Logos Pathos Ethos
I was rewatching Star Trek TOS a while ago and had a thought. I've seen it said before that Spock represented all of Kirk's logical decisions, with all of his statistics adn facts. Bones represented all of his emotional decisions with all of his arguments against Spock and emotional reactions ("Dammit, Spock a man just died!")
This made me think that Spock was logos and Bones was pathos. It wasn't hard from there to make the connection that Kirk was ethos. he's always said to be a great captain and even when he is convicted of a crime, his officers argue in his favor because "no, Jim couldn't have done that."
so each member of the trio effectively represents ethos pathos and logos. i thought this might apply to other books and movies too, and it was arguable for a few others. When I tried to look up if it was like an official literature pattern or something, I didn't come up with many results. I'm not sure if this is just a common writing pattern of if it is done on purpose or if I'm seeing things.
Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

Wait do they seem shorter because (most) of the autobots here have more humanlike upper arm/leg to lower arm/leg ratios
Like.
Barring Mirage, staring at Optimus here his lower leg is the same length as his thigh. With other transformers in other continuities, typically the lower half of the limb is longer than the upper half.

I just think everyone should take a moment to consider the question "what is your visual shorthand for cruelty?" and then follow it up with a critical "and who taught you that?"
specific examples include but are not limited to
why is an evil timeline character design disabled? (why do the heroes go through equally punishing battles and never lose an arm, a leg, an eye?)
why are the futuristic scifi terrorists uniformly darker skinned? (why are the heroes so much lighter?)
why is the greedy boss fat? (why are the heroes skinny?)
why is the criminal mastermind heavily scarred? (why is the brooding, traumatized hero unscathed?)
why is the predatory creep a bearded person in a dress and makeup? (why are none of the heroes trans women?)
who taught you that this is how things are?
how long do you plan on repeating it?

You guys are commenting on the fics you read right? You’re at least leaving kudos on the Astarion smut and the pairs that have less than 20 fics for them too? You’re bookmarking stories you really like that are still being updated and ones that haven’t been touched in over a year right?
You know that even the smallest interactions are like cocaine to fic writers right? You understand how important a string of emoji hearts left behind on a chapter at three am is right?? Right????
You’re treating AO3 like a community and not a content factory….right?
