Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. My senior year started on the 12th (ha, go figure), and I’ve had no time to update my blogs. Here I am, though! I’m starting the 100 Days of Productivity Challenge so I can make sure I’m posting often.

How are your classes?? This semester, I have one amazing class (English 4), one good class (Theater 1), one okay class (Financial Algebra) and one god awful class (Research. 1. Why does this class exist?? 2. The teacher is the rudest and most stuck-up one I have ever had the displeasure of meeting).

This a photo of some Financial Algebra review guides I created while at the library. I have my first test in the class coming up tomorrow! The teacher is very nice, but he vastly overcomplicates the textbook material, so I just review and grasp the info on my own. Womp womp.

I love me some pancakes and of course waffles, too. 

I eat them every day...how about you?

Every chance I get, I pour on a fresh batch.

I drown 'em in syrup and gulp 'em down the hatch!

Sometimes I have bacon scorched up nice and black.

Gotta have a crispy side to go with my short stack!

They say that I'm obsessed, but I just know what I like.

If you've got a problem with that, then you can take a hike!

I hate most other foods...I don't see their appeal.

That's why I plan for pancakes each and every meal!

Welcome to Plancake, a product of Pia's sentimental self.

My name is Pia, the person behind this studyblr! I've been in the community since 2018, and I thought it would be a great time to reintroduce myself since I have a much larger audience now compared to the first time I made an introduction post. Hehe.

I made this studyblr a few months before my freshman year in university. I intended to track my college life and to take a lot of photos, since I love the aesthetics of studying just as much as I love to study. While I did do that, I didn't post as much as I wanted to. I do have a lot of photos on my camera roll, so expect a lot of old pictures to come!

With that, I've been meaning to become more active and to re-immerse myself in this wonderful community. One of my goals during this time is to just put myself out there and do just that, so here it goes! I just want to be more intentional with Plancake and to be more consistent with my content, since taking/reblogging photos and sharing my love for education makes me very very happy. I know this post is already pretty lengthy, so thank you for reading until here!

Here's some info about me:

I'm a 20 year old sophomore taking up International Studies, Major in European Studies. I will start my minor in Behavioral Sciences this term! I’m pretty excited tbh. After uni, I plan on pursuing law afterwards and becoming a professor. I think teaching is neat. Hehe.

On another note, I do want to post more content regarding college life here in the Philippines. While some of the things I might put out might not apply anymore due to the pandemic—which will change the way things are, especially in terms of college since online classes are a thing now—I still want to help fellow Filipinos and to answer their questions about college and even about my course. However, I do want to say that my content is international studyblr friendly hehe. I'm down to help, support, and listen to all of you. This is a community after all.

‘adults dont always have it together or even have a clue what theyre doing’ yhis kinda helped to humanise teachers and for me to stop putting them on this pedestal. i realised that they are just as clueless as everyone else (minus the fact that they have a lot of knowledge of their field) and they inevitably fuck up and do unkind shit, like the rest of us

Best study tips?

fuck ‘waiting for motivation’. just sit down and get it done. its not gonna be completed until ~you~ sit down and do it, regardless of whether you feel like it or not
