Everyone is allowed to have as many otp as they want but pretending that your ship is canon when you know so darn well that it's not just because you're too selfish to let other fans enjoy their own ships too is also so immature, Kakashi is canonically single and we can ship him with whoever we want including ourselves and our oc's and unless your name is Kishimoto, you don't get to decide otherwise... Hotch is in his office when he hears a soft knock on his door.

He looks up and sees Derek, and says, "Come in."

Derek shuts the door behind him and walks over to the side of Hotch's desk.

"Hey," Derek closes the door behind him "you..still coming to mine tonight" he bounces on his toes a little wondering if they are even going to talk about the argument they had the night before.

"yes." hotch said, looking down at his computer. he really didn't want to look at derek as he was still upset about the argument

Derek nods and sits opposite Hotch and bites his lip, he sighs and shakes his head.

"what" hotch asked, annoyed that derek wasn't leaving.

"nothing" Derek snaps back, hotch just glares at him.

"look derek, i have work to do, go sit with reid or something, he seems to be your new favourite person"

"what? Are you still mad about last night??"

"no"

"you are!" derek said standing up leaving and going home early hurt and upset

6:30pm Thursday 2nd september

Derek is sat curled up in bed hiding under his duvet holding one of hotch's shirts close as he hears his front door unlock he knows it's most likely hotch since only him and reid have keys but reid always calls before coming around.

Derek is too upset to move from the position he's in. He can hear hotch moving around downstairs, he can hear the fridge opening and closing and hotch is probably getting a drink.

Derek closes his eyes and just pretends to sleep in bed shuffling around as Hotch comes in and sits by derek.

"i know you're awake" hotch whispers and derek opens his eyes

"hi" Derek mumbles softly, not looking at the hotch and sniffing a little.

"you were right," hotch said, laying down next to derek "and i'm sorry"

"m sorry too i shouldnt of got upset and left" derek mumbles turning to face hotch

"it's ok, you're allowed to be upset" hotch replies kissing derek's head

"I love you" Derek mumbles, snaking his hands around hotch.

"i need to take my shoes and blazer off first" hotch replies

"no" derek grumbles pulling hitch into his arms

"I brought food with me," Hotch says, getting up and taking off his blazer and shoes and crawling back into bed and handing Derek a takeout bag.

"yep, your favourite" hotch said, opening the container.

"Mmm noodles," Derek smiles while sitting up.

"Here," Hotch handed him the box and a fork.

"Thank you" Derek mumbles, smiling as he starts to eat.

Hotch kisses his cheek and smiles and he starts to eat his own food.

Once they are finished eating, Derek leans his head against Hotch's chest.

As a brazilian, this one was HILARIOUS to me. He just has his shirt off because it's summer and bending is a physical exercise and he's going to sweat. This isn't him dramatically taking his shirt off at The Beach and a ton of fangirls appearing to drool all over him. This isn't sexual.

She's literally watching him and AANG practice firebending. That's all. Why are we making it about attraction, and why are we assuming she could only possibly be looking at Zuko when Aang is there too? By that logic, Ozai and Aang were checking each other out during their fight in the finale, and so were Zhao and Zuko during their Agni Kai - after all, they're LOOKING at EACH OTHER when NEITHER OF THEM has a SHIRT on.

Literally what about it? I legitimately don't understand this one. Touching her hair is somehow weird or flirty? It's just hair!

Is it because she's sitting next to Zuko? What, she's not allowed to be too close to a guy without it being suggestive/flirty in some way? Again, as a brazilian, I am VERY confused. Somebody help me out here.

As a girl that grew up being told "You saying you don't like this boy can ONLY mean that you secretly like him" and had to hear an unhinged woman call my 11-year-old self "her future daughter in law" just because I was friends with her son, I am BEGGING people to quit it with that bullshit. Being weirded out is not "admiting" there are feelings there. Stop it. Sometimes people are shy, sometimes they just genuinely don't like each other that way. Stop projecting.

(Also the only correct ways to do the mistaken for a couple thing is with the characters either just rolling with it "to avoid explaining" or to one of them to exaggerate on the awkwad denial and accidentally offend/upset the other, like it happened with Kataang in Cave Of Two Lovers)

"I don't remember any scene of Zuko or Katara fighting side by side with their sibling like they did with each other"

Also if we're talking side-by-side fighting stance that screams romantic symbolism, let's be fucking serious here. The dragons literally make a heart.

Katara actively resents the idea of being seen more as parent than as a friend, and Zuko JUST discovered the revolutionary concept of "Wait, a father burning his child's face is NOT normal????" Co-parenting my ass.

Katara literally shares the bed/Appa with Sokka during the entire Blue Spirit episode. And like this person pointed out themselves, the Gaang shares "a bed" and sleep next to each other all the time. Be thrilled that your OTP is having a moment that you could re-imagine as romantic, but let's not pretend any kind of intimacy MUST be sexual/romantic in nature.

"The scene of Katara comforting Zuko has parallels with his first scene with Mai at the start of the season"

This one was totally okay until the bullshit of "Mai's kiss and hug didn't help Zuko feel better at all and after this he shuts her out." During all of Nightmares And Daydreams we see him cuddling with her, Mai trying to cheer him up, and him even confessing his inner-turmoil about having to essentially put on an act to please Ozai.

She grew a lot as a character and Zuko didn't take her joke in that first episode to heart. He is doing the exact opposite of shutting her out, he actively turns to her for comfort.

Yes, and? Seriously, what about it? Is there a line missing here? Am I not seeing something? WHAT IS GOING ON?

Putting this last so no one is forced to read the wall of txt. I still have a lot of unfinished ramblings but nothing that would make sense to show. I started to write some small bits for my own amusement and positive vibes based upon a soft OTP promt list (or what ever it was called). It's only stupid conversations and I think it's nothing for AO3, so probably just throw it here whenever I finished one.

Aon pulled on his black bolero jacket and looked at herself in the mirror next to the large closet in Kurt's apartment on the top floor of the Sapphire with an unimpressed expression.

"You don't like what I've chosen for you?" Kurt asked, still beeing busy in the bathroom.

"No... yes. I mean. No, I don't like all of this." She grimaced a little more and turned around to look at the elegant suit trousers and expensive shoes she would be wearing tonight.

"Fancy clothes, putting up with brainless snobs at glamorous parties. Pretending to care about what they do and who they are. I really don't know why you like that so much."

"You'll have fun, I'm sure of it." Kurt came back to the main room and took his leather harness, which was still lying on the bed, and put it around his shoulders. He chose a more elegant garment than usual for tonight aswell, as Alyona had demanded, but he wasn't going to abandon all of his military habits.

"I'll have fun at the bar. I know that for sure."

She was still tugging at the jacket, as if she was trying to minimize the revealing neckline of the top.

"And you had to pick something so provocative, didn't you? Well, at least it's not a glittery cocktail dress. You could have worn that yourself."

Kurt laughed heartily at the last comment, took a few steps over to her and fastened the last buttons on the collar of his black shirt.

"You look fantastic."

That didn't really convince her.

"Oh, shut the fuck up. I feel like I'm playing dress-up."

Kurt was now standing behind her, looking in the mirror with her, still smiling.

"Still, I'm glad you decided to come along. I don't think it will do you any harm to see something other than the workshop." He put his hands on her hips and leaned forward a little. At least he liked the sight of the two of them in the mirror.

"Hmmm, what I wouldn't give to spend all night fixing that Chimera-Junk gathering dust in your warehouse...", she replied with a playfully dreamy tone.

"You enjoyed the evening at the Totentanz. You can't deny that."

"You're seriously comparing your fancy-pants party to the thing at the Totentanz?"

"It was a party, you didn't want to go and you ended up enjoying it."

Her face twisted into a grimace.

Kurt couldn't help but laugh again when he noticed Aon blushing and quickly turning away from the mirror so he wouldn't notice.

favourite thing about them: I love that she was allowed to be girly while also kicking ass. I feel like in anime and a lot of modern media, people don't allow strong female leads to be girly AND strong, it's always one or the other. I love that she likes pink and fuzzy things and that her mask is still cutesy. Like imagine being killed and the last thing you see is a cute rabbit mask. THAT is badass to me

least favourite thing: Through no fault of her own, it was just the writing Sui Ishida put her through, but I don't like how she became so reliant on Kaneki in :re if that makes sense? I understand that she became pregnant (which is a whole other arc I fucking hate but anyways) and that she really did have a hard time with trust growing up and through Anteiku she learned trust again BUT in the same breath I feel like she was robbed of kicking ass in :re? Idk if that makes ANY sense 🗿

brOTP: Touka and Hide! I think they would be really good friends after everything goes down and that they's have gossip sessions IDKKKK. Hide would absolutely hype Touka up to ask out Yoriko. I also really love Nishiki and Touka too like they are clearly besties.

OTP: Touka and Yoriko :) They are the lesbians of all time ever. I made a whole little drabble and headcanon post for them and everything. They are SO sun and moon. I don't hate TouKen but I feel like their relationship should have been better developed.

nOTP: Anyone that isn't Kaneki or Yoriko I guess? Nishiki and Touka make me physically recoil so DEFINITELY not them. Plus Nishiki and Kimi are the heterosexuals ever.

random headcanon: She used to draw on herself when she was younger because it helped her calm down. She also drew on Ayato whenever he allowed it and it became a sort of way to bond and take care of each other before everything went to shit. I like to think that the last design Ayato drew on her arm was her first tattoo :)

unpopular opinion: She never needed to marry Kaneki to prove that she had value in his life. I know that it was to wrap the series up in a neat little bow and because she was pregnant BUT I feel like it was forced. She had value to Kaneki outside of just their romantic relations.

Why I like my top 4 otps an updated summary:

1) Kanthony: I love it entirely for Comedic purposes if I'm being honest with you, Anthony pretends he's super serious in all the other books. In his book we learn he's a total dork. Infront of Kate he's an out of depth horny teenager that makes me giggle. And Kate is not too far behind in dumbassery, kanthony is that couple who was supposed to be a romantic drama and ended up as a comedy instead

Polin: THE DRAMA! *Cough* I mean, contrary to popular belief no, I don't like polin because of the friends to lovers trope. I love them because of the whole, 'character who always pretends to be nice is actually just one insult away from burning down the place' romance. Which is seriously something so compelling, the thin line of Chaotic romance that is Polin, Colin and Penelope's temper when they set each other off! Chef kiss! Angry kiss!! Hungry kiss!.

Philoise: I'm just a fan of found families. And I love romantic relationships where the female lead just owns the story, lays down the law and the male lead goes along with it without being any less of a Alpha male. It's just really cool ok (Actually Phillip is right up there with the not-afraid-of-a-dominant-heroine male leads in that I adore, like Peeta Mellark, Captain America, Felix from Wreck it Ralph... The beginning part reminds me of the confrontation scene in 'love is a blister' where the counselors put Trouble on trial for loving Luke---the reality of it is they and everyone at camp only know what Luke & Trouble have shown them, but everything between them is private and their own. They didn't expect him to leave her behind. There are a lot of references throughout the series and especially in 'solipsism' where his last time alive as his waning sense of self he goes to visit Trouble who's fresh from visiting Annie in 'love is a blister' and he literally is burning through his old self as kronos overtakes his body. He couldn't imagine not being able to say goodbye before becoming true vessel and well in TLO, teeeechnically what happens and what i plan to write i--[GUNSHOTS]

Kydi is pretty ded at the moment so here are some of my HCs

I'm not "Kyle forgives Heidi for the Cartman shit and redpill/antisemitism right away and they get together immediately." At all. I view them as not really being around each other at all for the rest of Elementary School and all of Middle School.

I like to think they get together for real in high school. They are both incredibly smart and in all the honors classes together.

They get paired up on an assignment and it's really fucking awkward, given their history. Kyle knows that Heidi has been unassuming and presumably kind enough outside of those few weeks with Cartman, but like...he doesn't know what she really thinks nowadays. Heidi also (deservedly) assumes Kyle probably still hates her for what went down.

They get along, but things are still extremely awkward as both have their guards up and are unwilling to address the elephant in the room. As it becomes increasingly clear they're both attracted to one another, it gets increasingly awkward.

Eventually as the mutual pining bubbles and bubbles, one day Kyle just sorta straight up asks her about all of it. Like "Hey remember all that shit with Cartman and you calling me a filthy Jew? I think we need to talk about that before anything else."

Heidi is genuinely remorseful for all that shit. She's been trying to make amends in terms of putting her efforts to positive charities, activism, etc. But the biggest problem is that instead of addressing what she did, she tried to pretend it never happened. And well...she was literally only ten years old, but Kyle and her actually discuss things like the more mature teens that they have become.

Only after they air out all that baggage and work through it, does Kyle finally formally ask her out.

Once they're together, however, they become absolutely insufferable to everyone else. Over night they become that obnoxiously perfect nerd couple that are obsessed with each other, finish each other's sentences, and seem to always be on the same wavelength. Stan is happy for Kyle, but he gets super annoyed in the beginning.

(Note: i do like style, but in universes i think of where Kydi is a thing Stan and Kyle only have platonic feelings for each other.)

Kyle and Heidi stay together the whole time. Even Creek break up temporarily (Creek is my OTP and isn't a slight against them, I love them getting into petty fights and saying they're done for good when it's clear to everyone that's bullshit) but Kyle and Heidi just... don't. Which doesn't mean they don't have arguments like any couple, they're just that annoying couple that never breaks up.

At the same time, it's not like they're hated or anything (except by a seething Cartman). It's mostly light-hearted eye rolling. I see them both as decently popular in high school.

As an adult, Heidi converts formally to Judaism. Kyle isn't extremely religious (and it wouldn't be an Orthodox conversion) and he'd marry her even if she didn't (so it's not just a "marriage conversion") but she genuinely wants to. Plus, she knows it means a lot as it's matrilineal and means their kids will be Jewish.

They have a nice Jewish wedding shortly after they get their bachelor's degrees and have kids after they get their graduate degrees. I like to think that the kids in post covid are theirs.

They both have decent yet not-flashy jobs, and are both very family-oriented and a very cute and happy family💕

mmm ok there are lots and lots of different ways to interpret this and i don't particularly have an exact moment for when they actively fell in love w each other (i think it was too gradual and natural to have a specific starting point) but i would say will was the first to figure it out, probably prior to s1, while mike figured it out at the end of s3.

(i will add tho,, i do think there's smth to be said for the concept that mike actually knew his feelings for will when he was younger and made an active choice to ignore them and/or genuinely thought he liked el and convinced himself the will thing was a fluke. not usually the interpretation i go with for fics etc but maybe worth exploring??)

this is another either/or type of situation, but i do think once will knows he's Allowed he'd be the clingiest bf ever and do things like this all the time.
