We were robbed of a Hueso Jr. episode because good god I need he and Leo to interact.

I can just imagine an episode where a very busy Hueso has no choice but to ask Leo to babysit, and Leo’s like heck yeah I’d rock at that.

And of course Hueso is constantly like oh god what if something goes wrong that’s PEPINO he left with his CHILD.

So continuously throughout the episode he imagines the worst case scenarios for what could possibly be happening.

Every time Hueso imagines another catastrophic scenario the scene cuts back to Leo and Hueso Jr just calmly watching a movie or playing a game or something else equally as innocuous.

Eventually the worry gets to Hueso so much that he cuts his business short and races back home to see -

A peacefully sleeping Hueso Jr smiling as he lays snuggled up next to a shockingly quiet Leonardo.

He’s pleasantly surprised, and agrees to ask for Leo again next time he needs a babysitter.

Or, as it seems he may need to, when Hueso Jr. wants Leo to visit.

I know 'person with secret to hide spots other person with secret to hide but doesn't say anything' is like. Thee trope in superhero crossovers, but come on! Some of these guys have been doing this for decades! There's tons of heroes that have gone to pretty extreme lengths to be Completely Imperceptible in civilian life.

Don't you think it's scarier, after all is said and done, to sit there and think I didn't notice a thing? I wouldn't have ever realised? I would never have known? To know that someone you were familiar with - close with, even! - had this whole other personality and skillset and powers and experiences and life just behind the curtain, and they hid it so completely you didn't even see it was there.

'I always knew there was something off' what if you didn't. How world shaking would it be to be so utterly blindsided? To know that this person had somehow learned to so deceptive?

#Strongly inspired by the dp x dc where Danny knows what up IMMEDIATELY or a bat clocks Danny as super suspicious within mins of meeting #Or the amount of reveal fics caused by the hero slipping up in some stupid way and getting themselves doxxed against their will #Like come on!! Full time heroes like superman or batman or Spidey go to great lengths to construct an entirely separate civilian persona!#And yes I know they've had their idiot moments when it comes to their identities but they've kept their secret rock solid for irl DECADES #What's an identity reveal without drama!! Shake it up! Stir the pot! Not a slow and gradual build up of suspicion and stress #But two high speed trains coming at right-angles and the audience is the only one who can see the incoming crash #Twist the knife in if you want. Make it HURT. Make it completely rewrite what they believed.#Short ID reveals are great for this because you can SEE the ripple effects spreading out as the story ends. Just BANG.#But also no ID reveal at all. The main character goes through the story regularly interacting with and developing character right alongside #A hero in hiding and no one is ever the wiser. You're a worker in WE fending off attempts to steal your inventions and Bruce Wayne #Invites you to his office to discuss security and he walks you back to your office when you get nervous about a break in.#You're struggling with school bullies and getting into trouble over your photography hobby and Peter Parker is right there alongside #You complaining about rich kids and fiddling with the outdated finicky lenses you got from the school.#You're a reporter unpicking a mystery scandal and you ask resident tank Clark Kent if he's able to play bodyguard if you go somewhere shady #The reader knows. No one else notices a thing.#And besides focusing on the civilian side is a nice change of pace! cool so my ent just made my ear bleed. im never going back to see her again.

#purrs #i go in every 3 weeks to get my ears cleaned out bc i have chronic issues including w*x build up and she was SO fucking aggressive. i saw #her for all of TWO FUCKING MINUTES and she didn’t even bother to look before she started trying to clean and she was really rough with the #instrument and really hurt my one bad ear taking out the w*x and i was asking her questions about flying and she was completely dismissing #me and shutting me down and telling me to put mineral oil drops or debrox in my ear when SHE is the one who told me earlier not to put any #liquid in my ears. and i was in her chair for all of two minutes and when she left i realized MY FUCKING EAR WAS BLEEDING because she was so #aggressive with the tool she abraded the skin and didn’t even care to check if my ear was clear or bleeding or whatever after she left. im #so fucking angry and in pain. what the FUCK. you are my ent. you KNOW i have chronic issues in that ear specifically. can you not be slow a #and gentle when you see me. can you not give me more than five minutes of your time when i only see you every THREE MONTHS. i just am so #angry and distraught. fuck her and fuck that entire office. it’s so unpleasant being there i am fucking done.#ask to tag #like can you not be delicate. yesterday sucked so bad it was the longest day ever I cried at work and I slept like a rock bc I was so exhausted and then today I woke up and it was literally like. the sun is shining the birds are chirping it feels like fall I made birthday plans with my best friend for march that I'm so excited for the thing that was stressing me out so bad yesterday at work is fixed and over with and everybody is telling me I did well with it even though it felt like I did not in the moment AND I my adoption application was accepted at one of the shelters I applied to so I got invited to their adoption event to meet their dogs tomorrow AND I'm seeing hozier in a week and two days and that does not feel real but also it actually hit for properly for the first time today :) how the tables have turned oh and ALSO I'm watching a horror movie with emma tonight and last night I think it would have killed me bc I was so tired and empty by the time I got home but today I am Hyped for it

#i'm good at my job and usually the stuff I'm doing doesn't get to me but yesterday TWO solutions to the problem I've been dealing w all week #didn't end up being solutions at all bc first year college students suck so bad. and by the time the second one didn't go through #we'd told the student affected that it HAD so we had to walk it back #and i'm on call 24/7 this week so I was so so tired yesterday #and i just wanted to make fix this poor girl's problem and to have to tell her I'd been wrong when I told her it had been fixed....idk #it got to me and i cried which at least finally convinced my supervisor that what id been saying from the beginning was the correct move #and then i fell asleep pretty early and overslept on purpose bc fuck being in the office I needed to recover #and then i helped move a minifridge with a microwave attached to the top up and down four flights of stairs #bc this campus is possibly the least ada compliant space I have Ever been in in my life #and there are NO elevators in any residential buildings except the one that used to be a hotel down the street #anyway. life update ig <3 things are genuinely so so good rn yesterday was Simply a bad day. happens sometimes. glad it's over :)#real life stuff #i should have a tag for that so I can go through once in a while and see what was up when :)

okay. super annoying of a rental company to demand that the only way you can schedule showings is via phone (no online scheduler, no email even) and then repeatedly fail to either get the phone or call back. what the fuck is this. not only do i have to call you once - something i loathe - but now i have to keep calling & calling just to see if this time someone will actually answer??? just let me schedule it onlineeeeee i'm begging youuuuu

#liveblogging life #this one person i've been literally trying to contact for one (1) week #and every time i call i get her voicemail #i've left her a voicemail!!! twice!!!!#i do think she must be out of town - she's changed her voicemail message to reflect that she won't be around once or twice #but my god this is so annoying lol this is why you need an alternate way to allow people to set these showings up #and i tried calling an office i've already done showings with and want to do more at a few other buildings #and despite the fact that they're listed as open today zero answers both times. what the fuck.#anyway i get it i am not the center of the universe but um. it's still very irritating considering how little i enjoy making calls to begin #in other news the church apartments were SO beautiful and SO expensive and i'm SO sad i cant rent one lmao #if they'd had one like 100 dollars cheaper i wouldve done it on the spot theyre really cool apartments

there was one time I was chillin' on the roof at work, waiting for the person I was helping to return with tools, and I noticed that right along the edge of the roof where I was sitting... were cat footprints! not entirely sure how the cat had gotten UP there, but we had similar ideas of a good place to sit for a minute. nice.

#there's not a lot of flat roof what with the greenhouses and office building. just that one weird little area.#we have to access it by climbing out a window lmao #at my parents' house there's an angled/shingle roof my brother and I used to climb out a window to sit on and stargaze #before the town put up that darn street light. :I #anyway! sitting on the roof is fun. 👍
