something came to my mind. maybe this whole shit with Gracie is Paul's revenge on Phoebe. they are friends. they are not together but they are deliberately signaling to the world that they are supposedly dating so that Phoebe will feel bad. instead of moving on Paul is taking revenge also using it to promote G2 and Gracie's music. she is his friend and it works for her too (maybe she even has a crush on him). that is why it does not look like a serious relationship and maybe they do not even care for it to look like one. it is enough for Phoebe to feel stupid and Paul to feel better (especially since he only gave her an unfollow this year). and that is why he took Gracie to Ireland without even hiding it. the boy is unforgiving, I do not judge him.

I also thought this and have said it prior. Obviously, we know 2% of the whole situation and are just gossiping here.

I mean, many of us have been there and tried to make an ex jealous. I do not know if they are friends doing pap walks, fuck buddies who conveniently became a pr relationship, or if they are real (and called the paps on themselves when they had things to promote). I don't get any hint they are romantically linked ngl and god I want him to be happy.

I think they are probably party buddies, and she fancies him way more than he likes her. She wanted him, because she is borderline single white female-ing Phoebe, and he took the chance to make her jealous.

Just speculation based on the fact he looks so uncomfortable in any photo with her. People are messy, especially when hearts are broken.

I was stalking your blog to retrieve that screenshot of Phoebe Bridgers listening to g's music on spotify and i was thinking... what if she wasn't genuinely listening but she was lurking to hear what she wrote about Paul? Don't get me wrong, she obviously moved on a LONG time ago, but if i heard that someone who i was friends/friendly with is now dating my ex and wrote songs about him, i'd get curious and listen. Especially because she references her in multiple songs. I always wonder how Phoebe feels about G after getting with Paul, because as a woman my first thought would be that G is a hater dressed as a fan.

And btw, in the last picture and G and PB took together, the difference in their facial expressions is so interesting... PB looked very at ease while G had this smirk that looked low-key evil

I forgot about that! They are all so messy, I barely want to think about it.

Of course, she would look up the album; who of us would not! It seems to be as someone who isn't a great watcher of this group of people, that Phoebe and G are not great friends anymore. I imagine this might have dented that friendship?

It breaks all girl code, not that Phoebe can talk with her messy private life. G wants to be Phoebe; I found a Reddit thread of all their similarities. Paul is surely smart enough to not fall for it, if G is using him.

It all really doesn't make sense without conspiracy theories or really seeing the worst in people.
