Summary:

Rick had vanished, and Morty had been in denial about it. He figured his grandfather had gotten side-tracked on a solo adventure or had gone on a bender, or both. It wasn’t unlike Rick to do either, nor was it unlike him to be gone without so much as an explanation. It wasn’t until he found the empty portal gun lying discarded in the backyard that he began to doubt. Furthermore, in his grandfather's absence, strange things began to happen around Morty. Were they related to Rick's disappearance or part of something much more insidious?

Oh the results of this drawing just made me so happy, because at first I thought I wouldn't be able to draw they in sideview, and walking cycle references are to confused for this porpuse.

Context:

Supposedly, due to not reading the name of the dimension, Miami Rick and Morty ended up in a Faker. A Faker is a nickname given to an artificially created dimension, whose purpose is to attract, distract and neutralize different world-devouring plagues. Fakers mimic the original dimensions and can confuse even extra dimensional travelers, as they do here. The danger here was in Miami Morty and Miami Rick getting caught in the Faker's daily reset, which can almost completely alter the behavior of a living being that shouldn't be inside the Faker. This here even takes place before the sketch of Agent Morty carrying Miami Morty like a kid, and even yielded an interaction with Miami Rick himself. Also, I really enjoyed the RP I did with the bot to get inspiration for this. Such a fun.
