Taking a break

I will be uninstalling tumblr during this period and won't be able to reply to any messages. I'm sorry.

I am taking a break. I don't know how long I will be taking a break but in the mean time I won't be using tumblr. This past week I have become overwhelmed with sharing fundraisers to the point that I am spending a significant chunk of my day sharing them. Pushing back things like eating.

To the Palestinians I am letting down, including ones who are in contact with me, I am truly sorry. I made promises of continually sharing campaigns that I knew I couldn't keep. I am so so sorry.

I am diagnosed with ocd and have been for a few years. Recently, it's been getting worse. Wanting to help Palestinians has quickly become an obsession and compulsion for me.

I can't help anyone if I can't help myself first. I hope I am able to help in a more healthy way soon.

If I get money, I will still donate to as many of the campaigns I am aware of as possible.

In the meantime, I will tag a few accounts that Palestinians and anyone fundraising can contact to spread their campaign.

You know that funky white shirt with red block print kinda design that Sam wears in this episode? Last week when I was doing Sam's wardrobe poll, someone described this as a white shirt with red design that kinda looks it's inside out. I always thought they said that because the print color is kinda dull but no. I just noticed that the print on Sam's rolled up sleeve cuff is literally darker than the print on the rest of the shirt. So i guess.. it is kinda like inside out thing

you knew this was coming but I hate Dean here. He doesn't give Sam a chance to explain.. his first move is to punch him in the jaw. Twice! Notice how Sam doesn't fight back. While I know Dean means well and he is trying to "save Sam" from going dark, but buddy, you didn't have to punch Sam. See Sam is a reasonable guy. Ruby didn't get through by throwing punches. She literally showed Sam the silver lining of using his powers. Dean could have talked his brother out of this but no, he had to turn this into 'Me or Ruby'. So ya, Fuck off Dean!

Hello! I wanted to make a poll asking my fellow langblrs/studyblrs what language/test should I focus on the latter half of 2024! Penny for your thoughts? (I'm promise this is not one of those infamous "what language should I learn?" posts)

The main reason for this poll is I'm moving to South Korea next year to study abroad. I don't really have to worry about Korean as I've passed TOPIK 6 and that is in effect for another year. Since I'm going to be a busy undergrad, I'm afraid I won't be able to focus on my language studies as much as I want to so I'm trying to see what should I focus on while I can.

Background info: I have passed JLPT N3 equivalent in Japanese. I'm studying for a diploma in pali. I've also passed HSK 4 in Chinese but the certificate is nullified. I'm thinking if I should renew my HSK certificate by studying for HSK 5/6 (I can pass HSK 5 with very little effort) or just focus solely on getting JLPT N2 since I already got a N3 certificate this year. I can also do both but I'm afraid it would be ill-advised, hence the poll.

Logically, both JLPT and HSK will work in my favor in South Korea for obvious reasons. But to be honest, I don't really care about what works out well in a resume. I'm just in a time-crunch since I also have to pass my diploma in Pali (that one's non-negotiable because if I pass my diploma, I can start attending Bachelor classes and I want to get a degree in Pali so bad.) So I just wanna get some perspectives or thoughts on this!
