I like to think combat training for these two became more complicated as they got older, if you know what I mean
I colored the last one first and then lowered my standards. give it up for 10yo ambrosius and his glaringly yellow shirt

sometimes when i write, i have to rewatch character scenes to get back in their mindset. and whenever i write peter too crass or insensitive, i gotta remind myself:
this is the guy who saved a doggie when he didn't have to. who saved some goldfish when he didn't have to. who moonwalked in the midst of an explosion. who says shit like "him and my mom they did it" in reference to his conception. who pranks a bunch of security guards instead of obliterating them. who tries to look super cool in front of kiddos. who takes time to console and comfort said kiddos. who faced a god when he's never fought a villain of that scale before.
he's not crass. he's not insensitive. he's a doofus sweetheart

Here's the thing about politics, and ultimately, the world: you are going to be biased, and you are going to have a limited understanding of others to an extent. The key is to not deny that this exists because you will be ignorant when you are biased and limited in your worldview.
Yes, absolutely listen to multiple voices and points of view and a variety of different types of people. But know that this isn't the same as erasing all biases and "self-centered" views. Strive to do better without denying that you are fallible.

Gonna ask this to a few people that inspire me, but how do you take inspiration from things without feeling like whatever you make is just bad in comparison? Or like a downgraded version of the thing(s) that inspired you?
(If this is too negative feel free to delete/ignore, I'm sorry)
Oh gosh this is such an interesting question since, I dont think I really have feelings of thinking my version is bad? Or that I am just a copy?
I am honestly just grateful my work became as popular as it is in the first place haha- low expectations going in to begin with. That and, I am very aware my art style isnt as defined and polished as other peoples styles, but I have come to terms with this! And hey the improvement in my own artwork over the past year is a massive trip if you go back through some of my older stuff- I am improving, slowly.
I mean, 2AL started by complete accident, and was "inspired" from me wishing the Leos from OMO or MNMC would hug it out already- but if you were to compare 2AL to one of those, they are very different. Hell even comparing OMO and MNMC, same starting point, but still very different.
I think my only advice to other people trying to make an AU is to try and find some core theme/idea and work around that, rather than gather a bunch of little things from other sources you like into a big pile. Find some key message to start up a base with.

Alright we gave a lot of shit to Luther for his "DAd sEnD mE ON thE MOON" whiny discourse but I think we don't talk enough of Five's "You think I had it easy ? I was ALONE for 45 YEARS!!" whenever someone talk about how awful growing up with Reginald was. Like. Dude, okay you're a grown ass man in the body of a 12yo boy and you're mad about it, that's fair. But it's not your siblings fault, so stop yelling at them because all of you had it rough. Besides, you CHOOSE to not listen to your fucking dad while they were FORCED to obey him.

no, actually my least favorite thing about watching thai dramas while speaking & understanding thai... is that the dialects never match up 😭😭😭 if a character is from a non-central province, they'll have their whole family speak in northern/southern/isaan dialect while the main character, who's played by an actor from bangkok, will unexplainably not have any remnants of his native dialect when he speaks even though he was born & raised in the area and often time never even left... that shit breaks the fourth wall to me, like... why even hire an actor who doesn't fit the role fully, I don't get it 😭

You made your icon? Do you have a bigger picture of them?
Sure! I had to dig through my camera roll for these since I don't have them on hand right now, but here they are, before and after painting!
I made them in with my school's 3D printers, a matching pair for me and my friend.
Unfortunately, they are very small, about 5 cm tall, so the pictures might not help much.
Six's raincoat took so many layers of paint, but it was worth it in the end!
