#if one of the words you guess kinda make sense but is wrong then your ass is not getting that page filled in #also they made some game designs that i disagree with #actually im gonna talk about it right now in the tags #i will only be talking about the tutorial puzzle room so no spoilers #well i will be spoiling this puzzle but whatev #theres a lever and a closed door and a note next to it that says 'up = closed door. down = open door.'#the goal of this level is to figure out what the words say because its in a made up language with words represented by symbols #So naturally #you flip the lever and realize that doing so opens the door and then you can assume what the symbols mean #OH WAIT #YOU LOOK BACK AT THE LEVER AND ITS GONE BACK TO THE UP POSITION #AND THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN #so that really messes up how youre supposed to figure out the words?? like how do you know the down position is open what if someone had fl #flipped it before so down meant close because they closed it by pulling the lever down #IT JUST DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!#THEN AFTER THAT they force you to fill out the pages to get the words locked in #they dont let you proceed until you do so #so. Naturally #you assume that whenever the pages show up youre supposed to be able to figure it out at that point #which is like saying youre supposed to fill out a crewmates name on the Obra Dinn as soon as their face gets unblurred #in other words its only there because you got the smallest of hints. you are at the earliest possible point that you can figure it out on #UNREASONABLE BUT THATS WHAT IT TEACHES YOU #all in all it doesnt feel like the game was playtested by other people #plus the movement is too slow

im just going to go off in the tags for my review but last nights concert was crazy, entertaining, and crazily entertaining. while they did not play the rhythm thief clearly my rhythm, if i ever had any, was stolen and ron and russell were easily able to see my lack of clapping and dancing skills. when will those 70+ year old men stop beating me at everything

#you would think clapping on the beat is easy. not when youre on a level of excitement you havent been since you were a kid #in all seriousness my sarcastic tone is covering the fact that i really did enjoy it all so much. now on to the analysis #we'll get right to the heart of the matter: russell was sweating three songs in and well. there are many benefits to being in the front row #im really really sorry. but. good god i may have been looking at his neck a lot of the time #also it may have been during the first song but i feel like it was during another one where he jumped (beaver o'lindy?)#and my eyebrow raise and look of 👁️👄👁️ when his shirt rode up was very palpable. i was very close .#i think russ looked at me a couple times near the start but it was more of a dfjfljkda dont look at me im staring at u like 😍 moment for me #im just so self conscious it hurts! but i was smiling my head off the entire time while also not knowing how to stand #the front row was standing the entire time it was wild #also i think the moment i predicted did happen of ron giving me a look like 🤨 for knowing all the lyrics to one of their more obscure songs #but i could be wrong.#russell was bouncing off the walls as usual but good god to see it in person. and he sounded incredible!!!!#i also could not resist bouncing a few times. its contagious. plus you gotta do it during music that you can dance to #good gosh what a fun time.#at the end of the concert someone was like 'i could see you looking with such love' like yes very true. good to know it was obvious #can i just say again russell was sooo. its a different thing altogether seeing him like 6 feet away in the Real World #did i mention how sweaty he was. ok review almost over #still no eaten by the monster of love but hard to complain with such a great show #spars #sparks tour 2023 spoilers

i think next semester is finally going to be the one that gives me a heart attack and kills me 💞

#vent #let's see #i am:#-doing my normal job stuff at the theater plus some additional grant work #-helping with a children's book that the theater is making which includes not only writing some of it but marketing it #-doing my first big boy serious puppet show that we might submit to the national slam if it's actually good #-writing and acting for a live sci-fi audio drama that has shows every month #-taking on a second job as a part time grader for fms 100 which includes attending one class per week and grading assignments for 100+ ppl #-taking 15 credit hours that are all upper division semester long classes and have me on campus from 9am-4:15pm tues and thurs #-finishing two (2) portfolios to apply for both concentrations in my major program (because i'm insane. i guess)#-probably should start worrying about my lgbtq certificate capstone oh yeah btw i think i have to do two capstones my senior year isnt that #something #-also im moving out of my parents' house next month so it'll be my first time living on my own #(so my winter break isn't even a break really bc i have to pack everything and move)#can someone just like. idk #give me a really long hug or something #i don't know what to do like. genuinely #barely even surviving school right now bc it's finals

its still cartoony, but its less cartoony than wario is [tbh waluigi too but he's easier to hide mess-ups] and i either fuck up his proportions or they look wrong they way i draw them. or both

#hi i want to complain publicly bc i have nothing better to do so. enjoy the picture of this Thing #i am in. so much pain. idk if i've ever been in this much pain #my entire body aches like it would with the flu but no fever #im sore from throwing up #i tried to eat soup and i cant even do that #(i did find a mint tho and my neighbor gave me ginger ale)#and on top of that i just DESTROYED my body when i laid down #i cant stand on my right leg now and my ribs on the right side H U R T #so i am now confined to typing in my bed. no more 5hr sm64 history video for me #i wanted to show off my new pokemon :( i dont wanna ask for the switch tho #plus bright plus loud. im in a dark room with nothing but the AE flag to keep me company jdjfh #i am. so cold #blanket is not enough i need to be set on fire #chat

i don’t want to jinx it but i think the flareup might actually be over :D

#i’ve felt better the past few days #obviously i don’t feel *good* lol that never happens but i don’t feel like throwing up and dying #which is definitely an improvement #it could be the emotional weight lifted off me since i finally told my mom everything that was going on with me health wise #it was scary and idk yet if im glad that i did but it’s definitely a relief to not be hiding it (as much) anymore #to be fair after last monday’s episode it was kinda hard to keep up the illusion that i was healthy 😅#anyways here’s hoping that the flare up is over and that i don’t have an episode tomorrow #because this has been the worst flare up so far it’s really taken a toll on me #and it’s lasted like two months #usually they only last like two weeks #ugh #it’s been awful i’m not gonna lie #my mental health isn’t pretty right now tbh #but i’m staying whimsical despite the horrors #my friends are having some struggles so im staying strong for them #hopefully these next few weeks (months? 🤞) will be better #plus drama is starting!!!!!!! i’m really excited for the show we’re doing it’s going to be so fun #and i’m going to have something to do with my time other than sit around in pain and falling asleep #i do hope the stress of drama doesn’t set me back again though 😬#anyways we’re not going to worry about that right now #praise be to god for helping me out of this even if it’s just briefly :]#being functional feels great #hope y’all are having a good month!!! <3
