I don't know who you include in the Yu-gang but now that you're talking about rivals, how about Otogi, Kaiba and maybe Ryou/Bakura as the rivals in Papa John's?

Kaiba and Otogi, yes, but I have some special plans for the Bakuras already >:) They're gonna be from Pizza Hut

I'm probably gonna add Mokuba(teen) and maybe Noa, but I still need like one more character. I wanted to do Mai, but I figured she'd do batter in a different establishment. If Kaiba really were her boss, she'd probably just quit on the spot, I don't think she'd have the tolerance for his attitude lol

Does your muse make any strange noises? Or do they do anything relatively strange with their mouth unknowingly? Yes. Ryou has always been keen on wildlife sounds, and use to play a game with his mother to learn and mimic as many as he could hear. Before his father went into debt, they use to go on outings in to the woods to look for birds. Papa Bakura also had a fascination with birds and kept many journals, sketch books and specimens when he was more attentive. Ryou's mimicking skills came in handy in attracting birds to come near or to reply back.

When mimicking, Ryou has a habit of clicking his tongue in various rhythms. As a child, Mama affectionately called him her little metronome.

He sometimes also makes a pigeon coo, when bored.

How could she not.

Even when she was little Kisara knew she was different and had even started to take more of a notice of how some chose to treat her.

"Come on Papa, how many do you know with white hair... Not named Bakura."

She'd been babysat by him more than once, he always brought out the best games and they had such a fun time. One of a few who didn't leave her feeling out of place and made it easier to slowly accept parts of herself.

His eyes were glowing with a bright violet light when he looks over at his spider child. "Leave and go to your room like a good boy would you?" He then turns his attention back to the amulet he was holding. The pendant looks like it is latching itself to the ghost's hands. It looks utterly painful.

He's peering through the door, taking in the words, and frowning a bit, the spirit looked in pain and that did not sound like his Papa. He sighs softly, speaking up after a moment, "I-I told ya, Papa Kura, I'm not a good son. I ain't good, an' that means I ain't leaving you...that that looks painful."

The spider's entering the room fully, fur all on end now, and the pink markings glowing brightly in the darkness, "Y'shouldn't be alone in the dark. Always makes me think bad things are good ideas. Papa Kura, could I hold that for you, it looks like it's hurting you. I'm not takin' it, I jus'- it looks painful."

Wait, so Papa Pharaoh beseeched the Egyptian gods not to punish his son for his own misdeeds in creating the Millennium Items (which, it wasn’t his fault? Aknadin went sort of rogue?), supposedly sacrificed his own safety for that of his son… and yet, here we are, dealing with the consequences of his mistakes anyway?

So the gods said fuck you, your son is going to have to take the most drastic measures of all time to pay for your mistakes, including battling with a crazy man bent on the destruction of Egypt, wiping his own memory, and trapping himself within the Puzzle where he remained for 5,000 years.

I also have a tendership vampire romcom au with tragic ryou backstory (he almost killed his dad accidentally when his dad got him turned into a vampire... which is a long story) but like. as much as ryou kinda angsts about being a monster in the au it IS a romcom. and I find that hilarious

but yeah this scene is moments before disaster TM (ryou bites papa too much)

Possible Timeline Chunk in the Life of Bakura Ryou:

Lives in Egypt with his Dad before coming to Domino High in Japan (since he says that in DSOD)

Supervisor of the Museum dies in Shadi’s introduction

Papa Bakura becomes the owner of the Museum

Ryou transfers to Domino High, in the same city

Or maybe Ryou transfers there first, and Papa Bakura gets a job in the city at that Museum because it was convenient and close by to him (since Ryou says, in his introduction, that he lives “really far away from his family” now)

Kids finally stop falling in comas so Papa Bakura stays in town as well (allowing Ryou to be able to build the diorama for him later before Millennium World)

I have to admit, Papa Ishtar has grown on me. 

I remember when I had  to draw him for the sake of the Elem! AU Ishtar family a few years ago. From then on, I’ve been incorporating him in a majority of my AUs and having fun drawing him even though I struggle with his bone structure sometimes. 

I want to draw more of him and Mama Ishtar sometime. (Taphoshipping) ^^

Mr.Bakura and his obsession.

What if Mr. Bakura , like Gramps, was also reincarnated to set the stage. Where the loss of his wife and child, was a fragmented soul of TKB' father who after a millennia of a weakening Zorc, the existence of TKB's signature red cloak, and the scattered fragments of memory, was finally reunited with his family. However, as fate had it, his family was taken away again, and his soul instinctually sought out the Ring thinking that, once again it had stolen his family, but what he did was only bring the vessel for a Millennial rematch.
