Done with your dreams, they won't last ('Cause that sun that beams down as my hands touch the grass) Thirty winters will pass, you'll look back (After summers of fasting, I feel hunger at last) At the woman 50-year-old-you will be proud to have known (For the person 15-year-old-me would be proud to have known)
Moth Osiron, my MC from @idrellegames Wayfarer 🤎 (why isn't there a moth emoji?)

[Image Description: the first image is the cover of the TTRPG Wyrd Street. A pale woman wearing a hooded robe is seated in the center of a candlelit room, looking with shock at her bloody hands. She’s sitting on a torn and bloody rug, a broken chair in front of her. Behind her is Ji Wensdottir, one of the Iconic Characters, casting a protective spell while she looks down at the seated woman. Surrounding them are glowing runes from the spell, a few floating, jellyfish-like critters made from possessed junk, and a large, menacing ghostly figure, floating in front of a broken window. At the top is the Wyrd Street text logo, and at the bottom is the text “Core Rulebook.”
The second image is an illustration of Osiron, a man with brown skin, dark brown hair, a sharp goatee, and cat-like ears on the sides of his head. He is holding a deck of tarot cards in his left hand, with a fan of three cards in his right, ready for throwing. He’s wearing a long, tan, striped robe, with a dark red and brown hooded coat overtop it. Around his neck is a decorated pouch for his cards, with a simplified crescent moon sitting between two plateaus against a night sky, and wooden beads hanging from the bottom of the bag. His boots are decorated in a manner similar to the bag, but with a simple vulture in the sky area as well. Handwritten beside him is his name, and his RPG class, Fortune Teller.]

Osiron the Fortune Teller
Wyrd Street TTRPG IndieGoGo, funding now!
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/wyrd-street-d20-ttrpg-system/x/9982631#/
Wyrd Street cover illustrated by Dana, whose portfolio you can find here: https://www.danabraga.com/
A Lone Wolf—he chose to focus on fickle fate, rather than his society’s veneration of more solid research and logic.
He has cat ears!
His class has a tarot-based buff ability, BLADED CARDS TO THROW, and can give buffs that allow rerolls to manipulate fate!
(He’s my favorite I wanna draw him SO BAD I did get to call dibs, I’m pretty sure we just need enough funding to not need to cut into the art budget)
With the tarot and some other abilities, you roll a d4 to determine the random effect you get—with the different suits being attributed to each number, if your GM allows, you might draw from a tarot deck(’s minor arcana) or playing cards for flavor!
I don’t mean to play favorites and make Osiron’s post relatively longer, but each class has details on a specific ability! So, for his example: at level 5 you can “mark” a character—each turn they gain another mark, until you set them all off to do [X] shadow damage per mark! STACK NIGHTMARISH DREAD (And it lasts a while, with activation range a bit further than application range—so if the situation allows, you could even play it like a horror movie monster/villain following them around. For funsies.)
The Fortune Teller class is also accidentally perfect for making Yu-Gi-Oh! characters. Yugi/Yami would be mostly buffs with some psychic damage penalty-game-ish abilities; Bakura would be debuffs and DOOM; Seto would focus on passives and luck boost-type things to minimize failure chance (he may not believe in fate but they work anyway). And there wouldn’t even be much ability overlap between them, because each level has two or more abilities to pick from, so they’d still be pretty unique despite being the same class! AND they could each have different weapons, since there are magic-based ones that could fit them, instead of all having cards.
...WAIT IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH PHYSICAL YU-GI-OH! CARDS, YOU COULD ALSO MAKE A DECK OF JUST MONSTERS FROM LEVEL 1-4 IN EQUAL AMOUNTS, AND USE THAT TO DETERMINE D4 RESULTS, TOO
A deep dive post from Tyler, with details on the Fortune Teller’s max-level abilities:

Another deep dive post from Tyler, specifically about Osiron, plus a bit more info on Fortune Teller:
https://superior-realities.com/2022/05/27/wyrd-street-tease-osiron-the-fortune-teller/
And that’s all the Iconics revealed! Wyrd Street’s IndieGoGo ends on the 26th, so go give it a gander, and take a peek at the primer to check out the gameplay!

THE ARCH MAGISTER
Tumblr media
Ferando Khnemu
Exalted Sorcerer of the Thousand Sons, Arch Magister of the Drowned Moon Sect, Heavenmaster of Seshat
“I detest trickery. But if we ourselves are to suffer deception, our hands are … zzz …”
- Khnemu, the Somnolent
/ Age (M42): 11,170 /
Fer Khnemu oversees the training of Thousand Sons neophytes. He is chronically fatigued.
M30: A kind warrior mage with a sense of humor
M42: A jaded and snarky sorcerer lord
Occupation: teaching, scheming
Origin: Prospero [830.M30]
Skills: sorcery, biomancy
Likes: the old ways of the legion, justice, knowledge
Dislikes: insolence, scheming, cruelty
Affiliation:
3rd fellowship, Pavoni Cult
The Legion's Netjer (teachers; cult adepts)
Cult of Knowledge, 3rd Sect
Equipment
Artificer Mk III Power Armor: A gift from Khnemu’s Terran mentor, Jul Pran; an ancient suit of power armor adorned with ibis & Pavoni motifs, commissioned in time for the Komenka Troika Xenocide. When observed in the astral plane, this baroque armor shines with a blinding lunar radiance, or suffocates all aetheric sight with an impenetrable darkness.
The Spear of Iah: This force-spear is inscribed with catalyst etchings attuned to Prospero’s moon. Its design pays homage to the spear wielded by the sorcerous Prosperine moon goddess of ancient myth, Iah.
The Hand of Tides: A wicked lightning claw that resonates with authority among the daemons of Tzeentch. Its scythe-like platinum claws constantly drip a black murk; its fullers are dyed a deep blue, a reminder of long past glories.
Retinue, Servants, and Allies of convenience
Ravi Suvesh: Primus Medicae; currently one of the few sorcerers allowed to tend to the legion’s precious geneseed. Former member of the Heroditine Cirle of the Legion’s Apothecarion, once attached to the 3rd Fellowship.
Arhnath Bharam: The Arch Magister’s sworn sword. Former Blade Master of the Khenetai Occult’s Naunet terminator elite.
Honored Mahendra: Guardian of Seshat; a revered sorcerer interred within an Osiron dreadnaught. Former master of the Pavoni arts.
His nine Magisters, including Heh & Yah, and their Thrallbands
Nenime the Corsair Princess: A funny eldar who should know better.
Notable Events
The Great Change
Xenocide of the Kamenka Troika
Secondment to the Salamanders Legion
Fall of Prospero; the assault on the Locis Mundus
Siege of Terra
The Rubric of Ahriman
Age of Burning
Siege of Fenris
Battle of Luna
Invasion of the Stygious Sector
Skirmish at Kaelac’s Bane
The Ritual of the Damned
Sect of the Drowned Moon
Tumblr media
Led by Fernando Khnemu, the sorcerers of the Drowned Moon are masters of lunar arcana and conjurations related to the warp’s abyss; when called to war, they bring to bear luminous powers and leviathan screamers of Tzeentch.
The Sect makes its home deep within Sortiarius’s shifting wastes in the Heaven of Seshat: a vast stepwell citadel watched over by a pair of ceratsus knights, the remnants of a jackal-helmed Khenetai Occult blade-cabal, and Naunet terminators.
The Sect also has great influence over Hara, a world of expansive salt flats and underground oceans, where permanent water can only be found where the surface crust has broken away to form enormous sinkholes. Hara’s human population, the Kin, are deeply spiritual and psychically gifted. Scattered among nine sorcerous clans, they provide the Sect with its favored soldiery.

So... Dear inquisition... Good evening. I come to you with a question you might the answer. Did the Thousand Sons have dreadnoughs ?
Citizen,
Absolutely. The Thousand Sons Legion did have dreadnoughts of all chassis available to them through the great crusade. They are also known to be the forbears of producing a dreadnought that could allow the interred Astartes the ability to use their psychic powers. This was based on the Contemptor type frame and was called the Osiron Dreadnought.

character color meme
I’m trying to nail down color scheme for some OCs, so I thought to make this into a meme.
Rules: Go to a color scheme builder (I like https://color.adobe.com/ but Canva.com also has one) and create a color scheme for one or more OC or character you like!
Tagging @redinkofshame @galadrieljones @cartadwarfwithaheartofgold @a-shakespearean-in-paris @idrelle @coldshrugs @ma-sulevin and anyone else who wants to!
Iwyn Lavellan (Dragon Age)

Branwen Lavellan (Dragon Age) (not entirely sure I like this, I think I like some silver in there too?)

The second image is an illustration of Bing Li, a woman with light skin and straight black hair, partially shaved to reveal rough scars along the side of her head. Her clothing is dark and loose, generalizing her silhouette, enabling her to be nondescript if she had her hood up. The case for a set of portable eating utensils hanging from her waist peeks out from under her hooded tunic, though the knife from the set is in her right hand. Her left arm is lifted slightly, blood magically extending from a small cut into a gruesome tendril. Handwritten beside her is her name, and her RPG class, Heretic.]

Fuck forced loyalty and imperialism—fled her shitty country when they eventually came to silence her.
Fascinated by and researching taboo magic—figure out why it’s taboo, and what good it can be used for.
Using blood whips and launching poisonous teeth that bud out of your flesh may be grotesque, but it’s not inherently “evil.” It all comes down to how it’s used, same as any other magic.
At level 8 you can become a blood puddle and ooze yourself through small spaces, or move through occupied spaces without being slowed or causing disengagement attacks! Gross? Maybe. Rad? I SURE THINK SO
Again, not to play favorites with a longer post, but I also get to draw her with enough funding! So, for a little more class info: Heretic can also make up to 3 Blood Dolls—simple undead companions formed from human or other corpses (which end up looking human, and you choose their appearance). They can be improved as you level up, too!
A deep dive post from Tyler, with more info on Bing Li and her class design:
