⋆        barbie fever . . .  by petalsource .
. . . a complete blog makeover inspired by barbie .
hi, barbies! today, i bring you a complete makeover fully inspired by our favorite pink lady, barbie herself, to allow all of you to bring your own characters into her world in plastic!
feel free to  tweak and adjust to your needs, add different background colors and overlays, but kindly  do not  claim as your own or use it for commercial purposes. feel free to tag me on your creations with this on  #petalsource! seriously... i can't wait to see what comes of this!
💐  click the  source link  to  get it as a package or individually on  deviantart  or  payhip  !
and . . . keep reading to find more details about the graphics, hq live previews and important tips to use the templates !
✩ about the items!
➷ think pink! -- a two-picture promo template inspired by the iconic 2023 movie posters. you'll need: two pngs of your faceclaim of choice, and the custom fonts (listed below). the glittery polygon of the first picture is available in 7 different glitter colors! high quality examples.
➷ this barbie -- two options of transparent dash icons; one matching the "initial" poster and one matching the "glittery polygon" poster. high quality examples.
➷ so plastic -- two options of centralized headers; one matching the "initial" poster and one matching the "glittery polygon" poster. to use it at its best quality, disable the "stretch header image" option when uploading the header. high quality examples.
➷ magenta -- version 1.0: pinned post (or miscellaneous) banner inspired by the 2023 barbie poster. version 2.0: pinned post (or miscellaneous) pair of banners mimmicking the layout of a barbie doll box. one banner goes on top of the postbox, insert pinned post or text, and the other banner goes on the bottom! high quality examples.
➷ doll up -- lookbook template inspired by the barbie doll box, featuring a "doll" picture and six customizable objects / accessories. you'll need: full body png of your faceclaim of choice, custom fonts (listed below), and 6 pngs of random objects or clothes to "come with" your doll. i've added a short tutorial down below on how to find and use some easily! high quality examples.
➷ pink ipod -- playlist template inspired by the barbie ipod, featuring a cover art and nine songs. high quality examples.
you can purchase all items as a package (deal price) or individually!
✩ important tips & useful information!
➷ needed fonts: bartex, cocogoose.
➷ object pngs + removing background of images: i found a super useful pinterest board with photos that can be used on your graphics: oxfordcommah's object pngs. additionally, the clothes png search on p*nterest is really diverse, and you can narrow your interests like "pink clothes png" or "vintage shoes png" and find a lot of options. once you found your images, go to remove.bg and paste their urls in there. it'll remove the background of those images for you and you can just paste them on your template and have fun!
➷ used coloring psds: the beautiful and super pink psds i used on the previews were not made by me and are NOT included in the downloads. in case you want to use them, they can be found here: dreams, 003.
➷ styles: the download includes two styles, one for a subtle drop shadow used in a few layers and one for the plastic box effect in the lookbook template. you can install them by opening the styles tab on photoshop > the four lines > load styles > find the barbie styles on your downloads!
➷ in case you have any questions, pop into my inbox or ims and i'll be happy to help you!

I'm sick with covid again. So I'm not answering asks that are like rude or on this subject because honestly I don't like drama, I'm ill, and also I haven't said shit but reblog posts I've been tagged in leave me the fuck alone.
But I will say this. I don't know who's sending those anons to blogs or why, well they probably want to cause shit for me but idk why bc I've mostly been offline.
If someone commissions me for a private pack its private to them only. semi private it goes on payhip for the same amount they paid (I've reworked my commissions page but that only goes into affect on new ones made after I reopen), public everyone gets it.
If I was going to randomly hand out links, I would do what I did with the Lauren Tsai pack and just refund the people who paid for it and release the gifs for everyone.
Please just stop. Both with accusing me of being shady with commissions, and with the really nasty anons. All my packs I make outside of commissions are free. None of this makes sense but yeah please leave me alone.

[Image description: A banner showing black text on a light blue background. The text reads "A Ferocity of Bees, A Wyrdseren short story", with a simple silhouette graphic of a flying swarm of bees beneath. /End ID]
A Ferocity of Bees is now live!
Arketh was fast asleep when the call came. It wasn’t a call for her, exactly. More a raw and lonely keening, a thing of instinct, to be heard by anyone who would listen. Arketh just happened to be one of the few who could.
She saw the crack of lightning and the lash of rain, felt a terrifying fall as the wind screamed, and understood that this was the mourning-cry of a hivequeen. The wyrdness crackled and roiled, filling her with a terrible fizzing need to move and see and do. Images of broken branches and hard, unyielding rocks tumbled into Arketh’s sleeping mind, splintering the nightmare she was in – the one about the open tundra full of twisted shapes that stalked her every step – but her body refused to wake.
So, Arketh did the thing she wasn’t meant to do anymore. She slipped out of her body.
A Ferocity of Bees is a short story set between books one and two of my high fantasy duology, The Wyrdseren – and it's free! (Well, pay-what-you-want, but that includes nothing).
→ get the story from my Payhip
Plus, you can currently get 30% off the When Dealing with Wolves (Wyrdseren book 1) ebook at my Payhip with the coupon WOLVES&BEES23! So if you haven't read it, now's your chance to get it for £2.80. The offer expires on 17/01/2023. And if you'd like to learn more about the book before you buy, here's its page on my website, where you'll find buy links for other ebook retailers and the paperback format.

If you've been intrigued by Welcome to the Show but didn't want to go through Amazon, I have great news for you! Its exclusive enrollment in the Kindle Unlimited library has expired as of today, and it is available to purchase directly through my Payhip Storefront.
Your download gets you all three virtual file formats - epub, mobi, and a reader-optimized PDF. There is also the option to download a preview file, which is the whole dang first chapter.
WELCOME TO THE SHOW
Rockstar Keith and actor Adam have the kind of relationship that keeps tabloids in business: Passionate and dramatic. They’ve mostly managed to keep their taste for threesomes a secret, though…until they meet Sebastian, a budding journalist who fits perfectly between them. Being together shows each of them new, wonderful parts of themselves, but navigating their careers and a long-term threeway relationship in the public eye of 2012 is playing with fire—and if the paparazzi doesn’t destroy them, their inner demons just might.
Note: This high-heat romance title was previously released as LoveGames by M Jules Aedin in 2012. This edition has been rewritten with mostly new content, including a brand new ending.
Content Advisory: This novel contains themes of mental health, polyamory, light D/s roleplay, and communication/consent. It includes graphic sexual content, graphic mental illness, and one scene of miscommunication surrounding consent toward the end that could be upsetting to some readers.
Tumblr media
This little book was a passion project for me, and I'm thrilled that literally anyone who isn't me has read it and enjoyed it.

Payhip Reviews 2023: Is Getting a Payhip Account Worth It?
Tumblr media
Payhip is an accessible ecommerce platform that lets you sell digital products online without technical skills.
The Payhip platform is an all-in-one solution for managing your online store.
You can accomplish many tasks on Payhip. All the features of Payhip incorporate user-oriented marketing tools ideal for small-to-medium-sized businesses.
With Payhip, you can post digital downloads, like videos, music, software, and ebooks. You can also sell memberships, online courses, and your own expertise.
The platform’s features give you everything you need when selling digital products, but there is a limit when selling physical products.
I wrote this article to critique a leading eCommerce service platform: Payhip.
I will evaluate the features of Payhip thoroughly and discover if this e-commerce platform performs according to expectations.
My Payhip review aims to help you determine if your digital products are suitable for selling on Payhip.
Here are the features I assessed for sellers like you.
Plans
Pricing
Payhip fees (transaction fees)
File management
Marketing tools
Coupon codes
Affiliate Program
Referral system
What Is Payhip?
Tumblr media
Payhip is a self-subsidized web based business administration stage that began in 2011. Payhip has had more than 130,000 makers throughout the long term.
Abs Farah, the organizer behind Payhip, shed light on this phenomenal across the board stage permitting anybody to earn enough to pay the rent while making every moment count with only a straightforward snap.
Payhip's slogan, "Your store, your direction," typifies the fantasies of a few venders as they imagine their brands and stores with Payhip's adaptable store manufacturer.
Payhip will transform your abilities into benefits when you buy into this internet business stage.
Who Should Use Payhip?
Consider Payhip if you’re:
A seller who wants to develop a store for selling their physical and digital products.
An entrepreneur who wants to sell subscriptions online without difficulty managing members.
An author who wants to sell a book without printing it.
A chef who wants to sell recipes without printing recipe books.
A creative designer who wants to sell digital products as printable copies without putting up an online store.
A coach who wants to offer coaching sessions without leaving the house.
A teacher who wants to publish online courses without a classroom setup.
You may not be any of the individuals mentioned above. Consider something less complicated than Payhip, like Gumroad, Sellfy, Sendowl, or Selz.

The drawback of Payhip is having similar visual format as different merchants since Payhip has restricted customization. You have zero control over edges, line separating, and different components on the grounds that Payhip gives premade areas all through the store creation.
Furthermore, examination might be a feeble viewpoint for Payhip, however you get a nice outline of your client's requests and a breakdown of your supporters and endorsers.
What's the selling point of Payhip? It advances a simple and fast exchange since you can utilize Stripe or Paypal to get your benefit. Assuming anybody from Europe purchases your advanced items, Payhip in a flash adds Tank taking care of.

Tumblr media
Payhip has three pricing plans:

Howdy, I'm Sabrina. She/They. Over 25, mentally and physically disabled, tries my best, just wants to enjoy what little life i have.
i like posts so i can either add them to my queue or reblog them later (or on a different account/a sideblog) generally. sometimes i may reblog them multiple times because i forgot to unlike it after adding it to my queue. or it showed up in my for you again after i already reblogged it. it happens.
please only follow me if you are 18 years or older. I'd personally prefer 20+ but 18 is fine i guess lol. I will not review every single thing i say and do or otherwise to play safe for someone underage on my personal space. I will not adjust my content for you. If you are underage, do not follow me, please and thank you.
If you plan on policing what I post, you may also leave. If you're thinking 'oh I don't like xyz this is why i'ma tell you' just block me, don't send me the ask, don't try to get my attention, it's gonna get deleted. I use my own discretion and a whole lot of actual research, not tiktoks, twitter, and easily disprovable opinions to decide if someones trash. i'm autistic its facts or nothing. I do have a don't list, not publicly, but I do have one.
do not follow if you're homophobic, transphobic, biphobic, racist, or otherwise.
Whilst I do post resources here, this is first and foremost my personal blog. Anything I post to my sideblogs (if i actually use my writing or art sideblogs, for example) would be reblogged here too.
REQUESTS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. However, if I post gifs of the fcs you want crackships of, you can send me an ask and I may end up doing it. The only reason I don't do requests is because I don't want to have to buy media I don't already own lol. I only go on a computer on days I do not have work, as even if I'm only working 4 hours in a day, I don't have the energy for both.
No you may not ask me what my disabilities or ethnicities are, you weirdo. I will say I'm audhd, if you pay attention to my posts you might be able to figure it out, i've been open about being asian before but i am trying to be less specific now due to how racist people have been getting, and i ain't for that.

Hi, I know it would be really hard to change platforms but the ceo of gumroad is doing some sketchy shit right now... like searching the customer database to see if people on Twitter have ever used the service. It's highly immoral and he is doing it to clap back on people and its not cool
We've been trying to monitor the situation since last night's call out post by one of their employees. Prism and I are not supportive of NFTs, and didn't want to be associated with them to begin with. With the social media meltdown from the Gumroad CEO, it appears we have an even more fast-acting catalyst to get our butts in gear.
We've also been working on our own web space for some time, even if it hasn't been priority. The pay what you want/can model was always part of our core belief system in this project, and was something that was non-negotiable for us in terms of switching platforms. Originally, Gumroad was the only place to offer this pricing. We thought we would have to find someone to code our own shop if we wanted to leave.
It seems that now, though, there are many more shops that allow website integration AND the pay what you want model. We've started combing through options.
If anyone has a) suggestions/preferences/horror stories about any of the other options out there-- Sellfy/SendOwl/Payhip -- please, please, please speak up. We can only go by what Google spits out at us as information.
b) someone who can code us a shop of our own (we can pay them!).
Please, let us know! It's time to abandon ship and we need a life raft and a new boat.

broken icons on my themes + how to fix it
due to an unfortunate issue with dropbox, the icon font i use for all my themes (saturnicons by the lovely @suiomi) had to move its hosting elsewhere. this means that it’s currently not working on any of my themes. fortunately, the fix is super easy! i will work on fixing all the themes on my pastebin and payhip, but if you don’t want to reinstall my themes, simply follow the guidelines below.
somewhere at the top of the code, find the following line:
<!-- icon font -- http://suiomi.com/font --> <link href="https://dl.dropbox.com/s/50g6fbds3rh4m0j/saturnicons.css" rel="stylesheet">
replace it with this:
<!-- icon font -- http://suiomi.com/font --> <link href="//solrainha.github.io/saturnicons/saturnicons.css" rel="stylesheet">
and you’re done! everything should be working fine again. though if you encounter any other issues, please let me know!
if you have purchased one of my premium themes through payhip or patreon, please use the fix in this post. as much as i want to email every single one of you with an updated code, i simply can’t because there are too many. if you can’t get it to work, please email me and i can send you an updated code!

Tumblr media
Five years ago, I began putting a book together—a collection of my writings themed around punk music/punk subculture. They were all written between ‘99 and 2014, and had previously appeared in my own zines that had since gone out of print, or other zines or online magazines that had gone out of print/gone dark; style-wise, they ran the gamut from CNF to lyric essay to music criticism. I decided to crowdfund and self-publish the book, but at that point I didn’t really know what I was doing in regards to either crowdfunding or publishing full books. The book was almost ready to go but the artist I’d commissioned never finished the cover art, and my crowdfunding campaign hadn’t been entirely successful, and I wound up not having enough money to publish it.
About a year after I realized I couldn’t do it the way I’d initially planned, the book was picked up by a small press. My plan was to buy enough author copies to fulfill the initial crowdfunded preorders, and hopefully sell even more than that. With the help of an editor, I partially rewrote some older pieces and wrote some new ones to flesh it out a bit more. They found someone to do the cover and interior art, and put up a preorder page; I got blurbs from some of my favorite writers. It was all basically ready to go. But shit happened, and the press folded, and the book was once again dead in the water. (I’m not naming the press here, because my intention here is not to call anyone out. The people involved in all that are friends of mine, and as a small press owner myself I understand that shit happens. The saddest part about that whole thing is that I don’t get to use the cover and interior art we had, because it was amazing.)
I’ve recently realized that I need to get the book out in some way, because I need to put it behind me. For one thing, I feel badly that the people who crowdfunded or preordered never received anything. For another, I just need to move on, and I can’t fully move on until I get it out into the world. So I’ve decided to self-release it. For right now, I’m only making a digital version. I know, I know, print is way better, but I don’t have the funds to print it right now, and I’m certainly not going to ask people to pre-pay for it a third time. I’ve redone it somewhat—took out some of the weaker pieces, added in some others I’ve written in the past three years—and I’ve used my own artwork for the interior and done the cover in a zine-y/Xerox art style. I’ve uploaded it to Payhip, for a sliding-scale, pay-what-you-want price. This way, people who already paid for it (or just can’t afford it otherwise) can download it for free, and other people who can/want to throw a few $$ my way can do that. Most importantly: finally, finally, five years later, What We Talk About When We Talk About Punk will be released unto the world. — Here’s what some rad people had to say about WWTAWWTAP in its original incarnation: Love letters to way-too-late whiskey-drunk nights, stolen hearts and stolen kisses, small- town parking lots and bad decisions and even badder girls, WWTAWWTAP is a gritty and gorgeous series of riffs on living and loving punk. Like your very first show all over again, it'll set your blood on fire. —Sarah McCarry, author of the Metamorphoses trilogy and editor/publisher of the Guillotine series What We Talk About When We Talk about Punk distills wild nights of loud music, cheap whisky, and fugitive romance into a pure tonic. Jessie Lynn McMains’s voice is as indelible as a stick-and-poke tattoo and her autobiographical stories vividly capture the highs and lows of punk-rock youth. Pull on your leather jacket, grab a bottle of something, climb up onto the roof, and read this book. —Jeff Miller, author of Ghost Pine: All Stories True Wearing music like a jacket, that’s one of the things Jessie says about herself in these pages. I find that very admirable and inspiring. It gives a wonderful perspective to not only observe oneself in the moment, and in the past, but to feel the effect of that topic of study and passion on you, pressed against your skin. Jessie’s very subjective approach succeeds, and doesn’t fall into, impenetrable in-crowd self absorption, because she is smart enough to allow an adequate amount of objectivity and analysis to let her audience vibrantly see and feel her own experiences as if we are there with her. Music is a good reference point because lyrics, rhythm, and melody hit deep beyond the intellect into the emotions. You can always put on a CD, or vinyl record, or cassette and be transported to other places and times. These personal essays did this very thing to me, like listening to music. She becomes the jacket that we put on as we hear the lyricism of her stories. We are always with Jessie in her writings. The hyper-awareness that she uses to capture her memories to be pondered again and again, as we read on, immersing ourselves in her writing, is crucial. We are reading something that is alive and learning it’s own lessons. We can picture her being transformed by her own documenting of her experiences, becoming a complex being, a well informed member of humankind. She is infused with the playfulness and philosophy found in music and she demonstrates the frightening willingness to view oneself through a microscope. I find this fascinating. Therefore, because of this heart-on-her-sleeve writing style, when we allow ourselves to engage with her words on the page, to be as vulnerable as she has allowed herself to be, we too are transformed. Her words have gone from jacket to skin. We are there feeling her sexually charged reaction to Rock and Roll. We experience the sensual allure of the human body. With her we dive head first into decadence, decay, nostalgia, and hope. Her bouts of loneliness and need for community are palpable. We are bruised by the violence, the drugs, the suffering. We are stifled and also warmed by the dying and the regenerating of a constantly changing musical style. We witness the passing of friends and idols. We share in her understanding of what it means to be an outcast, and more specifically, how it feels to be a female outcast, to be a mother and a rebel. Through the willingness to wear this book like a jacket, like a skin, we not only see who Jessie is but we learn about the daily life behind the music, of people, inspired by their own creativity and the creativity of others, trying to simply be, to live a life worth living. This isn’t just a collection of diary entries, a memoir, it is an opportunity to look at oneself. Why are you a punk? Or perhaps even more importantly, why aren’t you a punk? —John “Jughead” Pierson, podcaster (“Jughead’s Basement”), musician (Even in Blackouts, founding member of Screeching Weasel), author Jessie Lynn McMains weaves the threads of her own life with a typewriter ribbon on a loom fashioned from melted records and empty 40's. The end result is fascinating, an ultrapersonal look at a life shaped by punk, forged by punk, fired by punk. What We Talk About When We Talk About Punk has music at its core and surrounding it on all sides, but its main muscle is the reaction to that, the response. Thoughts thought while listening to a perfect mixtape that takes you far away from the blah street you've found yourself living on (and a secret peek at the science behind that perfect tape), the thrill when a cute girl comes into your crappy job and gets why the 1" button on your jacket is so important. Notes scrawled on diner napkins and on the back of show flyers, now compiled into book form! —Ocean Capewell, author of The Most Beautiful Rot and High On Burning Photographs zine At 16 I cut my hair with a razor and dyed it black, looking at my reflection in the mirror that night I was convinced I was the spit of Richard Hell. When I think back through my own punk history, the bands, the friendships and the crushes; the obsessions that took over my life, led me to zines and the community I was desperately searching for, I can see with perfect clarity how I arrived at this point. As an adult woman these things are intrinsic parts of me. And that’s what Jessie’s writing does, it kicks you in the gut then hands you a cold beer. She knows. Jessie is the real deal; she is the girl Cometbus, one of the great zinesters of our time. If you want me, I’ll be in my room listening to my tapes. —Cherry Styles, writer, editor/publisher of The Chapess — You can download it here. Then listen to the official soundtrack here. (Pretend it’s on a tape, okay?) xoxo, the writer formerly known as Jessica Disobedience

Hi! Ok so how do you make a book? What are the steps for everything its needed for the book? Ive written some poems nd stufff and i’d like to make a book but i dont know how to. If you could help me thatd be great!!! Thank you so much ❤️
Hi dear anon! I am so sorry but this message never came up on my notifications! How strange :- /  but I will gladly answer your questions! ^^1) First you have to make the text in itself. Whatever you want to make. It will need a lot of proof reading and checking before you go to the next step.2) I’ve used www.lulu.com, and the process really is written in there. You just have to find out which format you want, if you want the cover to be nice I suggest you hire a graphic designer to make the cover for you (I’ve used one at fiverr.com), and be aware that the cover size matches the format you want to use in lulu. Then, follow the process, check it again, order your proof copy, check if it is okay, then you accept it if it is good enough and therefore publish, or you change it and order another proof copy. That is the process of a printed book. If you want to make an ebook it is an own process to do so on lulu. You can also make a pdf file of it all and publish it through payhip. I know it is possible to format an ebook I just don’t remember and frankly I feel I don’t have time for it, therefore I sell it like supercheap as a PDF. With ebook you can also sell on Smashwords and other good sites but then you’ll need to format and that - I don’t have the time to do right now :-) But that is in essence how you do it! Very quick though. You will need to try and fail for yourself A LOT before you get the hang of it :) Good luck following your dream!!

Graphics, illustrations, design – f4mmedia – resources
Every business at some stage needs to add to its online graphic content, illustrations aid the message you are sending out to potential clients/customers. Similarly it is also needed for print work, display items and more. I have talked a lot about design styles. There are all too many usual business images – corporate and similar design styles. There are times, though, when you need to do something a little different. Perhaps it is the social sector you want to talk to – perhaps they are of a slightly different age group or perhaps have a different taste in visual styles.
Tumblr media
Take a little time to think about what you need to express and then how to do it – what resources will you need? Perhaps a slightly arty approach might be useful every once in a while.
