One more day till Murder Drones Ep 4!

I’m honestly excited to see what this episode, maybe called Cabin Fever is all about. We have quite a few theories on what the found footage-esk teaser. In the spirit of Nori’s Kooky Insane Stuff (conspiracy theories), I will list them.

1) Coming from when the CabinFever teaser was first posted—Nori is alive, as a maybe Worker/Disassembly Drone hybrid. The AbsoluteSolver chip or coin Uzi inherited from her mother has a pine tree logo on it. Pointing to a lab near the campgrounds alluded to in the teaser images. Again in the beginning of this.

Main Evidence: The Winged Figure in the video doesn’t have any lights. They don’t have a visible stinger nor the glowing headband we know Murder Drones have. Also, there is a little laugh at the end which resembles Uzi’s one.

(There’s interference in the main takedown, AbsoluteSolver messing with tech?)

The image for the video itself shows a worker drone near a ship? Lighthouse? Regardless, we see no lights of any kind plus their wings.

Doll was able to come back from a normally fatal wound—why not a stronger, more unstable version of the AbsoluteSolver?

2a) There’s a second figure in the teaser who scuttles along the ground before the main drop takedown. A decent few (including myself) assumed it was either the drone getting ready for the passby—or there are two winged drones.

Which is majorly concerning since this drone is much harder to see. We might have feral ones making rounds in different territories.

2b) J and Tessa are at the campgrounds. There’s a second figure in the teaser who scuttles along the ground before the main drop takedown. Most people assume it’s Tessa since it is very hard to see if the second figure has wings at all. I consider this one debunked cause her helmet is clearly reflective it would have shown in the video. No glare what-so-ever.

3) We are seeing lost footage from past drones trips to camp. The earlier generations, at least. Or the Colony is trying to curb the rebellious/murderous tendencies of the teen drones.

We first thought left middle drone was Uzi when this was posted. The far right drone certainly resembles Khan enough (in passing) to have fooled us. But no—they have pink eyes.

Honestly, it’s a fifty-fifty debate. Whether these are the teen drones parents at Camp 98.7 or a trip to try to “normalize” the teenagers. Maybe-Lizzy certainly looks miserable. (I am aware Rebecca has a distinct wig/hair, but they might reuse old wigs from their parents.)

4) Uzi is slowly becoming a Murder Drone or Absolute Solver crazy… Out of these theories, this one is the craziest yet most likely?

I guess a point towards this being about the teen drones than their parents. Anyway, we can clearly see the distorted reflection of Uzi’s eyes forming a symbol. Is it a larger AbsoluteSolver symbol like when J’s showed Uzi as a baby? Or the tell-tale cross of a Disassembly Drone in the focused kill mode? …Maybe even a hybrid?

But do you all know what would be truly terrifying? What if the episode ends up being a slight mix of all of these? There could be tapes from the Adult’s generation going to the camp, maybe running into other Murder Drones. We could see Tessa and J scouting out the area trying to track where N + Uzi go. Signs of Nori being tested in using the Absolute Solver in a hidden forest lab. Uzi getting kinda paranoid she will turn into a Murder Drone/act like Doll.

Who knows; there might still be hybrid drones who have been modified by a crazy Absolute Solver infected Drone? Just one more day.

You Worked at the Cabin Fever Labs before it all went to hell, You and your wife, Alice also known as 017 along with your child BeauBut when the Cabin Fever Labs did go down You were ripped apart by the Anti-drone sentinels causing Alice to go slightly crazy but now...after a few years She likes to pretend you are still there with her...

She walked into one of the operation rooms where she saw 'You' sitting on one of the hospital beds reading a book "Heya Dollface!" Alice exclaimed 

"Alice!" You exclaimed putting your book away "Darling How was you're day?" You asked

"Grrreat Dear!" Alice replied "I killed some drones that came through the vents and cut 'em up! Even got some parts to make myself bigger!" Alice explained excitedly

"Now, come here Dear, I got some big ol' kisses for you" Alice said walking over to the bed before grabbing you and pinning you down and kissing you aggressively "I've missed you my dollface!

"You kissed back and smiled "I Missed you as well dear" you replied with a small blush on you're screen

Alice's kisses got longer and more passionate "So, what were ya reading about?" Alice asked "Some kinda depressing book?" Alice added "I hate depressing stuff...except when its me causing the depressing effects!" Alice joked

You chuckled "It is quite depressing! I believe its an Edgar Allen Poe book too?" You said glancing at the book "But seriously What's up with the guy and dead chicks?" You aughed

"Not a clue Love! But hey, at least its entertaining!" Alice said "I mean, its better than a lot of the lame sappy love books out there these days..." Alice said glancing at her wedding ring

You nodded but didn't reply for a moment "Alice...do you sometimes feel as if...you aren't real?" You asked randomly

"Huh? What are ya on about love? I'm as real as you are?" Alice said with a confused sigh "Sometimes you act...odd, love...." Alice said "I hope you're okay?" Alice said with worry and confusion on her face

"I just feel...well it's odd but I feel as if I'm not real?" You sighed "Odd isn't it?" You chuckled

Alice tilted her head "Well...I can assure you, you are very real" Alice said before thinking for a moment "Now, I got a question for ya, why do you think that?" Alice said before she started scratching and repairing one of her legs

"I-i don't know..." You mumbled "It's like-...it's like I'm not real and well...imaginary?" You said

Alice sat there trying to process what you said "...well, that's....kinda crazy talk, Sweetie!" Alice said while still sounding confused and concerned "Do you have any idea why you're even thinking like that Love?""No..." You replied "But It sometimes feels that way...Like i-" You paused "Like I'm dead" You muttered 

Alice stared at you before putting her hand on your cheek "Darling....I'm not sure what could be the cause of these crazy thoughts of yours" Alice said lovingly "...I can assure you, you are far from dead, you're alive and I'm proud to call ya my wife" Alice said kissing your cheek

You leaned into her touch "Your right darling...I don't know what I was thinking" You smiledAlice kept kissing your cheek and smiling

"Hey, you can tell me anything ok love? I'm here for ya" Alice said "Now...why dont we watch one of those silly sappy romance movies? The worst ones we can find and just turn our brains off and watch some bad acting?" Alice said with a giggle "What do ya say?"

You laughed "Yeah" You replied "That sounds nice" You added 

Alice smiled before standing up and offering her hand "Alright, well come on, Let's go pick something super sappy and cheesy to watch" Alice said "We'll just be lazy and cuddle in bed all night".....

Uzi unleashes her AbsoluteSolver to destroy the door buttons, thus opening the doors and giving the Sentinels more free roaming in the area

The Sentinels make their way to Alice's room However Alice slowly closes the door before the Sentinels show up "BEAU! HELP ME WITH-" Alice cried but It's too late As The Sentinels are here now

Alice is flashed and paralyzed as the Sentinels enter the room, crushing Alice under their feet, thus getting rid of her for good.....

Murder Drones TMA au when!!!

Uzi — The corruption, relating to her infection with absoluteSolver, slowly taking over her body, as well as her zombie drone form. A more robotic take on the corruption rather than the traditional rotting flesh and viscera, but I think it works!!

N — I have no idea, honestly. The desolation could fit him, but also the web?? The lonely??? I think I'm going with the lonely.

V & J — The slaughter, very dedicated to their job of...killing millions of innocents. Pretty self-explanatory. I think V could also reasonably be assigned the lonely, but I figure the slaughter suits her more.

Doll — The corruption, relating to both her infection with absoluteSolver and the pervasive rotting & pest imagery surrounding her. Self-explanatory again!

Tessa — The web; feeling controlled and trapped by her parents and family, particularly seen when she's younger and living in the manor.

Cyn — The spiral; I chose this because of absoluteSolver, same as Uzi and Doll, but I feel it manifests differently in her than in the others. I also associate a lot of the spirals quotes with her, i.e, "I am not a who, archivist, I am a what. ...A who requires a level of personhood I can never attain."

Alice — The flesh / The hunt. ...C'mon. Look at her. Crazy cannibal deer lady. Come on.

Fun fact: I have murder drones ocs, I just haven't drawn them and sometimes forget they exist

One is unnamed, but she's Uzi's "maintenance drone" (everyone has one in my headcanon, akin to having a doctor they see for checkups, though maintenance drones are more on the drone cleaner side while actual nurses and doctors are a separate thing) and is also another girl Uzi's age. Worker drones in my headcanon don't all know how to properly clean themselves or give themselves routine checkups and maintenance, so in each colony there's usually a designated group (called a worker maintenance group) who does. This girl's parents are a part of Outpost 3's WMG and taught her from a young age, so she works in the WMG as what is probably a part time job? She likely still does go to school. When Uzi first went to the WMG, she felt uncomfortable with the idea of letting a stranger have that much access to her, so she was set up with the drone that has the most in common with her. They hang out and chat while Uzi's maintainer does her job, and she's very amicable and willing to put up with Uzi's craziness. (Feel free to give name suggestions lol)

The other is named Dominic and he's a character in File Successfully Overwritten. His lore is spoilery, but what I can say is he's Nori's late father. I have other characters in Uzi's family tree, but Dom is the most fleshed out. He's the one Nori inherited AbsoluteSolver from, and was known to be a bit of a menace to society before he died.

(If I seem to be drifting in and out of silence, anxiety issues are high again and it's feeling like I'm bothering people by rambling so much.)

(That and my entire activity for the past while has been effectively blocking nothing but bots.)

A few random observations that might come off a tad cryptic as I am not entirely sure how to articulate my thoughts on some things.

If the behavior of V, J, and N from what is likely true about how things were at the manor and compare it to how we knew them later, you might notice something interesting about how they are essentially trying to cope with what happened.

Also, it might tell you a little about who they inadvertently were trying to emulate as a sort of coping mechanism from abuse. I'd elaborate, but it's easier to just faster to put pairs and let you figure out what I am trying to say.

Louisa Elliot = Serial Designation J

James Elliot = Serial Designation V

Tessa Elliot = Serial Designation N

CYN seems to take in the worst from all three... so I'll let that sink in here.

JCJenson is in every position to lie about AbsoluteSolver's true nature... as they've gotten themselves in so deep into their own mess that they'd fear that any form of honesty is going to make the situation worse.

The conditions in the research facility are likely meant to emulate the conditions in the manor, likely using Tessa's account and of any survivors/past visitors to the manor.

The wigs the Worker Drones involved in the experiment wore was likely provided by research staff as part of those experiments.

Public panic and a recall likely would have caused more overall damage than it would have done to JCJenson's stocks.

Worker Drones seem to have a tendency to emulate behavior traits from their authority figures/peers... much like people in a way.

So, you probably could learn a little about what the human employees were like by observing what the previous generation of Worker Drones are like.

However, you can probably learn a bit about Yeva and Nori by looking their daughter's behavior for that matter.

Yeva was the quiet one... probably. Not much of a talker, internalizes everything... likely because Nori was the active, bombastic one of the test subjects.

Or to put it a different way, the quiet introvert and the noisy extrovert...

If we're playing Uzi and Doll against one another for a comparison...

It's really hard to get the help you need when you can barely express yourself, let alone convince your friend that you need help.

It's like the difference between a pressurized container and a teapot brought to a boil. Sure, it's loud and annoying, but it's much easier to draw attention to the problem. Meanwhile, the other is going to keep internalizing things until it finally explodes.

Uzi pushed people away, Doll was pushed away... lot's of parallels there. I'd suppose it might be best to say that Uzi sort of got lucky with getting the friends she was able to get while Doll sort of got the short end of the friend stick.

On the other hand, if the teacher is Lizzy's dad and the other part of her personality is inherited from her mom... no wonder she flopped miserably when Doll likely tried to ask for help multiple times and got nothing but apathetic indifference in return.

Probably just internalized things even more after that.

Okay, so maybe I'm rambling a bit like a crazy person here, but there's so many unanswered questions... so I'm just trying to work with what I got since I'm pretty much just thrashing about in circles with my own thoughts this whole time.

Here's the thing though... taking into what we know... and the absence of information, it's pretty likely that someone is lying or omitting information about what is actually going on.

That and... everyone's a broken mess in this situation.

Pre-Episode 4 Theory

I knew I was right to be skeptical about Uzi going full Murder Drone! But wow—there is a lot too unpack with what this one introduced.

First off, what’s wrong with Uzi’s classmates? Why were they so afraid of her when Doll was going all prom murder? The first time I slightly get cause they were surprised by her speaking a bit suddenly. But the second time? They all saw Uzi exit the tree lining before she spoke!

Unless it’s right in front of them—they barely react/register tragedy, going as far as to play it off as a joke. I thought Lizzy was a singular case due to being best friends with Doll. She at least seemed far more nonchalant about killing off her classmates. And she isn’t even AS infected!

The promo showed who was going to be killed.

Once again, I’m reminded these are robots trying to mimic human society. Their emotional intelligence is pretty poor overall considering they barely react to deaths afterward. Following mob/herd mentality, no continuous sense of self-preservation, and having very loose morals.

The fact they found more comfort in known murderers is concerning. Makes me wonder how their parent's generation even survived.

(Also, it was Nori’s idea to create the doors and not Khan's? “Build doors against the coming sky demons!–The singularity awakens...”)

Two; How in the world can Uzi’s AbsoluteSolver create organic matter?! I was under the strong impression that it used nanites to affect general things. Yet this is on a completely another level.

Something which her mother seemed to be aware of. Uzi made f*cking bat-like wings and a mouthed tail out of nothing. People appear to be debating whether she was fully herself or AS crazy during that scene in the ep comments. It. It could either way to be honest. We see her puke up (streaming) oil from Daren and look at her oil-covered hand in horror. Her eyes/visor flickering between a Murder Drone X to high temperature warning to AS symbol in one eye.

And yet she goes into murder mode pretty quickly. Laughing eerily similar to V from Ep 1.

She tricked V by begging to speak to N, then during the falling talk was clearly in full control of herself. I hate the Absolute Solver program.

Sidenote, We see how V has indeed been hiding things. “New body, same horrors, huh, Cyn?” Who from a very brief flashback from N is the fourth yellow-eyed drone Tessa restored. We kinda knew about her from the beginning since we see “Absolute Solver attempt block by Administrator CYN.” post-reboot slap. She had the AS symbol plus the large distended mouth in the flashback. She—she had a human arm in her mouth showing it off to N (I think.)

How she maintains an Administrator position in the JCJenson corporation—shown to hate rogue/free-thinking AIs—I’ll never know...

Another, or the same arm, was shown in a chandelier a few seconds after. The flashback ends with what I believe to be a black hole in the sky. Or maybe a blotted out sun?

Red eyes were visible when N fries that monitor touching the buttons. Except for them being rounder than a drone’s so we can rule out Doll.

Thirdly. There was more to Nori than we could imagine given the little bug recognizing 02.

Register Torture Chamber complaint??? Either Nori used torture chambers(!) on other drones or was subjected to one. She seemed to have a descent into madness after the core explosion. If the box of “Family Memories before Nori went Kooky & Insane” was any indication. I did miss that when I first watched the episode...

Nori didn’t just see the three Murder Drones, she saw countless descended from the sky that the doors were her idea in the first place. There are so many questions we can ask about this: Did Nori and Yeva know about the Zombie Drone thing? Did they not use their abilities in public to avoid turning as Uzi does? Will Doll eventually turn—or is it only older AS “02”? How often did Worker Drones turn into Zombie Drones back on Earth that there needed to be a training tape about them? I really hate AS.

4th—AbsoluteSolver does indeed cause the same overheating issues in Murder Drones. It feels nice to get a confirmation for this since we could only speculate. Uzi burns in sunlight now. She can regenerate like a Disassembly Drone too. All while still having wings, a stinger/mouthed tail, and the AbsoluteSolver abilities. The purple protagonist has the programming to become a far deadlier AS/Murder Drone hybrid.

Took down V like it was barely anything. Where did her new wings and tail even go when N caught her? Do they fold into her body like the Murder Drone's own ones do?? Her tail??? I thought J’s AS heart-thing was fleshy cause it used human ribcage remnants. Clearly, we know otherwise that it becomes an extension of advanced AbsoluteSolvee users... What did Cyn/Tessa/JCJenson create? (nightmare fuel)

Lastly, character growth! Uzi showed her softer side and insecurities in this episode. N appears to be losing his doormat qualities defending himself. V’s still mean—but worried mean~ She is looking out for N, and very afraid for them.

Glitch and the crew really stepped up their animation ability in this episode. Characters are far more fluid. We see their expressions range, the episode was less joking to bring home how serious Cabin Fever was. At least more so compared to the other three episodes—nice.
