the guards and kill Afton. This could actually work. We can actually stop him.”
“Then we’re all in agreement. Afton dies tonight.” Deathtrap said
And then they heard what sounded like a sneeze.
“Oh geez. Sari, have you been sneezing again?” Deathtrap asked
“I know what you’re thinking, but that wasn’t me this time.” Sari said
Then they heard what sounded like a a muffled noise coming from the closest
“It’s coming from in there.” T Freddy said, and Lumi was the first to check it out. He opened it and found the girl
“Hey guys. Check this out.” He said and he grabbed her by the prosthetic arm
“Woah!” Y/n exclaimed as she was pulled out
“What the?” Sari said
“Oh damn it.” Y/n said sarcastically
“Hey, guys, maybe we should put her down.” T Freddy suggested
“Maybe not until we get answers.” Deathtrap said. Who are you and why are you spying on us?”
She was probably thinking about lying, but she had to tell the truth
“I’m…. Y/n…. William Afton’s daughter.” She admitted
“What?!” Lumi said, as she fell to the floor, with her arm still in his hand, but he threw it on the ground
“What?!” Sari asked
“Who?” Deathtrap asked
They were all shocked, except for T Freddy who already knew her
“Yeah…”
“I know what you’re all thinking, but she’s not like her dad.” T Freddy defended her
“You’re the daughter of William Afton?!” Sari asked, shockingly
“Well, yeah.” She said
“Was this before or after he became a serial killer?” Lumi asked
“You’re the daughter of a serial killer?” Deathtrap asked
“ay dios mío. (Oh my god). Why are you all asking like that’s a big deal?” Y/n asked
“Hello? We didn’t know he had a daughter.” Sari said
“We just didn’t know what happened. It wasn’t until we heard rumor’s and news about how you survived that car accident and made… well… a sort of recovery.” Deathtrap said, as he noticed her missing arm
“So… you guys already knew about me?”
“Yep.” Lumi said
“Still, you probably might need to explain a few things.” T Freddy said
“What on earth are you talking about?” Y/n asked, not knowing what he was saying
“Maybe the fact that you weren’t back at the pizzeria! And you’ve been hiding around in the sister location for a few days after I was captured. I think you owe us an explanation.” T Freddy argued
“You were hiding in the sister location?” Deathtrap asked
Y/n couldn’t hide it anymore
“Alright, alright. If it’ll get you guys off my back, the truth is… I ran away.” She admitted
“You ran away? When?” T Freddy asked
“About hours later after you were captured. “She started with a sigh. “I took the stupid old prosthetic off, because it was just a reminder of all the lies and the schemes I’ve been manipulated into. I knew about the sister location already, so I just decided to stay there. That’s when new friends of mine found me. And they told me everything that happened in the past and the plan. After that, I wanted to stop his doings.”
They all looked at you, just confused and shocked
“But, you didn’t know about the plan? He never told you who he really was?” Sari asked
“If he did, what do think would’ve happened? Would he have ever told me? Or would he just try to kill me when he had the chance?” Y/n asked as she walked past them
“Y/n…” T Freddy muttered, worried about her
And she put her new arm back on and looked back at them.
“I know you don’t probably trust me right now. Believe you me, I wouldn’t want to either. But right now, we need to focus. We need your help so we can save the souls and destroy the machine. If we can, we might actually stand a chance.”
“And… how do we know you’ll keep your word for it?” Deathtrap asked
“Hmmm. Good point.” She agreed. And she had an idea. Well, more of a promise.
“How about… we make a deal?” Y/n suggested
“Oh c’mon. You think we’re that stupid? Making a deal with someone like you?” Lumi asked and T Freddy elbowed him
“Hey!” T Freddy said
“It’s fine. And it’s not anything dangerous or weird or whatever. It’s just a simple deal. I help you do this. And after he’s gone, in return, I’ll be willing to give you freedom. There’s plenty of places you can go and hideout for a new home. Just try staying out of sight from other humans.” Y/n explained
“That’s a pretty big deal.” T Freddy muttered
They thought about it for a while but they wanted to see how it plays out
“You won’t go double crossing us or go back on your word?” Deathtrap asked, suspiciously
“When I promise something, I never break it.” She said carefully
Deathtrap looked back at them and he went into agreement.
“Do we have a deal?” Y/n asked
And he looked back at her. Raising his arm
“We have a deal.” Deathtrap agreed
And they both shook hands
“Alright. It’s settled then. William Afton dies tonight.” Y/n said
“If only Sliver were here to see his dream becoming a reality.” Sari started with a sigh
And right as she said that, everyone backed up.
It was Silver, but he wasn’t himself
“Oh boy, that is one big bad wolf.” Y/n said, standing beside T Freddy
“Speak of the devil.” Deathtrap smirked
“Silver?” Sari asked
“That’s silver?!” Y/n asked
“He’s alive?!” Sari asked, shocked
“But you told us he was dead, Deathtrap!” Lumi mentioned
“I…uh…well…Silver, my old friend. How’ve you been old buddy…” Deathtrap tried to hug him, but he got slapped
“Yeah. I guess I deserve that.” He muttered
“I have no clue what you did, but whatever it was, you must’ve really pissed him off.” Y/n said
And then more of them came.
“Oh no. Not these guys.” Y/n said
“What are those things?” T Freddy asked
“Twisted animatronics. Monster versions of us. And they might want to hurt us. Afton told me about how he made those and they were dangerous.”
“Uh… judging by how their looking, I’d say their here to kill Fazbear only.” Sari mentioned
“Oh fan freakin tastic.” T Freddy said sarcastically
“Oh calm your pale bologna looking ass, Fazbear.” Deathtrap said. “We’re not going to let them lay a finger on you.”
“Are you kidding me?! We don’t stand a chance. It’s basically 4 savage monsters against you 3.” T Freddy said. He wasn’t being wrong about that
“Then it’s gonna be a fun fight.” Lumi said. And that’s when they started fighting
T Freddy was hiding underneath a table but he was found by the twisted version of him
And then an arrow was shot into the animatronic.
“Afton!” Y/n called out. “Afton, we need to speak!” She demanded
The twisted animatronic came close to her and then the eyes glowed as the words came out
“Y/n?” Afton replied “Is that you? Oh! I’m so relieved to hear from you. Where are you? And you are in so much tr-” he ranted but she cut him off. The others were looking at them as the confrontation went on
“Shut the hell up and let me speak!”
Everyone was shocked as she said that. T Freddy was too. He knew she was upset, but he didn’t know that her situation was this bad
“I know what you did during your days as a serial killer!” She shouted and everything just went quiet. “Did I mumble, Dad?” She said, angrily. “Why should I even call you that?”
Afton was terrified. He didn’t know how she found out but she was very furious with him
“Everything I did. I did it all for you.” He said, getting angry. “I’ve spent my entire life raising you. And this is the thanks I get?!”
She looked back at her friends who just stared at her.
“I can’t believe you. All this time you’ve been hiding this from me. And what else comes out of all this?” She said as she walked around. “You put me through a car accident, you kept lying to my face, your talking to me in a stupid excuse of a hideout house!” She ranted
“And now… she said and grabbed a bow and arrows. “I’m gonna have to help them finish this.” Y/n said
“Try it. Daughter.” Afton said, and the twisted animatronic fought her, but she fought surprisingly well
And then the fighting continued. While all that was going on, Freddy ran into the woods and Silver followed him. Deathtrap and Y/n looked at each other and nodded.
“Hey Lumi, you wanna fight 2 animatronics?” Deathtrap asked
“Not really.” Lumi said as he punched on of them
“Too bad. Here you go! Have fun.” He said as he grabbed Y/n by the hand and ran off
“Deathtrap! You son of a-” He tried to say, but the other one pounced on him
“Was that really necessary?” Y/n asked
“They’ll thank me later. Now come on!” He said
T Freddy continued to keep running until he found him and pinned him to the ground.
He was going to hurt him. Until Y/n and Deathtrap came in.
“Hi ho, freakin sliver.” He smirked
“Guys?” T Freddy said
“What, Fazbear? You didn’t think we’d let you have all the fun, did you?” He asked and Sliver started shaking them around
“Woah! Woah! Deathtrap, can’t you do something?!” Y/n shouted
“Oh calm down! Alright, let’s see if I can fix this. A little bit of this and that. And voila!” He messed with the switches and wires causing Silver to shut down and they both jumped off
“Whoops. It looks like I accidentally killed him again.” He smirked
“Dude? What did you do?” Y/n asked, feeling confused
“Well, I was trying to rewire him to see if I could turn him back to normal, but I might have short circuited him by accident. Oh well, might be for the best. Now let’s go kill Afton once and for-” he was interrupted because he was rebooting himself and then he was back to normal
“What? Where am I?” He wondered. “Ugh, my head.”
“Silver?”
“Deathtrap? What’s going on? How did we get here?” He said and looked at the other people
“Who’s the kid and the white bear?” He asked
“You.. uh… don’t remember?” Deathtrap asked
“Remember? Remember what? The last thing I remember was we were in Hurricane park, when you.. ” and then he remembered something “Stabbed me in the back.” He said angrily
“Oh.” Deathtrap muttered
And then he grabbed him and held him against a tree.
“Now hold on a minute, Sliver. I’ll explain everything later. But I think your gonna want to hear this. We know exactly where William Afton is hiding.” He said
“You do? Where? Where is he?” Silver demanded
“Our polar bear friend and newest member in the group know exactly where he is. And they have a plan to kill him for good.” He said
“Do you have a plan?” Silver asked
“Yes, we do.” T Freddy said
“And it would be a great idea if you helped us, old friend.” Deathtrap said
“Of course, anything to finally put that purple swearing bastard in the ground. Now tell me, what is this plan you two have.” Silver asked
“Alright listen closely.”
….
Afton found out about the spirit and T Freddy and the others were talking about the plan. And then the shadows came and helped them. But Silver and Deathtrap went back for Lumi and Sari
