he’s sweet like candy in my veins
a/n: i live!! for those still around i’ve been getting by slowly and posting art when i can but for the most part, writer’s block is nasty-- i won’t make any promises for when i’ll be post again but for now i gift you this, thank you for your patience with me ┗( T﹏T )┛
(I watched that one filler ep about curry with a friend and that part where the kid talks about the All Blue was super sweet/that’s what inspired me to write this so here we are ><)
ZoSan | oc x canon (Lawrin) | he/they law word count: 0.5k
Morning rays shine pleasantly through the clouds and waters lap against the bay where four pirate ships dock, bobbing languidly with the waves. Each crew’s hustle and bustle within their own and amongst each other is amiable as they prepare to leave the Land of Samurai and the strife it caused behind.
Hard feelings are pushed to the wayside for now but everyone knew the alliance would be over once they were out on open sees again.
Sanji instructs his (marimo) mule where to put heavy crates of provisions needed for the fraught journeys to come, bickering idly with every other complaint Zoro throws his way at being bossed around. Not too far away he can hear Usopp spin his typical grand yarns to a handful of Heart pirates as he’s doing his share of lifting. The older members don’t look like they’re entirely buying his schtick but seem to be content enough to let the kid entertain himself.
Somewhere out of view but well within earshot Sanji picks up on Luffy and Kidd getting into another benign screaming match about Emperors and Pirate Kings.
He smiles.
It lingers as Sanji makes a motion at Zoro to signal he’s going for a smoke break, pecking the swordsman’s cheek as he makes his way up the stairs but doesn’t miss the way Zoro’s hand takes its time sliding off the small of his back. The squeeze in his ribcage doesn’t betray what should be a relaxed, collected if not passive expression.
One... that doesn’t fool the captain resting on the railing he chooses to lean against. At all.  Sanji’s fortunately spared from whatever teasing remarks he caught swirling in the older man’s eye in lieu of what he has to say, however,
“I heard you’re looking for the All Blue, Blackleg.”
That brief flutter from casual affection with his partner at once flickers again and spreads as far as his finger tips. Playing it cool, Sanji busies himself with lighting a cigarette instead of looking at the man head on.
“Yeah, you interested in it too?”
“Nah, but I know it’s out there - Shacchan wants to find it for his dream, right?”
Kirin leans over to smile at his partner on the deck of their ship-- submarine, barking orders but looking up to give a non-committal wave at his partner’s query.
Sanji’s gaze follows their interactions curiously, immediately noting how the pirate closer to him effortlessly lightens up around Law, the way no matter how busy the latter is, always manages to find time to pay Kirin the attention needed to answer a question or simply look over in approval.
It’s a warm, playful kind of magnetism they have about each other that’d surely get groans from their less than friendly peers. Sanji suspects they were the cause of Kidd’s gagging noises and exaggerated hand motions earlier from the captain’s discussion table. His eyes drift to movements of green on the lower decks - not just the Sunny’s grass dancing with morning winds, either.
“You’ve got more than one dream too I see, looks like you’re already living this one, though.”
Caught red-handed this time, Sanji can only huff when Kirin’s laugh echoes charming and bright.
For a brief moment he thinks he can see a spotted cap on the deck below pausing to enjoy the sound, too.

it's possible I made an extended playlist to give context to the classical (non-technically speaking) music in OFMD, with the pieces listed in historical/chronological order, and in the context of their full pieces (mostly - I'm not literally going to put entire operas on there, but symphonies and concertos have mostly been finished)
and it's possible that that playlist is ten hours long
and it's possible you can find it on spotify right now, and that below the cut is the full chronology
(edit: corrections welcome btw!!!! i am by no means a music historian, nor have any higher level music education, just a lifelong association and interest <3 if you know better than me, PLEASE let me know so it can be more accurate!)
N: most of the Vivaldi pieces don't really have any dates I could find, so they're just sort of scattered through the first few decades of the 18th century. and yes, technically the opening Corelli isn't in there, but I think putting another La Folia in is important for the context of s2!

BIZANTYNSE LETTERKUNDE

Its Time For Prince Harry to Get Over His Trauma by u/SonjaInSequim
Its Time For Prince Harry to Get Over His Trauma An op-ed from the NY Post written by someone named Kirsten Fleming. Ms. Fleming uses a velvet glove but her points are definitely well taken. It seems Harry does not want to heal, but is instead most comfortable picking his scabs and reopening the wound for others to gawk and examine. And if they feel sympathy for him, even better. The practice helps further his well-documented grievances. It also means he can forever remove personal accountability by claiming he’s so controlled by the forces of his tragic adolescence.https://archive.ph/OnHLYhttps://preview.redd.it/3scqbzxxhf8b1.png?width=1056&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=545e062e53fa2404bc985bb97b2c563558ac416b post link: https://ift.tt/fKsQyw3 author: SonjaInSequim submitted: June 26, 2023 at 11:16PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit

Random Impulses
Honestly friendship tropes are too much for me. The sexual tension that never manifests, the platonic caring, THE BAITING
Exhausted 1056-year-old x OP student who’s dead
Yeah.
Deal with it.
I wrote about them in my book, but I feel the random urge to elaborate on their earlier relationship. Like pls don’t do this to me. Alois, Theodore—I’m talking to you. Stop it.

Note
If the Mink doctors can pull a miracle drug out of their ass thin air for the sake of giving Zoro his strength back, they certainly could reattach an arm, and Law gave Monet her harpy limbs. The Minks arrived to help soon after Zoro and Robin, two who saw Law's arm be reattached a few arcs prior, saw Kiku's fall from the roof. It's easy enough to explain later that someone recovered the arm, why make note of that specifically? Could have had Zoro get mad over any number of other bad things happening. I'm not sure how long the OP twt has been posting these kinds of corrections though I know Kiku was initially drawn with both arms in 1004, and Neko had both in 1053. Time will tell for Kiku in 1056.
Oh definitely. The mechanics of like...a good plot excuse for reattaching an arm are all there. You also have the potential for Marco to factor in as well, given the timing of the last spot we saw him at the party I figure he’s a key person to look at being involved. Not to mention the ability for us to just be talking about a more realistic-looking prosthetic.
And yeah, these types of things happen. I wonder if the new volume tweaked Neko in 1053? But then again that one is ambiguous enough I could see it being the wrapped stub. Since he’s just missing a hand. Not sure I’m seeing the 1004 one, even looking at the scans that wouldn’t be updated. She rolls over between the two appearances and the one I think you’re referring to has the floral pattern on it if you look close. Like, part of her clothes but look like its coming out from under the armor instead of out of the arm. I don’t really know when we started having the official twitter start these. You’re right though; time will tell. It’s either intentional or a stupidly well timed error to the point if I were an author, I’d make up something to use it.
