Once again thinking about @one-idea "the whitebeard pirates get a pregnancy scare because they assume shit" with female ace and Sabo.
Especially on how the misunderstanding gets resolved, with them attacking the guy that broke their little sisters heart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Meanwhile, Marco is suffering from the thought of ace as a more or less nurturing mother and that his co- doctor has less braincells than he first thought. )

I had a thought earlier this afternoon when I was out, about who are the best dancers of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Izou and Marco were at the top (This phoenix likes when Marco dances cause birds do mating dances).
Ace is in middle but I can see him moving to high middle.
Thatch is at the bottom with two left feet. While Thatch has amazing footwork when he's fighting but as soon as he's dancing with someone he suddenly has two left feet.
Top - Izou, Marco, Whitey, Tate, Vista, Haurta, Rayuyo,
Middle - Ace, Whitebeard in his youth/healthy, Fossa, Blenheim, Kingdew, Speedy Jiru
Bottom - Thatch, Joza, Namur, Blamenco, Curiel, Atmos,
I only did the commanders with Whitey and Tate. I did think about putting Oden, Toki and the some of the spade pirates on it but decided not.

One Piece — "Justice will prevail? Of course it will!!"
From Volume 57 - Chapter 556 / Season 8 Episode 465. Atmos is trying to kill Doflamingo, and danger surrounds the Warlord on every side. He is not afraid. In fact, he is so nonchalant that he doesn't need to focus on fighting at all. Instead, he parades Atmos around, and boasts about his nihilistic view of this Paramount War.

We weren't able to get a quote from Apoo, as his party was already underway and the music was too loud and, frankly, dangerous.

The Oxygen Breathers: Sales Pitch
It wasn't until Late Summer Storm was being strapped into the small human ship that he realized that it was really really happening. Sure, he had seen the extremely small ships the humans had brought out to show off; a resurrection of a very old design, they said. And sure, he had noticed that one of them had two seats instead of one. They had said that one was for training or ride alongs, would he like to try it out? And sure, in a moment sans sanity, Late Summer Storm had agreed to the ride.
That as going to be it, right? They'd find some incompatibility, or there would be some political fallout and he wouldn't have to go. Face would be saved by all.
But no. The humans were so excited about the prospect they - to use one of their own strange idioms - 'moved heaven and earth' to make it happen.
First was political. Summer had hoped that Innari high command would balk at the idea of one of their own being wedged into a prototype human ship, but to his dismay, they were excited about the idea. They were so excited in fact that several members of the Isolators had paid him a visit and informed him in no uncertain terms that he was to be cooperative, polite, and above all, interested in what he was being shown. Interested enough to recall it, and write a report on the state of humanity's technology. His feathers fluttering nervously at a visit from the secret police, Summer agreed. He would report back on what he learned about their singleship, the one they called a fighter.
Next was logistical. Innari don't breath the same gas mixture as humans. It's not as dramatic a difference as say, the Von, who have much more methane hexafluoride in their breathing gas, but humanity's breathing mixture has frankly an irresponsible amount of oxygen in it. Oxygen narcosis occurs for Innari who breathe human concentrations and pressures of oxygen, and they die shortly after. The Innari medical community has published research papers stating that they are pretty sure that the humans suffer from oxygen narcosis too, they're just... used to it. 'Fortunately' for Summer, the human fighters had plumbing and fittings for hardsuits and supplemental breathing gas. Summer would wear a pressure suit and bring a atmosphere generator and his human pilot would do the same.
When the appointed day arrived, Summer stood in the too bright lights of the ship bay of the human Nullship Kon-Tiki. His pressure suit - a brand new one, printed up by the Innari navy, tailored and form fitted to his body - felt heavy and squeezed his feathers uncomfortably because of their higher gravity and atmo pressure.
Among the human workers bustling around without pressure suits - or really that much in the way of clothing either - someone walked in wearing a heavily armored pressure suit. Made of segmented pieces of reinforced coropolymer, they looked like they were headed to the front lines of a war, not a joyride.
"Late Summer Storm?" The voice said over his radio. He could speak their language, but he had his suit translate with subtitles in the bottom of his vision. It helped when they got going and spoke too quickly, or used some obscure idiom that needed translation. They translator also helped with body language. "I'm Captain Meghan Delrin, I'll be piloting today." They saluted sharply, and Summer noticed how maneuverable their suit was, even though it was quite heavily armored.
"Thank you, Captain. Please, call me Summer. My full name is unnecessary now." He said, turning to look at the fighter. "I am... interested in our upcoming flight."
"Are you now?" Captain Delrin laughed. Summer was surprised at the sound. He hadn't heard a human laugh before. The staccato pulses of sound were much different than the more musical Innari laughter. "You look like you're on your way to a funeral."
Summer's eyes flicked down to the translator for help with the phrase. She thinks you look despondent it said, helpfully. "Oh, please don't misunderstand Captain. I am grateful for the opportunity and I am excited to learn what your fighters can do, it's just..." He struggled for the word in their language. "Scary." That was probably closest.
To Summer's surprise Captain Delrin lifted her glass face covering, revealing her own face squeezed tightly in the foam of her helmet, surrounded by wires and blinking lights. He had no idea they were crammed into their suits so tightly! They moved so fluidly he had assumed their suits were much more loose fitting. "Summer, I want to make this crystal clear. We are doing everything within out power to make sure that this flight goes without incident and is even boring, but-" she raised a gauntleted finger "-we're scared too. If we weren't, we would run the risk of making mistakes. Scared is good. Scared means you're careful." The glass folded back down. "Come on, Summer, Let's get seated and belted."
The fighter was so small that there wasn't a door, per se. The clear canopy slid open and flipped up, revealing the two seats, side by side. Captain Delrin sat on the left, and Summer's seat was on the right. His seat was filled with pieces of closed cell foam, to fill in the gaps and hollow spots making up the differences between their bodyplans. Summer had spent a few hours in the fitting room with some very terse engineers sitting down and standing up, sitting down and standing up, until they were satisfied. As he sat, the seat was comfortable and he was belted in by more engineers. When they were finished, they looked at him for confirmation. He nodded and made the gesture he was taught - his outer manipulators and sensory feathers curled around into a fist, except for one pointing straight up. The human returned the gesture, saluted, and backed down the ladder.
As Captain Delrin was belted in, she had been pressing buttons and flipping switches. The fighter began to hum and throb as it came to life, motors rising in pitch and maneuvering jets puffing. Summer's sense of balance was thrown off for a moment, and then it recovered. "What was that?" he asked as Captain Delrin continued to start the fighter.
"Gyro" she said without stopping. "We can spin the ship for free with it. Good for tracking targets and maneuvering. Why? Did you feel it?"
Summer nodded, and then realizing she wouldn't be able to see the gesture said "Yes, I felt it. Is it magnetic?"
"It is suspended in a mag field, but the gyro itself is not, why?"
"We're sensitive to electromagnetism. It was how our ancient ancestors navigated our world."
"Huh. That makes sense I guess." She said, looking at him now. "Will it be an issue?"
"I don't know" Summer said. "But, I don't think it's enough of a reason to stop the ride."
"Fair enough."
Eventually they were warmed up and at power, and a small tug wheeled them to the launch tube. Captain Delrin explained that during a battle, the fighters could be launched every few minutes "But the ride is rough" she added.
Summer wondered what 'rough' was to a human when he heard the launching clamps grab the ship. Captain Delrin looked to an officer on the side, saluted, they returned the salute, and they launched.
Much later, Summer had to watch the video playback to see the launch. The fighter was shot out of the Nullship at a withering five gees. Captain Delrin grunted and took sharp breaths but was otherwise unharmed as Summer regained consciousness. "You made it Summer! Glad to have you with us once again." Delrin said, laughing. "We made it a light launch in deference to you. Normally we launch at twenty gee with the compensator set to ten."
"These fighters have a compensator and you didn't activate it?" Summer's whole body ached from the launch.
"What fun would that be? You have to feel some of the forces, it keeps you honest. Now then." Delrin flipped some switches and the color of her screens changed. "Let's see what we can see."
They spent the next solar hour flying around, showing Summer what the fighter was capable of. He had to admit, the maneuverability of the teeny ship was impressive. "But why?" he finally asked.
"Why what?"
"Why-" he gestured at the console "-all this. You have your Nullships, and they are more heavily armed than one of our Battlecruisers. They can travel farther, faster, and hit harder than anything in the Coalition. Why do you need fighters?"
Delrin reduced the throttle until they were practically coasting relative to the Nullship. "That's a good observation Summer. We have a few reasons. One, fighters will help us to engage multiple targets at once. The Coalition knows that our Nullships are powerful, so if they were ever to attack us, they would come at us en mass. A swarm of less powerful ships could overwhelm our targeting, and could do damage. Fighters could engage them, and divide their efforts."
Summer nodded to himself. His own government had decided that If anyone were to attack the humans, a swarm of a huge number of ships was just about the only way to have any chance of success.
"The second reason, is we're hoping to sell them." Delrin said matter-of-factly.
"You're what?" Summer stared dumbfounded. He couldn't have heard that correctly.
"We're going to offer them up for sale. The Coalition's defenses are woefully underdeveloped. Something like this is just what they need to help defend themselves.
"You'll give the other Coalition peoples weapons?"
"Not for free, but yes, why not?"
"It's just..." The Innari never shared technology. The idea of such a thing was too dangerous. Sell a weapon today, and tomorrow it could be turned back onto you. "What if the people who buy it use it against you?"
"That could happen, yes." Delrin said thoughtfully. "But history shows us it probably won't. Fighters aren't standalone things. They need parts, maintenance, upgrades, ships to haul them, printable matter, all kinds of ancillaries. If someone buys from us and then attacks..." She shrugged. "They'll find it very hard to keep their new fighters supplied and maintained. Also-" She looked out of the canopy into space. "It would be nice to have an opponent that was more our speed."
Summer was sure she was just playing a trick on him now. "Ha ha, sure thing Captain Delrin. You're telling me that you want to fight?"
"No Summer, we want to fight a good opponent. Someone who thinks on their feet, has close to our level of training and technology, someone who makes it worth while. Do you remember when you came to us and asked for our help? How we brought our ships out of Nullspace and defeated the Felimen almost instantly? It was boring."
"Boring?!"
"Boring. I was on one of the Nullships, Summer. It was practically a drill. People didn't even run. Didn't have to. We slipped out of Null, shot up a few Felimen cruisers, did a little light planetary bombardment, and slipped back into Null."
Summer was stunned into silence. The Felimen were a fierce enemy that had driven all of the Coalition people back for more than a year, winning battle after battle, claiming more and more space until the humans traded entry into the Coalition for defeating the Felimen.
It took the humans one solar day.
"If we sell some fighters to some of the Coalition who knows? Maybe in a few decades or centuries we'll finally get a good battle. Something really worth going all our for." Delrin said, wistfully. She really sounded like she wanted all out war.
Delrin took them through some more high gee manuvers - with the compensator turned on this time - and demonstrated the weapons; two missile racks, two slug throwers, one exawatt laser and enough printable matter to keep them in consumables for an impressive amount of time. She had fired at some drone targets that the Nullship had launched, and even let Summer have a go at the weapons suite. She ordered a new wave sent out and Summer took over. It was intuitive, and easy to use, and frighteningly effective. As the last drone evaporated in an orange puff of exploding missile Summer looked down at his hands. He had - without any official training - destroyed more targets quicker than any Innari ship he could think of, and this was just a single human fighter!
The demonstration over, Captain Delrin took them back in. The landing was more gentle than the launch, but only just. As they rolled to a stop, the canopy popped open and Delrin's face mask opened again.
"So! How many fighters can we put you down for?"

This is my first time requesting for arcane but, can you write an Ekko x male! reader (fem or Gender neutral is fine if you can't write for male readers) where the reader is really sweet and gentle. They like to forage, bake/cook for Ekko, make toys for the kids of zaun, painting, drawing, and craft stuff like clay rings, mugs, pottery, and make clothes as well.
It can be an imagine or headcanons, I don't mind either way.
author's note: hi! I don't write male readers, but I do write gender-neutral so I hope that's okay! I actually thought this request was super cute and I loved the idea! Hope you enjoy and thank you so much for requesting!
Tumblr media
Someone who is sweet and also artistic/crafty is going to be the perfect partner for Ekko. (Not kidding, this young man deserves all the love in the world!)
I imagine you being a part of the Firelights for a few years before Ekko gained the courage to ask you out.
Don't get me wrong, he had a crush on you way before that!
He saw something special in you the day you joined - the way you carried yourself, the little splatter of paint on your shirt, the big bag of art materials you brought with you, the way you warmly smiled at the kids and they took an immediate liking to you - it all made him look at you in a different light from everyone else.
However, having lost so many people in his life, he didn't want to risk catching feelings. So despite the initial attraction, he did keep his distance at first. He was a good leader, always making sure to check on you and ask how are you adjusting to the life as a Firelight, but he also always seemed to keep the conversations short and polite.
Ekko always had his eye on you - whenever he heard your melodic laugh or children screaming in joy (because they always did when you were around), his head whipped in your direction almost instinctively.
Because of your wide range of skills, especially when it comes to crafting things, it didn't take long for you to become everyone's favourite - you often build toys for the kids and played with them in your free time, which is why all of them got attached to you pretty quickly. When someone needed their clothes fixed or wished for a change of their usual 'uniform', they always came to you.
The man was a bit taken aback at first - he kept seeing everyone, including Scar, coming with new jackets, shirts, and even masks, yet he didn't seem to know how and where they got it from. Once he learned it was in fact you making them, he couldn't help but smile - so you were quite the crafty person, huh?
He came a few days later with his ruined jacket (he may or may have not actually ruined it on purpose), asking you to fix it. As he was the leader, you spent all afternoon sewing, so he could have it ready for the mission the next day. When you gave it to him during dinner, he was both surprised and also amazed - not only did you fix it quickly, but you also made it better by adding some details to it.
(Needless to say this became his favourite piece of clothing ever! It was also not the last time he came to you, asking you to 'fix' his clothes...)
That evening was the first time the realisation he might like you in a different way than every other member hit him like a ton of bricks.
And it did scare him! So much, so that he made it almost his mission to avoid you. Every time you entered a room, he quickly excused himself, and if by chance you caught him looking at you, he would quickly turn around, the tips of his ears going a few shades darker.
His plan didn't work that well, however, as you being one of the few people who can draw/paint, you were assigned to work on the wall mural. He had to supervise the work and therefore interact with you, and to be honest, it was quite awkward for a bit.
I imagine you would notice his weird behaviour, but would not address it as you were not sure why he was giving you mixed "hot & cold" signals. You would continue treating him like usual and eventually, after a few days of tense atmosphere between you (and also a bit of 'scolding' from Scar), he would apologize and actually relax around you.
Ekko is funny, loving, protective, kind, passionate, and a man that I cannot imagine anyone NOT falling in love with. So probably it did take you embarrassingly short time to catch feelings for him.
He may be a bit slow when it comes to his own feelings and emotions, but he is very good when it comes to reading everyone else's. So when you made him a special mug for his birthday and gave to him while your face looked like it was about to explode, he put 2+2 together.
This is when flirting Ekko unlocks and - PHEW! - this man has no mercy!
He loves to tease you just so he can see you as a flustered mess. While he is very confident as a leader and fighter, he still think it's unreal that you can catch feelings for someone like him - he comes with so much emotional baggage, that he cannot really understand what do you see in him.
(Not that he is complaining, because once he asks you out and you say 'yes', he doesn't plan to EVER let you go!)
Once you are together, he would always organise fun dates including crafting or making stuff - either he will teach you how to make tech stuff in his workshop or you will teach him how to make clay rings, dishes and pottery.
He loves how gifted you are and would often tease you by asking you: "Is there anything you can’t do?"
Very proud of you and the fact that you are his partner! He usually likes to keep his private matters to himself, but if he has a drink or two, EVERYONE is hearing about how skilled you are, how every body loves you (especially him) and how lucky he is to have you not only in his life, but also living in the Firelight base.
Speaking of living, despite the relationship progressing slowly, he would practically make you move in to his room just a few months after getting together. He loves going to sleep and waking up by his side and while usually you were staying with him only occasionally, he will have a long chat with you of the benefits to share a room.
"C'mon, don't you want to sleep in the leader's bed? Hey, hey, I'm kidding! But seriously, you come here almost every night and I do sleep better when you are by my side, so why not?"
Watching you interact with the kids in the base and even in Zaun has to be his absolute weak spot. He can never hide his smile and dreamy gaze when he watches you giving them new gifts/toys and he falls in love even deeper every time he sees you hug them and stroke their heads lovingly.
His other weak spot has to be your cooking! (The way to a man's heart is through his stomach after all!) He is pretty good cook himself, so dates in the kitchen are a pretty often occurrence for you.
Still, he can never match your skill when it comes to baking and desserts and he loves when you spoil him by making his favourite cakes/sweet food. He loves to watch you cooking, often sitting on the table and quietly sipping his tea, while observing you.
The Firelights love you as a couple and are happy it is you by Ekko's side - he suffered a lot and has been alone the majority of his life, so he deserves all the love and happiness you can offer.

Babysitting and Training
➥ summary: Peter asks Miguel and (Y/n) to watch Mayday for him
➥ Miguel O’Hara x Reader
➥ a/n: This is so random, lol this just came to me honestly :) also mayday is aged up by a few years I’ll say the oldest being 3 or 4
Tumblr media
Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, was facing a predicament. He needed someone to watch over his daughter, Mayday, while he attended to some pressing superhero duties. He turned to his friends Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099) and (Y/n) Williams, also known as Spider Lily, for help.
"Guys, I really need a favor," Peter said, a touch of desperation in his voice. "MJ doesn't want Mayday going out on missions yet, and I can't take her with me. Can one of you watch her for a few hours?"
Miguel, who was in the middle of analyzing a complex algorithm on his holographic screen, looked up with a sigh. "Sorry, Peter, but I'm swamped with work here. I can't take time off right now."
(Y/n), however, gave Miguel a playful nudge, offering a reassuring smile to Peter. "Don't worry, Peter. We'll definitely watch Mayday. We can take a few hours off from our superhero duties."
Miguel raised an eyebrow, turning to (Y/n) with skepticism. "Are you sure about this? We can't just drop everything for babysitting duty."
(Y/n) closed her eyes momentarily, her aura exuding a sense of danger that made Miguel flinch. Despite her sweet smile, there was an unmistakable warning in her voice when she spoke. "Yes, we will, won't we, Miguel?"
The hint of danger in her voice left no room for argument, and Miguel quickly nodded, feeling a little uneasy but not wanting to provoke (Y/n) further. "Right, of course. We'll watch Mayday."
Peter breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for their help. "Thank you both so much. I'll drop her off at your place in a few minutes."
(Y/n) chuckled, her demeanor returning to its usual lighthearted self. "No problem, Peter. We'll make sure she's in safe hands."
As Peter left to prepare Mayday for her time with (Y/n) and Miguel, the two superheroes shared a glance. Miguel couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and apprehension towards (Y/n). Her powers as Spider Lily were fascinating, but he knew firsthand that she had a formidable and dangerous side when provoked.
(Y/n), on the other hand, turned to Miguel with a teasing grin. "Come on, Miguel. Babysitting can't be that bad. Plus, Mayday is adorable!"
Miguel chuckled, appreciating her positivity. "You're right. And we've handled worse threats before, so babysitting should be a piece of cake."
As Mayday arrived, Peter thanked them again and assured them that he wouldn't be long. (Y/n) and Miguel waved him off, both feeling a mix of excitement and responsibility. It wasn't often they got to spend time with a young superhero in training.
•••
As Peter brought Mayday to Miguel and (Y/n), the young girl clung tightly to her father, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Daddy, I don't want to stay here. I want to be with you!"
Peter crouched down to Mayday's level, trying to comfort her. "I know, sweetie, but I need to go on a mission to protect the city. I promise I'll be back later to pick you up."
Mayday's cries persisted, and (Y/n) stepped forward, offering a reassuring smile. "Hey, Mayday, don't worry. We'll have so much fun together. I'll make sure you have a great time while your dad is away."
Still teary-eyed, Mayday glanced at (Y/n), her lip quivering. (Y/n) noticed the sadness in the young girl's eyes and knew she needed to distract her. In a playful and enchanting voice, she started to sing:
"Come little children, I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children, the time's come to play
Here in my garden of shadows"
As (Y/n) sang, she began to dance gracefully on a spider web, her movements mesmerizing and filled with the magic of her powers. Mayday's sobs subsided, replaced by curiosity and wonder. Her eyes were drawn to (Y/n)'s dancing, and she started to sway along, captivated by the melody and the magical atmosphere.
(Y/n) continued to sing:
"Follow sweet children, I'll show thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrows
Weep not poor children, for life is this way
Murd'rous but just in its way"
The enchanting melody and (Y/n)'s gentle presence began to soothe Mayday's fears. She reached out and touched the shimmering spider web, smiling through her tears.
"Come little children, I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children, the time's come to play
Here in my garden of shadows"
As (Y/n) finished the song, she knelt down next to Mayday, brushing away the last traces of tears. "You see, Mayday, we can have fun together while your dad is away. We'll go on little adventures and have the best time ever."
Mayday sniffled, still unsure, but the combination of (Y/n)'s caring presence and the magical display had lifted her spirits. "Okay... maybe just for a little while."
(Y/n) beamed, giving Mayday a gentle hug. "That's the spirit! You'll have a blast, I promise."
Peter, witnessing the heartwarming scene, felt a surge of gratitude towards (Y/n) for her ability to comfort his daughter. He gave her a grateful nod before quickly hurrying off to attend to his superhero duties.
•••
As Mayday and (Y/n) played around, their laughter echoed through the room. They spun imaginary webs, practiced swinging, and shared stories of their heroic adventures. But soon, Mayday's excitement waned, and her eyes grew teary again as she thought of her dad.
(Y/n) noticed the change in Mayday's demeanor and exchanged a knowing glance with Miguel. Determined to distract the young girl, Miguel stepped forward and gently took her hand.
"Hey, Mayday, how about we do something really cool? Your dad is an amazing superhero, and I can train you to become a future superhero too!"
Mayday's eyes widened, her tears momentarily forgotten. "Really? You'll train me?"
Miguel nodded with a reassuring smile. "Yup. Just because you can't go on missions with your dad right now doesn't mean you can't start training to be an incredible spider woman."
(Y/n) chimed in, her enthusiasm matching Miguel's. "He's right! We can have our own little training sessions right here, and you'll be ready for action when the time comes."
Mayday's eyes sparkled with newfound excitement, and her tears dried up completely. "I want to learn, just like my dad!"
Miguel and (Y/n) laughed, delighted by Mayday's enthusiasm. They started a makeshift training session, teaching her basic moves and techniques. Mayday followed their instructions eagerly, her determination shining through.
As the training continued, Mayday's confidence grew. She tried out new moves, mimicking her dad's web-swinging and (Y/n)'s graceful acrobatics. Her laughter filled the room again, replaced by excitement and a newfound sense of purpose.
"You're doing great, Mayday!" (Y/n) encouraged, her eyes sparkling with pride. "You're a natural!"
Miguel nodded in agreement. "Keep it up, Mayday! You'll be a hero just like your dad in no time."
As the day went on, Mayday's training sessions with Miguel and (Y/n) became a regular occurrence. They turned each day into an adventure, honing Mayday's skills and inspiring her with stories of heroism and bravery.
With each passing day, Mayday's bond with Miguel and (Y/n) deepened. They became her mentors and confidantes, guiding her on her path to becoming the next generation's spider woman.
As Peter returned to pick up Mayday, he was surprised and touched to see the strong bond that had formed between his daughter and his friends. He watched as Mayday excitedly shared the new moves she had learned, her eyes shining with pride.
"Thank you both for taking care of her and training her," Peter said gratefully to Miguel and (Y/n).
"It's our pleasure," (Y/n) replied, beaming. "Mayday is a natural hero, just like her dad."
Miguel nodded, a sense of fulfillment in his heart. "She's in good hands, Peter. We'll make sure she's ready to take on the world."
With a heartfelt thank you, Peter left with Mayday, knowing that she was in capable hands with Miguel and (Y/n). As they waved him off, Miguel and (Y/n) exchanged a knowing glance. They had found a new purpose, not just as superheroes, but as mentors and protectors for the next generation of heroes.
With each day that passed, Mayday's training continued, and her bond with Miguel and (Y/n) deepened even further. They had become an inseparable team, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. Together, they were shaping the future of heroism and ensuring that the legacy of Spider-Man would live on through the young and courageous Mayday Parker.

Cyclonis and the Cyclonian Royal Family
Aka I gave this girl a family and then had to figure out why so many of them are absent from the show. This was the second most popular option in that poll I posted, so here we go.
Tumblr media
I headcanon Cyclonia to be a matriarchy. Every ruler of the Empire since its founding has been a woman, with rare exceptions when the men take the position of regents for one reason or another. Even if the firstborn of a generation is a boy, they will never have a claim to the throne.
Queen Alyka Prosperis was the second ruler of Cyclonia after its founding as a kingdom. She was gifted the throne by First Queen Marinia, as they were close friends prior to Marinia's death. Since then Alyka's descendants have ruled Cyclonia and its expanding empire in one of the longest-running bloodlines in recorded history. No one is entirely sure who her partner was, who helped father the bloodline.
Master Polaris is a black mark on the royal family's history. Many say she cursed all the men in her family to take the form of monsters, in a fit of jealousy towards her brother Hemlock. Ever since then, the men of Cyclonia's royal family have been sickly and weak.
Cyclonis's great-grandmother is Master Roburis. Originally the youngest of four sisters, Roburis was not expected to rise to power. Then a plague hit Cyclonia, devastating the royal family and leaving her as the last survivor of her sisters. She wasn't a particularly attentive mother to her daughter, Morrigan, and some sources say she's the one to blame for instigating war with the Free Atmos, only to palm off the fallout onto the next generation.
Empress Morrigan Anarchis started her reign with the goal of doing better than her mother. Instead, she lead Cyclonia into a 50 year war that didn't end with her death, and repeated history by handing it off to Cyclonis. There are rumours that she orchestrated the assassination of her own husband and let the Sky Knights take blame for it in an incident that almost killed her only child, Cyclamen. She wasn't particularly popular as a ruler when she died, in fact it was no secret that the public greatly favoured Dark Ace over her.
Delphinium Cyclonis was seen as a symbol of hope for Cyclonia. A chance to finally end the war one way or another, but unfortunately she proved to be just as bullheaded as her grandmother. More concerned with learning new magical secrets and accessing the far side than actually ruling her Empire, it all ended in disaster after Cyclonia Rising. Now her brothers Larkspur and Cardin (Cardin largely belongs to @ashe-alter, thank you for helping me figure out these brothers :3) are struggling to pick up the pieces.

Chapter II: Accidents Happen
After your moment at the bathhouse, things were a little weird, a little off, but you were trying to keep it normal. You’d noticed Mando’s stare lingering on you out of your periphery as you pulled your tank top down over your chest band in the dressing room, you tried not to be excited at that fact.
You always made it a point to wave goodbye to whatever planet you were on when it was time to leave, and each time Mando laughed at you. “Goodbye, Eriadu. I will not be sad to never see you again.”
“Why don’t you go up and get us going and take a break from the helmet. I’ll stay right here, promise.” You hold your pinky up to Mando in offer.
“What’s that?” He points to your pinky stuck out in front of his face.
“It's a pinky promise! You’ve never heard of a pinky promise? Here, look-“ you grab his wrist uncurl his fist, and wrap your small pinky around his larger gloved one.
“Now it’s a pinky promise, I won’t come up and look at you, I’ll stay right here and read my books while you get us out of atmo.”
“..okay..” He shakes his head as he turns to go up the ladder, mumbling to himself.
You shuck off your big ‘work boots’, as you liked to call them, and settle down on the floor with the book you’d brought to keep yourself busy, and a few short minutes later you’re off the ground, headed towards a hyperspace jump and one step closer to.. well that’s the tough part. One step closer to what? Mando had offered for you to stay with him. Travel with him, work for him? That was another thing, you didn’t have any savings- fuck who did? Not enough to live off of, anyway.
Maybe you can just pretend like the whole conversation didn’t happen, and that you didn’t see his dripping wet skin or caress his chest while telling him you’d go with him while there was probably a glob of drool dripping out of your mouth. That’s a long shot.
After about an hour of trying to find a comfortable way to lay on the cold metal floor and read, you hear footsteps above you from the cockpit, Mando descends to the hull, carrying two small ration packs and some wrapped up bread from the inn.
“Can I join you?” He asks and sits down in front of you anyway, as you smile and nod to motion him down.
“So,” he begins, handing you the opened and prepared meal and a piece of bread. You sit up and take it from him, wondering when the last time someone took the time to make sure you ate was, despite the fact that it was just a ration.
“Mando- listen, lemme just stop you right there. I didn’t mean to make you feel weird earlier, I’m sorry. The whole thing was weird, I think I was just off from being disconnected for so long and-“
“Stop.” He lays a hand on your forearm. “I’m sorry. I put you on the spot. But I did mean what I said, I’d like for you to become a more permanent part of my life. I don’t want what happened before to impede our friendship.”
Before. The last time you were close with the Madalorian was a couple years prior to this current extravaganza, and about a full years’ cycle before you met the green baby. He had stopped to re-up on supplies, claiming that he just happened to be near your planet when he decided to stop. You knew he was lying, and this time you were going to make the move, but when you went to his door that night in the small motel in town, you heard a feminine voice from inside. The door cracked open after you had knocked softly, his figure blocked most of the room, but you looked past him to see a twi’lek woman sitting in the corner chair, only a bra covering her top half.
You had nodded and stepped back, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” Turning to leave, when his hand grasped your bicep, wait, but it was too late. The jealousy you felt had confirmed you were already in too deep, so you tugged out of his reach and left.
You had hidden in the bowels of the museum you worked at when he tried to find you the next day, although he surely could’ve and probably did locate you. Thankfully he got the message you didn’t want to be talk. As for the Twi, you thought she was an off-worlder as well, the connection they shared you wanted no part of. And that was that, until he had showed up with the child and put you back at square one.
You take a bite while you think.
“I’d like that too, but I’m not moving in here ‘cause it’s pretty cramped, no offense.” You smirk up at him as you chew, trying to keep things light.
“No, not moving in. But your knowledge of historical sites has proved useful once, I don’t doubt I’ll need your help again on my journey to finding Grogu.”
“Grogu. That’s his name?”
“Yes, he told a friend through her mind when we first met.”
Surprisingly your ear perks more at the reference of a ‘her’ than the telepathic communication.
“Who? .. and how?” You add the last bit mostly to cover your tracks.
“Her name is Ahsoka Tano, another powerful Jedi.” He looks up at you and tilts his head.
“Jedi, I’ve heard that word before. They believe in the force, right?”
“Yes, I don’t know much about the whole thing, but either way they’re training him to use it, and I need him to know, well- that’s beside the point. I just need to see him, is all.” He switches his bread to the other hand. “And you, you might be able to help me with that.”
“I’d be glad to, Mando.” You feel a little guilt for finishing your meal before he’s even gotten to take a bite of his, “Want me to leave so you can eat?”
“Uhm, no, I can just.. well you could turn around if you wanted.”
You nod and grab your book and turn towards the wall, trying to busy yourself as you hear his helmet lift up from his chin.
“How long until Navarro?”
“Only a few more hours.” He says through a bite.
The exchange with Greef Karga went as well as you thought it might. Slightly freighting people, made less so by the presence of Mando, and his few words made you have to be more talkative than usual to make up for his lack of social skills, which Greef seemed to enjoy. He asked your name, your planet, yada, yada, as the Mandalorian sat stoically across the curved booth from you, adding nothing.
The sun was setting as you boarded the Crest, lucky for your circadian rhythm. You watched as Mando calculated the coordinates for the hyperspace jump to your home planet system before heading down into the hull, where your pull out cot awaited you.
Mando pushed the panel that turned off the lights in the hull, crawled into his small space and closed the door, so you assumed that meant goodnight.
“Goodnight.” You whispered into the empty, quiet ship. Save for the lights of the random equipment on the walls, it was completely dark, the white noise of hyperspace flooding your ears. You turn towards the wall and hug your pillow, trying to fall asleep. Just one more night of this, you tell yourself, but it’s fucking hard to fall asleep in places that aren’t your own comfy bed, and you feel like there hasn’t been one descent nights sleep since nearly a month ago. Now that you’re so close to being home again all you can think about is your own bed, holo screen … a fucking toilet and real shower.
You’re close to convincing your brain to fall asleep when you hear a tiny rhythmic squeaking. You slightly sit up and turn over, looking for the source in the dark. Maybe it’s just the ladder or something? You turn back over and try to get comfortable again. Your eyelids are just starting to get heavy.
Louder now.
It’s louder, and you’re definitely back to full consciousness. You sit all the way up and rub your eyes when you hear the quiet groan. Like a ton of bricks in your stomach, the realization of what you’re hearing hits you, and you can’t find the nerve to pretend you’re not.
You focus in on the sound, turning your head towards Mando’s bunk, the squeaking sounds like his bed shifting, but there’s no way he has someone in there.
You silently put one hand down on the floor, then the other, pulling your legs behind you and crawl closer to the door, stopping each time the sounds pause, you’re about five feet away when you begin to pick up some words.
“Fuck, baby yes- fuck me.” Mando’s unfiltered voice penetrates your ears and you swallow, arousal sharp in the pit of your belly. “That’s right, little hole’s so tight for my cock.” He moans and you turn to sit, leaning on the outer wall of his bunk, ear turned towards the door. You imagine him laying on the small cot, sheets balled up underneath him while he fucks his blankets, and you nearly ruin it all by throwing your head back when your fingertips brush over your pubes.
“Ohh, oh my god yes, fuck that thick ass.”
Your mouth drops open and you swirl the head of your clit around, reaching your other hand down through the leg of your shorts to circle your entrance.
He picks up the pace, heavy breathing now added to the crescendo of sound, and you start with two fingers, giving yourself something to clench on.
“You like this little cunt being filled? Huh baby? You like using me?” You bite down on the collar of your tank to keep from making sound. Shamelessly fucking yourself and swirling your wet clit to the beat of his hips smacking against his bed.
“Yes, fuck I’m gonna– yes give it to me baby,” he groans deep, pushing harder than before, he’s close you can tell from the scraping of his bed against the wall.
His voice alone gets you to the edge and you wish you were inside that little room with him, feeling him working so hard to please you for real. He sounds fucking desperate, you grind your pussy up into the flat of your palm, getting close to orgasm.
“You gonna come for me sweetness? Gonna let me feel it? Fuck, fuck, fuck, I’m gonna come baby, please come for me please-” and you do, squeaking out a tiny moan as you fall over the edge, convulsing around your fingers, and rubbing your clit until sound comes back into your ears and your eyes roll back our from inside your skull.
You realize all too slowly what just transpired, what you just did, and speed crawl back to your cot when you hear labored groaning from inside Mando’s bunk. Barely making it in time to cover yourself back up, you pretend to be asleep when his door slides up to open, and dim light floods the hull. You track his footsteps as best you can, hearing him walk over to the laundry bin, and back to his bed.
You lay there in silence, that “fuck, fuck, fuck“ swimming through your head. What now? Goddammit this is not good. It feels like hours pass as you lay there, willing yourself to fall asleep but only being able to replay the event.
The next morning it’s like it never happened. Except it fucking did. He might not know it, but it did, and now you’re sitting in the co-pilot's seat gnawing on a stale piece of bread and trying to determine just how loud that ‘tiny’ squeak was. You’re nearly doing fucking physics sitting there trying to rationalize what happened when the crest drops out of hyperspace, jolting you both sharply and making you drop your bread.
“Sorry,” you kneel down to crawl under the console to grab it, and when you turn around his pilot's chair is swiveled to face you.
“You okay?” The vocoder seems colder this morning, somehow. Just a little bit less enticing.
“Yep, just uh, eager to be home I guess.” You sit up into a squat as you move to get back into the chair.
“You sleep good last night?” There it is. A confirmation. You glance up at him, and back down at your sad excuse for a breakfast.
“Sure did. I’m excited for my own bed though.” Play it cool.
“I’m sorry the bed is so uncomfortable.” the ship is starting its landing protocol, and you’re almost to the finish line.
You stand to make for the ladder where your bags are perched by the hatch.
“It’s not, Mando, it’s not- it’s perfectly. Uhm, it was perfectly fine… for my needs” You pretend to check over the place, making sure you have everything when you touch ground, his boots land on the metal floor of the ship and he turns.
“Your needs?” When you turn around to face him, he’s crowding you up against the wall next to your things, you don’t want to push the control panel to open the latch preemptively so you scoot towards the crates beside you. Backed into a corner now.
He stands before you, and even in your fucking boots he’s bigger than you. He has one hand on each side of your head, and he bends the helmet down so that the chin is resting right beside your left ear. His dick is hard in his pants where it rubs against your belly, “What are your.. needs Sarad’ika?”
It’s like someone flips a switch in you and you swallow looking up into the hull, past his helmet, your hands grip at the fabric of your pants- palms sweating and hot. Heat rises up to your cheeks, all within an instant, you clear your throat to try and answer when an alarm starts to go off, piercing into the thick air around you both.
It sounds close, and it is, when Mando nearly jumps away from you, his hand flying down to his side pocket to grab the tracking fob, “Motherfucker- shit-” he turns and snatches his pulse rifle, and punches the control panel. Leaving you in the corner, feeling like a small stone statue next to your bags, mouth agape.
“We will finish this,” he sticks his pinky out at you and descends the ramp, running off into town.
