Greetings and welcome to PN Confidential. You may address me as Field. I understand there may be some curiosity about the purpose of this platform, and I would like to provide some clarity.

Within the plural community, there is a widely known discord server called Plural Nest. While it presents itself as a supportive community, there have been instances of misconduct by staff members and the promotion of dangerous literary works. This blog has been created to raise awareness about these issues and provide a space for individuals who have experienced harm or mistreatment within PN to share their stories.

The motivation behind this initiative stems from the belief that a community as influential as PN carries a responsibility to uphold ethical standards, which we feel have not been adequately met. Our goal is to address concerns that have not been publicly acknowledged elsewhere. If you have encountered negative experiences within Plural Nest and wish to share them, whether anonymously or openly, we encourage you to do so. While evidence of misconduct is appreciated, all submissions will be assumed to be truthful unless proven otherwise. It is important to note that this platform is specifically for grievances related to the server's management and staff behavior, not for personal disputes that just so happened to occur within PN.

It is imperative to maintain a respectful and harassment-free environment. This blog is not intended for spreading animosity but rather for shedding light on problematic issues within PN and providing a voice to those who have been affected. If you do not support our mission, we respectfully request you disengage with our content.

We want to abundantly clarify that we fully support endogenic systems, and all kinds of plurals/systems. Our stance against one, specific pro endo server should not be misconstrued as holding anti endo beliefs. Any exclusionary rhetoric will not be accepted on this page.

big long story time from Twitch because i'm the one who was there and also it's near impossible to distill into a single paragraph, let alone a few sentences.

okay so. enter inclus plural discord server circa two weeks ago (i think, amnesia and overcompensation for time loss make us feel like it's been at least a month but it almost certainly hasn't been). we're having a good fun time. we'd just left another pluralcord server because people were using a slur against AsPD while simultaneously fetishizing it (completely different and unrelated story but leaving that server is the main reason we didn't leave the server that's the subject of this story for so long).

there's a discussion in the lgbtq+ channel. we check it out. (note: perisex, which we find out through this conversation) server owner is talking about how using shi/hir pronouns (note for readers other than Lux: shi/hir pronouns are intersex exclusive) is a big part of their identity. someone else mentions that shi/hir pronouns are "considered intersexist by some people", but that they don't know why. up until this point in the server, we'd just been assuming the server owner was intersex and didn't talk about it.

i, Twitch, am a blunt motherfucker and also somewhat bad with words. we collectively also fucking hate confrontation. i chime in explaining the history of shi/hir pronouns and why "some people think it's intersexist for perisex people to use them" (paraphrased, was trying to avoid making it seem like we thought they were being intersexist because. well. see above about hating confrontation and also having just left another server because of bigotry)

server owner's response boils down to "well i didn't know that, people should just let me live!"

i say a paragraph that essentially says "we think it's whatever, it's not a big deal, it doesn't matter, it's weird to think it's so intersexist because xyz". note: we don't actually think that. again, afraid of confrontation and trying to avoid losing another community server lol but we knew literally nobody would take our side if we stated our actual position. as evidenced by...

... the server owner taking my message in the literal worst light possible, saying i was passive aggressively accusing them of being intersexist because "'it's whatever' is a very vague statement :/". and when the other person in the conversation offers a more generous interpretation of our statement, the server owner instantly shuts it down. the server owner also says, based on their misinterpretation of what i said, i was being exclusionist by saying shi/hir pronouns are intersex-exclusive because of their intersexist history, which went against the application form, which would make us liable to be banned. again, i had not said that. i was explicitly trying to avoid saying that because we'd just lost another server.

i explained what i actually meant by the words (not our actual stance but y'know). the owner basically goes "oh, whoops. sorry, i got upset because of my bpd and because these pronouns are so important to my identity"

extra fun ("fun") things to note:

when the server owner referred to me while talking about how i was supposedly being exclusionist, i was repeatedly referred to with they/them pronouns. i do not use they/them pronouns, my pronouns are it/its and he/him, and i have it/he in my displayname. i had to send multiple messages saying "hey, i don't use they/them" before the server owner said "oh, oops, sorry, i tunnel-visioned because of my bpd and didn't realize those were your pronouns"

early in the conversation (when explaining the history of shi/hir pronouns), i made sure to mention "hey, we're intersex, we're not just pulling this out of our ass". our being intersex was never brought up again by anyone. later on, another intersex person chimed in saying she didn't think shi/hir pronouns were intersexist, and the server owner responded with "i value your opinion because you're intersex".

based on above, methinks the server owner only values the opinions of intersex people on intersexism when it's convenient for the server owner to do so, considering our (perceived by the server owner, technically real but never stated) opinion was absolutely not valued by the server owner and nearly got us banned.

later on the other intersex person left the server and we were the only other intersex person there. whenever we mentioned being intersex afterwards we were met with complete radio silence. like literally 0 acknowledgment.

anyways we left the server a few days ago. we're just still reeling from it lol. feel free to do whatever with this

I know the Discord server Multiplicity Database, that has lots of links to inclusive system servers, and it's updated pretty regularly. A similar one is Plural Hub, but some people don't like that one. Hope this helps!

You know what.

you fucking know what. I barely care about my personal shit with plural nest at this point- it still hurts me. it still feels shitty. but that does NOT and will not outweigh the absolute disgust I feel toward the moderators of that server for promoting a "book" (the body keeps score or whatever.) so genuinely fucking disgusting and harmful to their massive server- THAT HAS MINORS IN IT. how are you going to repeatedly say your server is a safe space when you constantly promote a piece of so-called literature so genuinely sickening and disgusting that some people aren't even able to finish it.

how are you going to promote a book that contains vivid depictions of rape and abuse and medical malpractice from the lense of THE ABUSER. ESPECIALLY IN A SERVER WHERE MINORS ARE PRESENT.

and if you don't believe me on how disgusting that book is go look up the 1 star reviews for it. it's actually fucking sickening.

I highly, highly doubt any of you are reading this but I fucking mean it. PN mods; you are disgusting people I'm not just saying this because I don't like you personally I am saying this because doing something like this is genuinely morally disgusting. and I fucking PRAY, I'm not religious, but I PRAY that some fucking day somebody with a bigger platform than myself finds out what you've been doing and calls you the fuck out.
