Hey, I saw your post about you having a folder of good omens related stuff. Do you happen to have the picture with Crowley and Aziraphale at the park with the black and white swan swimming in the background. I saw it on Tumblr recently but I can't find it in the oodles of my likes.

I know exactly which post you mean and while I don't have that specific pic (i think) I do know the scene and boy do I have pictures of that.

The post is about the 1962 flashback if I am not mistaken, at least there's SEVERAL black and white swan couples swimming around, not just that one pair!!

And unfortunately my folder is. way too big to share it anywhere ajsdkha (plus I need to activate my autism and properly organize it at some point) but I'm always willing to see if I can find a specific picture or piece of fanart if someone's looking!

I have a bit of a hoarding instinct when it comes to stuff like this.

Hello! I am primarily a silent lurker online (so apologies if I’m doing this incorrectly), but I wanna thank you for the treasure trove that is your blog! Your aus are wild and beautiful and absolutely delicious. Over the past few days I have spent oodles and noodles of time scrolling through all your different tags—I’ve become a bit obsessed. Normally I stick to reading on ao3, but I’ve learned how to use the tumblr app for this blog and only this blog. I’ve turned on notifications (again, for this blog and only this blog). I’ve saved thirty-something screenshots. I’ve made designated bookmark folders. I have essentially built an underground bunker-archive of tennessoui content that can withstand the apocalypse.

Your creche rivalry au in particular has seized control of my body, mind, and soul.

(I imagine that baby Obikin pre-Valentine Disaster Day would have had the most disgustingly sweet greetings for each other every single morning, even if they had a sleepover and saw each other ten minutes prior. I can see them walking into the same room and making eye contact and—the air purifies. The flowers bloom. An angel choir starts singing somewhere in the background. Their creche mates need to get checked for cavities daily, their creche masters express concern to the doctors about diabetes, and any Sith within a three mile radius of Obikins’ twin megawatt smiles are instantly vaporized. Palpatine is only able to move in on Anikin after the boy starts hating Obi-Wan. In the meantime, it’s blindingly bright, hopelessly besotted, puppy-love-smiles all around.)

Like holy shit holy shit?? I love their expressions and they’re so cute and innocent and he says “hi obi” which is pure Anakin characterization and then obi-wan says “good morning Anakin” which is in turn just as perfect of a characterization for obi-wan!!!

You’re incredibly right these two babies were just in such puppy love that it had a similar effect as radiation poisoning, and everyone around them had to take shifts to not overdose on it all

Gosh this is so incredibly cute—I think there are only a few posts that focus on them as babies in the crèche in that AU tag, but you’ve given me an amazing reason to try and write something for that era of them (maybe a ficlet/fic that is equal parts their disastrous Valentine’s Day as absolute babies and then the Valentine’s Day they have when they’re older and adults who hate each other) because holy shit I’m obsessed with how cute this is!!!

12. How Many WIPs do you have in your docs for next year?

oh my god. OODLES of wips. i have 30+ items in my xnlw wip folder alone and those are just the ones i wrote down. as far as ones i really plan to WRITE in 2024.... 5? or at least, im feeling confident that i'll write them. i.... HOPE.... i will write them.....

15. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

the most obvious answers are probably my longfics, and then my xnlw midwinter fics that'll be out next week tee hee. but i think the BIGGEST one is gonna be the next longfic i do after i finish stigmata!! i've been on the fence over which longfic idea i wanna to do next, but if im being honest my og plan (yet another single parents fic bc this is the way i am) needs revamping. so im doing a different one instead, and i'm very excited for it. so once some of my overall fic stuff slows down, that's the main wip im gonna pick up again!

20. Which work of yours have you reread the most?

if i'm being like. so real. it's PROBABLY my persona chatfic from eons ago bc i reread that thing a lot while i was writing it!! i like rereading my work but i dont think i've ever reread something as much as i did that one. my silly billy chatfic

back in ye olden days there was a YouTube channel called XxImmortalImagexX and the channel was just reuploaded music. but this was ye olden days so there weren't exactly oodles of places to get it from.

now, what was important about this channel was that they uploaded everything under a couple of titles, one of which was 'The Best Electronic Music of All Times'. what was even MORE important about it was that this person would zip up all the songs they posted and upload them to MegaUpload or something in sets of like 50 or 75 and, this being ye olden days where you did not have unlimited/fast Internet at home, meant these folders took a while to download. so 20 year old me, who did not have unlimited or fast Internet at home and whose only access to EDM was via one radio station and CDs from the library, downloaded them at school during periods where I was on the computer. this school, for some reason, did not block any of the download sites I went to, so I downloaded all except for I think one of the folders available that person had. this was about 350 songs. I didn't even own an iPod yet. I didn't even own a cellphone. I had only the vaguest inkling of what EDM even was. but I still have every one of those songs and I still listen to them to this day

Hope you are doing great. I had to remake my CC folder and I downloaded your Felix conversions from TGS - did you by any chance convert more of his stuff? I am a BIG fan and love style - did some conversions myself - but the quality of my CC is not comparable to yours.

No, I haven't. I know somewhere I have a bunch of their stuff that I never put into my Sims 4 game, too. I can do some more some time but I'm not sure how long before I got to it. I've been trying to finish off the oodles of stuff I already ran through sims4studio over the past couple years. Come to think of it, there are unzipped files from them in my mods folder . . .

15. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

there's only one wip that i know i'm taking into next year that i might actually finish, and it's called "i want you to lose like i lose" — and it's a story about porsche in the three days after korn asks him to take the minor family ring.

i went back to read through that wip because of this ask, and you can tell that i was frothing at the mouth after boc pulled that ep14 timeskip, because that fic is just "porsche talks to people and everyone exchanges information" for 10K 😂 there is SO MUCH NEW INFORMATION TO UNRAVEL AFTER ALL FIVE PLOT TWISTS THAT KORN PULLED and i just think we should have gotten to see them process it on screen 😤 why was ep14 not 3 hours long

it was very cathartic for me personally to write right after the show ended, but now that it's been months and we've all had time to read and write oodles of meta about the porsche ending, i don't need that fic to be finished quite as badly as i did before. so it lives on in my wip folder. but if i ever have a chance, it would be very nice to finish it. i am very fond of it and i think people would enjoy some bits of it! but alas i am not the kind of person who can post something that's incomplete, so i must finish it first. we'll see!

I love the art school AU so so much and I figured that since your work is always able to lift my mood, inspire me or both that I could write this little spicynoodles thing for you as a sort of thanks for being cool and sharing your work~ (Also I still re-read that commission I got from you all the time)

“Wake up!”

MK jolted up. He looked around to try making sense of his surroundings before focusing on the desk. The desk that didn’t have his project on it! He started to panic, turning behind his chair to see his partner looming over him.

“Red! Red, my comic’s missing! What am I gonna do?! How long have I been asleep?! Did I miss the deadline?! Did I fail?!”

Red Son poked his forehead and then he felt something peeling off of it before being held in front of him. He let out a happy gasp before grabbing his latest page that was still in its sketching stages. But that still didn’t answer where -

“!! Gimme!” He reached so far forward towards the folder that Red held under his arm that the chair fell backwards and with it, his face hit the floor. He let out a whine but didn’t have the energy to do much else.

At least he managed to look up when he sensed Red Son kneeling down next to him. “Noodle Boy, when’s the last time you slept?”

MK furrowed his brows in thought. “Uh… is that a trick question? I mean, I was asleep just now, right?”

Red groaned. “When was the last time you left your desk? I assumed you were out doing stuff whenever I was in class. Or at least taking naps during those times.”

The art student let out a hum. And then he gave a sheepish grin. “Guess you having a night class this semester makes it harder for you to keep me from pulling all nighters, huh?”

He had hoped Red would see the humor in the situation but his own smile dropped when the only response he got was one of genuine worry and concern.

“MK, you’re going to get yourself hurt. We’re only a week into this semester and you’re already losing track of how much sleep you’ve gotten to the point of passing out at your desk.” He opened his mouth to argue but was stopped by Red holding his hand up. “Do you know what day it is?”

He huffed. Of course he knew what day it was! … Didn’t he? He turned his head away from the judgmental stare of his partner.

“Come on. I’m getting you some food.”

“...too weak to move…”

He hoped the excuse would lead to Red leaving him here and bringing him food so that he could keep working on his independent study project, but instead he was physically lifted off the ground and held.

He whined and squirmed but eventually gave in. He was tired and Red Son was super comfy with his natural warmth.

“Are you gonna carry me all the way to the common area?”

Red nodded. “Yes. And if nothing there looks appetizing to you then I will carry you to any restaurant nearby you want to try.”

MK smiled and shut his eyes. Suddenly, a break sounded nice.

Okay besties so here’s the sitch:

I got like a bunch of Luca-related words in my notes app (borderline oodles) and they’re just. sittin there. not being read by possibly half a dozen people online. And they’re pretty much all over the place, due to my mind being soaked in silly juice and all, so a lot of them were never AO3 bound in the first place.

So like, I’m gonna start posting ‘em here cause I don’t really have it in me to start an entire sideblog for them. I dunno if I’ll be putting all of them in the main tag tho, just cause I don’t wanna clog it up, so I came up with my own tagging system for them.

I’m gonna tag all Luca-related notes app posts as “Tails from the Notes App” because I’m creative and hilarious. The SFW stuff will be tagged as “Uwuca 🐟” and the NSFW will be tagged as “Hornee Fish Folder 📯🎣” because that’s EXACTLY what I have them as in my notes app and I was born without a shred of dignity.

Reblogs and likes are ALWAYS allowed, appreciated, and encouraged because I crave attention. And feel free to send me asks about them or whatever if you want. Honestly, I may be overselling this a bit, but idk we’ll see what happens.

Fanfic Writing asks: 1-4

Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?: I do a bit of both! With requests I find that I tend to get hit with inspiration as soon as I read it, or 3 months down the road and there is no in-between. 😂 For those, I tend to just sit down and write it out ASAP. For my longer WIPS though, I spend a lot of time thinking and daydreaming about it. Especially the ones that I haven't posted on here yet. My mind wanders back to my OCs and stories constantly and I'm always conjuring up new stuff for them.

Where do you get your fic ideas?: I think a better question is where don't I get my fic ideas lmao. I get a lot of requests on here, and that's what a bulk of my writing is these days. Which I love! But for my own ideas and writing I get a lot of inspiration from what's going on with me and the people around me at the time. And music is a big help too. I've been known to raid a prompt list or two from tumblr to help get the ideas flowing as well. I think the biggest help for me, though, is having people like you and @garbinge to talk to all the time about ideas and hc's! 💖

Do you share your fic ideas, or do you keep them to yourself?: I refer to my previous point lmao. If I have an idea, Cricket or Anj have to hear about it. There's no escape for them hahaha. I am physically incapable of shutting up.

How do you choose which fics to write?: I write what feels good. If I'm not vibing with an idea, I won't write it. Doesn't mean that I'll never get to it, but it means it's gonna sit in my inbox until I'm ready to tackle it. I try to take a shake at any ideas I come up with, though. Which is why my wip folder looks the way it does lmao

It was one thing to live with Dr. Gearloose and help in the lab, knowing that Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Moneybags himself, was up there somewhere in the building, being rich and successful and famous, with his oodles and oodles of money and his adventuring trophies and his... spats...

It was quite another to be asked to take a file up to his office because Dr. Gearloose was at a crucial stage of his latest work and couldn't leave it and that was what Mercury was for, right? Doing all those little jobs and chores that needed to be done but were not important enough for Dr. Gearloose himself?

But that didn't mean he wasn't nervous as hell. It was thanks to Scrooge McDuck that Mercury wasn't in jail right now, after he'd made the little problem of the old man... disappear. It was thanks to Scrooge McDuck that Dr. Gearloose was able to take care of him now, and so, indirectly, it was also thanks to Scrooge McDuck that Mercury had his cool jacket and swell boots and his beautiful new guitar, and all of the other wonderful things Dr. Gearloose had given him.

And what if Mr. McDuck didn't like him? What if after he met Mercury he decided it wasn't worth it to have helped him after all? Or if Mercury offended him in some way? What would he do if he called the police and told them what Mercury had done? That would put Dr. Gearloose in trouble too, for sheltering him.

"Get it together, Mercury," he chided himself. "You can do this. It's just handing over a folder. You just say, 'Dr. Gearloose sent this for you,' hand it over, wait a few seconds in case he has anything to send back, and then go. Okay. Deep breath."

He was outside the door. Obediently, he took a deep, deep breath, let it out, and knocked.

favorite story you’ve written so far: Probably my Rory/Paris opus The Best of It just because it was such a long, long, long road. But I did it! I finished it! Also, I just love being able to spend time with the whole GG/Stars Hollow gang.

fic you were nervous to post: Ahahaha, Touched By A Gayngel. I’m still nervous that I posted it now! (And yet I haven’t taken it down for some reason?)

how you choose your titles: Usually song lyrics, though I hate this method and it brings me great stress, and it usually takes me a long time before I can begin to associate that title choice with the story at all. I feel like I’ve definitely picked the wrong lyric 95% of the time. Occasionally I’ll quote from a poem instead and I usually like those choices better. My stories almost always come to me completely titleless, and that way they remain! (See also: novel projects. D:)

My very favorite kind of title is when I just go full ridiculous in a way that amuses only me. Some examples:

posted WIPs that I have given up on: Oh man, oodles, mostly from fandoms/pairings I’m not really active with anymore (Merlin, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones). But the only one I really feel bad about is not putting the last chapter on my Mary Crawley/Tom Branson post-series, pre-movie (because who could’ve guessed there could’ve been a movie?) fic. ONE DAY, GUYS! One day if I can ever find the strength for a Downton rewatch and actually remember the specifics of what you’re like!

exchange fics due soon/unrevealed: I don’t think I’ve ever actually participated in an exchange in all my 20-ish years of fic-writing! I hate commitments, they make me way too nervous! (Though I’m sure it would be really fun and I’m missing out.)

WIPs that live in my fanfic folder and are incomplete and who knows when they’ll be finished: I have like 4,000 words of a Tom Haverford/Ann Perkins fic where Ann and Chris split up and Tom and Lucy split up and Tom and Ann accidentally start dating again, and I kind of love the idea of finishing this someday, even though I haven’t been in the Parks & Rec zone for ages. It’s just a true instance of me really singing my heart’s very unpopular song! Maybe my next Parks & Rec series rewatch, whenever that may be, will motivate me to finally finish it.

coming soon/not yet started: No current concrete fic plans in my life! Now that the Eleven era of Doctor Who is far behind me and I have somewhat snapped out of SPN madness, I’m kinda between fandoms that I would actually feel like writing about. If there was slightly more buzz around the new Saved By The Bell series and also I had an encyclopedic knowledge of the original series for continuity reasons, I would definitely be tempted to write some Jessie/Slater. I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THEM BEING TEACHERLY COLLEAGUES WITH PERHAPS SOME LATENT LINGERING FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER, OKAY! Like, that is the exact scenario which I was born for as a fic writer. The kids would decide to match-make them for some reason and it would be AMAZING!

do you accept prompts: I sure do! And on rare occasions, when my life is very blessed and the stars align, I even sometimes fulfill them!

upcoming story you are most excited to write: I actually don’t have one, but I guess I’m excited to find out what it is someday! In this day and age, fic just seems to sneak up on me when I least expect it, briefly consume my life, and then free me.

It’s actually very easy and painless to implement, I recommend it if you care only about exploring (like me who has played the game oodles of times already xD)

NEVER FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL GAME EXE, especially as the first solution breaks some merchants, and prevents a number of quests from triggering. (If you want to progress your game, you only need to copy the original game exe back in its place, and sometimes reload the game at least once, but it works). To back-up your game exe, just find it, and copy it in a safe place in a folder, so you can swap it back if you need it. I have two back-ups, one for the original exe, and for the hacked one.
