Pick An Image: What can you do to improve your appearance?

Pile 1

There’s a form of communication you wish to convey to people in general through your appearance. Going more rogue, masculine think of American style, darker eyes or keeping your beard if you’re a dude. A sign is given to me that you should explore with your face, I’m getting sfx makeup, eyelashes, clown/futuristic yet sinister looks. It’s finding that one shock factor.

You should experiment with your highs and lows, which means depth of colour, such as darker shades to lighter shades, explore the extremities, the universe wants you to be experimental with turning it up. I see you guys are trying to speak using your appearance as a form of power, find an accessory that helps you convert that, it can be worn on the hands, or you can hold it, that’s a form of edge to it. Prosthetics is also something prominent in the cards of course if accessible, and sportswear. Your appearance is also a great point for visually teaching individuals, you can imitate or be inspired by subcultures you’re really into etc, I’m getting face tattoos, slashed eyebrows, looking like someone from the past/television.

Can I just say, OMG! You guys are encouraged to looked b17chy if you get what I mean, looking like a heartbreaker, go all out materialistic, filled with wealth looking. Loud shiny dresses, or even old money aesthetic pieces work too, quiet luxury. Final message is, the universe encourages you to pay no attention to what people say about you, and even if they are worried about you, you should remain ignorant about their comments regarding your appearance.

dee i am screeeeaming thinking about beach volleyball suna and rotating him in my brain like a rotisserie chicken. the possibilities….!!!

like maybe you’re local to the town while he visits every summer, and you were the best there until the year he showed up which is why you can’t stand him. but he thinks you’re really talented and has no idea what this weird one-sided beef is- or even better, has no idea you have beef with him at all!

or…OR maaaybe you guys both grew up there and were childhood friends/vb partners until he moved away, now he’s back but you hate him and how stupid good(looking) he’s gotten. and i love the idea that maybe you were a bit tomboyish as a child, but now you’ve outgrown the baggy sportswear and the whole time you’re seething about being paired with him he’s trying (but not that hard) to keep his eyes off all your newly exposed skin. he does well to keep cool but god help him if he catches a glimpse of a tan line

either way, i strongly believe this is prime entertainment for everyone else and they start placing bets

i love both concepts. especially the one-sided beef, because suna's definitely flirting with you, and it just makes you even more mad because the antagonistic narrative in your head is so convoluted you're convinced he's just doing it to be patronizing!

and the childhood vb partners?? suna fighting for his life trying not to get a mid-game boner when you show up in a sports bra?????? your absolute spiral of misery when you belatedly realize the reason that you're so annoyed by all of the attention he seems to be getting from girls now is because you're jealous?

i finally have these 2 icons in me sim bin omg

i tried to keep nina’s look as similar to her TS2 appearance as possible even though i am itching to change it. the black crop top and pink jeans/cargos... the bright berry lip with the smoky eye in the daytime... I’M SORRY I JUST DON’T GET IT! i threw on some coral blush to complete her look. why not. it’s just so much all at once. it reminds me of the 2000s before social media was big, and most people just did whatever they wanted with their makeup and outfits. it’s the complete opposite of the current clean girl/soft glam/natural, minimalist, highly curated and perfected look. nina cakes it on and she looks damn good.

she’s like if a 2000s barbie raided a bratz doll’s closet. i’ve decided that’s the direction i’m taking her in. 

so actually this look is very fitting for nina the character. i can see her putting this on at her vanity in the morning, clothes strewn all over her bed, music blasting. i feel like she just doesn’t give a fuck. she looks in the mirror and she knows she’s hot, end of story. i can respect that.

you know what nina, i retract my judgment. i didn’t see the vision but now i do.

i feel like dina very much aspires to the stereotypical sugar baby/gold digger lifestyle while nina just wants to live each day to the fullest, have fun, and is less concerned with snagging herself a rich man. she’s the more obvious wild child of the two (dina is just sneakier about her activities). i feel like nina would go for more sportswear and streetwear type clothes while dina goes for the y2k, 2010s glamorous it-girl look.

dina actually seems more mature and more of an older sister to me than nina. i feel like nina’s personality is more straightforward/direct, impulsive, and emotionally driven, while dina is more two-faced, strategic, and more of a subtly manipulative game-player which you’d have to be if you were to be a successful gold-digger. she thinks ahead and considers different outcomes, making her the more “responsible” decision maker of the duo. at the end of the day, they are both women who put themselves first and go after what they want, they just achieve their goals in different ways.

it’s interesting that the sims wiki states that nina’s official description is the “brains of the operation” and wants to study medicine when none of her traits in TS3 and TS4 really reflect those qualities. if anything i think dina would be the more successful one in the medicine field because she’s ambitious, charismatic, and you already know she’d network the hell out of a room. nina seems like she’d be more of a yolo, fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants type of person in school/work/life in general.

Omg, tbh I laugh at like everything LMAO but there was this one moment recently during last Christmas, I was with my old childhood friends and we were being silly and dumb fr. We all just like, had our usual silly banter and then we started passing around someone’s random massage remote and idk it was dumb and stupid, but it reminded me of back then and how much I had fun with my childhood friends during those times

61: Favorite line you heard from a book/movie/tb show/etc.?

Ahhh, there’s probably so many examples I want to use, but I think this one is one of my top faves! This is from Persona 4 the Musical, which was a fan project done by fans of the game before Atlus had shut it down. Persona 4 is already a game near and dear to my heart, so when I found out about this fan project, I got so excited because I also love musicals so it was like my two favorite things fdjfjfk

It's amateurish I'm not gonna lie, the musical is rough and ready, but the passion is there. You can really feel the spirit of the original game and its story here, especially in the last song "Maybe That's The Point". It would take me too long to explain why it means so much to me, so I'll just show the quote here:

of course i love doing these omg !! and yes she does :’) she often gets invited to model for lingerie/sportswear photoshoots because of it. she’s around 5’7 with long dark hair (down to her chest + often styled wavy), but she’s dyed them a lot of colors over the years. she keeps it natural now because sae said natural looks good on her haha she’s also a year younger than him ! (in my head sae’s 2 years older than yn)

4. what does their villain armor look like? what is their typical style of dress?

personally, i don't care about the armor looks as a general sense (as an artist they terrify me lol), the only one i've invested time into actually thinking about is k-'s suit, which uses the mysterious tag. i like to think that the mirrored face and the body can change from black to white with some simple telepathic tuning, so k- can make rippling patterns (think like a rorschach test) k-'s style of dress (in game) is worn/streetwear. in my mind they lean towards very soft knitwear, lots of jackets and joggers with a thin/tight nanomesh skinsuit beneath everything. jordan goes for expensive/fashionable (depending on my whim lol) sportswear. she says she's retired... but she always looks dressed to potentially take a fight. zoeya is boring. nondescript/military surplus. he looks like a nurse/camp counselor in the only picture i've drawn of him. siofia goes for fashionable/elegance. she hoped that the change in wardrobe would fix something in her. but instead her clothes make her skin crawl. she can never get things right.

jordan: loyalty k-: honesty zoeya: justice siofia: tenacity

22. how do they feel about their telepathy? is it a gift? a curse?

k- accepts it, but it feels like a burden. the weight of every thought constantly bearing down on them is painful. zoeya doesn't see it as a gift, per se. its a tool, and its an incredibly important tool that he cannot afford to lose. he's deeply uncomfortable losing access to it when using puppets. jordan also sees it as a tool, but a tool is something you should be able to put away when not using it, and she's is inclined to enjoy the break from it that using puppets grants. siofia... loves it. she wouldn't be able to hide the things she's done without it.

24. how do they typically come across to strangers? to friends? do they frequently use their telepathy to influence others’ perceptions of them?

k- comes across as harsh yet quiet to strangers, and miserable to friends. jordan is the most personable, she's bright and friendly; and when given the obvious go ahead, incredibly flirty. she doesn't deflect her feelings and will slip up and let her anger issues flare around friends. zoeya is always deflecting conversations away from personal topics. to a stranger it might come across as anxious, but it's a little more tactical and manipulative then that. siofia is exactly who you want her to be. of the lot, only zoeya and siofia use their telepathy to influence others, but only siofia would ever use it on her so called friends.

6. Idk what all of these mean but uhh I really like pastel and grunge asthetics! I think the closest to what I realistically wear is sportswear though (think homelesscore /j I have one wearable pair of pants and yes it is as bad as you are imagining)
