While we are on the subject of Vietnamese cuisine, here is my go-to meal when I eat out Asian (if I have the option to order it). The images are premixed and mixed.

On the menu, it's known as Bún thịt nướng chả giò (if I got the accents right)- and it's basically just rice vermicelli noodles with an assortment of vegetables, grilled meat (pork), and spring rolls.

It's kind of a cluster funk, but it's very hard to mess up and is pretty filling!

#I love pickled veggies it's nice and acidic #This restaurant had delicious grilled pork too it was very flavourful mmmmm #In the background was pho but tbh. It tasted pretty normal :/#My grandma makes better pho #But like. Mmmmm. Bun thit nuong #Since I don't visit Canada over the summer anymore I don't get be in the family barbeques #The only way I can get my bun thit nuong fix is at restaurants //and ig making it myself but it's not the same :(#The restaurant is called phở đúi bò btw //crossing my fingers I got the accents right #Very tasty #The presentation was also amazing hehe #mun rambles

i had a really good day today 🥹💖

#had a lazy morning bc i slept like shit lol BUT. my partner & I had brunch together #and then took a road trip to DAISOOOOO FINALLY I GOT TO GO AGAIN #after that i took her on a date to a little pho place near the store 🥹 and it was DELICIOUS #and i think my partner felt really appreciated too 🥺 she kept saying how sweet i was for takin her out #and how she loves me so much 😭😭😭 swear to god i am so lucky to have her #and we laughed a lot too since the trip was long. lots of stupid jokes and shit lol #best saturday I've had in a bit i think 🥹💖#chatter #autumn

#the valley is posting #this restaurant is so good that it ruins every other vietnamese restaurant in the city for me #there are a ton of vietnamese restaurants where i live and a lot of them are uber-fancy modern spaces with expensive menus #but the /best/ food is still this tiny little family-run hole in the wall teahouse #everything they do is delicious but their pho is so good; it has so much flavor while remaining light and balanced #literally makes every other restaurant's pho taste either bland or over-seasoned in comparison
