~ because I went to the beach today

Aran Ojiro:

Would help set up everything and clean up— the umbrella, the grill, the towels, whatever is left out on the beach. Aran would have some time to himself... and probably spend that lazing in his chair because the boy earned it.

Akagi Michinari:

Would probably have fun playing in the water with Osamu/ Ginjima. And he would totally get into chicken fights with Ginjima on the twin's shoulders or Akagi on Ginjima's. Would offer to help clean up but Aran and Kita got it already

Ginjima Hitoshi:

This mf is running on the beach screaming his head off with Atsumu. He's playing volleyball? In the water? Stomping over sand castles? Yeah, they're yelling.

Kita Shinsuke:

Like Aran would help set up/ clean up. I feel like Kita would also make a bomb ass sandcastle with "help" (documentation) from Suna. Would show his rare annoyed side when Atsumu and Ginjima run through part of it.

Miya Atsumu:

This mf is like an overexcited golden retriever and has to be moving to get all of his energy out. He's playing volleyball, swimming (previously mentioned), running around (also previously mentioned), and when he finally is done the food is ready and he's eating the most. Kita and Osamu say it's okay for him to start his nap in the van early so he skips on cleaning up

Miya Osamu:

He's worried about the grill the whole time, and you BEST believe he's the grill master. He's the one holding the tongs and making sure the barbecue is perfect. He'd take a break to go join for one game of volleyball and a few chicken fights in the water (only passing the tongs to kita), before returning to his station.

Omimi Rēn:

Ummm, tbh, not really sure what he would do. Maybe he would just sit there? Bring a book to read under the umbrella while Aran relaxes? He would definitely break down the umbrella and he'd be the one holding the bags of towels and sand castle materials (shovels and buckets etc). From behind his phone's screen, Suna sticks his tongue out at the twins fighting. "Hear that? I always comfort (Y/N) when she's lonely more than you two." This ticks them off. Atsumu glares right at the pussy hair boy, seemingly jealous.

This keeps going on and on until the moment Kita finally tells them to stop. He just wants to hear your beautiful voice and nobody else's. Just– let him have a moment.

Aran had nearly begun sobbing. "What a good hearted girl." He quietly praises while watching you stand right up in front of the stage, with the biggest smile on your face as you sang.

It was done, the sounds of the instruments began to fade and you look to your team, soft expression never fading once. It was that time on that they had known you would never leave them, because with those lyrics alone, you definitely chose to stay.

Clapping. You wanted to hear that most. Because you tried hard to confess– maybe a bit too hard just thinking about the song, but it was worthwhile to see some of the boys's rare smiles.

Ah yes...both sides agree it was a real blessing to have you on their team. No take backs.

Movie nights with Inarizaki 3rd years

·      Each time another chooses a movie.

·      None is allowed to wear matching socks throughout the duration of the movie. Nobody really remembers where this rule came from.

·      Akagi alters his choices between turn-your-brain-off action movies and horror movies (after Audition Omimi started believing his goal is to traumatize them for life).

·      Aran just wants to relax and laugh with his friends, so he chooses comedies. Sometimes he'll intentionally choose a really bad movie so they can tear it apart.

·      Kita started choosing light hearted movies after Aran's little brother wanted to join but couldn't because they were watching one of Akagi's horrors.

·      So once he chose Pan's Labyrinth. Aran's brother was fascinated and declared it was the greatest movie he'd ever seen, all while the guys bawled their eyes out.

·      He made the same mistake with Grave of the fireflies. Since then Aran always checks the summary before they start watching.

·      Omimi has very little interest in movies. He's just there for company and food. So when its his turn to choose he googles '100 best movies of all time' and picks a title that sounds interesting.

·      They bring all the pillows, blankets, and plushies and make a pillow fort.

·      Akagi constantly comments. He can make watching movies difficult.

·      Kita always points out mistakes and plot holes. He's also very focused. Even if the movie is boring and/or nonsensical he can perfectly summarise it at the end.

·      Aran and Omimi tend to cry at emotional scenes to the point that Akagi makes bets with Kita if the movie will move them to tears.

·      Omimi doesn't want to admit it, but he really enjoys Akagi's turn-off-your-brain movies. He also notes the titles of movies he enjoyed.

·      Aran brings cookies (half of them are missing before the movie even starts).

·      Omimi accidentally bought sweet instead of salted popcorn once when they were 2nd years and Akagi still hasn't forgiven him.

·      once they made pizza, put it into oven, started watching a movie, forgot about it and almost burned the house down. Needles to say, the movie choice was good.  

·      After movie ends they usually fall asleep right there in the pillow fort.

a/n: off topic, but this is my first birthday since i’ve joined the writing community? i view all my requests / asks as little gifts, so writing this made me extra happy today 💕 thank you for sending me a request! i didddd write a little extra for you 😃 so they’re not really headcanons? idk

SUNA was pouting, slowly sinking into the couch as he replayed today’s game in his head. he wished he didn’t slack off at the end, because maybe his team would have won if he tried his best the entire time. but how was he supposed to know that?

“i’m tired, y/n,” he mumbles, leaning further into the couch as you worriedly look at him. “rin, you did well! i’m always proud of you.” even with your words, he looks uninterested, closing his eyes to relax a little more. he felt a weight plop down on his lap, but he kept them shut, silently hoping that you’d just let him be— until he felt a gentle pair of lips on his. unfortunately, you pull back as soon as he opens his eyes, sheepishly apologizing if you ‘scared’ him, and that you “got carried away because he looked so cute!” already tired of hearing you ramble, he pulls you back into his chest, lazily mumbling a “if i did so well, then you should give me more.”

ATSUMU rambles a lot. whether it’s about an annoying opponent he faced in volleyball, a rant about how mean osamu is, he doesn’t seem to take a breath when he goes. today, specifically, he was going on and on about how stressed he was for his upcoming game — spewing out lines of his insecurities as a setter.

“‘tsumu. tsuuumu,” you finally say, standing up to face atsumu. his expression doesn’t change, or he doesn’t hear you, because he continues as if you never said anything. you let out a sigh, before stepping forward to press a kiss against his lips, resulting in a muffled noise of surprise from atsumu, who took a few seconds to finally return the action and wrap his arms around your middle. he pulls away too soon, just to blurt out “how rude, y/n!”

RISEKI is an overthinker. when he thinks of one thing that could potentially wrong, it spirals into an infinite list of things that can go wrong. today was one of those days. he dug himself a hole, now feeling anxious about attending practice. he was still talking, so you reach up and cup his face— making him pause as a blush immediately begins to appear on his cheeks.

“riseki, you’re cute!” you chime, going on your toes to press a kiss against his lips. you weren’t sure if this actually helped, because he started stuttering out incoherent sentences instead, face brightening into a shade of red as he covers his face with the back of his hand.

KITA can stay focused for hours, only stopping for food or bathroom breaks. you’re left feeling touch-starved, so you crawl towards his seated position on the bed as he types away, ignoring your movements as he tries to finish up a paper. you scooted a little closer and closed your eyes to quickly press a kiss to his cheek, but you felt a pair of lips instead. opening your eyes in confusion, kita simultaneously pulls you into his lap, looking at your face with a gentle smile as he tucked a few stands of hair behind your ear.

“i’ll take a break for you, y/n.”

ARAN gets overwhelmed easily. the stress from wanting to spike atsumu’s sets well, the fights between the twins, his schoolwork, and everything else became too much. he was listing off all of his worries without a thought, sentence coming to an abrupt stop as you press your lips into his hand, looking up at him with your best puppy eyes. “relax, aran?”

aran didn’t realize that he needed out a shaky exhale, but he nervously nods, beginning to apologize for going on a rant. he isn’t even sure where to thank you when you start massaging his shoulders, telling him just how amazing you think he is.

when AKAGI talks, he changes topics quickly without realizing. it started with how practice went today, and now— he’s on the verge of tears as he spills out his insecurities as a libero.

he never took a breath to collect his thoughts, so you do it for him— pulling him into a tight embrace and pressing a kiss to his collarbone area. the gentle kiss seems to pull him out of his thoughts, and he apologizes profusely while returning your hug and quickly pressing his own kiss into the top of your head.

GIN was passionate about volleyball. when he speaks about a play he saw and how badly he wants to do it, the conversation sometimes veers into an entirely different one— now about how he’s hit a wall and can’t seem to improve anymore.

unable to listen to his insecurities for any longer, you roughly pull him downwards by the front of his shirt, capturing him a heated kiss. he takes a few seconds to return it— but kisses you back with even more passion. he was pretty sure that he wanted to release his pent up feelings like this from now on.

OMIMI had been alarmingly quiet today. the two of you would often spend time together after practice, cuddling and watching a show while talking about your day. but he hasn’t said a word, and was staring off into space. so, you tap his shoulder, quickly pressing a kiss into his forehead as soon as he turns around. his eyes widen a little in surprise, before snaking his arms around your waist to gently place you in his lap.

“sorry y/n, i was feeling distracted. do you want a proper one?”

OSAMU looked really mad. maybe atsumu stole another one of his jackets, but he was fuming. you weren’t sure why he decided to come over in the first place, but you wanted to cheer osamu up a little. hesitantly, you slowly pick up one of his hands, earning his attention in return. you press a kiss into his knuckle and look at him with pleading eyes, hoping for a hug or anything at all. “‘samu, you o-okay?”

his eyebrows furrow slightly at your nervous stutters, and he moves his arm to pull you closer, cupping your face to make you look back up at him. “yeah, just stay.”

KENMA noticed your necklace as soon as you sat beside him to watch him play video games. he’s in the middle of a livestream, but he’s unable to mask his surprise when he sees his name engraved in the necklace. his chat is flooding with new comments from confused viewers, and he has to tear his eyes from it before his reaction is even more embarrassing. he’s muttering things like “you didn’t have to,” but there’s a blush plastered on his cheeks as he hides his face in his knees and tries to resume his game.

ARAN always makes sure that the first thing he says to you is a new compliment. when he first sees you, his eyes stop halfway up when he notices your necklace. it takes him a second to understand, and he’s lifting it with a curious glint in his eyes. “these letters are my initials right?” he continues to examine it, in disbelief that you wore something for him. you eagerly nod, and his attention shifts back to you. there’s a pause, and he’s still looking at it.

“i love you,” aran confessed, letting go of the necklace to grasp your hand instead. for the entirety of the date, he’s sneaking glances at it, turning back around with a gentle smile on his face.

KONOHA didn’t realize until a few hours into your date. he was walking beside you with your hand in his, and when you spoke, he kept glancing at the necklace bouncing against your chest as you moved around. brushes it off as just another one of your accessories, but the lettering on it caught his eye. he turns back, a little too quickly, and startles you in the process.

konoha is directly in front of you, bending down to stare deeply at your necklace. “you’re kidding,” he says, and his cheeks are turning red with a deepening blush. abruptly moves his hands from your shoulders as he realizes how odd his current position looks to the people passing by. for the rest of the date, he’ll break eye contact mid sentence to give it a glance, as if the lettering would go away if he didn’t continue checking it.

KITA noticed it right away. when you ask what he thinks of it, he’s looking away when he says “it looks good on you, y/n.” his eyes will continue to trail downwards to the necklace throughout the day.

when the two of you are cuddling, he’s fiddling with your necklace. sometimes he’ll hold it just to see his name on it, and he’s smiling to himself again.

USHIJIMA wants one as well, but he’s not sure how to ask. he stands there awkwardly still, just looking at it. thinks he’s supposed to have one, so he waits for you to buy him a matching one with your name on it. he wears it outside of his games, and when he’s playing, it’s sitting safely on his bench for good luck.

OMIMI gives your head a gentle pat as he thanks you softly. he already had something similar at his home— a small photo of the two of you, along with one of your accessories beside it. thinks it’s cute that you were so excited to show him your necklace.

SUGAWARA wants one too! he noticed it after pulling you into a hug, because it got tangled into one of his buttons. when he read his name on it, he asked you where you bought one. from then on, you and sugawara suddenly had matching keychains, phone cases, and necklaces. one of his students questioned why he kept touching his necklace, and he replied with “ah sorry— it reminds me of someone special.”

okay so actually you ended being the manager because the girls volleyball team had already closed the application time

so you you were really looking forward to it and omg you were so sad about it

after being rejected, you were just peacefully going through the gym and you heard laughter from a bunch of guys

you recognized kosaku since he was in your class and waved at him.

and so, they were talking about getting a manager since this team is pretty much a lot to handle

and so since kosaku knew you were hard working and that the first idea that popped out oh his head was that if you wanted to try out.

“A SETTER” atsumu jumped of his seat and had to be scolded by aran who was also surprised by the position you were going to be playing.

behind them was a couple of guys, who apparently did not know how lower their comments.

“the setter is kinda cute” “wow look at that” oml please even aran who was the voice of reason had the urge to punch them in the face.

still they decided to just focus on your game who has now been started. and even tho they wanted to not do it, they couldn’t help analyzing you and your moves in the court. it was natural, well because they were players and very good ones it’s inevitable for them to compare and to study the way you played more than anything.

they were not expecting you to be this good. almost everything in your technique was polished, your tema work was remarkable and god bless your ability to read the blockers.

but there was a moment when they just saw the panoramic view of your skills. atsumu could see your tired expression, the sweat on your body, he just knew you were feeling now the adrenaline of the last moments of the set.

still you yelled a “we will take it” and then, with the others team hope hanging on a thread, the ball came to your libero, which perfectly passed the ball to you.
