im fine im totally fine and also normal (i am going to spend the next week comparing the details of the original hound of the baskervilles to what we know about the professor case in dgs to try and build up some specifics in my head about what happened during that time in dgs. WHETHER I LIKE IT OR NOT)

#ok but like its really funny ok #i specifically remember mikotoba has some dialogue saying that iris figured out a lot of details of the case #even though she only had a few notes to go on. so this means her manuscript included a lot of things accurate to what really happened #and we should generally assume in dgs that iris’s stories are largely the same as the acd originals. thats largely the implication #and its the simplest thing to work with #but hound of the baskervilles & the professor case are WILDLY WILDLY DIFFERENT EVEN FROM THE BASIC PREMISE #they have almost NOTHING in common #therefore implying that it’s all the somewhat smaller details of the story -#stuff that wouldnt have been mentioned at all in DGS; stuff too irrelevant to ever get brought up -#that went Virtually The Same in DGS.#this is really interesting TO ME ok.#wake up babes monty melteveryone is building a new pepe silvia board #against zir will.#basilposting

sam and cas are so... they're like brothers-in-law that are always slightly awkward bc their relationship only exists bc of a different person. and the first few seasons getting to know each other they keep getting pissed off if they exchange more than a few words ("he's an abomination", "i'll hunt you down and kill you", etc) but there's still somehow an inherent admiration there (bc that's Dean's Brother/that's An Angel). and eventually they do become some sort of actual friends. bc along with everything else. they realized that they can be bitchy to each other without toning it down and enable each other's most insane ideas.

compared to sam+dean and cas+dean's relationships, sam+cas are remarkably unaffected by everything that happens. they might have seasons long fights or plots with dean, but with each other they're always just kinda chill. like, yeah, course he's always gonna be there. we're friends and i don't actually like him that much but he is my 2nd closest family member in the world. he can be super annoying but i'd die for him in a heartbeat :)

They'd have their shared home above mithruns noodle place, and its not that far from the castle.

Kabru IS welcome to stay in the castle, but let's be real he would overwork himself if he was constantly with his literal hyperfix. Hes collectivly banned LOL.

Hed lives with mithrun under the guise that "mithrun needs a caretaker" but in reality, it's mithrun taking care of kabru.

Insert that scene where past!mithrun is whispering to mithruns ear. Yeah. Thats how he knows what kabru is upto.

Kabru is does smth mundane to the unseen eye like And mithrun goes "no tf you dont. i did this when i was 110 years old i know your tricks"
