I saw someone say Banhammer was "ancient" even though he is just 46, like, yeah he's the oldest Phighter but he's not THAT old, that's probably younger than most of you guys' parents smh. Alright so she made a response/apology and I have very unorganized thoughts (under cut)

Ngl I don’t know how to feel about it and even then it’s not my apology to accept. No I don’t think how long it took for the response to come out should be a problem considering time zones and all that nonsense.

However I do think that people were right to be uncomfortable with her response on stream ngl cause like it sounded dismissive lighthearted stream or not. I WANT to give her the benefit of the doubt but as it stands this has happened at least twice now and I don’t really think she deserves that trust back until actual change is shown.

On top of that I still think the fandom and larger creators should have had this discussion about how sub/kit shippers were treated long BEFORE it ever got this bad without sweeping it under the rug. Like the conversation surrounding it should have NEVER gotten that bad but hey what’s done is done and now it’s time to do better.

Also if she hasn’t already I hope she does apologize to coil at the very least in private

hey guys, serious post. i do not usually engage in shipping discourse but what is currently happening is downright disgusting and actually harmful.

i’m not sure if this has been shared off of twitter yet, but there’s a group of proshippers within the phighting community deliberately drawing NSFW content in the artstyle of big artists, most of whom are minors, particularly artists that are big over on twitter. this has been stressing me and my friends out. these proshippers cross boundaries. they’ve already mimicked the styles of HcBeau and kelcair, and one of them posted a list of “ideas” of who to copy next. if you somehow come across NSFW content in the style of a popular phighting artist (particularly one who’s a minor), chances are they did not draw it.
