Scientifically Backed Perspectives on Past Life Regression Therapy
Past life regression therapy has gained popularity in recent years as a means of exploring and potentially healing unresolved issues from past lives. While some may view it as a purely spiritual or metaphysical practice, there are scientific perspectives that shed light on the potential benefits and mechanisms behind this therapeutic approach. In this article, we will delve into the scientifically backed perspectives on past life regression therapy, including its benefits and the evidence supporting its efficacy.    Past life regression therapy involves guiding individuals into a relaxed state where they can access memories or experiences from past lives. These memories are believed to be stored in the subconscious mind and can be accessed through hypnosis or guided imagery techniques. While the concept of past lives may be controversial, there are several scientific theories that provide a framework for understanding the potential mechanisms at play during past life regression therapy.    One perspective is rooted in the field of psychology, specifically the concept of the unconscious mind. According to this perspective, past life regression therapy taps into the unconscious mind, allowing individuals to access memories or experiences that are beyond their conscious awareness. This can provide valuable insights into current life patterns, relationships, and behaviors. By exploring and understanding these past life experiences, individuals may be able to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and potentially resolve emotional or psychological issues.    Another scientific perspective comes from the field of neuroscience. Research has shown that memories are not stored in a single location in the brain but are distributed across various neural networks. It is possible that past life memories if they exist, are stored in these neural networks and can be accessed during a relaxed state induced by past life regression therapy. While more research is needed in this area, the potential for accessing and exploring these memories through therapeutic techniques is intriguing.    In terms of the benefits of past life regression therapy, anecdotal evidence suggests that it can have a profound impact on individuals. Many reports experiencing emotional healing, resolution of long-standing issues, and a sense of personal growth and empowerment. However, it is important to note that anecdotal evidence alone is not sufficient to establish the efficacy of a therapeutic approach.    Fortunately, there have been some scientific studies that have explored the effectiveness of past life regression therapy. While the research in this area is limited, a few studies have shown promising results. For example, a study published in The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease found that past life regression therapy was associated with significant reductions in anxiety and depression symptoms in a group of participants. Another study published in The Journal of Clinical Psychology reported positive outcomes in terms of reducing phobias and improving overall well-being.    It is important to acknowledge that the scientific community remains divided on the topic of past life regression therapy. Sceptics argue that the memories accessed during regression therapy may be products of the imagination or influenced by suggestion. They emphasize the need for more rigorous research to establish the validity and effectiveness of this therapeutic approach.    Conclusion
Past life regression therapy offers a unique and potentially transformative approach to exploring unresolved issues from past lives. While the scientific perspectives on this therapy may be diverse, there is evidence to suggest that it can have positive effects on emotional well-being. As research in this area continues to evolve, it is important to approach past life regression therapy with an open mind and a critical eye, recognizing both its potential benefits and the need for further scientific investigation.

MY SEPTEMBER READS. 💓
It’s been a productive month of reading for me, limited to manhua/manhwas. most of these are still ongoing so that may stop you from wanting to pick it up.
Tumblr media
previous reads & recs : ( there are ofc novels, manhua/manhwas i have read that are not included here but enjoyed, for example — tgcf. )
Q&A Rec answered July 2021 //Recent Reads Series: Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 // Part 4 // Part 5 // Part 6 // November 2022 // January - March 2023 // April - August 2023
Solo novel recs: Cherry Blossoms Upon a Wintry Sword // The Moon is Coming to Me
Traces of the Sun ( 2 seasons completed, Ongoing )
One of my favorites and the photo I used for this entire post. The best thing here is that the MC is a necromancer in a sense, cause his power is restoration. The primary use if of course to restore and fix his environment like building etc but he somehow did the “forbidden” application of it which is to restore dead humans. This is set in the future and has that scifi kind of feel cause humans have “powers” and there are doorways that open — which teams have to complete to “win”. If you like that kind of premise then you will enjoy this. It reminded me of The Earth is Online so I had no problem getting into the plot, but if it’s your first time — it might be confusing.
The ML ( Hyeon ) is a red flag kind of guy and makes a deal with the MC ( Yiseon ) at the start of the story. It can be pretty dark & gloomy at times but hang in there. The quests are really exciting and the team dynamic is good <3 Their romance is kinda slow burn and i live for how Hyeon “changes” because of Yiseon. I’m really hoping for a happy ending!
The Promise ( 41 chapters completed )
I WANT MORE. I NEED. I understand some projects are only allowed upto a certain number of chapters but this was too good and could use more chapters or even side stories. I need to see An Nuo happy and enjoying the real world! 😭😭😭😭
Anyway, I picked this up cause I wanted another scifi/dystopian type of story after reading TOTS. This has that same trope. People with powers, and this time MC is someone who has a low level to no power, spending his time at an underground laboratory that treats humans as lab rats. Then comes the ML, someone from the “outside world” who needs to awaken his other power so he decides to go to the lab. They meet and well, that’s where the story starts.
If you can’t tell, I enjoyed this story so much!!!! The MC is the best. An Nuo <3 he’s so smart and I feel for him cause he was born in the lab, so he’s never seen the real world. He doesn’t know what a blue sky even looks like. As a reader, I was so invested for him to succeed and gain his freedom after 18 years of being a prisoner. Then you have ML, AHHHHHH!!!! He starts off as an asshole but then becomes so devoted so he’s forgiven. 😂😂😂😂
I’m looking for stories that are similar to this, so if you know one, let me know. ^^
Again ( 60 chapters completed ; ongoing side stories )
Regression. Entertainment Industry Setting. My weakness, so there’s no way i wouldn’t like it. But even tho it’s a trope I like, it’s still exceptional! Even if you don’t like this trope, it’s a solid story.
So you have the MC Han Nokyoung, who is an A list celebrity with a foul attitude. A scandal happens and he dies — then wakes up years before the incident so he decides to change things to have a better ending. He becomes entangled with Kang Junil in his “new” life — the same person who caused his scandal/downfall.
I like how the story flowed, and how the MC was portrayed as the scumbag he was in the past. There was no excuses, he was foul and did things that harmed people. So he has to atone. He has to change things if he wants to have a better future. There were also parts that I was scared that things will not change even if he chooses a different direction. The MC & ML romance too! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I love them! They are destined to be together. <3 KANG JUNIL BEING POSSESSIVE IS MY FAVE!
SKETCH ( Ongoing, Season 1 completed )
thank you for @ourbeloved1011 for recommending this!
They are precious! The art is beautiful! 💟
Tumblr media
Modern story with two people trying to find their way into a relationship. The MC (Yikyung) is a smol bean that we must protecc! He loves too much and is the kind of person the ML (Joobin) just needs. I have to say it’s one of my comfort stories. It’s sweet. Funny and the smut is very hot without being vulgar. I swear, you can have 3 chapters of smut and it’s glorious!!!!
The age gap is also delicious. Even if it’s ongoing, I encourage you to read it. 🤍
HEARTHROB/ High Pulse ( Ongoing 24 chapters )
I usually don’t pick up stuff that’s just 20+++ chapters cause I think it’s too early to get a hang of the story or i would want more and have nothing. However I was intrigued, since it’s High School setting and Omegaverse.
Shut up. They are so cute! There is something about first loves & young love that gets me! It’s not all fluff and cute — i just wanna wrap them in a warm blanket and let them be happy. Anyway, in this setting, the MC/ML are turning 18 and that’s the time that they will be differentiated into Alpha/Omega or not. ML is expected to be an Alpha, and MC into an Omega. The MC has a heart condition, hence the title.
It’s just sweet. Sometimes i need a story that will make me squee!
LOOK AT THEM <3
Tumblr media
( one of my favorite parts of the story 🤣🤣🤣 )
Love Meter 100 % ( 7 chapters completed )
A short and hilarious read!!!! MC is addicted to playing a RPG that is BL themed. He has a favorite character that he likes and one day, meets someone who looks exactly like that.
Don’t expect a ground breaking story. The plot twist is very nice tho.
Reunion ( Season 1 Completed ; Ongoing )
This story should be adapted into an Anime or a TV series cause it’s that good. The story telling is A +. If you love a non linear narrative and unreliable narrator then this is for you. My god. The mystery. The heart ache. The yearning. I’m freakin clenching my fists while reading it cause i can feel everything. Even how the panels are drawn adds to the story. Definitely up there as one of my top reads of the year.
the art style is gorgeous. the conflict is — AAAAHHHH!!! I can’t say too much to not spoil anyone reading this but if you read the summary, you’ll get an idea of what’s going on. MC pretended to be someone and had a relationship with the ML. Things happen, ML comes back and they meet each other but he (ML) forgot what happened (or did he????) and well… we try to uncover what really took place that summer and how they can have their happy ending this time.
Tumblr media
This is a treat to experience. As a reader, you have to try and piece things together. You also can’t trust their recollections of what happened yet.
If there is 1 story you have to read in this post, let it be this one. It needs more audience!
Blood and Love ( Ongoing ; Chapter 20 )
The combination of someone who is fascinated with vampires + is a sunshine boy meets an actual vampire premise. Add that with uncensored smut. I really enjoyed it for what it is and i got so much secondhand embarrassment from the MC being such a simp 😂😂😂
No Moral ( Season 1 completed ; Ongoing )
I chose this because it’s set in a law firm — ML being a partner & big shot and MC a new junior associate. I did enjoy reading First Class Lawyer before so i thought to give it a chance, I made the right decision. 💕
It’s plot heavy and there are technical words but it didn’t turn me off. The cases are also interesting and this honestly makes me want to pick up the novel cause i wanna know what happens next. The hints of potential romance between them is 💓 and I hope that they get to a good place together.
Tumblr media
I really like the character of the ML. Seheon Kang. He’s such a bitch. He reminds me of “Harvey” from the tv series Suits, all the attitude but none of the vices & women. He has family issues and will do everything to win. He may come off as stone-cold but he actually cares in his own way. Most of the comments I read about him, especially early on in the chapters is that he’s an asshole and they hate him. But it’s him. That’s how he is. I guess most people are going into this thinking it’s a “romance” and the ML should be this gentle dude. Well, “No Moral” is so much more than a romance. Even if this wasn’t a “BL” i would still read it for what it is. I love seeing him slowly lose his walls because of the MC tho. All I want for him is to have his freedom and get the taste of “someone” being on his side and will never leave him.
As for the MC, Yunshin, he’s definitely and Idealist. This is why he often gets into conflict with the ML. He’s young and usually does pro-bono cases ; He believes that the law always sides with the “innocent”. Tho he may come off as naive sometimes, I still that fight in him, especially when he does his best to pass Seheon’s tests!
I am excited for where this story will go ♥️
Everyday I want to be Number 1 ( till Chapter 23, Ongoing )
The trope of MC being the second place all the time and he wants to beat the ML who is always first place in academics and everything else. Then they get close and sparks fly ✨ I have read novels and other Manhuas like this but this one still got me.
A feel good read. Not sure if i’m gonna continue but I liked what i read so far.
Someone like you ( Season 1 completed ; Ongoing )
It’s sad and depressing. LOL. Idk why I picked it up but so far, I can’t help but feel frustrated with what’s happening. Some people who read this compared it to “Reunion” because they had a shared past and got separated. Also the gaps in ML’s memory regarding the MC. Also the MC thinking that their relationship is doomed. However, I think what’s lacking here is there is no “hope”, even if they communicate well, i feel like they keep going back to step 1. I understand why but it’s not making me want to continue on to the next seasons.
The art is very pretty tho ^^
Merry Marbling ( Chapter 33 ; ongoing )
First of all, everything is so pretty ✨ How can I resist? All panels are a treat!!!!
Tumblr media
I was here mainly for the art, but I didn’t expect to get invested in the story that much. It may look like a superficial high school / slice of life kind of story but it’s so much more than that. Ian ( black hair ) is Mister Perfect. He is known as the “Angel” of their area and he literally can’t do no wrong — everyone likes him. Enter the new student Yugun, my dear sickly-angry-kitten son 😂😂😂 He doesn’t know Ian’s “history” & doesn’t get the hype about him. The story flows on their journey of being strangers to enemies to friends to lovers. 💕
I’m loving their character growth. Ian who does his best to please his mom and be the “perfect son” to being able to express himself and not think too much about what people will say. I really feel sorry for him, cause he’s a kid — he is allowed to make mistakes. The instances where he cries and almost has breakdowns when he does something wrong is not right. And it’s Yugun who calls him out on it, also encourages him to let loose sometimes. Yugun— who is closed off starts believing that he can have people to depend on, especially Ian. I really love Yugun 😂 He is chaotic. Don’t let the cute face fool you. He is a savage.
It’s also a really funny read. ^^ + the side characters are the type who add to the story, especially Mi Rye!
Follow your Heart ( completed )
Hello! Look at how beautiful they are! I am weak. Very weak. An upright taoist cultivator who lives high up in the mountains and a demonic cultivator that owns the Ghost Valley. My favorite trope! 😍😍😍 Also Mister Demonic Cultivator waited for his love to come back after 100 years. I mean…. This Manhua is a combination of all my favorite things!
Tumblr media
The pairing reminds me so much of Hua Cheng x Xie Lian 😭😭😭😭 I wish there were more chapters, cause it’s only 53 but part of me thinks they already told the story they have to and there is no use in prolonging it.
Anyway, the story is not that deep, compared to other plots in the same genre. You only have to know a few people and their goal is clear. If you’ve read or even watched stories with Cultivation World as the backdrop, it’s easy to get confused and there are a couple of subplots, you won’t have that problem with FYH. Ye Zigue needs to find his body and transfer his soul core in order to live again, also find out the truth about what happened years ago. The best part for me tho is the ML. Jiang Shu. 💕 He has that whole Hua Cheng thing going on for him. AHHHHHHH!!!!! He is perfect. Exactly the type of ML I prefer reading about. I usually prefer modern manhua/manhwa setting but decided to give this a go cause it’s already completed, so happy that I made that decision <3
Civilian A ( Chapter 24 ; Ongoing )
I should stop picking up stories that are only 24+ chapters but I can’t help myself. Esper/Guide trope which I haven’t really been reading that much of. I think it’s the same as Sentinel/Guide. && the art is beautiful so….
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pairing is Gold! Especially the ML, Yool, who is a scary S+ Esper who everyone avoids but for some reason is a puppy to our MC. There is obviously some backstory here, early on in the chapters, we are given the impression that they knew each other when they were young. ML did something along the way to keep MC safe and forget him. I recommend that people wait this out, the recent chapters are just getting exciting. Tho romance is a big part of the story, there is also a backdrop of politics and some commentary on the society. Definitely one that I will be waiting on every week to update. 💜
==============
BONUS: Other books ( physical ) I have finished this Month. <3
I’ve been wanting to try “before the coffee gets cold” trilogy and decided why the hell not. It’s definitely my kind of read. It’s not a very long book and you have 4 “short stories” in each but they are connected at some point. The concept of time travel here is unique ( you can only go to the past or future but you have to be seated in a particular chair. you can’t get up from your spot. nothing will change in the past or future no matter what you do or say. you can only see people who have been in the cafe too. your time is up when the coffee gets cold. ) and the stories will affect you. Reading this makes me want to visit this cafe lol to experience it. ☕️ only finished book 1 & 2, i’m saving the 3rd for October.
Tumblr media
Jujutsu Kaisen 0. I rewatched the movie for the nth time so I picked up the manga too. I’ve also been collecting the official volumes and will get to that next. ^^ and I’m a Yuuta Simp so… 🤷🏻‍♀️
Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 1-5. Same with JJK, i’m getting the volumes so reading em too. A perfect read to de stress after work.
Dune - I’ve always wanted to read this book cause as a sci fi fan, everyone said this is one of the best, but that made me so intimidated by it that i didn’t pick it up for years. and the fact that the copies i see are the really small and thick ones. But I watched the film last year and really enjoyed it, even re watching it so that’s when I knew i could “handle” it. I enjoyed every bit of it and I can’t wait to see the scenes come to life in the film this November ^^ I’m not planning on continuing on with the other books tho, I’m fine with just this one.
I have to say it’s been a really good reading month for me and I hope to maintain my momentum in the next couple of months. Not putting too much pressure on myself tho, but I hope I get to discover more enjoyable reads. ^^

So I’ve been working on an epic fantasy series for the past four years, and this JK Rowling thing has honestly made it real for me.
I’m trying to break into a male/white-dominated genre as a black, feminist woman. Whatever few advantages I do have (my voice, perspective and style being unique as an East African for example, or getting special spotlight from liberals who want to “celebrate poc authors” just because they’re poc) are thrown into complete uncertainty because of my beliefs.
For one, I’m a radical feminist. So I’ve already pissed off white liberals and white conservatives, which, let’s be honest, are the largest contributors and consumers to and in the fantasy sphere. Looking at what’s happening to Rowling and even Chimamamanda, I have no confidence people will be normal about my beliefs. For example, everytime I criticize gender, even online, white liberals accuse me of being pro-colonialism and imperialism, despite me literally growing up in a neocolonial state, having a national independence the same age as my dad, and having grandmothers and grandfathers who were slaves, and the children of people thrown into concentration camps. I’m talked over by white liberals and the moment they can successfully label me a terf, I’m successfully censored as a small artist and critic of oppressive systems. They are so willing to put down pocs that don’t agree with every little thought because their anti-racism has been solely performative.
And I am a feminist, which is high on the list of “most likely to piss off white man.” The increase of anti-woman propaganda, the increase of violence in that propaganda, the virtual and social “witch-hunting and burning”, the insane vitriol spewing from the mouths of men who only wanted a socially acceptable target to spill all their hate on: Brie Larson, Amber Heard, Joanne Rowling, and all sorts of female artists and professionals.
And what about my gay/lesbian/bisexual/transsexual characters and complex egalitarian/matriarchal societies? My books would be banned by my own government to the jubilation and relief of its majority Christian and Muslim population. In East Africa, homophobia is on the up and up. So what I’m looking at is virtually no support.
Unless I keep quiet about everything I believe about the world and myself. But how do you do that? How do you tell yourself “I’ll set aside the very urgent activism that needs to be done for the sake of profit?” How do you feign silence on the oppressed communities and the mistreatment of their humanity? For profit? It would be like cutting off my arm.
But I can’t not make my art. And I can’t not give it. And I can’t not live my life according to what I believe. I am passionate about justice and social change as I am passionate about my craft. How can I give either of them up?
Anyway, I’m gonna do it. Of course. Sales be damned. I doubt I’ll go with a pseudonym, because my books are mine, and my ethnic name is a rarity and victory in itself in the genre. I can’t give that up. I’ll have to be strategic but I have to live my life independent of the world’s regression. How else am I supposed to create a sanctuary for myself and other’s like me? I cannot wait for oppressors to grow a conscience.
Nevertheless, I’m gonna have a lot of banned books and in just my 20s! The amount of censorship will render me a literature outlaw all over the world! :)))) If I ever get a Wikipedia page, it’s going to be hella exciting and one helluva cautionary tale.

Maladaptive Daydreaming: How Does Daydreaming Ruin Your Real-Life Experiences?
Today, I'll be explaining to you why daydreaming is taking away your real-life experiences. When you daydream, you spend time in an imaginary world, a world of your own creation, just in your head. So, there are two aspects here: the aspect of time and, of course, when you spend 3 to 4 hours a day in the imaginary world, that's 3 to 4 hours lost of real-life experience. The more you do that, the more you go on adventures, all those things in your imaginary world create good stories.
The more you are losing precious time you should have used in this real world to visit new countries, explore new cultures, meet different people, build relationships, network, look for a job—all those real-life experiences which you know will help you grow. So, it doesn't matter how long you spend in your imaginary world; with these imaginary experiences, you are wasting time which you could have used in real-life experiences or to recreate those imaginary scenarios in real life.
Of course, it won't be the same, but this is real life. What grows you is in real life. The more you keep doing it, the more you find yourself 20 years, 30 years down the line, then you reflect back on your past, you just think about the time you invested in the wrong place. When you invest in your dreams or when you invest most of your time in your paracosms, it's like investing in a ship which you know will sink.
It's like investing your money in an investment opportunity which you know will not have a return, but in fact, it will even lead you further into debt. That's the same thing with daydreaming. When you invest in your daydreaming, this investment you are putting in there will not really grow or grow you; in fact, it will make you regress further because you are pushing a lot of people away. You'll get to the point where you will not even have friends. The only friends you'll be having in real life probably will be, let's say, on Reddit or online forums, but not deep quality friends like real-life friends—friends whom you can look up to or whom you can call to share with family and all those things. So, you miss out on all those things because of the time you spend in your imaginary world.
The other instance now where daydreaming robs you of your real-life experience is you are so used to an experience which is so high, which is so euphoric, which is so good, like you've tasted so good, like you've hit the peak, because something about the daydreaming is that it  triggers the brain's reward system so that you experience this dopamine peak, like it's a high feeling. So, when you experience these high feelings, you will take for granted the simple life experiences. Simple life experiences here are the things which you find boring: eating, talking to your friend, commuting to a job, taking a walk, taking a shower, brushing your teeth.
Those are the simple things in life which we do on a daily basis, but because it doesn't have the excitement, you will not really be enjoying the experience. You'll be like, "These things, I can't wait to brush my teeth and then just go to my daydream," because you want a high. You don't want the boring, normal life because most of life actually is boring. It's just you finding excitement in it, but because you found excitement in something which is up there, you will find it really hard to find excitement in just even sitting down, watching a movie, playing a game with a friend, or just laughing with a friend, reading a book. You will not really find that excitement in those things because you have tasted a very, very high kind of excitement in your daydream.
That's why it will rob you of your life experience. You will not really find any joy in real life, any happiness, any kind of peace in real life. So, daydreaming will rob you of your life experience, and it may get to the point where you really feel that you cannot even experience anything in your life and you just need to daydream, you just need to run away. But you have a chance to experience real life.
You experience real life by facing the pain, not just looking for the pleasure. When you look for the pleasure, you're running from the pain. So, you experience real life by facing the pain. Once you face the pain, you start living, and it's not as hard as you are being told that, "Oh, actually, if you run away from pain for the past 40 years, you'll need another 40 years to overcome." No, it can be as fast as long as you are just committed and you are motivated. So, take your real-life experience back, and it's not that hard as you've been told by other people or by other articles or by other doctors or something. No, it's not hard to take your real-life experience back because all these things happen in your mind. The same healing which will happen will still happen here. So, you get stuck here, but healing will happen. The same mind. That's why it doesn't take a lot of time, as long as you know what really needs to be done. Hope that makes sense, guys.

I'm always on-guard against conservatism in my thought. I think of myself as left in my sympathies; I also know I'm at the age where youthful commitments morph, or break under the weight of compromise. Like the ones involved in life in the American professional-managerial middle class. Entry into a certain income bracket, the structure and demands of day-to-day life, the pieces of practical work, like the management of bills, that are necessary to stay afloat, and the many entertainments you can use to while away the hours you don't devote to a job—they all serve to narrow one's horizons; it's so easy to end up stranded in the cul-de-sac of your stupid individual existence. I also have some very rudimentary, instinctive associations I've carried with me since youth. Just as conservatism is bad—because retrograde, oppressive, contingent on baseline assumptions about the self-interest of human character to which I'm not willing to commit—"avant-garde" is good, because it challenges that conservatism. So it was interesting to come upon Dean Kissick's contribution to the feature "What Happened to the Avant-Garde?" in the latest issue of The Drift and think that, based on my last post, he'd probably put me in the arrière-garde—which favors what is past because it's a means to reject the present and future—while he locates the avant-garde in online communities at which I mostly look askance: "schizo-affect" Substacks, the work of Honor Levy, and other venues that seem to thrill to the possibilities that AI and machine learning technologies might hold for art and human subjectivity.
In these communities—products of an era of the Internet that's a little after the one I occupied, as a millennial closer to the middle than the end of that generation's span—"individual subjectivity," as Kissick puts it, "was forsaken in favor of pseudonymity, the impersonation of others, collective authorship, and collaborations with software." In isolation, I'm cool with each of these things except for the last one. Of course, there's no guarantee that any of them make for good art or lasting contributions to it—the title of Kissick's entry is "Senseless Babble," and he himself grants that "there's a fine line between nonsense doggerel and aesthetic innovation here, [as is] always the case with avant-gardes." And it's really too simplistic to say that the avant-garde generally is automatically good. Avant-gardes can be regressive; ours is pretty likely to be, as John Ganz wrote last year:
They pride themselves in being retrograde or blithely unaware along a number of axes, from declaring, as a last ditch Bohemian provocation, their fealty to conventional bourgeois values; their preoccupation with adolescence; appropriation of lower-brow or conservative religious themes; their affectation of not being the product of arts education but rather the native denizens of the dark underbelly of internet message boards; their deliberate cultivation of a sense of mental debility or confusion with results that less like Dadaist or Futurist experimentation and more just senseless chatter and maudlin ecstasy....
There's something akin to an accelerationist's empty zeal, too, in Kissick's piece, in claims like the one that the timeline has surpassed modernist poetry as a document of the collective unconscious and human subjectivity within it. A love for what is novel and ostensibly a challenge to what is simply because it's novel or a challenge. A love for form that disregards content. And a love that likely mistakes a mere turn of the wheel for something truly new and unprecedented. Turn the dial back ten or fifteen years and you'd find people saying much the same about alt-lit—though likely less effusively, jadedness and alexithymia being characteristic of that style and its partisans where volubility, profusion, and mania seem hallmarks of this one. We're saying something new, we thought then. And uneasy in the background hung the question: who knows if it's meaningful. (The answer, predictably: not very.) (But at least the question was there.)
Still, we're all here trying to articulate—to make something new, as in valuable, because it speaks to what only we can speak to.
But then there's Lisa Robertson in her novel The Baudelaire Fractal, which I just finished. The novel is another Künstlerroman, the story of an artist's formation, and over the course of her literary apprenticeship, the protagonist decides that, as she puts it, "I was no avant-gardist; I had no interest in abolishing grammar. Rather, I studied it, in a casual way..." Perhaps that's where my own allegiances lie—in working with the world as it is rather than abolishing it; exploring the possibilities it holds without tipping into what I think will degrade it, such as technologies like AI; most crucially, tempering the excitement of the new with some sense of what the new might be worth... Robertson's narrator, for her part, determines that her literary project will entail work with the sentence: "By what profound calculations," she wonders, "could the contours of the sentence be transformed, and what would I then become?"

Hey ninja.. I think hugh n olive oil red married already. They announced the date before a year to make people fool. So that the people will be focused on the date rather then them. Of course they will hva church ceremony marriage. But before that for sure. And also all those unlucky wannabe duchess westie girls bashing Olivia in lipstick alley. Those girls re the reasons why hugh kept his relationship low key. So much of hate they re spreading there (in lipstick alley), I wonder what those girls want. Does they want hugh to be single his entire life????
I am genuinely certain that those ladies on the blog you mention are not there coveting HG's title. Such assumption objectivies not only them but HG as well and that's not nice.
Literally anyone with some sense if self-worth outside the UK class system is not placing titles on a pedestal. Except for Megsy but she's the unkind kind.n
Also, even though we are on a blog, there are real human beings with real feelinga behind the user names. If you are not a snotty, rude and disrespectful person in real life - don't be online too. It's simple as that.
As for bashing O - see, I haven't seen much of her prior to engagement life but I think she needs some time to get proper not an early or secret wedding. And that is soming from a huge elopment and destination weddings fan.
I'll leave you with one thing to think about. It is a bit weird and just bear with me. In the Bible we all know the story of Adam and Eve - the snake whisperred into the ear of Eve abd she took the apple and gave it to Adam and they both ate it.
This is a garden which is not an empty space. A garden full of magical beings and with angels. How do you suppose that no one warned Eve of what she was about to do? Did they not like her? Did they not want to help?
Or was it that it's a free will if you are going to do something or not and no one in the Universe should meddle with free will. If you choose to perish - you will, if you choose to follow your Creator - you will.
A huge rule is: ask for help. Ask ask ask. And then quiet yourself and listen for the reply and the look at the signs. They are usually quiet? subtle. But they are there.
Why didn't Eve ask for help? Why didn't she? She thought she's talking to an angel. But she also knew the Law. And yet, she believed the whisperer.
.. Maybe this example is too confusing. I'll give one more. Few years ago I went to a past life regression therapist. He's really good. Helped me to experience how pretty you can feel as a sweet little fatty dragon.
We chatted before the session. I had just completed my akachic records and life path training and we discussed the place before you get born - the place of choices. With past life regression you can get there as well.
And we discussed a certain couple who give akashic records trainings and certification too. I told him - don't go there. I went and they do have connection to something, but they tell you that you need them to be initiated to talk to the angels and that is not how life works.
He immediately said - so that's what it it. I felt I didn't want to go there and I didn't know why. Now it makes sense.
.. I can spell it out some more but I feel like I shouldn't.

How Can Our Past Lives Influence Our Present Patterns of Living?
Summary
While it may seem far-fetched to some, many individuals believe that our past lives can have a profound influence on our present patterns of living. In this article, we will delve into the notion of past lives and explore how they can shape who we are today.
Introduction
While the idea of past life regression online courses may be met with skepticism by some, many believe that these past life experiences can leave a lasting impact on our present patterns of living. In this article, we will explore how our past lives can influence our present and shape the way we think, behave, and interact with the world.
1. Karmic Connections
One way in which our past life regression online course can influence our present is through karmic connections. Karma is the belief that our actions in past lives create an energetic imprint that carries over into our current life.
Our karmic connections can manifest as relationships or circumstances that we encounter in our present life, offering us opportunities to learn and grow from past mistakes or unresolved issues.
2. Soul Lessons and Growth
Each life we live is believed to present us with specific soul lessons and opportunities for growth. These past life regression online course lessons may be carried forward from past lives, as we continue to work on aspects of ourselves that require further development. For example, if we struggled with self-worth in a past life, we may find ourselves facing similar challenges in our current life, providing us with an opportunity to heal and overcome these patterns.
3. Phobias and Fears
Unexplained phobias and fears that persist despite having no apparent cause in our current life can be linked to past life experiences. These past life regression therapy fears may stem from traumatic events or circumstances that our soul remembers from a previous incarnation. By exploring and understanding these past life traumas, we can release the grip they have on us in the present, allowing us to move forward with greater freedom and emotional well-being.
4. Talents and Abilities
On the positive side, our past lives can also contribute to the talents, skills, and abilities we possess in our present life. It is believed that the knowledge and expertise we acquired in previous incarnations can be accessed and utilized in our current life. For example, a natural affinity for music or art may be a result of honing those skills in a past life. Embracing and developing these talents can bring us joy and fulfillment in our present existence.
5. Relationship Dynamics
The dynamics we experience in our relationships can be influenced by our past lives. Souls often reincarnate together in different roles and relationships to continue their shared journey of growth and learning. Our past life regression therapy relationships may carry echoes of unresolved issues or deep connections from previous lives. Exploring these dynamics can provide insight into patterns of attraction, conflict, and soul contracts that play out in our present relationships.
6. Innate Preferences and Interests
Have you ever wondered why you have a strong affinity for a particular culture, era, or geographic location? These past life regression session preferences and interests may stem from past life experiences. You may find yourself drawn to certain places, periods, or activities, feeling a deep resonance that goes beyond mere curiosity. Exploring these interests can help you uncover the roots of these connections and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
Conclusion
While the influence of past life therapy on our present patterns of living may not be tangible or scientifically provable, it offers a lens through which we can explore the complexities of our existence. By acknowledging the possibility of past lives and their influence, we expand our understanding of ourselves and open doors to personal growth, healing, and transformation.

Unit 1: Welcome to the Internet
Welcome to my detailed overview of Psych 532: Psychological Effects of the Internet!
The Internet became a huge part of my life when I entered middle school and regularly had access to the online world. Then, the Internet felt like the wild west and I went into it with little prior knowledge. I learned about the positive aspects of the Internet firsthand, such as its capability for connection and conversation no matter the distance. However, I was constantly bombarded with messages about the horrors of the Internet. I hope that my posts on this blog will arm middle school-aged children with an understanding of the positives and negatives of the Internet that will protect them while helping them.
The first unit of this course was a thorough introduction to the features of the Internet we would come to utilize most. This included familiarizing ourselves with the features of Canvas such as: posting on a discussion board, embedding a video, and embedding a link
Tumblr media
This refresher on the features of Canvas was beneficial for me, and I think it functioned as a great introduction to the course. The Internet has become an integral part of school for many students, which we will return to during a later unit, but comprehensive digital literacy is not taught in most places.
As you are likely aware, the Internet is widely feared. My childhood was bombarded with messages about how the Internet is ruining our brains and my parents would blame any and all symptoms of illness on my phone. This fear can also be seen in society's concern for what we now call "iPad babies" who spend more of their childhood looking at screens.
Tumblr media
But did you know that new technology has always been feared??
This unit described how, throughout history, technological advances have always been feared at first. These feared technologies have all eventually been accepted into society, but even the most basic advances were once feared in a way similar to how many Internet-based technologies and past times are currently feared. Some of these technologies include:
Recorded music!
In the early 1930s, people were afraid of recorded music as opposed to live music in movie theaters because they thought it would cause a regression in maturity levels
Television
This fear was rooted in the idea that watching tv requires little thought or effort
Even said to threaten to change creatures into eyeballs as big as cantaloupes with no brains!
Radios
Similar to the fear of Youtube and access to endless content
Newpaper
Similar to the fear of modern entertainment activities due to their potential to decrease communication between people
Telephones
Similar to the fear of social media and being able to communicate across space and time with ease
Calculators
Similar to the fear of spell-checking programs
This fear is motivated by the idea that technology that makes correcting errors easy would lead people to make more errors
Chess
Similar to the fear of video games
Books
People feared that books would harm the mind because it would not require them to memorize everything
This is similar to the fear of too much information being accessible on the Internet
Writing
Fears of the written word date back to Socrates, who believed that writing would lead to forgetfulness if people had to rely less on their knowledge and memories
This is similar to fears of Google and having access to an incredibly vast amount of information on the Internet
Pencil erasers
Similar to the fear of being able to make corrections easily on the Internet
Also connected to the idea that if errors are easily corrected then more will occur
