What’s Ripjaws’ relationship with Magister Patilleday like? Is it more mentor/student, or does Ripjaws see him more like a funny uncle?
The latter.
Patelliday would certainy like Ripjaws to see him as this badass, cool mentor figure but...come on, it's Patelliday.
The two of them don't really interact much either way. Whenever they do, sometimes Ripjaws will try and pretend like he looks up to Patelliday, just to make him happy.

Technology Officer Warner
finally got around to finishing this guys character sheet
Notes:
Technician/Technology Officer
technically works under Blukic and Driba, but ends up doing 95% of the departments work
the guy who keeps the Earth Plumber HQ running (he took a week off and the place nearly fell apart)
constantly being reassigned tasks outside of his division, which while he is technically qualified to do, aren't in his job description
not notorious is security detail and monitor duty
incredibly grumpy at this, especially since the Plumbers don't consider it over time due to his species cloning abilities
grumpy workaholic
though Max is in charge/higher ranking, Warner prefers to go to Magister Patelliday for reports as Magister Tennyson doesn't tend to take his concerns seriously
actually tries to avoid all of the Tennyson's on principle (he likes his work to remain in one piece)
went to Plumbers academy the same time as Rook, though the two didn't interact beyond a cursory hello in the hallway, they shared a few tech classes
completed his additional technician's course in record time due to taking multiple classes at once (he didn't get a full nights sleep as a whole unit for nearly 2 years straight)
highly intelligent, though limited in-field experience
a surprisingly good singer
does have a mischievous side, as he is known to readily help his fellow officers prank their higher ups or fellow agents (not that any of them can prove it)

I'm curious about 19 "Share a snippet from a wip without giving any context for it." :D
For the ask game.
19. Share a snippet from a WIP without giving any context for it.
“Alright, we all have our assignments. We’re going to be busy the next few days trying to coordinate with this many different planets, so remember to check in here frequently. Communication is key for this operation.”
“Don’t forget your diplomatic smiles, either, kiddos,” Patelliday said. “Might just keep you from gettin’ shot right in the keister!”
No one had to be told twice how important this was. They were doing this for the whole galaxy; for Ben.
“If I get killed doing this,” Kevin spoke up, “I want you all to promise me that you’ll never let Ben forget it. I want him to name his first-born after me.”
Gwendolyn set a hand on his shoulder and leaned over, kissing Kevin on the cheek. “Quit being so dramatic,” she said fondly. “You’ll be fine — and so will Ben, once we find him and I kill him for making me worry like this.” She stood up and gestured for Kevin to do the same. “Now, c’mon. I need a ride to Anodine.”

Ben and Benny Tennyson AU
Ben has a twin sister named Benny. Her full name is Benny Verdona Tennyson.
Benny has green eyes and blond hair, taking after Sandra. (Sandra made Carl swear they wouldn't try for anymore, and he agreed.)
Ben gets the Omnitrix. Gwen unlocks her powers. Benny gets to play with Plumber weapons.
She doesn't always get along with her brother, but that doesn't mean she always gets along with Gwen. Leading to an interesting roadtrip. She's more of the outdoorsy type, making her Max's go-to "co-pilot" who he lets hold the road map or brochures or even teaches her to fill up Rustbucket - she volunteers to help change flats or check tires because she helps her dad do that at home - is eager to try anything Max makes because she's just that kind of kid. Is best co-pilot, 10/10 Carl (and now Max) Tennyson approved.
Cash and JT pick on Ben? Benny picks on them back. She's a tomboy and girly-girl all rolled into one. She'll kick your butt wearing a dress or skirt and then show up to a tea party in camo pants and a pink shirt. So yeah, she's a menace.
She's not a fan of Frank and Natalie - the latter isn't too fond of her either - but they keep it between themselves. Which is why Benny isn't invited to Gwen's house for sleepovers ever.
During AF/UA
Benny wanted to be on the soccer team because there wasn't a girls team. But she was denied, despite being better than about half the people who showed up, so she decided to be on the track team. She will ride bikes with her brother to go from home to school so she stays active.
A bit resentful towards Gwen and even Verdona during "What Little Girls Are Made Of", especially after the latter tried to rip her physical form apart while the former didn't really do much to stop it. This led to her "leaving the team" because she didn't feel valued.
She and Cooper collaborate on inventions, but no romance ever came of it. The two just vibed with each other and thrived in each others company. During the final attack by the High Breed, she comes out in full force to help her old team, and they all reconcile about it - but she still can't fully forgive Gwen for almost letting her be ripped apart.
During Omniverse
She attends Plumber academy. Is the "apprentice" to Magister Patelliday - who just likes her company and will let her talk on and on about things while he works.

Some fic! Because I have to put firelizards in everything, I put them in Undertown.
~~
It wasn’t as if alien pets were new to Undertown. Sure, the Tennyson cousins had only known about the place for a year- and been very cross to learn Kevin’d had a spare apartment there since returning to Earth- while Rook had only been on the planet that long, but that was plenty enough to see the norm. From creeping crawling things to things that were all mouth, to things that- like Zed- could have been dogs if not for, it seemed like there was some sort of animal for every fifth alien you came across. They were everywhere, and you quickly grew used to them.
In fact, one generally didn’t see Earth pets down there, or if you did they mostly belonged to the few humans residents. Or they were cats. The status of cats in Undertown was politely ignored, though needless to say the gloves Argit had gotten Gwendolyn as a form of peace offering had gone over about as well as a lead balloon. But, aside from that, you didn’t really see Earth species. Even the bugs they ate down there were bred from imported stock more often than not.
According to Kevin it was because they were human domesticated. Apparently, creatures domesticated over millennia by one species just didn’t work and live as well with others. Most of the time it turned out better sticking with your own equivalent to the dog than trying to form as strong a bond with someone else’s. Ben had been the first to bring up, only half seriously, Zed, to which they’d gotten a shrug and an explanation that after everything he’d been through Kevin just had weird shit going on, which Gwendolyn had confirmed.
“You’ve got a watch that makes sure you end up back to normal,” she had said, “all he’s got is…” At which point she’d gestured at her boyfriend’s everything and that had been that.
The claim had actually held true, more or less, when the other three started paying attention. You would occasionally see crossover, but for the most part the animals you saw lined up with the homeworlds of the people that owned them. From the massive, fuzzy something that trailed after Pakmar’s brood to the bird-like, bug-like creatures that rested in nearly half the Kineceleran windowsills to the crystal-laden things the recent Erinaen immigrants had brought along, it seemed as if, as far as pets went, like went with like. A strange concept to sink into the three of them, one they had never considered or even thought about before. Still, the explanation was sensible, and everyone seemed happy with pets that worked for them, so far be it that they made any greater fuss than Ben teasing.
So of course, it was only after they’d accepted the matter into their worldviews that somebody had set up a flit supply.
Flits weren’t new to Undertown either, though up to this point they had only been able to narrow down a single owner. Dragonlike things in brown and blue, they were allowed to fly freely and could be found clustered on eaves and awnings. They’d only seen a handful, which still seemed a lot for one person, but that handful were a common sight on the main streets, watching people come and go, occasionally singing for scraps they nearly always got. There had been nothing to distinguish them as particularly special until the sign went up in one of the newer buildings promising a coming shop for ‘flit supplies, information, and eggs’.
By the time the ‘coming soon’ sign had been replaced with a ‘champion arrival’ sign, half of Undertown had been buzzing with interest. Even Patelliday had talked about going to check the place, and when Argit had first seen the sign his eyes had crinkled and ear twitched in a way that’d had Kevin immediately eying him with suspicion. Rightly so, because the following weeks had been filled with increasingly less subtle suggestions that he should check the place out. So serious was he on the topic, in fact, that he had eventually turned to Gwendolyn of all people.
“They’re seriously psychic,” he told her, “and they can teleport between people like that-” and snapped his fingers on the second try. Being a very intelligent person, and one who had been dating Kevin for about three years at that point, she had immediately picked up what he was putting down and joined the cause.
“Why do I keep either of them,” Kevin had asked afterwards, when pointing out that he owned a trained hunting animal had only resulted in them stealing Zed to presumably try to teach her that flits weren’t prey.
“You love Gwen,” Ben had pointed out, “and something something ‘woe is me Argit is the only reliable fucker in my life’.” Idly, he rubbed at where Kevin had broken his nose after the whole Rooter debacle as he said it.
“You guys really had to lower that bar, didn’t you?”
“We only wanted to help.”
“So I keep hearing.”
In the end he’d only been able to resist a week passed the opening, and only then because Argit had paperwork and Gwendolyn had school. As soon as they got the opportunity they dragged him out there, resigned to his fate of at least considering the matter. Ben and Rook had gone along, mostly because they hadn’t been able to check the place out either. There had been crowds they hadn’t been quite curious enough to deal with, not when they knew they’d be able to go as a group later anyway. Curiously, they had only seen people leave with things like books, videos, toys. A few with harnesses, but none with flits as they had expected.
Ben had asked Rook about it, then about why he didn’t know more, only to get a look like he was stupid and a reminder that Revonnah was not actually that much more involved with the rest of the Galaxy than Earth and Rook had gone literally from his hometown to the Academy to Bellwood. They both were, unfortunately in this case, backwoods mudball boys.
As such Ben had been trembling with his pent-up curiosity as they’d approached ‘Golden Mavovi’s’. He and Rook brought up the rear, with Gwendolyn and Argit flanking Kevin up front like he might try to escape. He’d sighed as they reached the door, followed Argit inside like it was any other shop, but the other two about ran into Gwendolyn’s back as they followed. It was, at first glance, a normal petshop. Bins of toys and treats, stacks of tinned food and refrigerated cabinets of fresh. Shelves of books and cds, of cleaning supplies, harnesses, and items of clothing. Beds, bowls, medical supplies, it was all there, and none of it was what had the Tennysons and Rook standing and staring.
There had always been a few blue flits, a few brown, hanging around Undertown. In the prior weeks a small green one had shown up that they had assumed belonged to Mavovi herself. Turned out, however, it wasn’t just the one green. A quartet of them clustered together in one of the larger beds on display. A brown lay with them and several more sat scattered around the place with a small of number of blues. But what really caught the eye were the big ones, their hides shining metallic. Two in shades of bronze napped on the shelves, one’s wings draped over the sides and the other curled into a tight ball, and one, the largest of all at the size of a small dog, sat gleaming a brilliant gold on the counter. It’s eyes whirled in shades of green and purple as it watched them all, a regal air emanating from it.
They hadn’t expected so many, they hadn’t expected so large, and they certainly hadn’t expected the big ones to look like moving art.
Argit and Kevin were not so enraptured, their remaining Erinaen shooing Kevin off towards the books before approaching the counter with all the ease he ever did business.
“Question-” He leaned on the counter as he spoke, ears focused on the vaguely crocodilian alien on the other side. “-my buddy over there can’t go two streets down without getting kidnapped or something, you got a contact with any lines good for emergency messages?”
“All lines are good for that,” the alien they had to assume was Mavovi said. “They just need to be taught who to go to in an emergency, calling for help from the fair is instinctual when faced with something they can’t handle themselves.” A weight seemed to drop from Argit’s shoulders.
“Awesome,” he said, nearly sighed. “I’ve been wanting to get him one for years, finally have the means and opportunity.” Mavovi made a rumbling sound that seemed to be commiserating.
“You aren’t the first in the galaxy,” she said, pulling out paperwork. “First off, can I ask after the household it’ll be going to?”
“Him, me,” Argit said pointing at them both and then Gwendolyn with a begrudging, “and her.” It was enough to snap her back to attention, glowering at him as she stalked over and the boys split off to check out the shop.
“Also a large hunting animal,” Kevin called pointedly from the books. For all his talk, he was still flipping through one.
“How large?”
“About up to here,” Gwendolyn said, holding her hand up at around Zed height. “She’s smart, and mostly well trained, but Kev’s worried a flit will set off her prey drive.”
“She’s an Anubian Baskurr,” Argit added. “Large prey hunters normally, don’t think she’s trained any different.” With a curious sound, Mavovi cocked her head.
“Rescue,” Gwendolyn said, then added a “came pre-trained” just in case the term didn't translate.
“Ah, alright, I can see the problem.” She turned her attention towards Kevin. “They may be too small to trigger a hunting response, especially being raised around her, but you can always bring her over to check. Even if she does get rowdy, she wouldn’t be the first creature Starfall here has disabused.” The golden flit chirped at it’s name, seeming to hold itself a little taller at the praise.
“Sounds good to us,” Argit said, and you could tell how seriously they were taking the matter by the way Gwendolyn just nodded agreement with him.
“I also have about a million issues,” Kevin said, another argument he’d been throwing out there, again made pointedly. Flits were, after all, psychic, and he was, after all, a mess. Mavovi seemed as undeterred as Argit and Gwendolyn however, freezing Kevin in place with a-
“So, you’d be wanting something from a service line then?” As the two at the counter looked at her like she was their new favorite person, she made that same rumbling again until Kevin looked from the book in his hands to her proper. “Flits are resilient things already, you don’t get domesticated by the galaxy at large if you aren’t, and there are plenty of lines known specifically for higher emotional resilience. You would have to wait a bit longer for one in this sector to clutch, but as long as you can afford the price and basic care and training can still be provided-” From the determination in Argit and Gwendolyn’s eyes prices would be paid and care would be provided. “-your issues should be no bar to flit ownership.”
The shop fell into silence, not quite comfortable but not some looming thing, as Kevin worried his lip. As if sensing his discomfort, one of the blues glided to his shoulder, rubbing it’s face against his jaw and crooning. Ben headed over as he scratched at it’s little head, throwing on a toothy smile and socking him in the arm. It did the job of snapping him out of his head.
“You might want to just buy the book,” he said, grinning wider when Kevin snorted a laugh.
“What is the process of getting a flit,” Rook asked from across the shop by the tins, seemingly as much for his own curiosity as to change the subject.
“Well, I don’t have any clutches right now,” Mavovi called back, “and the nearest clutch available has been reserved up, but if that weren’t the case then you would fill out a form to reserve an egg. From there you can either agree to leave it with the dam, which means you and the other owners would be called out to location when the eggs come up to hatching and then see which one bonds to you, or to tend the egg yourself, in which case you would be given or delivered an egg of your or the breeder's choice and left to raise it to hatching on your own.” She pointed at the bookshelves. “The ones with pots and incubators on them are about hatching your own eggs.”
With a curious noise, Rook headed over to join Kevin and Ben as they turned back to the shelves. Meanwhile, at the counter, the three returned to business.
“You aren’t allowed to fill out a form for somebody else,” Mavovi pointed out, watching with bemusement as the young pair sighed.
“We can dream,” Gwendolyn said. One of the greens came over to investigate and she carefully put out a hand, scratching the tiny head when it was settled in her palm. “We worry.”
“I can tell, but it’s a choice he has to make for himself.” Mavovi ran a hand down the green’s back, worrying a dry spot. “If he wants, and his baskurr isn’t a risk, there’s a gold a few systems over who clutches out service stock I can recommend.” With a look between the two of them, at Kevin, and back, the pair smiled at her.
“We’d really appreciate it.”
~~
They left with a few books between the lot of them, a documentary about the discovering and domestication of the species, and assurances from Mavovi that she would put a sign up every time there were eggs available. Another handful of flits popped up in Undertown, this time with more greens, all tiny babies riding a range of species. Ben’s mom and Patelliday chatted for a solid hour when they ran into each other as they reserved eggs from one of the shop greens, getting two of their own out of the deal. Kevin brought Zed out multiple times- sometimes with others, sometimes on his own- and watched her like a hawk for signs of issues.
The closest thing was her sniffing an already keyed-up Starfall and getting clawed across the nose for it, and neither could really be blamed for that. One of the browns had even sat on her back while Kevin signed up to a waiting list for that service gold’s next clutch.
The sheer weight it took off Gwendolyn and Argit’s shoulders made up for any trouble.

I finally finished Rook's design for the project! Here it is:
Tumblr media
At first, I didn't know exactly what to do with Rook's design and even thought about just reusing his Omniverse design. However, I remembered a significant detail about Rook that I have no idea how I could have overlooked: he was promoted to Magister toward the end of Omniverse. To reflect this new position, I added extra details to his Prototech armor that Magisters like Patelliday have been shown with on their Plumber uniforms throughout the series, such as the belt. As for the key in his hand, that's something I'll elaborate on later... :)
What I *will* elaborate on is the title of this project (mainly so I can stop calling it "the project"). I'll post the prototype logo later.

these are designs i've been working on for months, my own take on the negative 10! based on derrick's statements:
Tumblr media
this art is just to get the designs across, they'll receive finalized art in the future
Here's some information about them. They're not what you'd expect from a villain team, they're actually very friendly toward each other and bond a lot, they aren't any threatening or controlling to each other, to others however, they very much are. Now as for information for each of the members shown here:
-Arrash is indeed not the leader but rather co-leader like how Derrick planned, same with him looking like a poison frog, obviously the tech guy of the group. I didn't know any crew member that didn't already have a Galvan named after 'em so i named him after a popular fan artist instead, O. R. Ash.
-Su'korch is the actual leader of the team cuz why not, i just thought it'd be fitting. He's also previously worked for Vilgax and his main goal is to find his body and bring him back.
-Nanitha, she's a bit of a hothead and is super good friends with Arrash, often working side-by-side with hims.
-Spook'omi is supposed to be a subversion of expectations, being shy and not at all evil, she's only in the Negative 10 to get revenge on Ben for killing the leader of their species, Zs'Skayr. she's actually inspired on komi-san lol
-Conidas, i actually had the idea to bring in the Piscciss Volann prisoner as being part of the Negative 10, so this was the previous one before he got replaced due to being captured by the Plumbers, maybe the prisoner joined because Conidas was his brother and he wanted to get back at them in a way. Since Patelliday was named after patellidae, i named him after conidae.
-Gevaudan, they're supposed to be technologically enhanced yes, heavily inspired on and even named after the Beast of Gevaudan, the design is specifically based on the version of it from the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf where it's just a heavily armored wolf(?). -Golp has a bit of a wrester-like personality, aswell as the one behind Gar Redwind's missing hand arm and missing eye, he's a highly wanted criminal. -R-CHRe is overconfident, extremely egotistical, and playful with her enemies she used to be a showwoman, but gave up on that life style, but is considering returning to it. -Shinite is very ninja-like, often using her body to reflect light to blind her enemies, she has beef with Tetrax for the destruction of their planet, having previously trusted him and being a good friend of his prior to her destruction along with Petropia, ever since it and all Petrosapiens were restored, she's been training to hunt him down and kill him. -Lymph is a single mother with no conditions to take of her children, so she joined the Negative 10 to get any support possible.

they're finally done! i can't believe it, it's about time!, i don't know if any of you were excited for the finished product after i first posted the w.i.p., and if you were, thanks for all the wait!

As much as I HC that Max and Pat broke up back in their 20s and are fine staying friends, I do like the idea of them rekindling in their older years and getting closer again mostly cause Max generally feels safer then he did when they were younger because earth isn't such a disaster as it was

Akane Hasegawa has the Omnitrix AU
@smolstarthief, here's some more stuff for the whole Akane having the Omnitrix thing!
______________________________________________________________
Okay, so this takes place after the Omnitrix finally times out. Naturally, everyone is still in disbelief with everything that had just occurred. So, in order to relax, everyone makes s'mores. And for a moment, it starts to work.
Then, the Omintrix times back in. Akane, out of curiosity begins to examine it in more detail. She did what she did last time in order to bring the dial of the Omnitrix up, and instead of simply pressing it, she twisted it and began to scroll through the varying aliens it had, with Zenkichi telling her what species each one was.
While she had what seemed like millions of aliens on the watch, but Zenkichi told her to stick to ten for now and to try out some more later, once she had gotten the hang of the thing. So, she picks the following Aliens;
Conductoid (Feedback), Orishan (Water Hazard), Methanosian (Swampfire), Lepidopterran (Stinkfly), Appoplexian (Rath), Galvanic Mechamorph (Upgrade), Cerebrocrustacean (Brainstorm), Sonorosian (Echo Echo), Loboan (Blitzwolfer) and Kineceleran (XLR8).
During the first few weeks of Summer, Akane starts training with the aliens, so she could easily use them if she was to ever get into a scuffle with someone of alien origin.
As you'd expect, she comes across a bunch of maniacal super villains/villainesses. Dr. Animo, Zombozo and his Circus Freaks, Vilgax's Mechadroids. The works. But there are also some newcomers;
Kajima Kyushu: basically this AU's version of Kevin E. Levin. She's gonna be Akane's main rival/sometimes partner/eventual friend. Becomes incredibly flustered around Akane's cousin.
Maho Hasegawa: Akane's cousin, this AU's version of Gwen Tennyson (except Maho's a guy). Maho and Akane are much more buddy-buddy rather than antagonistic. "Dweeb" and "doofus" are terms of endearment between the two. He crushes hard on Kajima.
Eien Driscoll: Adoptive son of Forever King Driscoll. An alien/human hybrid (much like Kajima) who was adopted by Driscoll, the Forever King plans on using Eien's powers for the benefit of the Forever Knights. He's also Akane's love interest.
Yeah, quite a bit of newcomers, eh? And for those who know who the Forever King is, you can probably guess who Akane's gonna be fighting for the majority of her Summer Vacation.
______________________________________________________________
Characters that are important;
Zenkichi Hasegawa:
Before Zenkichi retired, he was of the level of Magister among the Plumbers. For those who don't know, Magister/Magistra is the second highest rank in the Plumber ranking system, with it being right under the title Magistratus and Magistrata. Once Akane has the Omnitrix, he comes out of retirement.
Zenkichi was partners with Max Tennyson, Patelliday, Phil Billings, Aoi (she was a Magistra), Xylene and a Celestialsapien Gladiator who went by the name Galaxia Starlight.
Before Aoi and Zenkichi were a thing, Galaxia and Zenkichi were romantically involved.
Later on the two have a reunion, with Galaxia mourning the loss of her friend and vowing to eradicate Owada if they were to ever cross paths.
Eventually, the two hit it off again, and Akane gets a badass stepmom.
______________________________________________________________
Yuuki Mishima
In this AU, Yuuki is the youngest person to ever become a Magister in the Plumbers
He's in an unwilling relationship with Looma Red Wind. Somehow, he beat her and she has been sending him Tetramand Gifts 24/7.
Teaches the Phantom Thieves the ropes during their training in Plumbers Academy (yes, I'm making the Phantom Thieves official members of the Plumbers, don't even @ me).
He entered the Plumbers Academy two years ago (like, a few weeks after the whole Kamoshida thing came to a close).
Yuuki is one of the few humans who can causally make conversation with Azmuth. What starts as a simple conversation becomes a storm of hypotheses and theories.
______________________________________________________________
Eien Driscoll
His relationship with Forever King Driscoll is akin to Hunter and Belos from the Owl House. The Forever King simply sees Eien as means to an end rather than a person.
Eien is a human/Fulmini [Full-Min-Eye] (Shock Rock) hybrid. He has a human appearance but can actively transform into a full Fulmini form whenever he gets too emotional.
When he finally reaches an equilibrium, his body takes on features of both a human and a Fulmini.
He has an intense fear of failure (Daddy Driscoll gives out some rather serious "punishments" if Eien does fail).
He's socially awkward, has only heard about the outside world through the news, old movies and old cartoons.
Was told that his parents died in a freak accident that totally wasn't caused by the Forever King.
Will geek out over monsters for hours if you let him. He likes them because he was always told that he himself was one by Driscoll he thinks they're cool.
Is desperate for love and affection. Can't tell when it's fake.
*slaps car hood* This boy can fit so much trauma in him!
But seriously, the poor boy needs a bunch of hugs and kisses A, S, A and P.
______________________________________________________________
Kajima Kyushu
She's an Osmosian, a species of humanoid aliens that have the ability to absorb DNA.
If you watch Ben 10 as a kid, you probably know how this all plays out.
When Akane hears her (Kajima) say "they haven't had the chance to make fun of me yet", I imagine that her heart would break in two.
Everyone's reaction to her Amalgam form could basically be summed up to the term "what the fuck".
Is an open pervert when it comes to Maho, much to Akane's annoyance.
She learns to absorb minerals and alloys during her time with the Phantom Thieves. And even later on, she learns that she can shift her body parts into weapons once she does this.
Soon, she joins Team Hasegawa and the Phantom Thieves after being convinced by Maho.

Maho Hasegawa
As mentioned before, Maho is Akane's cousin.
Maho can be described in a few words; cute, kindhearted, hardheaded (to an extent) and somewhat protective.
Maho admires the Phantom Thieves like Akane, but to a lesser extreme.
When Maho first meets Kajima, he felt like he had been struck by a cupids arrow 20 times.
Much like in the Prime Timeline with Gwen, Maho finds one of the Charms of Bezel (the one that grants him incredible luck) and starts to go by the name Lucky Boy.
This causes Hex and Charmcaster to enter the story.
After fighting and defeating Hex, Maho becomes interested in actual magic and starts to study it profusely. Also, yes, Maho is an Anodite.

Post Omniverse Scribble
I really need to draw more of my post-series Omniverse stuff especially with my "The Plumbers' Corruption gets Exposed"/"Rook and Ben's Epiphany" stuff but here.
During some repairs on the Plumber's station, Warner get's fired for openly badmouthing Magister Tennyson in front of the man. It takes almost a full 24 hours before the station starts falling apart and Magister Patelliday sends Rook and Manny (who's friends with Warner) to get the Splixson back before his sister hires him for her own trading empire.
This takes place just after Warner was fired and he's still kicking himself for not paying attention to who was in the room before speculating what REALLY happened during Max's famous stand off against Vilgax with the Late Agent Levin.
