trying to learn how to make Left4Dead mods, specifically a survivor model that I already have a model someone else made, BUT MY LORD im WAILING folks
not only am i back in the hell trenches that is a 3D modelling program (spits thinking about school) but also I cant find any good tutorials for Blender and, Kitten, I'll be honest. Daddy's about to kill himself (joke joke but also man this is the THIRD TIME trying again. first two times ended the exact same and i expect this one to end the same. stay tuned!!!)
ps if anyone has rigged up and put survivor models in l4d2 before I will literally draw you whatever you want, full color and shading, if you can put this fucking model for me on steam workshop. (not joking in the slightest, i have the model file I just need you to do the complex shit ; - ; it doesnt even have to be THAT GOOD i just want this fucker in my game)

regardless if it’s a timeskip or not i do think the new outfits signify a new chapter in their lives??? like in the case of bat:
kuukou’s still punk still monk lol but more importantly, he still has his sachihoko symbols on his haori thing. kuukou’s always changed the symbols on his coat whenever he gets a new one so it’s an important point!!! sachihoko are guardians to protect from storms so kuukou still has his protector/protection imagery
jyushi’s overcoat is still the same style but it is longer and darker and his outfit as a whole is grandiose lol like even more vkei, so i’d say this is jyushi’s final form a jyushi more true to himself and braver than ever before and ready to perform on his biggest stage yet
hitoya’s i’m not too sure actually lol but it reminds me a lot of his fit back when he helped out kuukou and jyushi. if that’s the angle then it might have him playing support for whatever he’ll be getting into as jakurai’s partner. also lends to his own knight imagery since that’s the period of time we see him as a defender

I see a lot of complaints from people in photography groups that they struggle with the focus tracking in their camera or just focus in general and I'm not gonna lie, I just can't relate. My DSLR is too ancient to have that kind of thing so I learned to do everything the hard way and did so for a decade. Plus shooting film teaches you a lot about manually shooting. Too many photographers are too reliant on the tech and need to go a little more old school/manual because I strongly believe it makes a better photographer.
#personal#like the tech is cool and convenient#but it really stunts a person's growth in a way#like everyone should know how to grab focus fast without the fancy tracking in cameras now#like my dslr does have servo i wont lie#but i still had to track my subjects manually#like i got by okay shooting sports with that slow as fuck camera#so idk just feels silly i guess to see so many people complaining#when its really not hard to compensate for the camera 🤷#maybe its just people expecting the tech to pull more weight than it actually can#so they just dont understand that theyre supposed to do more than just press a button??
