right so you guys ever think about the spectre telling the narrator that hes more similar to her than to a person?
what "her" was she referring to? the fragment we call the spectre? the way he can only be perceived, not perceive himself? the ghost of him, the ghost of her? all of her?
im just. thinking. i always think about spectre. she has. a lot to say that i think is overlooked in favor of more common favorite routes like moment of clarity and the tower, but shes one of my favorites, and shes one of the only ones who SEES the narrator, save for wraith, who is. also her. or nightmare. and she says that hes not really a person. like her.
of course, that makes sense, we think shes a ghost and dead, so she is. but him. is the echo a ghost in the classical sense? is that what she meant? or are there layers?
she says he's not really like a person. what is a person to her? is she comparing the narrator to the "shards of broken glass on the floor" are her interactions with us and the voices the only "person" she knows?
i love love love when this game separates the narrator from us and our voices. i love it so much i think about it daily. props to tower for "layer of grime" that fucks so hard.
i don't have a thesis im just. thinking. how much of the narrator is left. really.

saw on ya main blog you wrote for carmen sandiego. a dr. saira bellum x child reader scene please with mind experiments?
I am full into Carmen Sandiego Mood lately and love the Series and its complex Characters. So i wrote a little Oneshot about our beloved Dr. Bellum and a femal child reder (platonic of course!)
Little Lucky Charm
Tumblr media
You were one of the few children on Vile Island.
Not created because someone found you, but rather brought into this world through a genetic experiment combined with dark science and the brain experiments of Dr. Saira Bellum.
A creation that should not have existed from an ethical point of view. But when you are born on Vile Island… or created like in your case, such a detail does not count.
The annoying baby phase was skipped and you saw the light of day at the age of 2, fully developed with the vocabulary of a toddler and the emotional ups and downs.
Some might say you are a little spitting image of Saira and Dash Haber. You inherited your 'mother's' bad eyesight and your father's gray hair, your eyes are blue-gray. You have a curious character but your parents taught you early on what behavior and following rules mean. At the age of 3, you are always very proud when you can help your mom with one of her experiments.
You don't understand that these are evil experiments that harm other people. For you, everything your mother does is exciting, much more exciting than the strange things that Aunt Cleo collects or the questions that Uncle Gunnar, asks you while grinning so strangely and writing something down on a pad of paper. Your mom also likes cat videos. Cats are soooo great!
That's why one of your favorite students at the Vile Academy is Tigress. She has a big cat costume and every time you run into her, you call out loudly and for everyone else to hear - big kitten - before you try to hug one of Tigress' legs. Most of the time, however, Tigress uses her acrobatic skills and her speed to get to safety from you. She's not really the person who likes children. But that doesn't bother you - you still like the big kitten. Even if she's not one of your mother's favorite students.
That would be Crackle - also known as Graham - but you don't find him half as nice as Paper Star. One of Uncle Gunnar's favorites. Which of course doesn't mean that you don't have a favorite among the male students at the academy. Even though he doesn't speak and speaks a completely different language, he understood exactly what you wanted to say with your toddler sounds and words, especially in the first few months after you were created. If you had to choose, your very best friend on the entire campus would definitely be Mime Bomb. You like him and he is currently trying to teach you his way of communicating.
You have a rather mixed relationship with your mom's other friends. After all, the last child on the island was Black Sheep - unfortunately, your paths never crossed.
You were created , after Black Sheep left the island. Countess Cleo was not good with children and once refused to look after you for a few hours at your mother's request, because Saira had to go to an international villain meeting in Seattle and the other Vile chairmen were busy and your father was on an outside mission in New Zealand. Luckily, Coach Brunt took on the task and gave you a cupcake. She is like the cool, strong aunt to you. Even if her outbursts of anger sometimes make you seek protection behind Uncle Gunnar. Similar to Cleo, Shadowsan also kept you at a distance and was always strict with you. Perhaps also because he didn't want an incident like the one with Black Sheep to happen again.
"Daddah back soon? Miss Daddah soooo much!" - you spread your arms to make it clear to Dash , in your video call via the tablet how much you miss him. It had been so many nights since you said goodnight to the moon and indirectly to Dash too, of course, and so many listening cd´s , that your mom put on for you to help you sleep while she was still working overtime in her lab and researching new inventions.
Sometimes your father didn't want you to call him that in front of the other Vile members, because it was actually just the DNA that Dash had thrown together with Saira's DNA. But you saw him as your father and didn't care if he would pull a dramatic face when Aunt Cleo made a nasty comment.
"I still have a lot to do. You will be a good girl for Dr. Bellum?" - Dash's answer sounded cold , but there was a spark of compassion in his eyes.
"Good girl, yes! Help Mommy! By by Daddah!”, you wave once into the camera as your father has to end the video call and then run out of your room with the tablet in your hand to your mother , to give the tablet back. Saira was careful not to give you too much screen time.
"There's my lucky charm! Come to Mommy, you can help me and Professor Maelstrom with an important experiment!" - with these words, your mom picked you up and you quickly dropped the tablet onto the sofa , before you automatically wrapped your arms around her neck and were curious about what kind of experiment it was.
You can help? How great! You're a good helper! A good girl to be proud of. Maybe there will be muffins or cupcakes for that later?
You were put down on a table in your mother's lab and Uncle Gunnar came into the room followed by Crackle. Crackle , was told to sit in the chair… it didn't look like a normal chair… not really like your high chair either, which you were less and less keen to get into. Was it a new chair?
“…..it won't happen again…I can get better!”, - said Crackle as the arm straps closed.
Was Crackle naughty....bad?”, you asked curiously to Uncle Gunnar as your mom approached the now immobilized Crackle with a small device.
Gunnar stood next to you at the edge of the table, partly because you leaned forward curiously and threatened to fall down - he grabbed you and put you down on the floor….the cleaners, had enough to do, they don't have to remove blood stains from a toddler.
“Oh indeed. Crackle broke the rules and now has to face the consequences”, - said Gunnar with a devious undertone.
“Bad Crackle! Don't break rules! Time out,” - you said, making clicking noises with your tongue.
“Oh my little lucky charm, I don’t think our Crackle can make up for this rule breaking with a time out” - your mother laughed, almost in a delusional manner, and then turned to Crackle.
“It won’t hurt, you’ll just be a little dizzy… and then the happy days will follow!”
The next thing you saw was your mom putting the strange device on Crackle’s head, turning it on and then Crackle letting out a few panicked screams , before his body remained sitting on the chair, asleep and without the energy to defend itself. Apparently he had fainted.
Your mom starts to laugh evilly, Uncle Gunnar starts to laugh amusedly, so it must be something good… the evil Crackle has learned that you should follow rules… so you giggle childishly once and clap your hands several times, you adapt to the mood of the adults. Because they know what is right and what is wrong.
“That’s my girl! Just watch careful, then one day you'll be just as wonderful a scientist as your mommy!” - your mother said happily, first putting the strange device away and then picking you up again.
“Your thoughts and brain experiments are getting better . And Crackle won't remember anything?”, said Gunnar as the two were on their way to the meeting room, where the other chairmen of Vile were already waiting for them. You had now rested your head tiredly on your mother's right shoulder and your eyes half closed, you would soon be asleep.
“I guarantee that Crackle won't remember anything , that has to do with us, the island or Vile… but I will never forget my boy,” said your mom.
Half asleep, you pat your mom's left hand and the glove.
“My mommy! Me mommy's favorite”
Uncle Gunnar's amused laughter penetrates your ears like cotton wool as you get increasingly tired.
But you hear your mom's answer and loving words very clearly before you slip into a gentle sleep.
"Of course you are mommy's favorite, my favorite girl…my favorite lucky charm. Forever"

DogDay and Eve’s lore
Tumblr media
Well… I finally finished writing the lore for Eva and DogDay! This is my first time writing something like this, and I’m kinda nervous to share it. But I put a lot of heart into it, so I hope you guys enjoy it!
Eve’s lore
Eve spent her entire childhood in the Playtime Co. factory orphanage, surrounded by other orphaned children. Her parents were scientists and high-ranking employees within the company. Her mother specialized in child psychology, studying their behavior, emotions, and motivations. Her father was an engineer, responsible for creating and maintaining the machinery used in the project. They often brought Eva to work with them to show her various experiments, devices, and mechanisms. This sparked her interest in science and technology from a young age. However, her parents didn’t show her much love or affection. They made sure her basic needs were met and tried to entertain her in some way. They were more like “overseers” and “mentors” than loving parents. They were quite cold and distant, dedicating more time to their work than to their daughter.
Eve was different from the other orphans. She was observant, intuitive, and possessed logical and analytical thinking skills. She was wise beyond her years, which not only set her apart from the other children, but also made her an outcast. She was either feared because of her “special” parents, or envied for her access to information and “privileges.” She was often teased, had her toys taken away, and was locked in dark rooms. She felt lonely and misunderstood. She didn’t have any real friends. One day, she was locked in a room where she sat for several hours until DogDay found her. He was the only one Eva could truly open up to. They felt a connection based on their shared living conditions in the orphanage. They were two lonely souls, understanding each other without words. They were united by a shared sense of anxiety and alienation from everything around them.
DogDay was the embodiment of kindness and optimism, while Eva was withdrawn and distrustful. They were like siblings, who could tell each other about all their fears and dreams. They often played together, hiding from the other children and the scientists, and observed what was happening around them. Together, they dreamed of a future without the factory, experiments, and fear. They dreamed of a world where they could be happy.
August 8, 1995. A day Eve prefers to forget. The “Hour of Joy” event. She remembered the screams, the toys attacking people, and even the death of her parents. She survived by a miracle, but sadly, she forgot how she managed to survive this terrible event and how she got out of the factory. The last thing Eve remembered was DogDay’s hand, tightly holding hers, and then… emptiness. Her brain blocked the traumatic memories, leaving only blurred images of horror. She suddenly found herself on the street near the factory. She was wearing a yellow jacket that belonged to her parents; it was too big for such a small child. The factory was closed, her parents were dead, and she had nowhere to go.
Eve wandered the streets for a long time, hungry and freezing. She was afraid of every sound, every passerby. She hid in dark alleys, eating whatever she could find in trash cans or on the outdoor tables of cafes, until compassionate people noticed her. They managed to find living relatives: aunts and uncles on her mother’s side who lived in a small town, far from the factory. They agreed to take Eve in because there was no one else. Life with them was difficult. The relatives were cold and distant towards her, considering her a burden. They didn’t understand her pain and didn’t try to help her deal with the trauma. They thought she was strange and unsociable. Eve felt like a stranger in their home, lonely and misunderstood. She tried to stay away from them, spending all her free time in her room reading books or thinking.
At school, Eve also felt like an outsider. She was “that strange girl whose parents died at the toy factory.” The other children avoided her, feared her, and whispered behind her back, calling her a “factory psycho” and an “orphan.” At first, Eve tried to ignore the taunts, but then she started to fight back. Over time, she became more aggressive and sharp in her communication. She lashed out at teachers and classmates, being rude and snappy, even to those who genuinely wanted to help her. She was often punished for this, which only worsened her loneliness. Although Eva was a good student (mostly getting As and Bs), she sometimes skipped classes to be alone and think about her life. She would run away to abandoned places or hide in the library, where she could feel safe.
Over time, Eve accepted her fate. She realized that no one could help her except herself, that everyone is for themselves, and that pity is a weakness, not a solution. She lived by the principle of “better to be alone than with those who don’t understand.” She learned to hide her feelings, putting on a mask of indifference to protect herself from other people’s pain and misunderstanding. She became strong and independent, but deep down, she remained a vulnerable and lonely girl, dreaming of love and understanding.
In her youth, Eve became interested in journalism, seeing it as an opportunity to bring the truth to the people. She also enjoyed drawing and reading, which helped her cope with her emotions. Eve went to university to study journalism, dreaming of investigating the mysteries of the past, uncovering the truth about Playtime Co., and avenging her parents and DogDay. She wanted to find answers to her questions and learn all the secrets of the factory.
Eve proved to be a talented and driven student – writing critical articles and raising difficult questions. She lived in a rented apartment near the university and worked as a freelancer, completing writing assignments. She also worked as a barista in a small coffee shop near the university. She didn’t particularly like the job, but she appreciated the financial stability and the quiet atmosphere.
One day, Eve receives a mysterious letter mentioning the abandoned Playtime Co. factory. She realizes that she must learn the truth about what happened there. Despite her fear, her determination takes over, and she sets off for the factory. She remembers every place, every corner of her childhood, the good moments with her parents. She encountered Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and CatNap, but now they had become bloodthirsty monsters. While exploring the factory, she meets someone she thought was dead—DogDay. He turns out to have been alive all this time, but his legs had been torn off. Without hesitation, Eva saves him from the corrupted Smiling Critters, not wanting to lose him again. They take a break, and Eva reconstructs DogDay’s legs from the parts of dead Smiling Critters and teaches him how to walk again.
After the final battle with CatNap, DogDay joins Eve, Kissy, and Poppy. Poppy shows Eve the recording of the “Hour of Joy” event. While watching it, Eve first experiences PTSD, and then a panic attack. DogDay and Kissy help her to recover. But suddenly, the Prototype attacks Kissy, so Eve and DogDay have to separate from Poppy.
On her way, she meets the Doey and he shows her the way to the hideout and meets DogDay, Poppy, and Kissy, but she suffered greatly from the Prototype. The hideout was home to toys who opposed the Prototype. Surprisingly, everyone recognized her as the “surviving orphan.” Eve doesn’t understand why they call her an orphan and why everyone remembers her and hopes that she will save them. But before Eva could recover from her past trials, new ones arose: moral choices, a choice between Dowie and Poppy, DogDay’s secret, the explosion of the hideout, a battle with Doey, and the last straw was an argument with DogDay before the explosion. This explosion finally separated them, Eve fell into the abyss, and DogDay was saved by Doey. But will they be able to meet again if they pass the tests for redemption of their mistakes and sins?
To be continued…
DogDay’s lore
Before he became DogDay, he was just an ordinary boy, and a close friend to both Eve and Theodore. In Playcare, he was a favorite among the orphans. His kindness and ability to connect with everyone drew people to him. He knew how to support, cheer up, and create a sense of community, which is why he was valued and respected. He was a natural leader, even though he never sought the role. He always found the right words to comfort a crying child or encourage a shy one. He knew how to see the good in everyone and helped them unlock their potential. His leadership skills, empathy, and ability to influence others made him an ideal candidate for the “Big Body” experiment.
Suddenly, the boy noticed that Theodore had become increasingly withdrawn, gloomy, and obedient. He saw the sparkle fade from his eyes. He tried to talk to him, but Theo avoided conversations. This continued until he accidentally overheard Theodore talking to his “imaginary friend.” He heard whispers, but couldn’t make out the words. The words were indistinct, like whispers from another world, but they carried a sinister threat. His intuition told him that something was wrong with the imaginary friend, and that Theo was in danger, but he didn’t know how to help him. For the sake of his close friend, he tried to get closer to Theo’s friend. As it turned out later, this imaginary friend was the Prototype. He managed to gain the Prototype’s trust in order to learn more about it. During his conversations with the Prototype, the boy realized that it couldn’t be trusted. He tried to save Theo from its influence, but unfortunately, he was taken away for experimentation and transformed into the initiator of the “Big Body,” before Theodore. So he became DogDay, one of the “Smiling Critters,” while Theodore became CatNap, his role being to lull the children to sleep at night.
After his transformation, DogDay was appointed “Head Caregiver” at Playcare. He was supposed to entertain the children, watch over them, and create the illusion of a normal life. He hated his role, but he understood that he had to play it in order to protect the others. DogDay looked at the children with a pain in his heart. He saw them as victims, just like himself, and wanted to protect them from further suffering. He still blamed himself for not being able to save Theodore, and hoped that he could help him someday. One day, he heard someone crying in the Playtime. It was coming from a closed room. After a few attempts, DogDay managed to open the door, and in the room sat a girl who was younger than the other orphans. He recognized her. It was Eve. As it turned out, the orphans had locked her up and abused her. From that day on, DogDay vowed to protect Eva. That’s how their second friendship began. DogDay and Eve became close again.
DogDay led a double life. By day, he was a cheerful and energetic leader, following the scientists’ orders and entertaining the children. But at night, he secretly helped his friends, gathered information about Playtime Co.’s plans, and passed it on to informants. In his free time, he spent time with Eve, played with her, and they told each other stories. He regretted betraying her as a child, but he couldn’t directly tell her who he was, because he was afraid she wouldn’t believe him and it would cause her psychological trauma.
The scientists noticed that he wasn’t fulfilling his duties and was constantly distracted by one particular child. They began to punish him with cruel methods. They tortured him with electric shocks, starved him, deprived him of sleep, and forced him to watch cruel experiments. When Eve saw his scars and burns, DogDay brushed it off, saying that he had simply hurt himself or fallen, but his eyes betrayed his sadness. He knew that his deception wouldn’t go unnoticed, and that one day Eve would learn the truth. But he couldn’t do otherwise. He had to protect her, even if it meant destroying himself. DogDay came up with a code name for Eve: “Angel.” He didn’t choose it randomly. He whispered it every time he looked at her, as if it were his prayer for salvation. He saw in Eve innocence, purity, and hope for a better future. But even so, DogDay continued to be punished for disobedience. Fearing for his life, he made a difficult decision: to spend less time with Eve. It pained him to be apart from her, but he understood that it was necessary for her safety. He secretly watched over her to make sure she was okay, and prayed that she would be happy.
August 8, 1995, arrived. It was an ordinary morning. DogDay, as usual, was seeing the children off to school. Suddenly, a siren sounded, and the toys transformed into predatory and bloodthirsty monsters. Some toys began rescuing the orphans. DogDay’s first priority was to find Eve. He saved her, but at the cost of his freedom. The Prototype learned about DogDay’s true role and gave him an ultimatum: he must obey in exchange for his life. He still continued to lead a double life: he helped the surviving toys who fought against the Prototype, and he obeyed the Prototype along with its supporters. However, the Prototype uncovered DogDay’s betrayals, and as punishment, he ordered CatNap, his loyal servant, to tear off his close friend’s legs and hang him in a cage.
He had been there for a long time. He counted the minutes, hours, days, weeks.
Years later… DogDay hung on the straps as usual, without his lower body. Suddenly, he heard footsteps. He raised his head and saw her… his angel. A girl in a yellow jacket, only her hair was now dyed half purple, and she had grown up. It was Eve, his childhood friend. And then… he was saved.
Afterward, DogDay was restored and was able to stand on his own two feet again. It seemed like they were together again, that they could defeat the Prototype and his supporters together. But unfortunately, there were also informants. One such informant was Harley Sawyer. He told Eve that DogDay had been loyal to the Prototype, twisting facts and truth and playing on her feelings, traumas, and emotions. After the explosion of the hideout, a conflict occurred between them, which forced them to separate again. DogDay felt like he had betrayed Eve again, and felt guilty for not telling her everything sooner.

sincerely, never mine
Tumblr media
word count: 1.6k || pt2 of sincerely, never yours
warnings: manipulation and mild batshit insanity
summary: your flesh and blood. your shared flesh and blood
Tumblr media
Tim glances at the collection of sketches left over, licking his thumb as he separates the papers, a wall of portraits of his old servants by you still bright as ever against the horrifying gold of it all. Is it a prison of his mind? Is it a prison of his life? What did he do to deserve all of this? Did you hate him just because he was an elite and you were not? Did you wish for your death so badly as to even kill yourself?
Even when the cleaners had gone to search for your body, it was gone.
Do you despise him to the point of doing anything in order to leave him with only a memory of you? Had he been any dumber, he would have ordered all traces of you to be erased, but that was not possible. He was to be next in line for the position of great leader. It would be him. It had to be him. So, he would smear the narrative surrounding your name and force you to become attached to him at the word, dubbing you his sweet songbird that he had so gracefully set free. It was easy to edit the footage and grant you the false freedom that you had refused when at your fingertips. You did not want to become one of them. You despised him, and he would make it so that you could never hear your own name without being reminded of his own.
If you would drag him deep into the trenches of the ocean, then he would kill you in the process.
Though, his love for you was not just on the surface. There was no way he would be able to play into everyone's perception of a heartbroken leader who refused to marry if he did not keep pieces of you in his study. The cage used to hold you and the chain around your ankle remain there, and he no longer watches and allows songbird performances at events he attends. He can not bear to think of you, everyone thinks. He plays the role of some lovesick heartbroken fool all for the sake that people would be sympathetic to him. It definitely helps that he happens to look like his adoptive father as well.
"The blood of the elite pass down pure!"
Surely.
Tim stares back at the papers in his hand, raising a brow.
"Is this new?"
"No, master." His aide raises a brow. "It has been there."
Tim frowns. You had never drawn yourself during the entire duration that you had been at the mansion, so how had this ended up in his pages?
"Do you know who drew this? This was not my bird." He frowns.
"It is the bird's sister, master. The one whom she had been torn away from?"
Tim blinks. No. This was not the sister of whom he found on the street and turned into his puppet in the newer generation of elites. It was not your father who had replaced your blood mother as the true elite that he had done. Everything he had done was to show that he loved his songbird and for the sake of his public image. The sketch of the young girl he now holds is not of you. It can not be. It had to have been someone else—
A child.
The sketchbook is new. Surely, this was not something he had originally held, and if so, then it had been sneakily hidden in the depths of his attic. The competition was in late January. This was purposely handed to him later than such. This was not dug up recently. this was deliberately given to him by someone, and he would make sure to find just which one of his maids had the guts to imitate your art style and even dream of creating a child that resembled both you and him. There is no person in the capitol insane enough to do such.
"Find me the maid that matches the portrait of the girl. One of the new hires must surely look as her. Then, check her DNA. We have the means." Tim hands his aide the image of the child. You were crazy enough to do it. Only you could match his insanity like that.
Oh, you sweet devil. A devil that would claw and tear at him until it would get to sink its nails into the muscle of his heart and rip it right out of the confines of his ribs.
First, the maid that had placed the sketchbook on his table is found, and Tim offers an abundance of wealth and a ticket out of poverty all to know where she had received the sketchbook. She mentions under the cushion of your cage, but he is well aware of the fact that could not have been possible. Had the money not been enough? Then she would learn her lesson in the confinement of the depths of darkness.
When Tim receives back the report on the new maid, he curls his lips upwards and gets a fine laugh out of it. Your blood and sweat. His blood resides in his mansion as a mere servant.
"The public must know." His lips curl upward menacingly as he laughs. You, his songbird, you, his siren, had offspring of his own blood and flesh. You had kept the child you knew would have sent you right back into his arms if you had survived. You are alive, surely — and if you were not, then he had his blood to take care of. You are truly cruel to place your shared blood in his hands. You must not love the child very much if that was the case.
Or, you know him better than anyone because of the image he has curated.
There are eyes everywhere regardless of how careful he is with hiring.
"I heard you called, master." The young girl stares into his eyes — the same piercing eyes that you once adorned. Truly, it was like staring at a younger version of you had it not been for the black hair the young maid received from him.
"Your mother was my songbird, no?"
"I am not aware of who my birthmother is. I was raised by your songbird's sister. The countess."
"And you were sent here to work as my maid?"
"I was informed that I could find my father here."
"Are you aware that you are of my flesh and blood?"
"I was not, master."
You are truly heartless.
Tim raises her to be the perfect successor, heartless and merciless with the people, watching as songbirds are killed year after year for only one to emerge victorious. With her, he fears nothing. All the blame could be pinned on the mistakes of her youth, and he would get to ruin your life through your shared flesh and blood. He is sure you are watching — whether that be in the depths of hell or from the peace of your bedroom. You could not have escaped, he tells himself. You are not dead. You can not be dead.
Your shared flesh and blood resemble you without a doubt, eyes like yours as though you were still there staring at him in the room when the songbird emerges victorious and he congratulates them. Is it cruel to use you for his narrative? Surely not. Is it cruel to use someone who had used him? There is no rest for the wicked, and it just so happened that neither of you are the good. He would make sure that the positive that could have come from your flesh would be worse than him. Surely, he would end up affecting more people in the end.
He would dig his own claws into the hole where your heart is supposed to be and personally make sure that you would see the demise of everyone around you just because you had left him. Your sister, father, and every single person he had ever cared about would be dragged into the trenches that you have forced him into just with your voice. One after the other, they fall ill to some mystery and pass away, and no one could pin it on Tim because he had adored both you and your family oh so much.
Tim is truly... is there truly rest when you have become the devil himself?
That is, until he is bedridden early in his life, stuck as his offspring tends to him by hand, always overseen by the doctor. He is on the way for recovery, his doctor says. Though, not that he worries. He has raised his flesh and blood to be a perfect copy of him. He is in good hands. There is no betrayal from someone who has been given everything and forced to stay obedient. There is no—
no, that's not quite the case.
"I am my mother's flesh, father's blood."
And Tim notes the way that his flesh is no longer of your eyes. They are now blue as his own, and in the very last moments of his death with no health to even yell, he is forced to stare himself in the eye rather than you. The way his head is held under the water reminds him of your singing all too much, bubbles slipping past his lips as his lungs flood with your song, hands thrashing to push himself up despite the longing to see you. He can not die yet. He must finish what he started and rip your life to shreds. He must destroy the very thing that you care about.
His vision goes dark, and he mumbles a prayer to you.
But he isn't dead.
No, not yet.
Even if it takes an eternity to recover, he will find you and sink those claws into your skin.
Just you wait.

What would your OC's reaction or interaction if she met Leila? 🤔
Tumblr media
How do they meet?
Option 1: Sayu accidentally teleports through a multi-universe portal and ends up in the world where Leila lives. Looking around, she doesn't notice anything different, so she calmly starts heading home.
On the way, she casually notices that many inhabitants run away screaming in fear. However, when she runs into Leila, who doesn't even flinch, Sayu becomes intrigued.
Reaction:
Sayu approaches her, full of curiosity. It's rare for her that someone doesn't react with fear or negativity toward her, and it sparks her interest.
Teasing, she says, “Hey, I'm a ghost, be scared”
Leila chuckles lightly and replies. “Haha, I know. I'm not blind”
Still puzzled, Sayu insists, “You're really not scared?”
Leila smiles and answers casually, “No. Especially not when you look so adorably confused”
Sayu, caught completely off guard by the unexpected compliment, blushes furiously. Flustered and embarrassed, she pretends to be indignant and floats away as quickly as she can.
Complot:
Sayu eventually discovers a painful truth, his father, Betrayus, doesn't recognize her. He looks down on her, speaking with the same cold authority and arrogance he shows to everyone else.
Reeling from the shock, Sayu wanders the unfamiliar world, trying to make sense of it all.
At some point, she stumbles upon a photograph, a faded, fragile image. Her heart stops when she realizes it's the same girl had encountered earlier on the road, only much younger, still a child, cradled in the arms of Betrayus, back when he was alive.
In that moment, the truth becomes chillingly clear,
In this version of the multiverse, she was never born.
Option 2: One ordinary day, Sayu was so bored that she decided to wander into the living room. There, she spotted a collection of books and, with little care, began browsing through them, leaving a mess of scattered volumes on the floor.
While rummaging around, she stumbled across an old photo album, something that immediately piqued her curiosity. Inside were dozens of pictures of her father, Betrayus, from his teenage years onward, back when he was still alive. Some photos were funny, others strange or intriguing.
Sayu flipped through them absentmindedly, until one picture made him freeze.
It showed his father holding a small, cheerful girl, who smiled warmly with an expression that mirrored Betrayus's own.
A strange sensation hit Sayu in the chest, a mixture of mistrust, contempt, and rising curiosity.
He felt an urgent need to confront Betrayus.
Trying to act casual and indifferent, Sayu floated over to the throne room, “Hey, dad, I have something to ask you” he said nonchalantly.
Betrayus, half-distracted by the tv, glanced at him and replied, “Hm? What is it?”
Sayu took a deep breath, then held up the photo as a reference, “Who's the girl in this picture?”
An uncomfortable silence followed. Betrayus didn’t respond right away, he just stared blankly at the photo, his dull reddish eyes seemingly lost in thought.
Sayu shifted awkwardly under the weight of the silence, eventually prompting, “Dad?”
Finally, Betrayus blinked, slowly turning toward Sayu with a nervous, almost haunted look.
“She’s your half-sister” he said quietly.
Tumblr media
How would their interaction be?
For both scenarios, the result would be the same.
At first, Sayu might not like Leila, and it wouldn’t entirely be her fault. Sayu' occasional arrogance and selfishness, combined with deep-seated jealousy and resentment over her father's affection, would create tension. Especially once Sayu realizes she's not truly the only child.
Naturally, this would lead to conflict between them.
However, if Leila eventually opens up, perhaps during a vulnerable moment where they both discuss their inner struggles and shared distrust toward Betrayus.
Sayu’s intense defensiveness would begin to soften.
Curiosity and a rare sensitivity would surface within her.
Through these honest conversations, they would slowly find common ground, gradually improving their relationship and building a genuine bond over time.

Reiner x OC Fanfiction : 2. Ghosts of Yesterday
Tumblr media
"Ugh, talk about annoying."
Levi shot an irritated look at the crowd cheering them on as they prepared to leave the district. Some voices rose above the noise, calling his name, praising him for being as strong as an entire brigade on his own.
Right behind him, Esha couldn’t help but smile amusedly before leaning toward her captain. "Oh, the mighty Levi."
Her captain simply rolled his eyes in response, to which she responded with a soft laugh before turning her gaze to the crowd.
People were smiling, some waving hopeful hands, among them recent recruits who had just been promoted to soldiers, watching them with admiration. They celebrated their departure as if they were heroes, as if this mission would change something. But Esha knew better than anyone that the reality was very different.
She still remembered the day she had decided to join the Regiment. Back then, she had been just a frightened girl, haunted by the image of her brother buried under the rubble, her father desperately trying to save him, even though his fate had already been sealed. How they had narrowly escaped their neighborhood, nearly devoured by Titans as they entered the wall. The fear had almost broken her, recovering from that event seemed nearly impossible, both for her and her father…
first her mother… then her brother.
It was like a blow of an axe driving her deeper into the ground.
But then the hatred, the anger she began to cultivate towards the demons living outside the walls created a certain resolve, the resolve to never be powerless again, to do everything to prevent this kind of situation from happening again. She couldn’t afford to lose someone else, like her father, because that was all she had left… and he, too deeply scarred by the events they had gone through, had a much harder time finding the strength for himself and his daughter than he used to. So Esha had decided without hesitation, despite her father’s anxiety of losing the only child he had left, to enlist in the military to protect the walls from the Titans; she had to become stronger.
And she had. Her combat skills, mastery of the 3D maneuver gear, and almost supernatural instinct in battle had quickly earned her a place in the Tactical Squad, as she had of course chosen to join the Scout Regiment, despite being in the top ten of her class. Commander Erwin himself had acknowledged her abilities. The girl who once ran from Titans was now a thing of the past, and she had slain more than she could count. Her body bore the scars of every battle, and she had become an undeniable asset in humanity’s defense.
Around her, Erd, Gunther, Petra, and Auruo, the whole squad was ready for a new mission.
Esha took a deep breath. No matter the losses, despite the sadness they caused, despite the uncertainty, she had never regretted her choice. But a sense of frustration and anxiety had been following her on missions lately.
She thought, the danger would be the worst part of it… but it wasn’t.
That sensation of stagnation—the suffocating weight of knowing that, no matter how many Titans they killed, no matter how many comrades they buried, the truth remained just out of reach. They were fighting a war without progress, trapped in a battle that seemed impossible to win.
"Everything okay?" Erd asked, placing a hand on Esha's shoulder. She shook her head, snapping out of her thoughts, then responded with a semi-reassuring smile. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, don't worry."
"Still stressed after months of expeditions," Auruo chimed in, mocking her. Esha rolled her eyes before giving her horse a sharp kick to follow Erwin’s signal indicating the departure of the regiment, casting a final glance at the crowd before turning toward the horizon.
But it was only moments later, as they had left Wall Rose and were riding toward their new mission, that a messenger came speeding toward them, his horse covered in foam. He stopped abruptly in front of Erwin, out of breath, and handed him an urgent message. The commander quickly scanned it, and his face immediately darkened. "We're turning back!" he ordered in a loud voice.
A murmur of confusion spread through the ranks, followed by a heavy silence. Esha furrowed her brow and turned toward Petra, who was riding beside her. "What’s going on? Why are we turning back?" she asked, anxiety creeping into her voice. Petra, her face serious, replied in a tense tone: "There’s been an attack at Trost District... Wall Rose has fallen."
Esha’s heart skipped a beat. A dull pain seized her head, pulsing like an alarm deep in her mind. It was as if her body already recognized the horror before her mind could fully comprehend it. No… not again. Memories hit her like a freight train and rage surged through her like a tidal wave. She gritted her teeth, her fingers tightening on her reins. She was no longer a powerless child. This time, she would not be a victim.
Without another word, the Scout Regiment turned around and galloped back toward Trost District, the dust kicked up by their horses mixing with the growing tension. The war was starting again.
___________________________________
Hours later, chaos still reigned in Trost, but the squad had finally arrived on the scene, though not quickly enough to limit the losses.
The Colossal and Armored Titans had disappeared as if by magic, leaving behind unspeakable carnage. The young woman fumed inwardly. She wanted to face them, she wanted to kill them. But again, they had vanished without a trace.
She darted between the rooftops, using her 3D maneuver gear, Levi by her side. The district was hell. Corpses littered the streets, blood painting the cobblestones. Everywhere, the cries of soldiers and civilians in distress could be heard,
enough to chill anyone’s blood.
"I heard there’s a Titan fighting on our side," Levi said while dodging a blast of steam from a Titan’s corpse. Esha raised an eyebrow, glancing at her captain in confusion. "Are you serious? That makes no sense." Levi shrugged slightly, his usual impassive look. "That’s what they’re saying. We got here too late to see it with our own eyes. But apparently, thanks to that, they found a way to plug the wall."
Esha stayed silent for a moment, trying to process this absurd information. A Titan fighting other Titans? Helping them patch up the wall barely created by its own kind? It defied everything she knew about these creatures.
Of course, with the Colossal and Armored Titans, she was well aware that some of these beasts were capable of far more than most had imagined, but she never thought she’d hear someone say one of them was fighting with them.
-
Suddenly, a chilling scream pierced her ears. She turned just in time to see a young recruit get grabbed by a Titan, its massive jaws snapping shut on half his face. The soldier’s body convulsed once before it collapsed, lifeless.
"Shit!" she hissed, abruptly changing direction and letting Levi continue alone toward the district's gate. She cut through the air at full speed, her blades ready to strike.
But it was too late.
She landed on the Titan’s neck, drove her blades in with rage, but the damage was already done. The monster’s carcass collapsed slowly, while the young recruit’s body lay there, motionless, his face mangled like a broken puppet. Esha stopped dead in her tracks, her gaze fixed on the corpse.
The lifeless face of the boy, his expression frozen in terror he could no longer feel, filled her with a deep sense of unease. A dull pain filled her heart as her eyes lingered on the wounds. A cold shiver ran down her spine, and she felt her breath catch. The memories of her brother, rushed over her like a torrent. The image of his lifeless body, the pain of not being able to save him… it all came rushing back in a flood of suffering. Her head started to spin, the migraine assaulting her violently. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to collect herself, before mentally shaking herself off. But the horror of what she was seeing… she would never be able to erase it.
When she looked up, her gaze met that of a group of three young soldiers perched on a neighboring roof. A tall brunette, a small blonde, and a broad-shouldered blonde.
All three were staring at her, frozen, horrified by the scene they had just witnessed.
Esha immediately launched herself toward the roof they were on, they were barely younger than she, frozen, their gazes haunted by the horror they had just experienced, they had barely joined the army, and already, they were facing the harsh reality of war.
As she got closer to them, Esha felt a deep sadness wash over her, a compassion mixed with frustration. She stopped in front of them and lowered her head in respect, her eyes filled with understanding.
"I'm sorry. I came too late." The blonde, the one who seemed the most affected, stammered a few words, his voice trembling and broken. "Why... why did my friend get eaten by a Titan... and I couldn’t do anything?" He looked at his hands, as if hoping to find an answer there, a way to erase the blood of his friend, even though his palms were empty, only the crushing void of helplessness.
Esha approached him, her gaze filled with sincere compassion. She gently took one of his hands, squeezing it to offer him some comfort. "Even three years of training couldn’t have prepared you for this," she said in a calm, almost maternal voice. "We’ve all been through this. And the only ones responsible for all of this are those beyond the walls. I’m so sorry, once again."
She paused, then lifted her eyes to look at them. The three young recruits stayed silent, looking at each other with eyes filled with terror and uncertainty. Esha didn’t give them time to speak, knowing that time was running out and that, even though she understood what they were feeling, they couldn’t stay frozen any longer.
"I’m really sorry for what I am about to say, but it’s either you continue with me, or you go take shelter. You can’t just stand there," she said before darting off, leaving them behind.
They had chosen this path, and now, unfortunately, they’d have to face it sooner than expected.

do you have any thoughts about priest jason todd? haha i want to see your take on it, esp if in this au dickjay was a thing or happened. i was thinking about priest jason todd and mirrorverse batfam so he’s like the only “good” one and he has a code not to kill while everyone else here doesn’t care ab killing, also the thought of dick tempting jay ^^ or honestly just the entire batfam just mourning and being basically mob bosses until jason gets resurrected and eventually comes to gotham and is oike “so i know i’m back but now i’m a god lover and a priest and hey oh also i don’t kill” and everyone is just “now hold on a second-“
Demons have followed Jason all his life - metaphorically and literally. At least in the literal sense, it's always the same fuckers, too. They're relentless.
Maybe it's because Jason was one of them, but by some twist of fate he was given absolution and reborn with a 'clean slate' to do right. Or maybe it's a plea bargain - help as many souls as he hurt while Jason was a demon and that will be his retribution, his mercy from hellfire. Or he's part of some twisted game. Stolen from his home and influenced to reject it.
For the sake of this ask: he died. He came back wrong. No memories, no corruption - just a penchant for attracting the wicked. Everything else is open to interpretation.
The family wants him back though. And Jason might not realize, but he's darkness welcomed past the church's threshold; he brings damnation by association.
Not necessarily by the family, but by others. Because Jason's soul is tortured. Tormented. It's known suffering from a life he can't remember and one he does - caused by men created in his God's image and by monsters that were cast from his kingdom.
Basically Father Hot Toddies is prime real estate (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
Anyway, background. Jason attracts abusive people. He influences people to abuse him. Try as he might to help, there's a darkness at his fingertips and devastation in his wake.
Instant distraction -- Jason self-flagellating whenever he feels he failed to help someone or thinks he led anyone astray. It's supposed to be a penace, but sometimes Jason is weak and it's just punishment
Okay, we're back. Jason recognizing that something's wrong with him. Because too many bad things happen for him not to pick up the pattern.
Another distraction and it's kinky, I apologize -- Jason being assaulted in the church proper. In the confessional booths or in the pews ahhhhhh blasphemous okay okay
Protective of the people in his community and is well loved, in turn, but is conscious to keep a distance for their safety. He has compassion in spades and shows that in the ways that he can (putting the fear of God into cruel people, going out and sneaking food and blankets to the homeless, nagging at punks across the street to get their asses to school or the orphans at the church to mind the nuns).
Not as lonely a life as it seems because choice demons harass him on the regular.
They look after Jason in their own way, but it's wicked
Every person that hurts Jason turns up dead. It's part of Jason's motivation to keep withdrawn. There's forgiveness for everyone, even those who lose their senses around him.
Would Jason have the same forgiveness if the man who tried to assault him turned on a child? And Jason pauses, because his answer is no - burn him ---- and he burns.
Oh. For a time Jason thinking himself mad. Or figuring he's invited a demon into him because there are voices in his head and in those moments of weakness when he can't be temperate -- people get hurt.
Which leads to a lot of torment and praying because what's wrong with him? Tell him. Let him be better.
Jumping over to Dick's perspective on things for a moment because okay. The family loses it when they realize Jason has been lost to them. They bring apocalypse and travesty in their rage and it's a bad time.
But then - the familiar flicker of a damaged soul. Jason.
Dick going to Jason first. Following the sound of his cries and the smell of his suffering. And where some in the family might like that - Dick isn't one of them. Pain that Jason endures is Dick's to inflict, after all. Possessive!demon!Dick Grayson yes please.
Anyway, Dick shows up and suddenly Willis is shot dead on the doorstep. The cigarettes he would use to burn Jason with stamped into his forehead.
And Jason sees Dick there, stooped over Willis's body. Dick flicks the cigarette away. Looks at this small, scrawny boy and marvels at how Jason is still perfect - even like this. A soft smile, still all teeth and bite and menace. It's vicious in a way that even demons cringe away from, but Jason smiles. Tentative, innocent.
Because he thinks Dick is his guardian angel.
The rest of the family piles on if only because Jason really does attract all sorts of terrible things. They can't fathom what it is. Jason has always had that way about him, but it's amplified now and it puts him in danger. Jason's soul is theirs though; no one else can have it.
It's Gotham that wants it. Cursed land that outdates even the first of their kind.
Jason thinking he has angels looking out for him until he recognizes them for the demons they are. He tries to escape them, seeking asylum in a church and it deters them for a time, but only until Jason's own evil taints hallowed grounds.
This is so convoluted ahhhhh sorry
But basically overprotective!bats trying to save Jason's soul to sate their own desires
Jason rebuffing all their efforts and being a stubborn ass
He only relents when Gotham sends its worst after him and desecrates the church that housed him and the children under his care that he loses it and strikes a contract with some of hell's finest
It's a zero sum game though
Because Dick and the others - they can have Jason's soul. But only once the evil in Gotham is purged. Only the evil.
Just an endless war but it's fine because all the losses and suffering only makes Jason's soul that much more sweet
They're content to starve until then
Only they're not. They taste and nibble when allowed. And Father Hot Toddy? He's a generous man. //u////
Can an AU like this not get a little kinky? It feels like a crime that it wouldn't. Father Todd gets down  (*°∀°)=3
Extra Dickjay details:
Jason seeking out his 'guardian angel' because there's nowhere safer than with Dick. They sit in a grimy alley and Jason falls asleep with his head pillowed on Dick's thigh, or curled up against Dick's chest. And Dick humors it. He's soft about it, content if only because he can wrap himself around Jason and possess him for even a short time
Jason calling for Dick when he finds Catherine, not realizing Dick was the devil whispering in her ear. Jason loved her; Dick didn’t. He tested her love of Jason and she fell short
Dick being the demon Jason calls to in order to make that contract. Because he remembers the times Dick was kind (because for as jaded as Jason has become, he wants to believe that was genuine - not another manipulation). He'll sell Dick his soul, but only if Dick gives Jason hope.
Reverence. Shoulder and spine kisses. Worship. It’s overwhelming, tempting, addictive.
Dick knows how to play Jason. He never considers Jason knows Dick just as well. <3
Something something Dick won’t pray to anyone, but he’ll dirty talk marvel Jason like he’s something holy
Something something Jason anticipating a kiss. To tease him, Dick raises the cross of Jason’s rosary between them - a barrier because ‘what would your god say, little wing?’ And Jason is already succumbed, but he’d bite back a challenge, ‘you would let him stop you?’ And Dick would smile and snap the rosary from Jason’s neck, beads clattering on the stone floors beneath them as he defiles not an innocent lamb, but a wolf in sheep’s clothing. //u///
‘Never,’ he’d breathe against Jason’s lips, his skin. A promise and an oath and the devotion in it would tear Jason apart. 💖

I have this really sick image in my head of Rhenn in a specimen tube as an adult during the part of the story he was still under his father's control. "Observation," maybe repair, something along those lines. With Prikk overseeing the process.
I don't think I lean far enough into how fucked up everything with Rhenn is, tbf, like... created via IVF, which is fine. Prikk probably could've used that tech to help people but that's not what he wanted.
It's everything else that gets messed up.
Rhenn was fully gestated in a specimen tube, with Prikk monitoring and making alterations through the entire process. Nothing about Rhenn wasn't carefully worked into his being by his own father, who never actually saw him as a child.
Sure, Rhenn had to be removed from the tube as a "newborn." But that didn't change matters. He was largely raised by his father, but it was in a very detached manner, and the minute he was old enough, most of his time was spent with tutors, trainers, and other researchers, rarely ever allowed to leave his father's circle of influence.
And that has severely affected him as a result.
So yeah. Rhenn in a tube being observed for how his body is holding up to the stress it's being put under so he can be pushed even harder whenever his father wishes.

okiiii ep90 spoilers timeeeeeee (very long very rambly very image-filled post ahead)
ohhhhhhh my fucking goddddddddddddddddd aaahahjahjajhhjhudsghiuydaghuygduysajhgdjsahdha (shaking) (crying) (vibrating at dangerous speeds)
this episode completely changes the context of valvelgear not being yuuhi's disk in the s3 visual and I am!! not ok!!!!!!!!!!!!! they may be 8.88 million faceless npcs but they are my 8.88 million faceless npcs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
grrrrggahrggharhgarhghgargharaghrgaghjeagrahjgadfgdashgfghahgsda ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HEY GUYS CHECK OUT HOW HARD I CAN CRY like ueueueueueue see kuaidul? you didn't need to become someone else to be loved by the creator bc he already loves you :((( gwahhhhhhh
can i also just appreciate how consistent they made the animation this ep like u can tell that some scenes at the end for example seem to be done by the person in charge of a lot of yuuhi duels e.g. vs tell/vs yuuna by the way they do yuamu's hair and background faces but its a lot more 'on model' than usual lol, I love their style regardless but they rly put in a lot of effort this time!!! <3<3 thank u gr staff i love u and owe u my life 💕💕💕
Tumblr media
also. BRUH
yuuga stop disappearing for 2 seconds challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if its bc now that kuai is 'dead' the creator is released? and there can only be one of them existing in that 'reality' at a time for some reason?? 🤔 or he just straight up got yoinked in the world switch lol (or with the preview showing the hat parasite aliens attacking maybe the non-kaizo parts of his weird goha president helmet thing had something to do with it haha)
after seeing it mentioned by a jp fan on twitter I've started to wonder if they rly are in some sort of alternate reality/parallel universe to 7s tho given the 'inconsistencies' e.g. questionable kamijou family timeline, luge and zaion being aliens but luke and neil being (presumably) human, aliens/mik/uts seeming to not exist in 7s era....... i'm still not even halfway through 7s so I can't speak on any of this at all lol but I found it interesting! plus they mentioned rovian and london being cousins and romin and roa also being cousins wouldn't make sense if they were descendants/ancestors
I love basing theories and speculation purely off of 'wouldn't it be cool if...' B)
ANYWAYS the way kuai made his final perfect monster representing his ideal (merged) self in transamu prime full armour nova and yuudias could Still manage to take it from him :)))))))) can't have shit in kuaidul spacetime
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
haha. im so normal guys.
its a very simple solution really, love someone but are also jealous of them? simply absorb their soul and become them! gg ez
how to get the approval of your father figure that you absorbed in 1 easy step!
oh yea speaking of full armour nova who else up staring at the card art for 15 hours straight
Tumblr media
btw i am also normal about how in this imagined fusion of their soul galaxies while it has aspects of both transamu rainac and prime the actual body is yellow bc kuai wanted to become the milky way to be closer to the creator but not necessarily become yuudias because he wanted to receive that love and acceptance for himself :))))))))
eldest sibling kuai who was made to do the hard work and raise (literally create) his other siblings without appreciation vs. 'perfect' youngest sibling yuudias who was the favourite child given everything the oldest could never have from birth................
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
im really so glad they let kuai redeem himself in the end by choosing to let himself die (?) rather than taking advantage of yuudias' kindness and possessing him.... as much as I would have adored keeping him around by letting them share the body lolol
on that note yuudias!!!!! I know boundless generosity and honesty and kindness and most significantly 'virtue' is like. the entire core of his character but bro!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pls have more concern for ur own wellbeing,,,, pls,,,,,,,,,, cri
unrelated but it was interesting that the dudi ducasse aliens r actually considered velgearian too! like its something thats pretty obvious now that they've said it since like. they're literally from the velgear star cluster but still lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the way yuuga always speaks so calmly and like he's detached from everything is so funny lol 'some problems' i mean. yeah
Tumblr media
average sibling interaction
Tumblr media Tumblr media
btw this was the face where I was like 'ohhhh' abt the lead animator bc this is The Luke Face (i just rly like how they do the lines around the sides of the eyes :3)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
average sibling interaction part 2
random thought i wonder if yuuhi will still have darkness jointech tyrant after all this? or is it a card that only existed in the spacetime... did yuuhi even have a corresponding card in kuai's prime deck??? hm
Tumblr media
look how pretty :] (too bad they fuckin. killed him LOL) (i am sad)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is obviously nothing but.... the colours of the galaxy gem thing kinda match lol
Tumblr media
this was cute :3 their relationship has changed so much recently that I'm still a little confused if they're meant to be like. friends or not at this point?? or if its like a 'we've been this close for this long that even if we air out our grievances and try to go our separate ways we're still in sync' kinda thing which is cute
and speaking of cute duos luge and zaion stood (i use the word stood very loosely) directly next to each other this time 🔥🔥🔥 zailugers stay winning
Tumblr media
#nishawsweep (if velgear acts like a surname for velgearians is dudi actually a name adopted by everyone from the dudi ducasse system rather than a personal name? 🤔)
Tumblr media
i know its been 3 eps of this now but aaa im not over how cute it is that everyone's so small compared to yuudias so they kinda look like little fairies :((((( so adorable.......... 💕💕💕
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yuuga who tf r u........ who tf is the creator.......... who/what tf r the oudous........ where is everyone's parents actually
ok i have sadly hit the image limit so I will stop my ramble spam now.... grrrahhrahgrhghgarhahhrgghrgrghghgh i really really enjoyed this episode and this duel as a whole and especially kuaidul as a character!!!!!!!!!
but before I leave i just wanna say isn't zwijou's galaxy so pretty?? its like a reverse of the crab nebula... idk i just think orange and teal is one of the most colour combinations of all time :)

hello .. i know i just followed but i hope i am invited to the resident evil oc party 👀 i am going to yap under the cut. possible spoilers for my resident evil oc fics but at the same time i think i've already done that on this blog,
my MAIN original character, who i have had for just abought eight years now — though only within the last four years or so was converted for resident evil — is dr. finley "finn" bondevik, who has come SO far from where he once was. made worse, even. as a person of course.
finn is a trans man, born in 1972 in san francisco, the child of a wealthy, well-educated couple... and was slated to be taken by the umbrella corporation and integrated into the wesker project. he was kidnapped when he was just a few months old, but his mother and father put a TON of effort into publicizing his case to bring him back home. umbrella decided to use this as another facet of their experiment (and to polish up their public image) and supported finn's mother and father in their search. lo and behold, finn was 'found.'
as such umbrella has been with finn his ENTIRE life. they made a public thing out of their support, providing him with medical care, education, state-of-the-art prosthetics for his missing leg (congenital amputee), etc... he was clearly a prodigy from a young age and umbrella only uplifted him. they silently encouraged his poor habits when it became clear something was. not right about him (dissecting roadkill, cutting open his arm to 'see what was inside'). and when his mother died when he was eight (influenza) and his father blamed him for it, finn fell harder into the arms of the scientists who had loved and supported him so.
got his ph.d. at fifteen just like birkin, immediately hired by umbrella. of course. placed with a scientist named dr. o'deorain. she was. a poor influence. he picked up smoking from her. after a disagreement about a particular medication/virus/can't think of the word right now, he decided to inject himself in the arm he'd cut open when he was young, hoping it would repair the muscle/nerve damage. it did not. his arm was amputated. the right side of his face was permanently scarred. he blamed it on o'deorain and he never heard from her again. alex wesker saw him in the hospital and he came to see her as his sort of 'case worker.'
finn bounced around between mentors a bit because he's such a reckless, stubborn shithead but found his place with dr. william birkin! they hit it off and so for a few years he was at the arklay facility, then nest. also had a brief relationship with albert wesker, unfortunately for him. and met my partner's oc dimitri vikhrov who's ubcs!
worked on g's uses as a bioweapon at nest. created the g-hunters as well as the revenants. began an illicit relationship with william birkin in 1994, which would later become romantic. got insanely tired of working on g because it was being so difficult for him, while it seemed william was having so much luck,, felt bitter and used and stagnated because will wouldn't listen to his concerns/complaints. this started to come to a head in july 1998.
this period of time is what i'm writing a whole fanfic about but basically: the dichotomy of finn's loyalty to umbrella and his love for william. umbrella treating him as the next in a long line of betrayals: marcus, mentor to william, killed, his research given to will; william, mentor to finn... you know how it goes. their relationship falls apart as finn struggles between the company that raised him, that wants him to be the best he can be, and the man he loves so intensely it may as well just be obsession. in the end, william still ends up half dead. finn injects him with the g-virus, then devil. he lives. their relationship does not. and finn also gets his only good ankle ripped apart by a half-mutated licker.
uhhhh yap yap yap THEY EVENTUALLY DO COME BACK TOGETHER. they're both so awful that they really have no one else to turn to. raccoon trials, they get taken into the custody of simmons, william is a valuable resource for both the g-virus and information... sometime in 2006, after the raid on the spencer mansion, finn discovers he's part of project w and that WILLIAM KNEW (not the full extent. but still). he was supposed to infect him with the prototype virus in '98, but after finding out it was KILLING other subjects, decided not to. but finn has survived worse, hasn't he? they stay together, and finn, in his delusion that after that they can survive anything and should be together forever, steals william's blood and cultivates a version of the g-virus for himself. he infects himself. william is rightly aggrieved. finn doesn't understand. properly delusional!
i don't have a lot monumentally for him after that other than they STILL are together in the 'present,' because sunk cost fallacy and all that. finn aids in research after the dulvey incident. accompanies chris in romania and ends up just. having the worst time ever. but survives. what can you do, y'know?

oh! and sometime in the mid 2010's he finds out... he has a daughter.
that daughter is SAMSA WESKER, who is the biological child of him and albert wesker. there is a whole explanation to how tf he didn't know, but the gist is she was grown in a test tube. infected with the prototype virus in-vitro. successfully adapted and born february 19th, 1991. she was named by her aunt (who i headcanon to be albert's twin), alex, for the samsa family in kafka's metamorphosis.
she was a prodigy, just like her fathers. i like to compare her to an animal taught how to be human, because the t-virus really did fuck up her behavior. she was brought up in laboratories and high-class mansions, sitting at dinner tables with lord oswell spencer, sergei vladmir, and alex. proper manners. proper business. manipulation, perceptive listening skills, etc. still there's still smthn very not right about her and it's easy to see that.
in the early 2000's, after the fall of umbrella i think?? alex introduced her to her father, who took a quick liking to her because he saw her as an extension of himself rather than her own person. she knew this and associated with him anyways. she didn't love him, or anything; she doesn't love anything or anyone, but it was mutually beneficial. she grew up with him and alex, skirting back and forth and placating the dying lord spencer from time to time. i know she sparred a fuck ton with her dad. spent many formative years with alex on seim island and learned how to speak russian.
wesker infected her with uroboros at some point, i think maybe when she was 16-17 or so? because if the virus successfully took to her, infected with the t-virus, it would take to him, too, wouldn't it? we all saw what happened to him in re5 though, so... no. after wesker's death she lived full-time on seim island with alex. came to be known as 'alex wesker's attack dog,' because she was 6'2", muscled, and alex was fond of using her to infect/off anyone who she deemed deserving. for all of samsa's efforts to push alex away from the 'mind transfer' route of immortality, revelations 2 went about the same.
so, trapped on seim island with a bunch of mutated monsters, dying islanders, and her own aunt now freakishly changed into a vindictive, paranoid beast of impulse, samsa went a little crazy!! without a proper food source to keep up with the crazy fast metabolism the t-virus AND uroboros gave her, she became kind of. animalistic. did her best to keep her mind about her — she had a breakthrough about herself as an animal vs as a human, but still held her sanity in high regard. she was like the infected inhabitants who did not attack her, starving, acting on instinct... but she could still think. she was a monster, but not mindless.
then barry burton showed up. and remember that russian guy, dimitri, i mention? he was there too! samsa tried to fool them into thinking she was just an inhabitant (her russian wasn't sharp enough), then a scientist. but they could tell something was. VERY off about her. she proved them right when she used uroboros to save natalia-alex from an infected or something,, was taken into custody by the bsaa when they all got off the island.
i'm not entirely sure what her future holds for her at this moment but she is patient (we are waiting for resident evil 9 to be released). she has this intense curiosity about finn, much to his dismay, and spends a lot of time with the aforementioned dimitri. they have some fun parallels (her, nonhuman taught to be human; him, human taught to be nonhuman).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
there's also me attempting to adapt an asoiaf oc to resident evil (who is finn's SON), who would have been created in a similar way to samsa, only instead somehow ... sold as an embryo to mother miranda ... and infected with the mold ... ? i'm not entirely sure yet but he's a ghostly boy who has haunting visions of the past and future and can possess humans and animals alike. could be fun as an addition to the lords. so desperate for attention and love, latching on to miranda... but he's not as 'gross' as moreau so she's like. damn. alright. i guess you can do some grunt work around my lab and keep an eye on the villagers for me.
if taken in by the bsaa post village, would probably end up manipulated by his half-sister like in asoiaf all the same. it's fine though. he's happy as long as he's being afforded attention in some way or another.
Tumblr media
anywaysss that's it!! thank you for letting me yap... i need to think about my re girlies more because i just love them so much...
hello everyone im a curious little fella today, and today i want to see you all yap about your resident evil ocs. give me the LORE!!! give me the DESCRIPTIONS!!!! TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!!! i love hearing abt peoples ocs and i am an oc x canon enthusiast. go nuts, i will listen to every detail :3

mafuyu... seems like the perfect kid. brilliant, dependable, talented, compassionate, warm, patient, polite. she consistently scores at the top of her class, is admirably athletic, and seems to pick up any new skill with ease. she’s adored by her classmates and the adults around her. there’s just a sort of effortlessness to her that can’t be taught. in short, mafuyu is the kind of person everyone strives to be.
on the outside, at least. the inside is a different story.
the true mafuyu is aloof, bitter, directionless. years and years of insurmountable expectations and desperate people-pleasing having wrung her from the inside out, leaving little to remain. in her quest to keep the image of the picture perfect honor student intact, she’s discarded everything that makes her unique, makes her mafuyu— emptied herself entirely until she forgot who she truly was. only those she trusts enough, the members of n25, see what the ‘real’ her is like: blunt, stoic, nihilistic, and difficult to get along with. but she’s not a malicious person in any capacity, that’s simply her attempt at being honest after so many years of inauthenticity. slowly, she’s trying to heal from her repressed fears and find her identity again.
she’ll get there eventually.
something your muse struggles with: compassion.
your muse’s greatest strength: empathy.
history / background:
she lives with her mother and father. she has no siblings. an only child. as the only child, her parents naturally expect a lot of her. particularly her mother, who wants mafuyu to be the very best and discourages her from straying too far from the path she’s carefully selected for her daughter.
everyone knows mafuyu for her academic and athletic prowess, a girl who consistently rises to the occasion and can always be relied on in times of need. and she has to be that ideal person, can’t ever let up or risk disappointing others, because what would happen to her? she doesn’t know what would become of her if that image were to crash down, so she won’t let it. even if it means she becomes hollow and empty in her pursuit of meeting expectations, no matter the pressure it puts on her shoulders.
in her spare time, unbeknownst to anyone else in her life, she starts to create music. mafuyu quickly becomes well-known online for her talent, and one day a composer by the name of “k” reaches out to her. k asks mafuyu to join her group, a music circle of her— kanade yoisaki, “enanan,” ena shinonome, and “amia,” mizuki akiyama. reluctantly, mafuyu agrees and takes on the moniker of “yuki.”

POSTURED TO BEHOLD HIS GLORY
God has a life for you that has been birthed right out of the atmosphere of Heaven. It holds your Christ identity and PURPOSE and is the key to walking in the same measure that Jesus walked in. It's not about being special or called out more than anyone else. It's a matter of how you utilize your identity and the power of the Gospel.
Do we know who we are? Proverbs says, "As a man thinks, so he is."
WHO DO YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE?
Do we see ourselves from a limited, worldly perspective or are we firmly rooted in the awareness of what Heaven says about us?
The truth is that our perspective either limits or magnifies potential, expectation, and confidence. There is no opting out...we live out of the revelation of our Christ identity. It is vital that as a child of God we understand exactly what Jesus did for us. He did more than give us a ticket for the glory train to eternity. He birthed something so magnificent that it is His solution for us carrying out the expansion of His Kingdom in the earth.
CREATED IN AND FOR GLORY
We have been created to carry the glory of God. Hebrews 2 says that through Christ's suffering He brought many sons to glory. We are the house of God, and He wants to dwell in His house. It was always God's intention to dwell with mankind.
"Therefore, if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" - Corinthians 5:17
The person we were before receiving Christ has been taken away and put to death on His Cross. We have received a brand-new life, Christ identity and PURPOSE.
"It is written, the first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit (restoring the dead to life)" - 1 Corinthians 15:45.
"Just as we have been borne the image (of the man) of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image (of the Man) of Heaven" - 1 Corinthians 15:49.
HUNGER IS THE ANSWER
It's time we get hungry for a revelation of His glory in our lives. For too long we have disqualified the legitimacy of SEEKING the experiential with God for fear of being flaky. We are created in and for the realm of shekinah glory.
When we enter into this posture through Christ..."...the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit" (2 Corinthians 3:16-18).
We are postured to behold the glory of God, the image of the invisible God (see Colossians 1:15). The more we dwell in His glory, the greater the revelation of His nature in our lives. It's through restored intimacy that we discover our truest nature in Him.
If we want to live in the experiential knowledge of the power of God, we have to posture ourselves in intimacy. There is no shortcut. Christ is the source. Just as in Genesis, where the mist watered the whole earth, so too He desires to continually water our life in His glory, nourishing our entire being, so that when we step into the world, they see His fiery glory on us.
We are a new creation, birthed out of the Blood covenant of Christ. Not only have we been given access to God Almighty, but we have been called to continue the advancement of Christ's victory in the world.
1 John 3:8b - "The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]."
John 20:21 -  "Then Jesus said to them again, 'Peace to you! [Just] as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you.'"
The same mission to carry out the will of the Father was handed to the disciples. As we walk out from the throne room of God, the place of intimacy and glory, through our Christ calling, we carry resurrection power, giving life to all that we touch, and we carry the judgments of God to tear down the strongholds of satan in the earth. This is more than metaphorical speak. There is real fruit to be had. Just as Jesus demonstrated and promised, you will see all His works and greater (see John 14:12).
CARRIERS OF GLORY INHERIT THE LAND FOR CHRIST
This is who we were created to be. The shekinah glory that we have access to through the Blood covenant of Jesus empowers us to live the life of an overcomer, walking in and bearing fruit to God’s purpose for our life in the abiding presence of Holy Spirit with the endorsement of Heaven following, to establish the rule and reign of Christ in the earth. As we move from glory to glory, we experience Him dwelling  in us.
Zechariah 2:5 "For I," says the Lord, "will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her."
The intimacy of the glory cloud appears as fire to those around! We have been in an extensive time of preparation. There has been a generation that swallowed the death pill of religion -- form without power. Consumed by the cares of the world and hindered through lack of knowledge of what is available, they are unaware that they were created for the regular, experiential encounter of the glory of God.
God has been calling forth the dry bones (Ezekiel 37:9-14) to equip for Kingdom service.  He has been realigning hearts, hopes and hunger, getting them ready for an encounter with Him that will catapult them into the experience of their Christ identity and power. There is a call from the deep of God in this hour to step into the secret place, and it is there that we will receive the fresh breath of God.
It starts with the secret place encounter with the shekinah glory cloud of God.  Here we receive the breath of God and walk out in all-consuming, resurrection power.  We can do it because He has said we can!
Habakkuk 2:14 - "But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea."

BabyMiller! Series Part Four: Namesake- Benny Miller x Reader
Tumblr media
Tagging: @aaronhtchnrs @mysoulisasunflower @xoxabs88xox @daniacatt @itspdameronthings @kabloswrld @whoreforhondo
Part One: Lemon Trees
Part Two: Twelve Weeks
Benny was trapped inside a nightmare. He had been sitting in this waiting room for what seemed like hours unable to tear himself away from the room for fear of missing some vital news in regard to his lover and child. He didn't give a damn that he was still sitting in his pyjamas or that his large feet were entirely bare. His head was in his hands, his elbows digging into his knees as he replayed the last few hours, he had spent with you before you had drifted into sleep.
"We are not naming him after my father." Benny stated clearly with a defiant shake of his head for empathise. "I don't want my son to grow into that legacy."
You pulled a face at his declaration. The two of you were sitting upon the bed, tucked under the warm sheets. You were propped up against Benny's chest, the back of your head resting upon his shoulder as you reviewed the list of baby names with an eager eye.
Benny's strong arm was wrapped around your shoulders, drawing you even closer into his loving embrace. His free hand resting upon the place where the beautiful baby boy resided happily, sleeping inside of his mother. He couldn't keep his hands off you and you didn't seem to mind. He could sense your need for reassurance underneath the surface of their bond. He knew that you had expected him to back away from you, you must have spent hours fretting about his reaction before finally breaking the news to him.
"We want something that encompasses both heritages, I want this baby to have some understanding of his roots." You said, your pen tapping against the notepad on your lap as your forehead creased in concentration.
"Luka means 'bringer of light', I’ve never felt as happy as I did upon finding out about our baby." Benny supplied, thinking about his feelings regarding the creation of his son.
There was something about the name that felt right, it seemed to settle in a place inside of the two of you. It conjured the image of a happy and strong child, one with Benny's eyes and unruly dark hair. His life burned so brightly before you and you found yourself curling up against your man as Benny beamed at the future that the two of you were creating.
That future was fading fast, Benny could feel it slipping away through his fingers as he hunched in his chair struggling to hold onto the fine threads of control. He was struggling to comprehend how this could be happening. He was terrified he would never get to hold his newborn son in his arms or see your eyes shine with adoration for your child. That fear was eating him up inside, if he lost his family there would be nothing else to live for. He knew he’d fall back into old habits, the drinking, the partying, the girls. He’d drown himself until he couldn’t feel anything anymore.
Will was sitting beside him, his hand rubbing the space between his brother’s shoulder blades. Benny's distress was imminent, everyone in the room could feel it seeping into their bones as they lounged in the waiting area desperate for news. It had been two hours since you’d come through into the Emergency Room and there had been no news since.
Santi was sitting on the opposite side of Benny, his body prone and rigid, his arms folded tightly over his chest. He hated not being in control. In this situation he could do nothing, it was out of his hands and beyond his expertise. It made him feel useless, he wanted to take away Benny's pain and ease his trauma but the damage was already done.
Frankie was sitting beside Santi, his foot constantly tapping against the white tiles as he stared at the doors across from them. It had been a timely evening and he was very aware that this could stretch long into the night. He’d stay here for as long as it took to see this through.
The double doors opened revealing a doctor clad in sky blue scrubs. Her dark hair was scraped back into a dishevelled bun at the nape of her neck. Benny was on his feet in an instant, his eyes frantically searching her gaze.
"They're both stable." The doctor informed him as he stared at her with apprehension. "They're gonna be ok."

Rha*gar drives me absolute bonkers. Not because of his trashy actions, but because of how the characters think of him. I just don't get why on earth ANYONE in this series would still think of him in such high regards. Okay, characters like Jaime and obviously JonCon I understand, and maybe even Barristan, but everyone else? Why would anyone think of him positively? The guy fucked off with a highborn girl (who most characters agree was still a child) leaving behind his WIFE and TWO CHILDREN and said girl was also BETHROTED TO A LORD FROM ANOTHER GREAT HOUSE. dude successfully pissed off a handful of great houses all the while being Crown Prince and yet he's... regarded as honorable? Just? Used as an example of chivalry??? Why??? What did he do to deserve it? There's nothing in text to suggest he ever did anything to acquire this level of admiration. He did NOTHING good and everything wrong. Lets face it- if anyone of the current characters pulled the same thing he did they would not be admired after death and thats because the most logical reaction to someone like that is scorn.
I don't hate him because he's awful, I hate him because he's such a shittily written character. Nothing about how the characters think of him makes sense.
I think it does make sense if you consider who is doing the positive thinking.
Cersei? He's her escapist fantasy projection surface from when she was a girl.
Barristan? The kind of knight who'll serve monster after monster and then go on to serve the next monster. Who'll lament how he's not made for politics while participating in a coup to dethrone that "greasy" brown Hizdahr based on zero evidence because deep down he knows it'll result in something he understands: battle and bloodshed.
Jorah? Both times he brings up how much Dany is like her oldest brother, he's in the middle of cheering for slavery.
Aemon? Exchanging letters about Rhae-Rhae's uberimportant prophecy to the point of knowing on-the-dot when the guy last jumped on his wife to create that second dragon head.
Jaime? Threw a kid out a window to hide his own tower-bound adulterous affair.
Jon Connington? Infatuated to the point of bitterly disparaging Elia, incapable of questioning if maybe not burning down an entire town was maybe the right thing to do.
Others, though? Think of him neutrally at best. He's a historical figure to be mentioned, a confusing unanswered question to skip over, for most of them really.
I don't doubt that Rhaegar was a charismatic character, capable of commanding the attention of a room, confident enough to sing and play the harp for a large noble audience, possessed of an inner drive, goal oriented, handsome, etc. Compared to his physically repulsive and mentally unstable father Aerys he would have appeared even more favorable. It would make sense that for the people who already were predisposed to like him, his sudden questionable actions seemed so absurdly out of nowhere that they were scrambling for an explanation that would fit the image they had of him. An explanation they never really got because Rhaegar never explained himself, he just reappeared, made a few vague promises and then died.
He remains a blank canvas for them to project onto. A convenient "What if".
But there is nothing in the text that suggests to me he is universally well regarded, or that GRRM isn't setting him up to be exposed for what he was.

Hi. I read this post, and while I see your point, I think it's actually the other way around.... Or at least, I think that.
Tumblr media
The parents clearly dod not cared about Chloé. As you said, Audry left, and don't even remembers her daughter's name most of the time, and, while Andre provided for Chloe, he possibly never was around either, leaving only Jackue Whateverhisnameis to serve her.
Tumblr media
The parents clearly did not done these👆, that's the point. Even Andre, he did not done these; did not helped Chloé discover who she is, kinda protected her, but without care, enabeling her to protect HERSELF, and strangly, I think he did not love her.... I can't recall he would ever huged his daughter, while I remember she huged Ms. Boustie, which (in highsight) is obviously strange...
Let me theorize a bit, I think Andre created Chloe to the image of Audry, as a "Love fixing child" when he felt she is about to leave him (obviously, it didn't worked). He "loved" Chloe, in that sence he loved the part she is like her mother, so he kinda tried to compensate, but since Chloe isn't Audry, he failed hard.
So, all together, I think (at least as I interpreting the story) Yeah, Audry and Andre both deserving what they get, but the main point is to prove what Felix said; when you don't care for your creation the results are just as bad as if you use them.
So yeah, I personally don't feel pity either of the parents, both deserve this, they CAUSED THIS, and I think that's what the story want to say
I agree with what you say, my point was the hypocrisy of the writing. Where Félix, Kagami and Adrien are portrayed as victims and worth saving, Chloé is not given the same treatment (from Astruc especially).
Both Audrey and André are horrible parents (like most in MLB, to be honest). She abandoned her family and abuses her daugther, while André didn’t give Chloé the affection nor the discipline she needed. All he did was throw money at her and enableing her bad behaviour. Bad behaviour she emulated from her mother, the person Cholé wants above else to love her. The other issue is that in the end André, instead of standing up to Audrey’s abuse and save his daughter from her, will denounce Chloé (although he had part in her upbringing) and will abandon her with her abuser. All while the writers paint him as a "strong liberated man". But all they’ll be doing is showing just how much of a coward André is (Chloé is like that also because of him, but he’ll not be held accountable for it) and how they (the writers) are a bunch of hypocrites.
You said the hug between Miss Bustier and Chloé is “strange”, seeing things now, but the reason is that that hug was meant to be the start of Chloé's change. Sadly the story was derailed by Astruc in s3, just because he hates her on a personal level (I know she’s fictional, but the way he talks about her makes you wonder if he knows that).
The hug with Bustier, her apologising multiple times, her relationship with Adrien, Sabrina, Jaques and even her parents show Chloé was not evil to begin with. Adrien tells us she wasn’t like the Chloè we know from s1, but again because of hypocrisy and the hatered of one man against a fictional teenage girl, all of that depth and development was thrown out the window and Chloé was branded as “irredeemably evil”. While characters like Félix (that killed the entire population of Paris and only brought them back because Adrien was mad at him) and Gabriel (we know what he did), will be given forgiveness and redemption by Ladybug (and therefore, by the writers).
That said, I really like the theory that Chloé is also a senti. I wrote something like that a while back, but the issue with that is that neither Audrey nor André have fallen sick like Emilie or Colt (and possibly Kagami's father). And while I do think the sentiChloé theory could save her character, I doubt they would go for it, since Astruc hates the character and openly mocks her fans.

THE TOP THREE HEROES ARE ALL FAILURES
In the sense that Enjdeavor, Hawks, and Jeanist all embody the failures of the hero system. The first clear sign that all three people who were set to inherit All Might’s Legacy would fail in doing so, is that none of them really understood what kind of hero was in the first place.
Endeavor only ever saw All Might’s Strength, and thought All Might’s genuine desire to save people was just him playing to the crowd. Hawks thought Endeavor’s desire to surpass All Might was heroic, and what made him a better hero because he didn’t give up when everybody else said it was hopeless, but we the audience know Endeavor gave up early and took it out on his family instead. Best Jeanist thinks what’s most important of all isn’t saving people but rather “The Image” of Heroes to the public. Except, the only reason All Might was a hero obsessed with image is because he wanted even those he could not reach to be able to live in peace and save themselves.
The top three heroes are all lacking in what All Might had, in that none of them actually believe that Heroes should save people. Enji believes in strength above all else, Hawks in sacrificing one’s self for the faceless masses, and Best Jeanist in the image of heroes to the public.
It’s really showing that the option of “Saving Dabi” did not even occur to them once, despite the fact that they are completely willing to give a helping hand to the man who made Dabi.
The current number one, two and three heroes are all obsessed with All Might’s Legacy, however all of them are failures to All Might’s Legacy as well because they don’t understand the underlying ideal of heroes saving people. All three of them represent the failures of hero society, which is why they aren’t shown being overly concerned at hero society’s victims. Even when it’s revealed that one of hero society’s greatest villains Dabi, was actually one of hero society’s greatest victims too, created by one of their own, their beliefs barely change.
1. Enji Todoroki
Tumblr media
Enji was never concerned with saving others being the job of a hero. His one and only focus was just to be the strongest. He even has a shallow view of All Might’s ideals and goals because of this. He thinks the reason that All Might won number one was because 1) his all powerful strength and 2) his popularity with people.
Enji never once mentions that All Might became the hero he was, because his number one priority in every situation was to save as many people as he could. Because, Enji doesn’t view it as the job of heroes to save others.
Tumblr media
Toshinori worked so hard because he genuinely wanted to be the shining light for others. He didn’t become the number one hero because it was his own personal dream, but rather because it was others needed of him. All Might isn’t a perfect hero either, but there’s still a difference between someone who wanted the number one spot because he genuinely thought it would save the most people, and someone who wanted the number one spot because he wanted to be the strongest.
Tumblr media
Even after Endeavor’s supposed revelation where he saw Shoto being gentle with flames, rather than forceful and violence, Enji became the exact same kind of hero he was before.
Tumblr media
Think of the way Enji fought Shigaraki, burning him alive. He made several attempts to kill him during their fight, even though the rule is heroes absolutely must not kill, that’s what makes them different from villains. Heroes prioritize the safety of people, and saving civilians, except for Endeavor apparently. Endeavor as a hero is the exact same kind of hero he was before, and the flaw with that is if he had fought Dabi the same way he had fought Shigaraki.
Tumblr media
He would have burned his own son alive. Enji isn’t even concerned in the least with saving people, even when the person most in need of saving is his own son. He sees villains as an absolute evil for him to punch and beat up in order to prove his own strength. The only way Enji knows how to be a hero is violently taking down crime and no one has ever challenged this, even though it’s the exact attitude that led Toya to his death.
Tumblr media
Enji, only ever taught Dabi how to turn up the heat, because Enji wasn’t actually that concerned with his son’s well being. Toya was only worth something to him when he was strong, so Enji only ever taught Toya how to be the strongest hero and nothing else that a father should teach his son. Even now, Enji doesn’t let go of this idea of his that he has to be the number one hero, and being the strongest hero will solve all of his problems.
Endeavor has used playing hero again and again as an excuse to run away. Now that Hawks is giving him another chance to be hero, he’s enabling him to run away again.
Tumblr media
It’s incredible how still even after the reveal, it’s always Toya who has to pay for the consequences of Endeavor’s mistakes. Toya is left alone to burn to death and spends the rest of his life covered in burns forgotten by his father, and it’s Endeavor who gets the unconditional support and love Toya needed as a child offered to him, just because he happened to be a hero. If he was a villain he would have just been locked up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Endeavor is framed as the hero who does not give up, and yet, he very easily runs away and lets Toya take the blame for the majority of his actions. If Toya had been able to carry his dream he would not have abused Shoto. If Toya had not died that day he would not have doubled down even harder on Shoto. Toya’s the reason they could not come together as a family. It’s never Endeavor’s actions, it’s always, somehow, Toya who is blamed, and Toya who is burned as the consequence of Endeavor’s actions. Now, Toya is the one who needs to be stopped when Enji is just as guilty.
I’m not saying that Enji should not be given a chance to get better, but why is the good side of Enji’s actions expressed over and over again and not Toya’s? Toya is trying to reform all of society. Toya is trying to hold his dad accountable for abusing him and neglecting him to the point that he died. That’s murder. Someone who lets their children die because they couldn’t be bothered to supervise them can be charged with involuntary manslaughter in a court of law. Enji has killed too, but rather than admit to his own flaws it’s must easier to cast Toya s the villain that needs to be stopped and himself as the hero that needs everyone’s support.
Toya deserves the same chance that Enji got.
2. Hawks
Hawks only saw self sacrifice in All Might’s actions. He saw someone harming himself over and over again for the sake of others, and that’s probably why he admired Enji’s pursuit of strength more because it was the opposite of him.
If Enji is the extreme result of the attitude that villains can’t be saved, only stopped by putting themselves down with violence, then Hawks is the extreme result of self sacrifice. Hawks seems like the ideal hero on paper, he would do anything, and give up any part of himself to save a faceless stranger just like All Might. However, Hawks also has decided that he has the right to sacrifice others as well.
Tumblr media
Hawks is self-destructive. That’s the extreme end of self sacrifice. However, unlike All Might who took the burden entirely on himself, Hawks will choose others to sacrifice as well. If Hawks sees himself as a tool for the greater good he will extend that to others as well. If Hawks sees himself as a bad victim who turned his back on their parents, he extends that to others as well.
So basically, Hawks’ number one problem is with himself. He can’t reconcile his past. He feels guilty for being abused by his parents. He feels guilty for not forgiving the same abusive parents. He puts everything he has into being a hero, and yet, he doesn’t feel like he himself is a hero. Hawks’ only way he knows to feel good about himself is to continuously sacrifice himself for the sake of others.
Tumblr media
Because he learned when he was young the only way to be good was by sacrificing himself to protect others. He only received the help he needs because he showed he was “one of the good victims” but deep down internally he feels like he’s the bad one, for not being able to do anything for his mother, for not reaching out to her.
Tumblr media
Hawks can’t see himself as a victim and it messes with the way he sees other victims as well. He divides them into good and bad, and then tells himself that he’ll offer to help the good ones, the ones willing to improve. Hawks’ represents Hero Society’s own willingness to throw the bad victims to the dogs.
Tumblr media
It’s specifically Hawks who Twice calls this out on. So we have a number one hero who thinks the only way to deal with villains is to violently suppress them, and the number two hero that thinks the only people who deserve to be saved is the ones he deems as “Good” or “Trying to be better.”
It’s all because Hawks has this really self destructive idea of what kindness is. That kindness is somehow destroying yourself for the sake of others, that it’s being overly forgiving and not holding any resentment at all.
Tumblr media
It’s like how Deku acts like forgiving his father is a kind act. However, at the same time implying that holding onto resentment would be an unkind one.
Tumblr media
Even though the reason Natsuo won’t forgive is because Toya is dead, and Enji never showed any apparent remorse for it, and didn’t try to fix anything. Even though one son died because of Enji’s training, and then Enji just decided to train the one remaining son he had left a thousand times harder. Natsuo is attempting to hold his father accountable for his actions, but Deku acts like blanket forgiveness would be the kind thing to do.
Even though Deku himself is willing to overlook all of Enji’s past abuse of Shoto, and his murder of Toya, but at the same time stresses how unforgivable Toya and Shigaraki are.
Deku just saves people in a self destructive way. He breaks his bones to save others, thus mirroring Hawks who just saves people without genuinely thinking through who needs to be saved. They save people, because that’s the way they hurt themselves to prove how useful they are. However, neither of them actually goes through the trouble of thinking who genuinely needs saving, and that’s why they’re able to carry such a false double standard. Enji needs help because he’s trying to be better, whereas Toya’s not trying to be better. Ignoring the fact that you know, Enji tries to be better by just, forgetting everything he did in the past and sweeping his past actions under the rug, whereas Toya is still suffering from the scars of Enji’s abuse, permanently on his body.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, between Twice a person willing to die to protect his friends and act of complete selflessness, and Enji who can’t even bring himself to think that maybe he should try to save the son he let burn to death on a mountain peak which one do you think was trying to be better? Enji who spent ten years, even after Toya had already died to his training, training up Shoto instead even harsher. Enji who referred to Toya as “a failure” and “almost perfect” when talking to Shoto about his death.
“I’m going to help anyone trying to be better” is just an arbitrary line that Hawks draws.
That’s even the critique that Twice levelled at Hawks. Hawks doesn’t care because he never actually tried to see the good sides of the other people, but Toga was someone who comfotred Twice and understood him. Toga was someone who made the league feel like home. Hawks labels Twice as the only good one, because he just didn’t bother to see what was good about the other villains. Yet, at the same time he strains himself to see the good in Endeavor, to the point where he constantly apologizes for Endeavor’s actions and sweeps them under the rug. Endeavor is a good man who is just misunderstood in Hawks’ eyes, who just went wrong somewhere, but Hawks can’t ever offer up the same sympathy to the worst victims of society. Who lash out and hurt other people in the same way that Endeavor did, except Endeavor’s is excusable and there’s isn’t because...???
Hawks is in denial, because he refuses to look at the good sides of the villains. Twice didn’t choose to accept his offer of help, so obviously he didn’t want to be better, therefore Hawks is perfectly justified in putting him down. Notice though how Hawks mentioned prison time for Jin, but not for Enji (neglecting a child to the point where they burn to death is... still a crime).
Tumblr media
Hawks is still in denial about himself. He thinks he’s offering people a helping hand. However, from Jin’s perspective we see how manipulative he is. Hawks didn’t offer Jin a hand, he held him at gunpoint and told him to surrender and betray his friends. Hawks is just lying to himself, because he didn’t go out of his way to save Jin, he ruthlessly manipulated him, and then betrayed him. He’s not framed as a hero trying desperately to save a villain, but rather a friend betraying another friend who trusted him. Because, Hawks does not just sacrifice himself. He’s the extreme result of self sacrifice. Self sacrifice turns into self destruction. Self denial. Hawks sacrifices other people. He forces himself to dirty his hands, because he believes this is the only way he can be a hero. He’s too weak individually, so he has to manipulate, pull strings, and even kill in order to achieve the results he thinks will save the most people. However, by doing that he ignores the suffering of the victims right in front of them.
Not only that, but he ignores what contradicts his simple black and white narrative. Enji was trying to be better so he deserves help and support, Twice didn’t want to be better so Hawks revoked his offer of support away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s willing to give support to a man who abused his family for no good reason, and who continues to evade any consequences or legal punishment for his actions, but then insists that Jin who was pushed to his actions by poverty and not wanting to starve to death just did not want to be better. He’s like, so unaware of what the problem actually is with society, he can’t possibly think why Enji leaving his own son to burn to death might have left his son a bit miffed. Enji is just a person who made a few missteps along the way but genuinely wants to be good, Dabi is just a selfish person who doesn’t want to be better, so says Hawks.
Nevermind how hard Toya tried to be a hero, and how he never gave up on earning his father’s love. Nevermind how hard Twice tried to be helpful to other, and how much he loved the people around him he was willing to sacrifice his life. Twice’s last action was to save his two closest friends. Enji’s actions are always just to beat up villains to prove how strong he is. Enji is never concerned with anyone. Hawks does want to save people, but he never thinks about the people who need to be saved.
Therefore, heroes are always good. Even when heroes do bad things, Hawks contrives some way to not hold them responsible for it ever. Well, Enji isn’t like that now. Well, we don’t need to announce that Enji was an abuser, because that will just upset the public.
The actions of Enji are apologized for over and over again. Because rather than holding him accountable for his actions. Instead of pushing him to actually fix his mistakes, it’s better to keep sweeping the problem under the rug. Because, as is repeated again and again heroes don’t save people. When a hero fails to save someone, rather than trying to fix that mistake it’s easier to blame the person who didn’t get saved.
Even if it was your own son that you left to burn to death. That is somehow miraculously alive.  That has given you a second chance to save the person you should have saved that day by just, showing up, and actually acting like a father for once.
Enji will just choose his job over and over again. Because heroes don’t actually have a responsibility to save people. Being hero is just a job. Enji, Hawks, Jeanist they consider it a profession, not a responsibility. Which is why all three of them are willing to blame Dabi for his own actions, but not Endeavor for his. Which, just proves Dabi right.
Tumblr media
Heroes aren’t actually concerned with saving people. Heroes don’t think about who is most in need of saving, and who the real victims are. Heroes just protect their own.
Tumblr media
Enji, Hawks and Dabi are all murderers. They have all killed someone in pursuit of their goal. Not only did Enji murder a child by neglect, he also tried to kill Shigaraki several times over, and even tried to murder Pop Step in vigilantes. Hawks killed Twice in pursuit of a goal.
However, Hawks and Enji need to be supported, whereas Toya needs to be stopped. Because they are heroes, and Dabi is a villain. But sure, watch Dabi continually burn his own body over and over again and push himself to the very limit so he can achieve a society where another hero will never get away with abusing his family like Enji did his, and say that he doesn’t want to be good. Watch Toya burn himself over and over again as a child just trying to be a hero because he thinks it’s the only way to earn his father’s love, because he genuinely looked up to his father and wanted to be just like him, and insist that Toya just stopped trying to be better, that he was just a jealous child, that he was never good.
Jeanist isn’t a fully developed character so I’m not going to talk about him as much, but he represents the attitude that heroes “only pretend to save people” because they fuss ove image, rather than doing the actual work of helping victims.
The thing is someone who is genuinely trying to be better would listen to Dabi’s words, to Shigaraki’s words. However, Jeanist, Hawks, Enji all think of themselves as the hero, therefore they assume they are good and that their actions are good.
Tumblr media
Whenever someone contradicts this, they just flat out ignore any criticism. Heroes don’t save people. Heroes just protect their own image as heroes, because they assume that’s what is necessary for peace. Even now, Hawks and Jeanist aren’t focused on the innocent people suffering from the victim break outs, but rather taking down the man out to ruin their reputations.
Tumblr media
They pretend to see those they haven’t protected. Even when that person is Endeavor’s own son, his pain gets swept under the rug, because the image of Endeavor as a shining hero is far more important than the responsibility he has to help his own son, that’s in pain and need to saving.
