Again, this was a commission for @i-am-as-normal-as-you-are and they asked for angst/funny vibes... I think it's mostly just angst though. Oh, well...

Eesh. That was some intense storytelling in that NC scene. The music conveys it's intensely emotional, but it's not happy, sweet, or even sexy music. The lighting is always telling a story in this show. There's a lot of shadows in this scene.

Phu is definitely not in the right mental state for this act, and they're mismatched. Phu desperately wants it, but only because he's desperately trying to keep Cir in his life. Cir is trying to convey that he cares about Phu. He tells Phu that he's the only one. But that line can be interpreted in multiple ways. I can't tell what he whispered.

Their emotions and mindsets are in different places, just like the music that's running all over the place.

We've got a finger in the mouth, but it's more like Cir forcefully entering Phu's life and Phu not being able to speak his thoughts. Note - I'm not saying this was dubcon. It's not. I'm talking symbolism of mental states.

And don't even get me started on that red lamp in the background. Red can go multiple ways in these scenes. But combined with the music and tonal shift, this one's bleeding. Phu's in pain (emotionally and mentally).
