WIP Game, because Why Not Wednesday

The WIPs I'm currently focusing on are Steddie Blackmail and my Steddie Big Bang fic where these dumb pine trees have taken 60k words to finally talk about the fact that they regularly cuddle.

Word game: Send me a word and if it's in my fic I'll post the snippet it's in. If not, I'll write three sentences and post those.

Scene game: Send me a pair (or group) of characters and if there's a scene between the two (or more) of them I'll post the snippet. If not, three new sentences.

Chapter snippets: Send me a chapter number and (if I have it) I'll post a snippet and do a quick edit session on the chapter.

Trope game: Send me a trope you think is in my fic. If it is I'll post the snippet. If not, three new sentences.

Shouldn't he be at work? Oh no- He jolted awake and needed an extra moment for confusion. Alright, it's his office. So he fell asleep on his break. Crap. How late is-

His gaze slid over ceiling and his thoughts abruptly stopped. What? He hid face in hands for a moment, rubbing his tired eyes. Clearly he's not exactly awake yet.

i went to a tiny counterserve diner once and accidentally poured sugar instead of salt all over my hashbrowns and was eating them sadly anyways. the waitress took them away and started making me another one and I tried to protest, but she just snorted and said "we're not catholic here". now every time i'm doing something painful out of obligation i think about how that is not repenting, this body is not a catholic establishment, there is no nobility in suffering.

also, Lilia in particular has maybe the best timeskip character development of all time

idk if this is accurate but i’ve felt like in previous seasons riz & gorgug have been one of the inter-bad kids dynamics we’ve seen the least of & this season has been so great in that aspect. gorgug having helped make some of riz’s magic gear. riz helping gorgug with his studies. the shared birthday party. gorgug’s gift to riz being something he himself made to protect riz. riz’s gift to gorgug being something he illegally grabbed to protect gorgug. gorgug who utilizes rage to put his body on the line for his friends & riz who will take deep levels of mental stress for his friends. even though it was within the context of a joke, riz calling gorgug an “absolute sweetie.” like yea they might not be in a band together or both part of a presidential campaign team or owlbears teammates, but they’d go to war for each other, because they’re best friends.

i love how like nobody really talks about the possessions in ace attorney. spirit mediums and possession and lowkey magic just exists in ace attorney and nobody talks about it. there’s LOTS people make posts about that detail the craziest things abt ace attorney and nobody is like oh yah spirit mediums and possession is like a huge part of the game series btw

okay i know the girlies are talking about Isaac in regards to the aroace rep and realisations (and as they should he’s a phenomenal character and he means the world to me!!) but can we talk about Charlie in episode 6 when he says to Nick “if you didn’t ever want to do it, then I wouldn’t either.”

i’m asexual biromantic and i worry about being rejected for not wanting something that 99% of the population wants, i’m worried that i won’t be able to have a fulfilling relationship with an allo person because i feel like i’d be robbing them of something that i’ve been taught is expected in relationships. But hearing Charlie say, so easily, “if you didn’t ever want to do it… I wouldn’t either.” is so personal to me because he’s literally saying that he can still love Nick and be in a fulfilling relationship with him and never have sex and that it’s okay if Nick never wants to have sex
