#pls I’m so slow

My mind is still processing yesterday's chapter, so what I'm about to write might be a total mess, but here's my take on it. 

In the past few weeks, we've been treated to two Tianshan kisses. More importantly, they are finally canon in the plot. I honestly didn't think we would get this far. In all these years, it never never crossed my mind they would kiss like this (in Mo's room, stuck together like magnets), which is a thousand times better. I thought we'd have to wait for their future for them to get official. And to be honest, if they weren't kissing at all during the whole story, it was clear as day that they were meant for each other and [anything that bluntly shows they are soulmates]. They could have just confessed their feelings to each other or shown that they are officially together in their future, but instead we got more from Old Xian: a kiss.

I personally thought at first their kiss wasn't really necessary to the plot, because we all know they will kiss at some point in their lives, sooner or later. I sound really stupid but I didn't expect to see them kissing at all. However I just forgot they already kissed before and it reminds me that a kiss can play a huge role in Tianshan’s development. And these last few chapters have also proven me wrong. First, the kiss is the best gift I could never imagined because it brings me an immeasurable amount of happiness. It makes me proud to see how far they came from. It makes me smile to see a consensual and passionate kiss from my comfort ship. It makes me happy to witness their intimacy and love for each other. And of course, the kiss itself is essential for both the readers and Tianshan. It impacts the reader's view of their future and, of course, it explicitly shows they are canon. It's a strong development for Mo and Tian too (I won't elaborate more on that here because it would be too long). I'm currently cringing at myself because Tianshan is the very first couple that made me goofy and made me write an entire paragraph about a kiss.

I can add that even though we had a kiss from Tianshan, there is still so much to unpack in the story, which is really wonderful. For the plot, we still have: Zhanyi's development, the anguish of the couple's separation, their future, their parents, She Li, other characters' backgrounds, the mafia part, Qiu Ge and He Cheng and more. Old Xian really managed to build a world with great settings and interesting characters, which are very promising. And these may also take a thousand years. 

To conclude my long rant, after seeing yesterday's spicy Tianshan, I am 100% sure that Old Xian has NSFW arts that will probably never see the light. I swear we will probably never see these treasures, but we can only imagine. Anyway, thanks for putting up with my nonsense, I was just confused the whole time and I still am. All of this just feels surreal to me. What a time to be alive!

I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”

And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.

I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.

Sukuna x reader idea where it’s back in the Heian era or wtvr and Sukuna kidnaps the reader who has no cursed energy or experience in fighting but they are determined to kill him.

He’s ordering them to bow and they don’t, instead getting into a fighting stance and lunging at Sukuna, only for him to grab the collar of their clothes and hold them away from him as they thrash around like a feral rabid animal trying to kill him. They somehow slip away and manage to get hurt so much that the servants have to tend to them and by the time they’re patched up they immediately try to escape and it’s just a bunch of chaos and shenanigans

Sukuna doesn’t want to kill them because he wants them as a concubine or they’re from a famous clan or he just admires their spunk and fight idk lmao

But it’s like slow SLOWWW burn enemies to lovers, full of crack type beat

hi there! i’m new to CM (and the Hotch circle by association) but i’m loooooooving what you’re putting out here! and BOY DO I HAVE SOME THOTS FOR YOU. i’ll start with the tamer ones ☺️ i’ve had a sketch artist!reader stuck on the brain for a while now. i would give you the whole setup for it but this ask would literally be so many fuckin paragraphs long, and i’m not about to burden your inbox with a novel 😂 the gist of it is:

you’re inspirationless as you work a dark case at your hometown’s police precinct, and when the BAU is called in, you’ve suddenly found your muse in the team. your sketchbook spreads started out diverse, drifting from member to member, but as the week went on and they had yet to solve the case, your pages were increasingly filled with many angles of one face in particular. something about the eternally furrowed brow, the strong and set jaw, the increasingly fatigued but determined focus, the sharp nose that kept scrunching ever so slightly with concentration (or maybe it was frustration. or headaches) as the nights dragged on, the defined curves of his neck as he straightened or, occasionally, loosened his tie, all of it really…he really drew your attention…among other things. you captured every bit of him you could onto paper, everything except for his eyes. you never spent more time on his eyes than you had to, because you knew deep down that if you did, you’d fall apart right then and there, for reasons you couldn’t really explain

i’m getting carried away with the setup again. this is already a massive paragraph too long. point is, eventually (as a matter of fact, on the day the case is finally closed,) you get caught by the SSA himself. but before you get the chance to be embarrassed and apologize profusely for your creepage, Hotch asks you to join him and the team for celebration drinks so you can both further…discuss your talents. you can’t meet his eyes, but of course, you accept. this devolves and escalates, and ultimately he asks you to join him in his hotel room, where things spiral even more.

(here’s the actual thot) you’re seated on the end of the bed, sketchbook in a shakey hand, while he’s perched rather majestically (how does he keep doing that in every chair he sits in?) on the armchair in the corner of the room, his stern expression lit by the lamp above him, as well as the city lights that illuminate the otherwise pitch black sky. he’s asked you to draw him once more…but only. if you can look him in the eyes while you do so. you stutter out how impossible that is, that you need to look elsewhere as well if you’re going to get anything of substance, and he just quietly states that he’s “sure you can manage.” cocky bastard. so, with anticipation and little other choice, you do your best, and you tell yourself that was why you did it…but the both of you knew damn well that you did it for every “Good girl” and “You’re doing so well” he gave, each time you held his gaze. his voice alone had you squirming already, but it was his words that pulled whimper after whine out of you. and from those quiet groans he let out in response, you had an idea as to what this was doing to him — and oh how desperately you wanted to look down and see for yourself — but if you looked anywhere besides his eyes or the paper, there was a chance his praise would stop. and…well. we just can’t have that, now can we
