Another reference done...I think I'm up to date with the outfits, my wrist hurts aaa

I struggled so bad with patterns and small details, why is it so hard to design clothes 😭?

I'm honestly so glad that I did an effort to design some of them beforehand, I just had to make it fit on the chibi and that took lots of work of my shoulders...but the ones that are more recent I almost DIED,,I searched for references everywhere and tried racking my brain for something cute but fitting...

I am pleased with the result...now I have to wait until there's other outfit available to design it. Now I can rest ⁽⁠⁽⁠ଘ⁠(⁠ ⁠ˊ⁠ᵕ⁠ˋ⁠ ⁠)⁠ଓ⁠⁾⁠⁾

Ok yeah, that was worth dragging my sorry carcass downtown for (genuine)

#Misadventures around PDX #But it was the first time in recent memory that I enjoyed being downtown #I find Portland's downtown to be opressively unfriendly to the point that it almost feels hostile #Besides Cleveland I've never had any other city's downtown give me that feeling of an increasingly cornered animal that has to get out NOW #But man ... tonight it felt alive. There was excitement & playfulness rather than the usual miserable atmosphere.#People were (mostly) polite and it felt more like a community than I've ever seen it - even in previous festival years #Art istallations were all over the downtown area with many in the nearly endless vacant store windows #Man ... it's gonna hurt when the festival is over and things return to 'normal'#Portland Winter Light Festival

#rant in tags #he just #he’s so misunderstood #he’s playful and fun but when you look past that.. he’s so lonely #people are SO mean to him. they throw beans at him during festivals. try to pick on granny oni. insult him to his face and behind his back #his village accused his family of robbery simply because they were oni’s #they threw ROCKS AT HIM #and he was forced onto the streets when his parents died. picking fights with anyone who bad mouthed onis #until granny oni took him in despite what he is #NOBODY SHOWED UP TO HIS FESTIVAL BUT US #people ridicule him for being childish or a bum when in all reality #itto is still very young in oni years and they don’t realize it #his very first thought when he got his vision was his family. his mom and dad and grandparents and granny oni #and he was so excited he told literally everyone the time of day #who gave him the time of day**#they look at him with distaste and mistrust right off the bat #and these things get to him. he knows people think he’s dumb or that he is evil #to the point where he believes it too #and he doesn’t fucking deserve that at all #he doesn’t.#he is so so warm hearted and caring and would go out of his way to help strangers and risk his life for others #he deserves so much better than what he’s been dealt #im literally crying why are people so mean to him #he has so much love to give and he hardly gets any in return #my heart hurts sm

#my face is hurting from smiling so much after watching the performance #my heart is beating so fast it feel like ive ran a marathon but i feel so ALIVE #this performance is what got me into the band and started my obsession #seeing alex yelling 'LADIESSSSS' and performing 'i bet you look good on the dancefloor' rewired my brain chemistry evermore #and imo it's one of their best performances ever #their energy and the crowd and the setlist was just phenomenal #you could tell they were just having the time of their lives #all the nerves from headlining the first time went out the door and they could just soak it all in and truly enjoy themselves #alex is so goddamn smiley and happy and playful like you can see the joy exuberating from the inside out #and UGH that particular performance of 'a certain romance' brings me to tears every time #the MAGNITUDE of that moment and them playing that song at one of the most iconic festivals in the world is just extremely special to me #goddamn this band #i truly truly couldn't love them more if i tried #they make my heart fly so high #arctic monkeys #glastonbury 2013 #mine
